5641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 07, 2020, 12:03:44 PM
Does this mean every online casinos would require KYC?

If that is the case I guess there would be a problem to some crypto gamblers since I know the majority of the gamblers using cryptocurrencies wants themselves to be anonymous or just doesn't want to send their information.  I am fine with the cap or the requirement to provve but this is different.

If we are talking about the KYC method regulations on gambling, we will have different views by the people all around the internet but we will find the majority will be against this implementation because no one wants to show their true identity just to play gambling online. anyway, in this era of crypto gambling online, we don't see it'll gonna implemented soon since a lot of people will be against it. but we cannot say after they finalized their decision, if that happened, then I guess the market in the online gambling will be greatly subsided.
5642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jon Prosser’s YouTube Channel Hacked on: August 06, 2020, 04:32:05 PM
Obviously these guys are the same with the one who hacks the twitter pages of the known people on the internet including bill gates. I guess we should take care of our other social media accounts especially those who have some huge followers on their hands. For they will going to hack it next judging by their way of hacking from one to another social media on the internet.

According to the one of the article I read earlier the hackers has some access to the tools which is were supposed to have only been available to its own staff or the people who have privelaged to do the moderation job.

5643  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why there are too many topics related to Crypto Scams here? on: August 06, 2020, 03:40:19 PM
If it's about specific scam project then it should be posted in the scam section but if it is about tutorial guide about scamming then it's ok to post it here, in scam section there is a format here, you need to have subject to make your thread valid, or it will just be deleted.

Yeah right, if the method of the scammers is new to us, we should post it right away but let's not forget to use the search button in case someone has already posted it before us. But if now one has post it, we should post it to warn everyone about that new hacking method. Because it really useless when post it after someone became a victim of it. The only problem it'll cause is the other topics that contain tips and other good resourceful posts for the newbies are being buried with this scam topics. how about someone creates a thread then all of the scams will be posted there?

100 EUR per month is very low, it's going to help reduce the gambling problem of most people but how about those who can really afford to risk more than 100 EUR, these people are gamblers, they can even afford to risk that amount in just a single bet, and believe me, in our country there is no regulation like that but I experience putting a bet or $1000 in just a single bet.

Damn this regulation, if the government will intervene, it's taking our freedom to gamble.

I think they are going to make something good decision for the majority of the people and when this thing works out, they will have other rules to implement for anybody who can afford to lose more than 100 EUR. Anyway, this is good decision by the upper hand since gambling addiction can lead to people's death if not resolve immediately. anyone has different opinions regarding this one, the only way to stop the suicidal problem of a gambler addict is to test this kind of rules to see if it works or not.
5645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kobe Bryant's death has been used for scamming. on: August 06, 2020, 02:33:12 PM
From what I read in the article about how you can protect yourself from hijacking, is you need to update both your antivirus and operating system to be able to scan those malicious files hiding in your devices to secretly mine cryptocurrencies. Every time you accidentally download on of those files, they automatically delete it. it depends on what antivirus you are using though as some of them is just nothing compared to the others. what are your thoughts on this?

5646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 06, 2020, 11:16:00 AM
That does not really matter at all, no one in this world has some mentality to take the loss unless that someone is fully loaded with money. every loss is hurting us in any way, the only problem here is how a person handle that loss. The countries that still implementing ban on gambling, has already known the negative impact of gambling on their people. one might commit suicide if they lose a big amount of money. Like what happened with this one: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-40128776

Seriously, guys, this publication is good enough for the others who might fall victim to identity theft since they won't be confused if the authority knocks on their doors for no reason. They will just simply tell those police that it was not them who did the criminal act. They can use this article to clean their names instantly. so it was not bad news at all. I just wonder if you are get accused and thrown into prison, will you be able to save yourself with those statements in that Country?
5648  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Protect Your Account on: August 05, 2020, 01:40:00 PM
Oh, that man really messed it up in just one night. I think the hacker got it all cleared after the owner of the account has fallen to sleep. This something I knew before when I was a newbie in the industry. Once they know the email address you are using, You just give them a 50% chance to steal your account. The good thing is, most of the users are already hide their email add in their profile. He can regain back his account since he maybe has the necessary information to give the Cryptios.

Find more information here to know about the Cryptios:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143439.0
5649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite Betting? on: August 05, 2020, 01:04:05 PM
Look, guys, No matter how bad the graphics or the game itself, as long as it gathers fans all around the world to support the popularity of the Olympics and its sales. They will gonna add it for sure and this is not a problem at all since there's so many Fortnite players all around the world.
For the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in 2021, there will be lots of esports included and one of my favorites is Dota 2. I'm really excited to see those elite players competing with each other representing their own country.
5650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: August 05, 2020, 12:22:51 PM
I don't think this is a good idea since women are not like men. Their skills are a far way off to one another, you know?
I saw a boxing match with a woman versus a man then he beat the man with no problem. although that was only an amateur fight, I don't think the match was good to consider that fight is going to give us nice entertainment. it is the same for the soccer match and any other games that involve competing for one another with their physical bodies. Chess and other mind games should be OK though.
5651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 05, 2020, 10:58:14 AM
Peer to peer transactions should be fine for you for now since your country has not yet awakened to realize what goodness BTC can bring to your country. The only way you can trade in good shape is when your government lifts the banned on Cryptocurrencies just like us. Since you don't have a problem with trust when trading with the other holders, you are also in good shape as well. When you don't have enough courage to trade BTC in the country like yours, you won't feel the sweetness of the market when the price is going up.
5652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Gambling idea - How it can be "patented"? on: August 04, 2020, 03:17:13 PM
As in the above quote one can go apply for patent with the respective bureau organised by every country with specific terms and conditions. I don't think it can be patented with the purpose of gambling. Maybe a game can be innovated and patented. This patented game can be further used into gambling.

I agreed, it can be copied by someone else and innovated some rules and changed the name of the game. Like for example soccer and lacrosse these two games have almost the same looks but have different rules. Also there are many more examples you can find out there. In this way, they don't have to worry about copy righted materials. they just need your idea for them to create something almost the same games.

Lacrosse

Soccer

5653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anti AntiVirus Bitcoin Core on: August 04, 2020, 02:26:04 PM
Sometimes I downloaded some files that automatically deleted by my anti-virus even though it's nothing to do with my security or whatever. It's fine for me because I can simply exclude the files whenever I want to use it again. But we are talking about Bitcoin core here and this is some serious matter, you know what? what if you finally synchronized all the nodes needed and when you update your anti-virus and when it finally has done, it automatically deletes the bitcoin core? because of their new updates.
5654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 04, 2020, 02:02:26 PM
I haven't visit Announcements (Altcoins) nowadays as I lose my interest in those crypto projects that only good on their road map but suck when they launched their project. I wonder how they managed to gather such huge amount of money from their investors and not even using it to further develop their product. I mean, they always good at sales talking to their investors but they're just making some excuses when it comes to the development of their project. No development, no further investors = the price will be stuck or sink at the bottom with no sign of returning back.
5655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 04, 2020, 01:20:19 PM
There's no August, NBA might resume by October according to the Commissioner Willie Marcial.

PBA now looking at a mid-October start to season after MECQ delay

The PBA betting will be delayed again, let's focus on the NBA now.  Grin

That's not bad decision at all, considering the surge of the cases in Metro Manila nowadays they should delay it this month. Players health is at risk we are not capable of handling their safety like those NBA players. they have they own secutiry measurement in every team. unlike our PBA, I think we cannot handle such thing in here. that's right since we have the NBA resumed this month, let's just watch it.
5656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SCAMMING AS AN OPTION/ADVICE TO SCAMMERS on: August 04, 2020, 11:53:01 AM
This is a generalization, and usually only applies to offline scams.
Online scammers, for most part, are opportunistic idiots who want to see what happens. As online scams involve hardly any or no risk at all.
They try it, and if they succeed it's good, if not, they get blocked.

On the Offline scams, there are some people who take advantage on your ignorance in something that involves money or any things related to wealth then they will talk to you and gives you some promising offers which will never gonna happen at all. After they got what they want, they will disappear as if nothing happened. Those idiots will not escape what they have done because, after so many successful scams, they also lose the people's trust especially those who are close to them. Consequences with this kind of thing are brutal, they don't really show when you have everything in your hands. the result of their action will show when they are old with no one to talk to.
5657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 04, 2020, 11:26:11 AM
I’ve seen Mike videos in training, he looks a real beast & is obviously training & living/eating clean. Jones only retired recently though so I dunno, if he can get through 2 rounds Jones will win but Tyson could easily knock him out early.

Since this will be Mike's first fight after long years of rest, this fight will not be the same as he used to fight 30 years ago. but what if, after all those years have passed he regain it all the skills and the power punch the once he has in this training. I may say Jones will be at his best after this training too but if he caught with that version of Mike Tyson, he will taste something he didn't experience in his fight as a professional boxer.
5658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do if you get scammed! on: August 04, 2020, 11:00:08 AM
I was scammed too when I was selling altcoins with p2p on telegram without using escrow. I trusted that man because he seems knows too much about the project and promise me to send his payment after he is done with this thing. He said to me: I'm currently walking to get home after I get home in an hour I send to you the payment. then after that, he promises me after he is done with his dinner he will surely send me the payment. It goes up to another reason after that he never replied to my message again. My advice to you guys, no matter how the person came to you with a good offer don't send your BTC or altcoin first. use some escrow we have a lot of them here.
5659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for a BC noob please on: August 04, 2020, 10:36:09 AM
The only thing I know about moving BTC to your bank account is you first need to convert your BTC to fiat (any national currency) then after that, you can move it to your bank account. But I can't tell if the bitcoin wallet you are using is from the online exchanges. if not, there's no way to do it unless you move your BTC to the online exchanges that support BTC to Dollar conversion or any other currency. In our case we used coins.ph
5660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [experience]; In one family all professional gamblers. on: August 03, 2020, 04:07:54 PM
Not a friend but I have known some people who are like this and they were playing right back when I was a kid until now. their whole families way playing but only local gambling but still gambling with their money you know. but there is something wrong with them because when you see them, they seem not able to buy some new clothes or some new things. literally all of their money has been used for gambling. that's right they became so much addicted where they can not even spend some money to buy new clothes and their other necessities.
