From what you said I can understand the reason for your enthusiasm and zeal towards this alt, you're hoping it does go smooth and make you "rich". I think probably almost everyone in this forum has gone through a phase like that, and majority of them didn't end well, just like me.

I do not even think it's about being "forced" to post in a certain section, I would blame the fact that some users simply do not want to engage in the conversation, especially those which had been made prior to the time they want to post theirs, they rather would prefer to hurriedly make their post and go over to the next thread.

What if the spammer isn't on a signature, not all spammers are on signature campaigns, the current "reporting of spam posts to the moderator" is working quite well in my opinion, you must also accept the fact that no method would provide an absolute solution.

The scammer could also be someone who knows the OP and chatting with him with another number(you may never know). I do not think the issue is even with being careless with your mobile number or email, those can be gotten very easily this days. So many users also get such messages via telegram, and that app doesn't use Mobile number.

The issue is with the users reaction to such messages, did he or she get immediately excited and greedy so as to fall for such nonsense. If one is able to curtail his or her greed, falling for all this nonsensical scams would be almost impossible.

 The thing is, you cannot compel people on what to invest in, it's their freewill choice to make and obviously it's their money that's "on the line". Let's be honest, it's impossible to get rid(totally/absolutely)of scam projects, we as a community can only raise users consciousness and awareness to their existence and encourage them to avoid most ICO projects.

That awareness/education is anything but lacking in here, especially in the beginners board, there are so many threads that come up, warning new users, so they do not fall a victim, and I do not think anything more can be done about this.

It took me quite a while to understand you, but what is said is correct, one can try as much as possible to earn merits and even make it an obsession, but until such user puts in quality into their posts, then it's as good as they aren't doing anything.

Whether one is after merits or not isn't the business of the forum, as long as such user is posting qualitative content, then such user would deservedly earn merits, we cannot decipher whats in the mind of a user, but we definitely do not need one line spammers or plagiarists. When a newbie begins to trade, I think the last thing that should be on his mind is to become "successful" immediately, that's like a trap that would lead such trader to his or her doom, instead of placing all the focus on success, and how rich you'll become, you need to also think about how to get knowledge, how to learn and how to learn from the mistakes that some other people have probably made.
