5641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Local bitcoin trading site doing KYC NOW on: August 06, 2019, 06:50:27 PM
Traders decreasing from where? How can that happen because of KYC.
I dint think so, It is just based on assumption that we think KYC is decreasing the number of users day by day, who caress about KYC from a system that is given one money, is just like me looking for a job now and they ask for KYC, do you think I would reject it, no I won’t do that, I will only ensure that the job is a genuine one.

Some months back, I could hear the sound of many people crying out loud for regulation, if cryptocurrency was to be regulated, do you know that one of the most in the regulation would be KYC, so I really don’t see why we should have issue with it. KYC is something that is beyond our control and there is no amounts of negativity we speak about it that will change it from being required because it is a government own policy.
5642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Habit of Giving Up Is Just An Escape on: August 06, 2019, 06:12:51 PM
It is better they leave than to stay in the market and keep gathering the fund, because it is at that point that they have gathered enough they start thinking of how to scam and run away with the money, at least they are still better than those that would stay, gather the money and then when they enter the exchange market, they dump the coin and then still give an excuse of either investors dumping or bounty hunters dumping, meanwhile it is not true, they are the ones that dumped just to exit the market, thereby using the excuse I mentioned above.

It is better that we eliminate lazy and people who are not pushy from the market at this early stage, so encouraging them now is just like inviting more dead projects to be giving birth to.
5643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A point To still Hold Litecoin As An Investment? on: August 06, 2019, 04:17:58 PM
Although there is nothing much exciting about Litecoinfor now, and even the halving that I relied on had no effect on Litecoin, it was just as if the halving was made for bitcoin, instead of Litecoin surging, it was bitcoin that responded instead, and if not for the increase of bitcoin, Litecoin may not have seen its recent little increase.

I think if you are to hold Litecoin, it would be wise to just hold half of what you have right now and probably put the remaining half into bitcoin, although I am feeling that the altcoins season would be here soon, so alternatively, you could just hold it and wait for the altcoins season to come and increase the little it can increase, then you withdraw the whole altcoins before it goes back to bear market and keep you wondering for another long years.
5644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2019, 11:04:34 AM
Why in the world do youngsters like Saini get carried away when they perform well? These kinds of players will probably never make it big in the Cricketing world thanks to their own stupidity. Lots of potential, but there isn't any point if you can't control your emotions.
It is just part of game and their celebrations but I am sure new players will slowly learn how to behave on international stages. There had been many players who had failed in their entire career to groom, if you remember the incident of Munaf patel's clash against umpires in an IPL match which ended his international chances but it is too early to conclude on this young man. Usually blowers behave rude out of emotions but everything should be complying within code of conduct and players who realize these survives and finds success at least in team selection process.
5645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 06, 2019, 07:05:44 AM
We know that lottery has attracting many people to buy the ticket with a very low price so they can buy a lot of tickets and hope that one of their tickets can win the money, any money. But the truth is that the lottery is pure base on the luck so we are difficult to see we can win the money even to win the jackpot. We all too greedy to buy a lot of tickets and we spent too much money because we think that lottery can give fast money to us, but the reality is just a game that needs the luck to win.
Indeed right, the lottery game is based on luck and it is hard for anyone acquiring the massive amount of the prize pool on a lottery. The odds are low chances and the value of tickets to purchase is very cheap. That's why people that want to rich quick are hoping and dreaming that someday they will hit the prize pool of lottery and live happily ever after and an early retirement once you hit the jackpot prize. Well, we can't blame that there are some gamblers must they choose lottery than other gamble game.
I have a contrary belief, I am not really into lotteries because of how cheap it is and I belief I would still do it if it was way more expensive. The reason I would choose lottery is because I understand its strictly a game of chance and I am quite so optimist that luck would always be on my side and even though I do not win instantly, I could keep on playing believing that the time is just not ripe for me.

This cannot be compared to other games that you have to put in a lot of skills, research and also more money and at the end of the game still get fucked up because the house is always the winner. That’s bullshit. Rather stay on a game that you know its complete luck based. No manipulation whatsoever, this is my pure reason why I choose lottery and would again choose it over  all forms of gambling.
5646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 06, 2019, 06:00:03 AM
Don't gamble while you are intoxicated, for obvious reasons judgement is impaired and you will be reckless with how you play.
This is against my motto of gambling. I do gambling for entertaining myself and I do have the habit of having multiple fun simultaneously. Yes, I do drink regardless of I gamble in physical casino or dicing online. I do bet on my favorite sports by watching the live matches along with alcohol and cheer girls.

All these are possible for me because I do gamble for fun and in sportsbetting I do place my bets before start drinking.

I agree drinking and gambling is not a recommended way of gambling yet you may go for it ONLY if you do not care about what returns you are making out of your bankroll. It would be complete foolishness to gamble for both fun and profits at a same time. Target either one at a time.
5647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 06, 2019, 05:23:54 AM
gambling should not become a habit that's why I'm thinking to abandon it completely (or may be I should gamble when I feel like doing so, like you said).

I got lucky few days ago, and made 14 eos from 0.50 eos, didn't withdraw anything and lost it all.

Then yesterday made like 5 eos profit, withdrew 3 eos, played with remaining 2, lost it.

Today played with last three and lost it as well.

Now, I guess, I should just leave it. Lol!
I would like to say that you should not consider quitting as an option at all. There’s no habit that cannot be controlled. Have you forgotten the saying that winners are not quitters and quitters are never winners??? So bro, get back on your feet and think about how you can master your games and as well avoid all gambling contradictory habits if you discover any.

I think for every loss in gambling, there is always a mistake that might likely affect the next games. You actually made that first mistake of not withdrawing that first 14 eos , probably the first lost affected you in playing subsequent games. I never play with so much money and the good thing is that the little I play with brings me back profit.
5648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy or sell? on: August 05, 2019, 06:32:06 PM
As we noticed the price volatility of Bitcoin when it reached ($13k, the highest price for this year at the moment) and then suddenly the price drops at $9k.

And today bitcoin price is about $9,900. So I'm just wondering 🤔 is it now the great time to buy bitcoin or should I sell? Can you give me some of your opinions? Thanks in advance. 😁
Everything depends on your goal and target, if your goal is to make money off bitcoin in a short term, then you can sell straight away but if your goal is to stay with bitcoin for a long term and witness more increase in the value, then you would not be making the wrong decision because I must tell you that bitcoin value still has lots of great increase to make.

whatever figure you see now, is just a shadow of what bitcoin value will really be in future, and when I talk of future, I am not talking of 1 or 2 years, I am talking of 10 years and more, even before tat 10 years, you would have been thankful for making the decision because I am sure that within the next 10 years, bitcoin might have increased to $100k, and no matter the bear market then, it will never go below $50k.
5649  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the bitcoin price prediction for 2020? on: August 05, 2019, 05:29:00 PM
Any bitcoin price prediction for 2020

any experts price predictions??

I am positive that bitcoin will go from $10K to $20K on the first month of 2020 if facebook Libra will launch at the end of the year 2019. Bitcoin's popularity sure will be boom and a lot of non-believers are going to buy. Libra is the best piece of crypto so far in order to have more marketing strategy and be accepted by society.
Why? do you have to tie thee bitcoin development to Facebook Libra coin that may never see the light of the day? Was Facebook coin in existence when bitcoin reached $20k in the last all-time-high? There are so many factors that have been prepared and would contribute to the growth of bitcoin value in the coming bull run. Just barely some months back, we were in $4000, and bitcoin suddenly rose from that point to an unbelievable point from that moment.

So you should understand by now that the growth of bitcoin relies on positive factor and to me, Facebook is even one such coin that will bring negativity to the bitcoin because of its selfish ambition in trying to make Libra a global currency, there will be more marketing on Libra as whole and not the general cryptocurrency as whole.
5650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: August 05, 2019, 04:19:34 PM
The only risk I can see and say was a mistake is when someone buys a coin at peak, and even with that, the money in never lost. Any investment in bitcoin is very safe. In as much as we have whales manipulating the market, we still have presence of strong investors too that knows how to drive the market forwarded, and no matter the time you buy bitcoin, it will still always be worth it future.

I am sure many people that see bitcoin as risky investment are those that invested in 2017 at peak price, but if you look at the rate at which the bitcoin technology is growing, they will see that their decision was still never a mistake or risky, they only got delayed a bit out of their timing mistake. The only risk that I see is when you trade on margin and that is the personal risk of such trader and not bitcoin generally.
5651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: August 05, 2019, 02:59:57 PM
Some example, you deposit 100 USD, you use martingale method to gain at least 1 dollar (1%) and you stop, and do the same the day after

This is just a random example I made right now, but I want to see if there's someone who try to use a strategy to gain very small profits daily instead of trying with big bets

And guys, I know there's no 100% strategy, it's just curiosity

i think yours is a good strategy already, there will always a time that you are successful using a martingale, if you can stop or quit after winning at least $1 or 1% then that would be ok, one of the problem gamblers are facing is the temptation to go ahead when they are having a winning run, if you can control that then you could win and make your investment grow.
I would say that this isn’t even possible considering that $1 is a very small amount of money to make a profit. I understand it is just for example but the reality is that this strategies could give very little money as profit at the beginning, though safe to use. But trust me as a player with great desires, you would definitely see the money as too small compared to what you desire to make, this is the reason why gamblers double bet or want to play more to earn more money.

I have been in this position and really I just had to accept that gambling is a game of risk while I take the risk, yea it sometimes fail especially in the long run using martingale, but there’s a bit of fulfillment.
5652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the best gambling games originally from Asia? on: August 05, 2019, 02:18:20 PM
What are the best gambling games originally from Asia?
I noticed that the OP is a newbie and that aside, a female from the name, and I would like to welcome you to Bitcoin Forum and being a female member is quite impressive to have vast and industrious lady, I used the word industrious because I want to believe you are interested in gambling because you want to make money, and if I am correct, then you are at the right place with the right motive.

Back to your question, there are a lot of popular games I know from Asian but not sure which is best, i think this can only be determined by those who may have played and done comparison between them. However, you can check out PaiGow and Keno; I think this two tops the list of Asian games.
5653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Video] How do Casinos make money? on: August 05, 2019, 01:45:37 PM
Business is business, casino owners would love gamblers to get addicted to gambling because that’s when they can get money of profit from. They don’t mind anything else, all they have to do is set up a very good house edge and offer provably fair games to entice gamblers and gamblers will do the rest.
Yes, I would like to add that I do not blame the casino site, like you said and I agree, business is business. This people are doing everything within their means to maintain the profit base but then I feel sorry for the stupid players that would fall and keep on falling to this trick. It’s a pity I must say, and the worst of them all are those who claim to be playing for fun, like seriously??? Someone is somewhere making money on you and you are gladly happy paying in the name of having fun?? That’s one thing I dislike

If casino houses are for profit making, then players should also be involved with the aim of making money. Let’s call a spade a spade, this people are extorting gullible users in the name of offering a platform for entertainment
5654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Should Know Before Playing A Crypto Betting Game on: August 05, 2019, 11:55:55 AM
"REPUTABLE"

One word but does fit all the things which are the important factors when you do play into a certain site.
You can assure that they are fair, having good game and all good sorts of things.
Yeah reputation is an important thing you should look at when you want to try gambling in a site. reputation is built on the trust of players, of course it is reach because the site has a provably fair that is proven accordance with what they have say. usually gambling sites that have a long age, which have a good reputation.
You are right and to be honest, there are so many new sites that are scam sites. Still wondering how they get huge traffic on the site or what makes the players believe in them, maybe because of the improved technology on their sites but I don’t think this is enough to make anyone lose their hard earned money.

Just last week, my kid brother was also scammed of over 5btc from one of the new sites. Do I blame the site? Of course not, because I always told him never to  play on sites that are strange to the forum, this is actually the best way to avoid been duped. The OP has talked about provable fair site and old sites are the best definition of these, so simply put, only gamble with old and familiar sites.
5655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I don’t share Strategies anymore? on: August 04, 2019, 02:28:02 PM
I experienced too. When we use strategy, we need to modify the strategy in every time we play so we can have more chance to win, although it is not guaranteed to win.

I think he could still share strategy to people and don't care if the strategy will work for them or not because at least, he can teach people to make their own strategy. It will help people to understand how to make a strategy in one game. And if that people can win from his strategy, that will a big help to him as there is no same strategy that will always work in gambling.
Must we even depend on strategies made by others to win, why modify someone else’s strategy when you can think of inventing yours. This is logical and what gambling is all about, I create every damn strategy I use in my games, there are some that fails definitely but its only telling me to improve and I don’t feel hurt when that happens.

The OP is entitled to his opinion, lets him keep his strategy to himself that’s he’s damn business, it only concerns those who have interest in it for me, I am not interested. After all at the end of the day, there would always be a winner and that winner is the house , so what’s the point killing ourselves over an issue that doesn’t hold a drop of water when there are better things to be discussed.
5656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the best gambling games originally from Asia? on: August 03, 2019, 07:59:54 PM
There is a game in one part of the world near me, towards Philippines and Indonesia, if anyone heard of it, it translates to Crab. And very popular in Vietnam and China, my parents played it all the time, you guys know this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoo_Hey_How
There are so many games in this world and I want to believe the ones we never know of are more than the ones we probably have seen. This is the first time I am learning about this game and I would admit that it is definitely going to be interesting and worth playing. I think majority of us who are new generation gamblers are quite more familiar with games that deals with technology and this is the reason poker games now tops the list.

The only Asian game I had known about is cockfighting and the only reason I could know this is because of the constant topics that came out some months back concerning the game on the forum, and I am sure it would be the best game from Asian territories because it seems all gamblers from those region liked and played the game at one point in their lives.
5657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: July 30, 2019, 07:07:28 PM
I always try to get the maximum entertainment in my gambling session   so I always tend to bet at most 3% of my bankroll in a single roll. And I think the highest bankroll I have is around 1 BTC when I won a jackpot in Fortune Jack.  I did not withdraw my winnings back then but rather play another session so betting a 3% of 1 BTC, that will be 0.03 BTC and I think BTC is around 17k USD that time.  So that is $510  more or less.
Your ways of gambling are making me to wonder and definitely I am not that kind of person to risk $500 at one shot. From where you got that practice of betting 3% of your bankroll ? How often you are breaching your own limits. I am just asking these as I do hear gamblers are know for setting their own limits and restrictions and at the end of the day know for breaching those limits due to either frustrations or over excitements. Because, a gambler never stops his gambling until his bankroll runs out.

Recently I tried sportsbetting for 0.001BTC which is my maximum bet amount and its worth was around $10 by considering current value of BTC.
5658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I don’t share Strategies anymore? on: July 30, 2019, 06:33:05 PM
Strategies are made so that the person playing the gambling should win.  They are not made to make the gambling houses in. For this reason it is very much clear that a gambling houses will not develop strategies which will give them losses.
No, I have seen gambling houses also promoting innovating strategies so that they can keep their gamblers hopeful to hit and recover their money. Yes, there would not be any negative things even the gambling houses support the revolution of strategies as they are known for paralleling updating their algorithms to save their bankroll. They may lose something against any new strategy but definitely not in long run.

For sure they will bring up such strategies which will eventually fail and they (gambling casino) will win.
That is true. They need gamblers to be sticking around them hence they may do such things and those perks are even looking like in support of gamblers, in real time they are not actually in the end Sad.
5659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 30, 2019, 05:46:36 PM
Here is a detailed feature about the test championships in Cricinfo
You people notice about the point system for each test match ?
Maximum of 120 points per match if it will be a only one test match based bilateral series. If it will be a 2 test match series then 60 points for winning that only one test whereas winning a test in a 6 test match series will get that team only 20 points. I guess teams will go for one match series against weak opponents to gain easy 60 points to top the table.

I feel except the scheduled final match, nothing new here as we are already having ranking system and bilateral series are most commonly occurring for any full member country. I want a tournament like how we do ODI world cup.
5660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC Process (Sportsbook) on: July 30, 2019, 05:06:41 PM
What the heck why there's a KYC also in gambling. Is this a joke?  Lol it's very unfare to be honest what i mean. because  we all knows gambling is illegal and once goverment become interested on it for sure they can easily find us because of that stuff.  So no way much better to stay away on it for the sake of our information.
Sounds strange to you?? ol this is the new and latest trend bro. Almost all gambling sites now request for KYC. Not only is this unfair but I would say that it is terrible. A good friend of mine still has his money stuck to a site because he couldn’t meet up to the KYC process. It was not a small amount of money and according to him, he only got to know about it when it was time to withdraw .I felt really bad for him and I could just put myself in his shoes.

There are a lot of gamblers, that play from countries where gambling is declared illegal because of the ability to hide IP address and play anonymous. So what is the aim of KYC, is it to scare away this gamblers or how would they cope with this. Its absolute shit I must admit and its important for the issue to be addressed.
