6621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: March 20, 2017, 03:31:39 PM
Btcjam is an online community that allows investors and borrowers alike to build a profile and loan money or invest in other people’s ideas or projects, and the thing about this type of site that like a bank it gives you a loan for a project or a business and receive it plus any interest, for example if I invest 0.1 BTC in a project on BTCjam I would receive 0.1 BTC  plus any interest that person stated in his loan, but the thing is with BTCjam is that you have to diversify when it comes to loaning, as tempting as it can be to throw you money at someone don’t put some into higher rated loans and a few toward low rated ones, the lower the rating the more risky it is, but they also give you higher returns.
6622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Gold parity is meaningless on: March 19, 2017, 07:17:50 PM
I guess there will be no need to compare the basic units of bitcoin and gold. By exchange price bitcoin has beaten gold, that's all. It may give physiological edge for bitcoiners like now bitcoins are costlier than gold. When you talk to new people, you may say this then surely they will show surprises. I believe for bitcoiners and for media coverage it is meaningful in some sense.
6623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: March 19, 2017, 06:07:55 PM
With 1000 dollars each, it seems that bribing with bitcoin would be a good idea.  One USB stick will do the job with no third party required.

Whenever bribing via bitcoin was a good idea,  It can be use for most of the time in different forms of some illegal activities in any aspects of a business in this world. Its not because is an open source we take to use it in bad purposes, that's not right at all.
i think we should discourage every illegal activities for which people are using bitcoin. specially for such kind of activities which are creating disorder in the society.

I agree but it can also be used as a means of giving tips and appreciating what people do for us on a daily basis and that shouldn't be considered as a bribe or a bad thing.
By positive note, bitcoin is capable and flexible for anything. Getting used for bad things or being misused are the things which are beyond the control of any system. Interestingly bad people innovate things first than rest of people. So, no wonder we come across about bitcoin bribes. Like ransom ware it may become another head ache for law makers and for common people.
6624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 19, 2017, 11:32:41 AM
People that store bitcoin for fun are those who are stinkingly wealthy....... Theydont care if the value increases/decreases...

I store it for future purpose and not for fun...

You're quite right actually, I've noticed that as well. People that have been mining Bitcoin since 2010 or so have mined the coins just for testing purposes and put them somewhere for years. I am pretty sure that the people that lost their Bitcoins because they forgot where they put their wallet wasn't thinking that the price was going to get passed $1,000 per coin.

If the people want Bitcoin in the near future then I would suggest that they hold onto their wallets and not worry about it.

For me only holding them is a very boring process so I will give a try to grow them by doing trades and investments and if luck favors me then I will be growing my bitcoins in really quick time and at the same time it will give me instant profits too as holding will never grow amount of my coins.
Although as tempting as it seems to invest your bitcoin and get instant profit it comes with a lot of risks, risking either getting scammed or making the wrong decisions when investing and losing your money, saving bitcoin is boring but it is safer than investing.

For me bitcoin saving is all about being patient and selling it at the right time so I try to work and save my bitcoin sell them and then rebuy them when the price is low.
6625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 19, 2017, 10:23:29 AM
talking about our children have to be patient especially relates to money, we should speak using stories or games that indirectly are providing an understanding of bitcoin to our children, certainly in this case the child will feel happy
Explaining bitcoin to kids should be at a certain age, because of how bitcoin works and how it is being used in its current situation makes it a delicate subject even for adults.

Making kids earn their own money doing things they like is a good thing but also should be supervised, bitcoin is being used in gambling dark net for drugs and hacking and we don’t want our kids involved in those things, so we should be careful what we show them because they are the future and we want the bitcoin to be used in the future but in a good way.
6626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: March 19, 2017, 08:34:55 AM
Instead of investing in bitcoins the better option would be to invest in altcoins that is having cheap price and in that case he can accumulate high volume of coins and if price pumps then then sky would be limit of his profits depending on how high that altcoin goes.
Indeed, the best thing to do with that amount is to put it not some altcoins, because some ones have a pretty big potential to rise in the next few months, and if you look for the best ones there are ones that costs less than $50 like etherium or monero coin.

I usually do not suggest into altcoins but seeing the relatively small amount and to gain back in shorter period of time then I also believe investing into altcoins would be the right option rather than gambling or active trading options too.
6627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: March 19, 2017, 07:38:55 AM
There is no way there won't be that fear when the money is not cheap or given especaully when its funds generated as a result of hard work there will definitely be the fear what matters is that one should not allow that fear becloud judgement thereby making judgements based on subjectivity instead of objectivity and also when the money is eventually lost one should just move on as fast as possible...
And the fear should actually be there also, like you said hard earned money always feels and moreover if we don't just have the fear of loosing we would never be able to sell altcoins at their peak value since we wont worry at all and the best time would just pass out and hence selling at the dump.

Fear is something that we MUST have while that fear should not make us panic at all.
Overcoming fear is a part of making us stronger and when it comes to investing fear is understandable, because it involves risk, and if we keep being afraid of investing we will never be able of earn anything, you may not know it but you are already risking your money using bitcoin, so invest in things you are sure that want cause you to lose a lot of money and then you won’t be afraid.
6628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: March 19, 2017, 07:05:26 AM
I like some binary options trading a lot! I am learning it currently, I am only a beginner. I have to admit that it is really kinda gambling, but anyway it is very fun and you can really make some nice money from it
Damn man you are here actually gambling and it's not at all called as trading. You will win initially and at the end you will regret why you started that way, actually those binary options is a good thing to trade but without a big house edge which i am sure no sites provides Sad

And to date till now there has been no one so good at trading via binary options that they can overcome big edge like 10-15%
6629  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: March 19, 2017, 06:24:24 AM
In case of  global disaster, price of increasing a currency or commodity is less. In fact price of essentials of life such as food, grains, medicines, water, fuel (petrol, diesel) etc are far more higher. In fact if you check history, recent or old history, one point is observed commonly people cut down expenses and try to keep things as handy as possible.

Thus I don't think there is much chance of increase in bitcoin value.
Yes you have explained every bit I wanted to, though a few more to add from my side.

Actually let's consider there is a major earthquake which is a natural calamity now what would happen is people would be much more restricted to their house and actually on roads which would mean that there is a slight possibility that there are more digital transactions knowing that cash would be hard to get in those conditions.
Really hard to image, anyone up for a practical  Grin ?
6630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing/Trading Bitcoin on: March 18, 2017, 08:31:24 PM
If you are a long-terms investors I will advice you to buy an hold know as the volumes of people or traders buying now are higher than people selling! What this mean is that on the long-term bitcoin is bullish. Likewise if you are a short-terms trader than wait until market make a little deep and buy then sell at the level when it is over price. Goodluck friends.
I will support this things, this is the proper procedure actually as a traders. If you are attempting to invest into trading, It is shows that there are two kinds of trader first was Long term trading and the second is day trading.  Wink
Long term and short term trading are the tow side of the same coin, each one of them have their risks, investing long term can be safe because you wait for a long time to sell but you could miss the right time and end up losing your money, short term investing means that you sell when the price goes up a little but that could risk that you miss to make a lot of profit, the wise thing to do is to be patient and watch the market and not be afraid to take actions.
6631  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016’s top cryptocurrencies + january 2017 on: March 18, 2017, 06:59:04 PM
There are lots of good coins existing today, they aren't just getting much attention which is why you can't notice it because there were not discussed much in the forum. The community is much focused on the bigger ones which currently its value are more than $20.  ETH and DASH are the best ones to invest right now for their price hasn't yet fly up to $200 but an individual without much to invest can't afford these two anymore. Check the rest under them because those are the next ones that will also be rising. https://coinmarketcap.com/
There is no doubt about that, people have been focused too much on the bitcoin these days and forgot about the altcoins, which makes a good opportunity right now to go and grab them, because the bitcoin will eventually go down in terms of price and when that happens people are going to jump back to the altcoins and make profit from those and their price will go up.
6632  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: March 18, 2017, 06:02:19 PM
What is the best short-term (3 months or less) investment you made?

The best short term investment that I did was when I invested in Putin in yobit though I know it is only Pump and Dump I know it will pump which is I'm right its been less than two months that I got profit in putin imagine 2k plus satsoshi P and D application, and the value drop into 200 plus satoshi something like. but I earned much in Putin so much during Putin was hot in yobit.
The best short term investment for me would be peer to peer lending, like BTCjam for example it allows me to work as a bank, I give loans to people based on their trust and their project and get my money back plus the interest that the loaners stated, I like this type of investment because not only it allows me to get money in short term but also eliminates all sort of risks.
6633  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: March 18, 2017, 04:04:17 PM
There has not been a country that officially approved the use of bitcoin, the main factor because they are still using fiat money for all transactions. Bitcoin will never replace a fiat money because bitcoin is decentralized and could not be in control.
Yes exactly and why the hell do we need something to replace fiat ?

I mean bitcoins can work along with them, the main worth of bitcoins is that today you can easily exchange them for fiat and if fiat is the one that is removed then first of all can only happen in hypothetical situations since government needs funds to run and execute.
Then if even it's replaced then how the price would be determined of bitcoins ?
6634  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: March 17, 2017, 05:48:02 PM
I have save just a small amount of bitcoins ,i have sold my 2bitcoins before for emergency money,Now I want to save more bitcoins, but I do not have the extra money to buy, I only join signature campaign.
You are very lucky to save them because whenever I save my bitcoins I just find a reason to spend them like gambling or I see some good altcoin and both at the end give me loss.

I am hoping this week to get a payment from a client and if I get that I would probably save that for long time, by the way whats the best time to sell the saved bitcoins ? Any hint or expected time when the price will be on top ?
6635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 17, 2017, 01:33:01 PM
If i win big in gambling. 1st, I would definitely pay all of my depts. That why I'm here in the 1st place posting because I need to earn money to pay my depts. LoL Grin Grin. 2nd, I would invest my money and start a small business if possible, try double my money. Then I can start building my own house and my parents.  Smiley Smiley
It all seems like having a golden future once we win a "big amount" but the bitter truth is that even if we win a huge amount in gambling then we would always go for more wins. Because it's human tendency to stick with something till it works, you won't be leaving gambling unless you loose, accept it !

Moreover these plans like investing, opening casinos are good but give slow profits and you would always feel that you can win much higher with gambling itself.
6636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for dice from faucet - Non self-moderated topic. on: March 17, 2017, 09:14:10 AM
I guess I am already into this this 'working' strategy as I am using faucets for getting my entertainment from gambling. When I am just a gambling for entertainment I may get chances to make profits. It will happen very rarely, but believe my words it had happened more than five times.

Going random with faucets worked for me, still I'm not here to discourage people who are in searching for developing strategies for faucets.
I guess people are developing strategies for every type of gambling, so there will be no wonder they're working for faucets too. But I'm not sure they will be successful with their hard working. Instead of struggling to find out strategies, I like to suggest them to go gambling for free of cost with faucets and enjoy the maximum fun.
6637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whether anyone believe???? on: March 15, 2017, 07:39:17 AM
This strategy again depends upon our luck and not dealing with maximizing our chances to become winner.
Yes, there will be no possibility of a winning strategy for a luck-based the game because no strategy will push your luck to come into effect to favor you.

People are finding some strategy for the reason of they just want to stick with gambling. They will justify this way (by innovating new strategies) their actions of continuing their gambling. But unfortunately they get addicted very quickly and finding all the gambling problems.

@OP:
If you have some money which can be thrown away, just spend them into lottery. You may buy same number or different, results will not get impacted of this but only by your luck.
6638  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: March 15, 2017, 06:25:16 AM
I think that we don't need to talk about this issue here, in this thread, anymore.
There is an open Scam Accussation thread about this, so anyone who wants to share his opinion and speak his mind, can do it there.
Why not ? as long as we are concerning about bitdice we can discuss here and anywhere in this forum. Scam accusation board is to prove the case and discussing about it like showing our view on any where related to discussion will not be an offensive.

Let people show their support/view on the above incident. Anyone could summarize them where ever needed.

Finally, I also not finding any offensive on blocking a hacker's money. Hackers and scammers should not be forgiven. Punish them whenever/wherever possible.
6639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: March 14, 2017, 07:21:29 PM
There are many ways to grow our bitcoin here, there is bitcoin faucets, you can join signature campaign, you can also do some trade int the exchange sites, or you can also buy coins in the ico on which you think is potential.
Signature campaigns are not for growing your btc instead it's just a way to earn some bitcoin your task is to promote a website or service by posting here in the forum. Trading will do and don't trust easily in ico because there a lot of scam coins be careful.

Obviously signature campaigns are not the best way to earn bitcoin it's just that you get paid for promoting certain campaign and website or business the best way of earning bitcoin is by trading the bitcoin and investing into it. There are some people out her who end up winning huge amount of bitcoins in gambling but some do end up losing as well. Best way is trading
Yeah, signature campaigns are not the way that you can get a passive and a good income since they don’t pay that well for a low rank account, the only way that you can grow your btc is by working hard for them and finding jobs on the internet that you can do it so you can earn more and more.
6640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: March 14, 2017, 06:03:09 PM
I personally make money inside the Bitcoin economy, instead because of the use of its learning curve and how it incredibly responds well mixing digital / internet tactics.

There's nothing to be afraid of with entering this environment because of the benefits involved... The type of websites here predate the DotCom Bubble and I learned that as well during the height of Internet Marketing instead of using corporate programs.

These learning curves take years, but without doing one (Internet Marketing) cryptocurrency may never be opened up inside the digital world. There are prerequisites to the preferred styling and feature extension which does allow alternative uses over the one I grew with.
I really don’t think that it is  a really good idea to dump all your money into bitcoin, I know it is a good investments and so and people say that saving it is good way to make profit, but bitcoin is only fun while it lasts we don’t know what the future of it is going to be so putting too much into it is a gamble.
