This forum is really not for someone to treat as his main source of income. Having a job is really different in terms of earning and socializing in a real world. But for someone like me that has a physical condition who is not capable of working outside this forum helps me to earn some money to help pay our monthly internet bill and buy some things I want.

I live in a third world country so the amount I earn here is already enough to pay or buy the things I mentioned above.
5642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the best gambling games originally from Asia? on: August 16, 2019, 02:12:22 PM
Cock fighting is one of the famous gambling game at Asia. Here in the Philippines they even have cock-fighting pits where cock breeders and betters go when a cock-fighting event will happen. Some rich people even bet $1k just for that event and breeders also spend tons of money to raise their fighters well.
5643  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Question about Bittrex Exchange on: August 16, 2019, 02:49:32 AM
OP, after you verified your account and got your money out, ask them to delete your KYC data. I've read that especially if you're from europe (EU), they probably will have to adhere your request (due to GPDR (?)).
Not that i'd verify the account for 150$ in the first place, because really, Bittrex and Poloniex are untrustworthy in my book.

Is that even possible? Will they really delete my data? I live in the South East Asia.

You'll have to decide whether or not it is worth it for you, but I wouldn't be sending my documents to a faceless stranger at a company with unknown security practices for $150.

I'm really planning to complete identity verification because I really need some money now. But if they ask more documents other than what they want on verification procedure then I won't continue.
5644  Economy / Exchanges / Question about Bittrex Exchange on: August 15, 2019, 02:35:45 PM
I have a bittrex account created few years ago. I just opened it yesterday after a year and I found out that I still have 0.014 btc there. I want to withdraw it but my account was disabled for some reason and it asks me to complete identity verification.

Now the problem is I didn't use my real name when I created that account and it's not allowed to change it. Will I succeed in identity verification if I submit an ID and selfie even if my profile info is not the same on the ID?

It's really a waste for a 0.014 btc or $150 just to be stuck on there.
5645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 15, 2019, 12:19:00 PM
There are some people who are doing gambling as a profession already although I don't know some of them Cheesy.

Maybe for them, they see gambling as another source of income of another kind of job so they spend most of their time and money gambling. I don't blame them but this is very risky because gambling is a 90% luck with 10% strategy. This gamblers might have another source of income too and that is where they get the money they use to gamble.

If you treat gambling as your profession, you are treating it like your job, and you will ensure you will be profitable as that is your main source of income.
Of course there are people who makes money with gambling consistently, but it's true that we don't know who they are personally but we can search them online.

These are the names of famous people in sports betting, that pretty confirms there are few who make a living.

Those are not just ordinary people. They are professionals in some field where they also make a lot of money. They love gambling and aren't afraid to risk huge amount of money because they can quickly earn it.
5646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 15, 2019, 09:28:31 AM
My biggest bet was $50 in a sportsbetting site. It may be small to others but in our country you can already buy some grocery with it. I was having winning streaks that time and for the last game I bet, I went all-in. I thought my luck was still on my side that time but after the game I lose. I wasn't able to sleep that night because I'm still a student that time and the money I bet was my savings from my allowance.
5647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your email security best practice? on: August 15, 2019, 02:28:14 AM
[5] Password Manager - There's a lot of free password manager out there, so I advise others to try it as well.

Never heard of this. How does this function? What I do is store them to a word document, compressed it as a password protected file then make multiple backups to my devices. If possible I hide it like on my pc.

As long as you enabled 2fa, your email is safe even if you login to different devices. I have emails that was created 2 years ago and I've never change its password but still it wasn't hacked or someone attempt to hack it. I just don't connect my device to public wifi's as I don't feel safe.
5648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 14, 2019, 02:36:48 PM
I am not that big fan of lotteries because I know chances of winning in gambling for me would little better than those winning in the lotteries and better I can try my luck in the gambling where I enjoy the game and the atmosphere as well. And even if I do not win anything atelast I had enjoyed the moment in the casinos with some beverages and it is worth it than playing the lotteries for me.

Lotteries is for people who are busy but still want to gamble hoping it will change their future. My grandfather tried his luck on the lottery everyday for many years but he never win the jackpot. He only won once a consolation prize where he guessed 3 out of 6 numbers. As I can see on my grandfather, some people also enjoy betting on lotteries.
5649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 14, 2019, 11:55:10 AM
Seeing my winnings and still want to get another win and at the end end up losing all my gains to the gambling platform. This has happened several time to me and made me to regret why am not obeying my instinct. This action at a time cost me almost my savings for 3Months and still fill the pains till now.

Greediness will always end up you to lose all you've gain. The question now is did you learn from that mistake or you want to gamble again to recover that loss. If you want to gamble for profit, the moment you earn some profit you start to withdraw it and stop thinking you'll win more if you continue.
5650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is your worst crypto casino experience? on: August 14, 2019, 10:22:36 AM
Lose my 0.015 profit with only 0.002 capital from a sportsbetting site. I was really lucky that time because I was just betting on basketball and volleyball to whom would win and have lower odds. Luckily I win consecutively until I reached that profit. On the last game I bet, I went all-in then after a minute it just disappeared like nothing happened because the team I put my bet lose.
5651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: August 13, 2019, 01:52:06 PM
I think it wasn’t defeat is what we need to accept but just a losing streak.whe you talk about defeat that means it’s a total failure but in gambling we only need to control our self everytime we are not i a good luck,we need to just stop and go home ,make yourself calm and have a rest

That is what op means by the word defeat. He didn't say defeat in real life, he meant that if you want to win in gambling you must accept your mistake when you get greedy during winning streaks then learn from it.

Comeback when you feel like you have a good mood and confidence to play again.from this point we may win or atleast save some money in risking without winning consecutively

Your mood doesn't help you to win, it's all based on your luck. You only win if you are able to control your emotion and stop playing when you've gain some profit.
5652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 13, 2019, 10:46:41 AM
Definitely a lot of professional gamblers they treat  gambling as job and profession, remember during I am working in the pawnshop one of my customers pawn their gold if he lose in the casino and gross again if he got win again vice versa. Their lives cycle is to play gambling and he treat gambling as job and source source of income but he have an greed selfcontrol as prossional gambler.

He is a big risk taker if he pawns his belongings just to gamble. What if he still lose after he pawned that gold? To be a professional gambler for me is to have a huge amount of money to use in gambling. You test all the possible techniques to win the game. And use a technique that has higher chance to win.
5653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 12, 2019, 02:15:34 PM
No, to win big is to bet big. I am not brave enough to risk huge amount of money to something that purely depends on luck. I don't even expect to win in gambling, I just enjoy when I play and thank the rng system if I win.
5654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: August 12, 2019, 12:44:04 PM
Some example, you deposit 100 USD, you use martingale method to gain at least 1 dollar (1%) and you stop, and do the same the day after

This is just a random example I made right now, but I want to see if there's someone who try to use a strategy to gain very small profits daily instead of trying with big bets

And guys, I know there's no 100% strategy, it's just curiosity

Their is not such a strategy that would give you profits.
The more you gamble the more you are going to lose. So if you try to hit small winnings every day the bad thing that you do is that you gamble in a lot of bet which decrease your possibility of making profits.

To make it short, gambling is really not meant to earn profit. It's only for entertainment. People just find a way to earn profit from it because it is easier in gambling. They don't realize that it is based on luck and strategies doesn't work on it.
5655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dice - why do you play in a particular casino? on: August 11, 2019, 08:50:59 AM
Hello,

What are the factors that make you play in a particular casino? What are the most important things for you?

There's a lot of Dice sites out there; I was wondering recently what makes some of them much more successful than the others. What are your thoughts on that?

Popularity is the one that makes a gambling website successful. If people hear a good review of that website and the owner of that website manages its player well through events and make sure their funds are secured then people will keep coming back to that website. Same like a product you buy, even if there are many brands that is even cheaper you still buy the one that is popular.
5656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you received Bitcoin from this wallet on: August 11, 2019, 02:37:39 AM
Ok you are an old member of this forum and you have staked your address, so you can recover it in case your account was hacked.

and you also did a KYC from airdrops, bounty campaigns, and various exchanges.

And on all these activities, you'll only use one address

Then one day you woke up and found out you received 10000 Bitcoin

from a wallet coming from one hacker's wallet who just hacked one big exchange..

And so many people know who you are where you are located and your status in life
because you are using only one address...

So what do you think will happen to you now..

This might very fictional but the possibility is there.

What I'm trying to emphasize is to avoid KYC and using only one address.

If my privacy and security is compromise then I have no choice but to surrender that amount of bitcoin. If I'm accussed for something I haven't done, I would not risk myself in danger to the authorities.

Imagine a life of having that amount of bitcoin but you can't even spend it because it was stolen by someome and you need to hide because you were held responsible for it.
5657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 10, 2019, 01:36:25 PM
Lotteries in my opinion have low chance of making someone addicted to it. Because of its "almost impossible" chance of winning makes people not focus their money to it. Personally I would choose betting on a lottery other than gambling games because it doesn't take much time. In the end all of them is based on luck, lotteries just offers a bigger jackpot if you're the lucky person to win.
5658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Gambling and e-sports? on: August 10, 2019, 12:01:09 PM
Esports is a fast growing industry in our current generation. As a gamer myself, I'm proud that it become acknowledge as a type of sport. On the gambling side, it would always be there as people always finds a way to earn money from something. Now some sportsbetting sites offer that service where people can bet on their favorite team or player just like a normal sport.
5659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 10, 2019, 09:55:01 AM
Mine was 7 using martingale strategy, I was betting that time only 1 satoshi seeing how continuously it will hit winning streaks, biggest bet I used was 10k satoshi. It gived me 0.002 profit way back then but as usual I ended up losing it because I can't control my emotion.
