OP's question is pretty interesting, I'd also like to know if I could get in any legal trouble for , say, using an fraudulent Amazon gift card to order something that's then sent to my address. I mean, is it my responsibility to know if I'm buying a legitimate gift card or one that was obtained illegally?
I'm no legal expert, but if you are in possession of stolen goods, you can get in trouble. Do you really think the cops will give you the benefit of the doubt? No they will tell you they were obtained fraudulently, and probably nail you with something or other. No, I haven't heard of anyone actually gettinng in trouble for using these, but its common sense. Anyone selling 1000's of dollars worth of gc's for pennies on the dollar is NOT getting them legitimately. I don't think that's actually your responsability, how are you supposed to know if the person selling them has obtained them through fraudulent means. Plus, I didn't say that I was talking about gift cards that sell for 50 - 75% of the value.

I'd be interested depending on the price, though I recon it would be cheaper than a silver coin of similar size, right? Cool idea for sure, I think there would be interest in something like this.

At first I thought this was an auction site, due to the name you chose of course. (resembles Ebay) And your FAQ is completely blank, no return policy and not even a mention to which countries you're shipping.
This needs some work.

Wow you have certainly put quite a bit of effort into this project, awesome that you're just releasing it for free. The though of running my own dice website never crossed my mind tbh, but I will have a go at it with this though.

I am interested in this industry and I would like to ask you how do you cope with bad buyers? I know that the vast majority of you have experience with those kind of people.
I've wondered the same thing. Say you are a relatively new seller and the biuet wants to use escrow. Then you ship something out, but they claim there is an issue, or damaged product or something. Assuming you have a good escrow, is it just up to them to use their best judgemt in deciding who gets what? Well yeah thats the risk of it that will always exist. Or you could just use the option of recording everything like I said before. I haven't seen many people do these kinds of things, but if they do so as buyers, it will likely happen again in the future and will be bad for themselves in the future for any trades. The seller in this case would just lose one trade on the whole. But if its a sale for a single expensive item, then selling as a new person could ship it to an escrow or another person for verification before. Yeah, luckily most of the scammers on here are easy enough to spot, and usually they are the ones trying to "sell" say they cant use escrow. Also, the "dropshippers" usually turn out to be scamming. It's not too hard to tell on here. There is just something inherently funny about a newbie member trying to scam someone while he has like 2 or 3 posts and his topic is full of spelling/grammar mistakes. But I'm sure there are also people who are oblivious enough to fall for something like that.

1000....yeah...for sure ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) i read so many news where companies announced that and it never happend. even 10 atms would be good for greece. Yeah I was thinking the same thing, 1000 ATM's would be a pretty significant investment, I want to see it before I believe it.

I have couple of more questions about Virwox , I got an answer last time saying that Ishould deposit using PayPal or Skrill on Virwox so the counter of leveling UP will start working , who could confirm this ? I also want to know about Skrill mostly on Virwox ,so this counter start to work and see how old your account is to level up ... what is the minimum deposit that you should do ? Also do I need to have verified Skrill account ? or I can deposit even if it's not verified with Cc or bank account. ty
Yeah this is indeed the case, I can't confirm for Skrill, but with Paypal I'm leveling up steadily. The account level is determined by the number of days since your first successful deposit using PayPal or Skrill Here is the information you're looking for btw: https://www.virwox.com/help.php#_Levels_and_LimitsYes I read that article on their website the other day but it dosen't say how much the minimum so they start counting , I mean can you deposit only 1$ and it will start counting normally from that day and you will updgrade with time simply ? They require a minimum deposit of 2 euro, which I though was a lot higher in the past if I'm not mistaken. I do remember leveling up pretty fast without depositing a whole bunch. (something like 2 x 20 euro in a week)

Yeah this is indeed the case, I can't confirm for Skrill since I haven't used yet on Virwox, but with Paypal I'm leveling up steadily, but I'm 99% sure that Skrill will work just fine too. The saddest thing is, we dont have any idea who satoshi nakamoto is. We couldnt give an appreciation for his working and efforts to develop bitcoin directly as long as his true identity isnt be revealed. But, if he really chose his way to hide, he still be a hero, which he has been 'robin hood' for our life ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It really is sad. I actually wanted him to actually post on this forum, but as his account is locked, there is nothing we can do. Does anyone know why exactly his account is locked? I would assume the mods would just give him his account back if he ever contacted them.. And I don't know if Satoshi will be the next Van Gogh, I hope that we will eventually know his true identity, though I highly doubt it.

I've always been perfectly content using Kraken, the one time I had a problem with a deposit not coming through, they replied and fixed it after an hour. Their fees are also pretty decent.

Yeah it would be good practice for everyone to just use escrow for every transaction. But wouldn't there be times when there just isn't anyone available willing to provide escrow services?

It's just simple, buy double the amount you have brought initially to reduce the losses and make a profit if odds are with you. There's a saying that everything that goes up always comes down and vice versa is also true.
Some call this strategy "martingale" (in respect to trading). It is one of the best (if not the best) ways to lose money. And not only at gambling. You never know when and where the price will hit the bottom... Since if you did, you wouldn't rely on this strategy in the first place Yeah I'm always baffled when I hear people say that they've found a '100% safe betting/trading system' and then it turns out to be a martingale. :') Would only work if you had infinite amounts of money, and even then, you could theoretically get stuck in a losing streak for eternity ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I think it's too risky to run a typical faucets nowadays. Well, I mean... it is hard to calculate the amount of Bitcoin you're giving out and what you're earning for ads. Thus, I created BitRevenues. A service which share it revenues to its users. I will be earning at least 0.01 BTC every time a round ended. There's no need to do mass calculation to find out if you get a profit. You just need to predict when will a round end and minus it from the hosting and domain fees - the result is your profit. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . I wouldn't say running a faucet is risky, the initial investment you'd have to make to have one up and running is actually pretty low, if you could build the faucet yourself. Well. I agree that the initial investment we have to make is very low. However, the problem is the calculation part. Whereas, you need to calculate every now a then so as to make sure you will not give out more satoshi than you make. This is easy, just put all the giveaways in a database en sum them up month by month and compare them with your add income ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yeah this is how I had planned to do it. Do you have any idea of the popularity of faucets nowadays? I have no idea, that is why i want to try it myself someday, to many projects =] Yeah same here, this seemed like something I could get done quickly, but the more I look into it, the more time I reckon I need ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Where is more profitable to buy Bitcoin
Depends what you're looking for, if time is not an issue, I'd suggest purchasing Bitcoin through an established exchange like Kraken
|
|
|
Yeah I've been using Kraken since I've been introduced to bitcoin and they have pretty low fees indeed. Can't complain about their service.
|
|
|
Yeah, I've been buying little bits of gold for about 2 years now with Bitcoin. I'm actually thinking of making a rather large purchase now that the price has dropped.
