5661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 09, 2019, 11:35:41 PM

Btw guys, who do you think it's going to get sacked first? Poch or Emery? I say kick 'em both. Look at what Bayern did a few days ago, they sacked Kovac even though the team was 4th in the league table and group leaders in the CL, that's what a team with a winning mentality does.

Crazy how some fans are still backing Poch because "he did so much for the clun over the past few years", some are even saying that what's happening now is not his fault (first stage: denial LOL). They're gonna keep saying that even after the team gets relegated to 2nd division. And Arsenal, #EmeryOut is trending worldwide, the board can't keep turning a blind eye, he needs to go and they better find a replacement asap. Allegri when?

I would say Emery. I highly doubt that Spurs board will sack Pochetino. I've never been fan of Pochetino and I think he is overhyped coach. In all these years in Spurs he haven't won even single trophy. They had some good achievements, 2nd place in EPL, 2nd in Champions league. But just remember how many times they have failed in crucial matches...

Strange that not more talk here about:

https://faucethub.io/news/post/211
Damn, I haven't visited Faucethub recently, so I missed these news. It's very sad to see it. Faucethub did great things in these few years in business and it turned into best faucet microwallet service. And I only can say thank you mexicantarget for it. But these news shows sad current situation of faucets, it's not as good as it was few years ago. It's just interesting will new alternative microwallet service will appear or closure of Faucethub means end of faucet era.
5663  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vodds balantant theft of a large sum of money(deposited) on: November 08, 2019, 10:49:19 PM
Are you talking about Vodds.com? Because I didn't knew this service and it's first website which I found in Google search results.
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I see that Vodds have their ANN topic here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5108495.0
Maybe try posting your issue there or on other their social media channels. Maybe some bad publicity will force them to react to your issue.
5664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 08, 2019, 10:38:10 PM
Anyways, Real Sociedad are playing tomorrow against the last team in the league table (Leganes), and I think i'll go with Sociedad ML in a 3-team parlay tomorrow (maybe with Sassuolo and Hoffenheim). Or maybe Leganes will give us a nice surprise?  Lips sealed
So, this game ended with a draw what is big surprise IMO, knowing how terrible Leganes were playing away.
It's obvious that Sociedad aren't going to compete with Barca, Real and Atletico, but despite this result, I think that they can reach top 4 at the end of season which would give them chance to play in Champions league.
5665  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jack Ma career advice: You don’t have to be smart to be successful on: November 08, 2019, 10:30:41 PM
Jack Ma is one of the main businessmans who supports 996 hours working system. People have to work from 9AM to 9PM 6 days a week - it's slavery in XXI century IMO... His thoughts about it:
Quote
I personally think that being able to work 996 is a huge blessing," he said in remarks posted on the company's WeChat account.

"Many companies and many people don't have the opportunity to work 996," Ma said. "If you don't work 996 when you are young, when can you ever work 996?"
Source http://news.trust.org/item/20190412111809-pqgy8
Maybe you don't have to be extremely smart to become successful. There is mixture of things needed - creativity, hard work, some luck. And as you see from link above, you also have to make harsh decisions which sometimes overstep borders...
5666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hardware wallet for $5 - Don't be fooled! on: November 07, 2019, 09:01:53 PM
It's common thing on Chinese online shops, not only when it comes to crypto. If something extremely cheap there, don't even try to order. 99.9% that it will be fake, not working item or something what you didn't odered. But it's good thing that you can open dispute and return your money.
Edit: Nevermind, looks like there is a minimum order buy of 50 units. Definitely won't be doing that.
Yes, because Alibaba is wholesale store for business and you can't buy small number of items there. But probably there is some sellers of fake hardware wallets on Aliexpress too. And yeah, it's very likely that you will get only empty boxes if you will order it.
5667  Other / Meta / Re: [CONTEST] Design the 10 years of Bitcointalk commemorative Coldkey ($500+ prize) on: November 07, 2019, 08:41:31 PM
Thank you @yogg for making this contest. It's great way to celebrate 10th birthday of Bitcointalk.
I see that there is already some nice designs made by participants. But I won't participate in it because I don't have any good ideas how it should look and no knowledge how to make it.
So, I just wish good look to all participants and let the best one win!
5668  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: November 07, 2019, 08:17:09 PM
So, does it means that Yobit don't have enough money to pay to so many participants.
It's good change, but I think it's easy to make more than 5 posts without spamming. What if some users will do that? Will they get ban or they simply won't get paid for extra posts?
im glad they banning me because of spamming, i cant even transfer my past balance to wallet
goodbye ! thanks for 8 day with you Yahoo!
You needed to have more patience until Yobit will refill their signature campaign wallet. But now it doesn't matter, because you wont get what you earned by spamming.
5669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: November 07, 2019, 08:09:48 PM
Guys, what's up with karma and Dinamo Zagreb? I don't know enough about Croatia football, so can you tell us more about their sins? Is it something related with shady things that Mamic was doing?

Damn, I'm doing so bad in CL pool, I dropped to 14 place. Probably it's time to focus on EPL pool...
5670  Other / Meta / Re: How did you chosen ₿itcointalk username at the beginning of registrations? on: November 07, 2019, 06:05:34 PM
Interesting question. When I joined Bitcointalk, I was struggling to choose my username. I wanted to have cool username which would be easy to remember. But I didn't wanted to use my nickname which I use on other forums, because I wanted some privacy and I wanted to separate my crypto activities from my other hobbies.
I decided to use "LTU", what is abbrevation of my country Lithuania. I wanted to show that there is some crypto enthusiasts from my country. And then I just added "btc" to my nickname. But some people here call me just LTU. I don't use this username anywhere else, except few other crypto forums.
But if I would sign up on Bitcointalk now, I'm not sure that I would pick same nickname.
5671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 06, 2019, 10:21:24 PM
This matchday isn't such exciting as it was yesterday :/
Yesterday we had Dortmund and their great comeback. Today we had Dinamo vs Shaktar. I'd say we're even  Wink
Yeah, actually I wrote this sentence before Shakhtar comeback happened Cheesy. And you forgot to mention Chelsea comeback yesterday Cheesy.
5672  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any reliable alternate for preev.com available on: November 06, 2019, 10:18:41 PM
Honestly, probably I have never used Preev for other currencies than Bitcoin. When I need to convert other cryptocurrencies, I simply enter something like "Monero to EUR" or similar on Google and go to first website shown in search results.
I tried to look for Preev alternatives for altcoins, but failed  to find. From what I saw, I haven't found website which would be convenient as Preev, with basic design, not many ads and other uneccessary stuff.
5673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 06, 2019, 09:59:46 PM
This matchday isn't such exciting as it was yesterday :/
City played 1:1 with Atalanta. It's unexpected, but probably City weren't very motivated when they almost have spot in next round and very big game weekend.
Real 6:0 Galatasaray. Real is back on track but Galatasaray isn't CL level team.
What a crazy match between Dinamo Zagreb and Shakhtar. Dinamo were better and were leading 3:1 and then Shakhtar made amazing comeback. Moraes goal in extra time and penalty. FT 3:3. Everything is still possible for both teams.
Bayer 2:1 Atletico. Didn't saw match, but seems it was close game.
5674  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos - how about verifying for Brave/BAT? Easy extra revenue. on: November 06, 2019, 09:39:06 PM
It wouldn't be so bad idea, if not KYC. I have no idea how much BAT Bitcointalk would be able to make, but probably it wouldn't be worth theymos to sell his personal data for it. We all know theymos views about KYC Smiley. Some people above are saying that Brave is shady company, well I don't know enough about them to avree or disagree. But there is no fire without smoke.
And if theymos would want to make more revenue from Bitcointalk, he simply would add more add slots or increase price of it, add more paid memberships like Copper instead of using third part altcoin project with KYC requirements.
5675  Other / Meta / Re: Is it legal to send messages to bitcointalk users? on: November 06, 2019, 09:22:57 PM
So, as you see above, rules don't allow such messages. And I want to say that's not good from marketing perspective. People don't like to get such spam. Some of them will simply report your messages as unsolicited PM spam and you will get banned. And it's not best way to promote your message. I don't use services which spam my inbox and PM's without my permission because it's so annoying. I think that not only I have such views.
Better try to promote your business in proper way - start your ANN topic here on Bitcointalk, it doesn't cost anything. If you have money for marketing, you can advertise on crypto related websites or you can buy ad slot here on Bitcointalk.
5676  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: November 06, 2019, 07:22:13 PM
I probably wouldn't blame the members who posted after the thread got bumped, because they might not have noticed what the date was in the OP.  I've done that quite a few times by accident, and it's a mistake anyone can make--so IMO the blame falls squarely on the person who actually bumped the thread.

I don't agree with you. It's their fault that they haven't checked the date. Most of these users just came to that thread to leave generic reply in order to reach their post quota and they didn't had intentions to make contribution. Though it's not worst example that we can find. It's not half year old topic which was inactive for few years. I'm not sure that all these users who posted after necrobump deserved to get banned. I haven't checked their post history, but if they posted in such topics just few times, it would be to strict penalty to ban them from campaign.
5677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 05, 2019, 10:19:19 PM
Damn, indeed, what night in Champions league. It reminds me crazy playoffs in previous season.
When Ajax were leading 4:1, I thought that everything is finished here. But then happened something what I didn't saw for a long time - two players got red cards during same attack. Considering that Ajax ended game only with 9 man, draw isn't worst result.
I'm disappointed about Napoli draw, cuz I lost bet, but at least Valencia win covered this loss.
Liverpool performance wasn't best, but win is win. Probably players thought were on Sunday clash with City already.
5678  Economy / Digital goods / Re: MERIT to you post service on: November 05, 2019, 10:00:46 PM
First, I doubt you have available merits to send. You're probably same kind of people like account sellers who selling Bitcointalk accounts without having it.
And how desperate people should be to buy merits. Is it really so difficult to make some quality posts to get? Ok, maybe you can buy something like 10 merits. But if you will want to farm your account up to Full Member at least, it will very expensive. And more merit you will buy - it's more chance that you will be caught, especially if you're spammer.
5679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 05, 2019, 09:35:23 PM
Holly shit, what's going on in Chelsea - Ajax game! It's 4:4. Just some minutes ago it was 1:4 and then Chelsea made incredible comeback. Two central defenders got red cards at the same time. And game didn't even ended yet, 15 minutes left.
Borussia also making amazing things. It was 0:2 and now they are leading 3:2! Incredible game.
EDIT Chelsea 5:4 Ajax. Fucking insane!
EDIT 2. No goal after VAR, it's handball. 4:4.
5680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 05, 2019, 08:27:54 PM
Another disappointing performance from Barca. They played like 0:0 is good score for them. I don't know what more should happen to sack Valverde... While Slavia had another very solid game.
Chelsea - Ajax, very fun game so far. 2 goals just in 5 first minutes and later Promes scored another goal for Ajax.
Inter scored early goal against Borussia and it was brilliant.
