Watch  Zoomhash they allways seems to get stock of any new miners all most the same day there released.

http://zoomhash.com/

yeah alibaba also seems to get this stuff up..over priced...but at least you can tell if the stuff exists then (hopefully alibaba may have a lot of scam sales)

but good point on zoomhash forgot about that

someone said these guys take paypal ..have not looked into such...but another maybe option in that they got sfards stuff first I think

Still no updates on pricing and availability? I got the mining itch needing some new kick ass hardware to fill it

I got an email saying not yet. My expectation the units will go out to the 'bulk' purchasers in probably (my guess) August. This was the over $100k orders min.
Thus you MIGHT see these units to us as individuals sometime in Sept. I also think they will be 4k at least or more now with the BTC and LTC price hikes.

Probably way to 'rich for me' at 14c kwh electric. Also not a big fan of 4k out for a 90 day warranty when all ASIC equipment I know about took about 3 months
to 'kinda' get a working firmware with various pools etc. One big paper weight if their 14nm chips and/or equip does not work well after 90 days. Again imho.
5663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: June 06, 2016, 01:04:14 PM
I am still believing in lisk to jump again.. but looks like this project is abandon by devs.. so expecting for price reduce. im still waiting for rise again.. and maybe i can all my lisk again for a better price..

Lol lol lol lol lol dude you made me laugh, thank you for that. lol lol lol rofl lol.

Heh 1 btc at 10% bonus and a btc price of 415 usd.

Current worth use $2,915.81

Yeah quite the mistake 😄

Have a buddy I've not heard from who has put in the lisk ico at 25% bonus I
Think it was of 27 btc.  Hmmmmm. I fear he may have died from too much happiness

I need to make more of these mistakes by golly 🌈

Approaching 600$ and happily testing it: a good case for a Monday.
Guys please stop feeding the troll and let's go back to business.

Interesting trading day ahead  Grin

You're right.Sorry for that.But sometimes....aarrgg!!
I guess you know what I mean!
And yes this is a good start into a new week.Next days might become very interesting.
$600 could be possible within the next days.

All I know is 'very interesting indeed" if say BTC was to hit the ATH again of around $1,100 dollars Say within the next 4-6 weeks.

 Bitcoin holders/The Press/The Chinese Gov't/ well hell

everyone would just 'lose their frigging minds' at that point imho......FUD/FOMO/Regulate BTC/Unregulate BTC much noise/lamenting/boasting etc etc

It would be 'quite' interesting indeed..toss in Seg Witness hitting/the block halving/ethereum/lisk into this mix and a big spike in BTC transactions and THEN we'd have  a party Smiley

5665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 05, 2016, 12:53:25 PM

Found this article and translated it (kinda) with google translate. I did not realize that KNC managed to get 250 million bucks for an investment on their now defunct company. I mean really 1/4 of a Billion Bucks!! Sheesh. (Evil: We do it well.) (tm KNC)

More likely Kroner, not USD. That would be ~ 30M USD

I like that better. Much less they got away with.

5666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CUSTOM KNC TITAN FIRMWARE! based off KNC's v2.00 on: June 05, 2016, 08:48:43 AM
interesting, I'm running with the 5.1.0 in your latest firmware, wondering if there are any benefits of updating to 5.4.2 with the titan.
did you notice any difference running the new version GenTarkin?

Heck I've not run

sudo apt get update

sudo apt get upgrade

anyone ever bother to do that even? (no clue...My knc Titan's are 'evil' I touch them when gen tarkin says to ..otherwise I try to avoid direct eye contact or they will likely
brick themselves out of spite. Just saying.

5668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk<< Have You made Profit from it? on: June 04, 2016, 10:50:47 AM
Not sure if this is how you want to look at it. This is current 'paper' profits.

But 1 BTC worth at the 10% buy in (around $415 usd per BTC I think it was) comes out to 6,039 Lisk.

coingekko price page for lisk to usd

https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/lisk/usd

That times the current price on coingekko gives me this price for 1 lisk   0.44432332 usd x 6,039 is $2683.27 usd

Thus $2,683.27 divided by current BTC price of $580 that is $2683.27 is 4.626 btc

so anyway ....on "PAPER" it looks nice..I'm a holding we will see Smiley

5669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 04, 2016, 10:43:17 AM
It's imminent the next arrival to $600. The poll shows that most bitcoiners expect an increase to $1000 at the end of this month, and perhaps it's a good time to become optimistic despite my usual skepticism.  Grin

you know, when people are out on the streets happily roaming about wearing sunglasses and flipflops because the sky is blue, it can be hard to imagine rainfall and cold air.

EDIT: I read a lot of "I'm all in", "finally bought back today" comments here. That makes me think we could well have a sizable correction this weekend.

On the other hand: mass-media hype has just started. There's a huge delay for "normal folk" to "get in". Could have more legs, too.

Maybe both.

Where is the media hype? I don't watch TV so I legitimately don't know and would appreciate examples.

By the way, I saw this today: https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/JRCAC2XU-Predictive-Analysis-of-the-Next-Megabull-Cycle-To-the-Moon/
Bitcoin itself isn't in the mainstream news but sometimes you see something about "blockchain" and how some bankers and tech companies are integrating Ethereum or blockchain. Also if you do a search for Bitcoin news, you always see all these unanimously positive-sounding news articles about bankers, wall street, tech companies, investments, deals, and such.

Mainstream press only really covers bitcoin if it crashes and burns/ dev fights/ etc....they otherwise ignore it when the price pumps..figuring some new drama or FUD will come along and drive the price down (hey they may be on to something) .....bitcoin the Mexican soap opera of crypto Smiley

5670  Economy / Speculation / Re: U$9B Market Cap here we come [again]! on: June 04, 2016, 07:09:50 AM
Next milestone - U$10B. I give it less than a week.

Zoom. Zoom. Zoom. ( On Oct 8th 2013 got my newbie KNC 550gh Jupiter BTC miner. ROI'd in like 3 weeks and the price was over 1,000 usd
in 6 weeks. I want to see that kinda action again. AS A NEWBIE at the time that seemed the 'proper' speed imho Smiley

5671  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: June 04, 2016, 07:00:32 AM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?

No idea I'd be having so much fun with the 'trophy wife' and the yacht....would not know till the end of the month when my
CPA would inform me of my growing wealth.

(Never could figure that out ..but seems you get a couple million dollars and suddenly you are MUCH more attractive...go figure?) Smiley

5672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 04, 2016, 06:55:53 AM
This entire forum is utterly and thoroughly unreadable third world nonsense broken english gibberish

They spam their bullshit broken english to make a dollar a week from their sig campaign, and couldn't give a flying fuck about Bitcoin.

This is the only semi-readable thread on this entire forum.

And reddit, is well reddit.  A gigantic shithole.  When will there be a decent forum for bitcoiners?

Do you own any btc or meths?
I place my bet on meths

lol

I got a coin or two

https://imgur.com/xtctj1i

I'd gladly give away half these coins to watch every signature spam poster including Theymos get gassed.

p.s. that's an old pic I got a lot more bitcoins now.

HEY! I resemble that remark. Smiley

On a side note being a newbie in 2013 and watching BTC go from 150 on OCT 8th 2013 when I started my KNC Jupiter 550gh up to over 1000 bucks like 6-8 weeks later..(I think I ROI'd in 6 weeks? ......man that was the way this was 'supposed' to work by golly.

Such a happy newbie I was Smiley But if BTC can go irrationally down on FUD etc from the ATH the last few years...human
nature being what it is ..it SHOULD DANG IT go up for no particular reason 50% of the time on the flip side...or so it seems to me.

Would be nice to visit 1,000 usd again before NEW fud happens in BTC land due to the 'corruption' of money Sad

We will see. Smiley

5673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats with the trend and 18% plus LTC difficulty drop? on: June 03, 2016, 05:13:55 PM
I think scrypt miners have switched to mining Ether, and that's the reason for the drop... Once Ether goes POS, the scrypt miners will return to LTC

But I thought gpu miners were worthless on scrypt now due to ASICs the past year or so.

No idea. Just not gradual. All at one time blamo 19% dump
5674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats with the trend and 18% plus LTC difficulty drop? on: June 03, 2016, 03:36:41 PM
Not a chance it has much to do with Eth mining since Scrypt ASICs can't be used. Likely it will be back to normal soon just like it has every time there was a similar drop in litecoins history.

That was paycoin mining to prime their network for 2 weeks.  Or one such drop was

5675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats with the trend and 18% plus LTC difficulty drop? on: June 03, 2016, 03:35:09 PM
But surely the fact that Eth mining difficulty is going us fast, could explain why LTC difficulty is falling.
LTC has also not been pumped and has actually got negative press recently, whilst the whole blockchain press has been going on (coinbase said it was a copy-me coin)

If you believe in LTC (I don't) then enjoy the easy mining!  I fear it will keep getting easier.

No one with gpu has mined ltc for months. Does not apply imho. KNC farm maybe went down
They lied about much likely a Titan farm
5676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats with the trend and 18% plus LTC difficulty drop? on: June 03, 2016, 01:28:21 PM

Just wondering I see a drop on difficulty for litecoin down to 18.56% and 1.6 days to go.

The current network is 1095gh. As an example when I turned on my 1st KNC Titan in Nov 8th 2014, the difficulty was 1169gh.

I mean I like it but wth?

Maybe some big miner has turned off all his A2 scrypt miners and is replacing them with the new A4's ....

others ideas on what is up? Post them here. I sure did not get the memo on what is up on this

Moved to ETH - more profitable?

No issue with that if I had to start from scratch. But KNC Titans roi'd a whiie ago.

I have read that ethereum difficulty is going up so fast it may not be worth it anymore. Any truth to that?
2x the cash. With ltc diff drop of 19% and price pump since. I'd say maybe now ethereum is much less then 2x the dough. Others can work this calc out

So if you have gpu's or Titans you are golden. Starting from scratch with either in a big way is risky imho.
When I ran figures a month ago a gpu cost 1/2 a Titan cube and made 2x the cash. Now with ltc price pump.
And the 19% ltc difficulty dump. It is likely not real big diff anymore. But then agiain you can use/sell gpu's for
Other stuff
5677  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Community Miner Design Discussion on: June 03, 2016, 07:39:12 AM
Your pleas will fall on deaf ears, as this is primarily my project and I've never cared about scrypt ASICs. Maybe someone will extend it someday, but I'm really only interested in SHA256 miners.

Too bad....because scrypt miners are just killing it on LTC right now.....(19 months with Titans and still making bucko bucks)

then again...all asic's will be 'doorstops's eventually don't ya know so maybe it don't matter hobby project wise.

That's only because NO ONE HAS MADE ANOTHER MINER to compete with yours, unlike in BTCland(where even the makers compete with customers) !!!! Be grateful !!!!

Personally I think Bitmain(& Avalon) is the last hoorah for home miners,Bitfury will succumb to the greed & keep the chips/miners to themselves as long as they can,if they even exist  Roll Eyes

Yeah I agree...but if anyone makes a miner...scrypt seems a bit more nimble imho on the whole difficulty exploding thing.

Would sure help you ethereum miners (and turn me to one to) if the folk developing ethereum would say ..er never mind we decided to have it stay a pow coin and not go pos..
the problem with that happy dream is as soon as they were to really seem to be gonna do so..someone would make an asic chip for such.

But yeah 19 months and my Titans are still killing it is utterly confusing and probably 'wrong' if there are asic morals on so many levels...I'm utterly befuddled myself on wth is going on.

They will doorstop someday...but they have a whole 'knc we are evil vampire hard to kill' kinda thing going on at the moment

(probably should make an ethereum rig for a toy but alas I think that may soon pass due to difficulty increases on that network or am I mis-informed)

home mining ..the addiction..the movie.....the book ..the play....Smiley

5678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin network dying ? on: June 03, 2016, 07:30:46 AM
I'm just curious, what hapenned with network Huh  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Yeah I"m still befuddled about that

again

1) knc had secret Titan farm they took down on receivership due to bankruptcy stuff....(they are evil they said they never had such a farm but still)

2) some farm has dumped out or in the process of all its 110 mh A2's and making room for the A4's at 400mh (more likely imho ....)

yeah ...I like the 20% drop in LTC difficulty and me making 340 bucks more a month after electric as a result (1000mh at 14c kwh and 4100 watts at 4.64 LTC now is:

using this free calculator on litecoinpool anyone can use don't have to be part of this LTC pool to use it

www.litecoinpool.org/calc

30 days   387.75585938 LTC   1799.19 USD  Total        413.28 USD       Electric Cost         1385.91 USD Profit After Electric

But I mean really? this is getting downright silly the network GH is 1162 GH. I have for the past year used the figure of what the GH was for LTC when I started mining with
my 1st original Titan (Nov 8th 2014) at 1169gh....So it is 19 months later and I'm mining on a same/or smaller network rate for LTC ...I mean am I dreaming?

Add to the fact that BTC and LTC seem to be going up in price this could get way, way, interesting (in a happy but terrifying way) if say BTC was to hit 650 usd and LTC was
to say at a modest 0.008 ltc to btc rate that is $5.20 LTC..well sheesh my miners from 1st new one (Nov 8th 2014) and the 2 other used ones are ALL originally Nov 2014 units.

Anyway I watch this unfold...scratch my head in utter disbelief...and am a puddle of befuddlement....sheesh.....

hell drag the old GAW miner out or your old A2 scrypt miner..heck they may make bucks now again ..go figure

use that with the above calc.....(way scary...in a happy/terror type manner) (I mean they are KNC machines and 'evil' thus there has to be a catch!) Smiley

5680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A4 Dominator, the 14nm LTC ASIC/Miners, sample tested and open for pre-order on: June 03, 2016, 05:18:57 AM
The only difference between "14nm" and "16nm" seems to be marketing and minor implimentation details between Global Foundrys and TSMC (and Intel which doesn't sell capasity to anyone else - I could also specify Samsung but they're allied with one of the others using the SAME process) - which is why I've tended to refer to the "14/16nm" generation.
It's interesting that NVidia has specified it is qualifying (or has qualified by now, IIRC they stated "2Q 2016" for the designs to be qualified on both) it's 10xx series products for production on BOTH process nodes - apparently with no change in their specifications, indicating the actual performance is pretty close to identical.

There is a major difference between Innosilicon (among others), with a PROVEN TRACK RECORD of delivering their claims and a long corporate history in semiconductor manufacture and design before Bitcoin existed, vs. a company like Black Arrow that never did make good on all of their claims and was very very late on what little they DID eventually deliver and didn't even exist when Bitcoin first came to be.

On a more important point, got a reply to my email inquiry about A4 pricing today.

 "

Thanks for your interest! The pre-order price of A4 miner is not determined yet. Please stay tuned.

Best regards,

Chloe Zhang

*SIGH*

I'm even more sure the price is gonna be 4k for the miner..if not more so with the btc/ltc price hikes...just saying....we will see I guess.
