5681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 22, 2019, 10:45:52 AM
I just had a really bad day gambling today with Roma losing a ticket for me and their odd was 1.20 and they were playing against the last place of Italian Serie A. I thought a bad day and move on and played another ticket this time I choose Brondby as they were playing at home against a team they had beaten almost always and the odd was 1.35. This was even worse as Brondby lost 2-4 at home to a team quoted from the bookies at 8.5

Now I am not an expert in gambling but this day was a really eye opener for me, you can never win in gambling. Imagine when you can't win in lotto , soccer betting or whatever you call it, you don't have a chance in slots.

You can still win but the odds if much lower than you will imagine especially in lotto, and other games that only one winner will take it all. But there are still some games that you can even win, and the odds are much higher. But I'm telling you that you must gamble for fun and excitement not for sure money, because once you think that every wage you make is equal to sure money, then you will be right that you can't win in gambling.

Basically, we can't win in gambling because we win in gambling by luck, without luck no chance to win, even in this stage, we can't say that our experience will be counted. Because we have only one option to win in gambling by luck and nothing more.
Not like that, in gambling there are several supporting factors that can be done as well as possible, because gambling does not fully rely on luck, if you realize about how much odds you can get well, then that's where experience and skills will be prioritized.

It depends where you gamble. Dice sites purely depends on luck imo. But on games like poker and betting on sportsbooks experience and skill does really help. In fact if you have good skills on a game like poker, even if you have bad luck on cards, you can still turn the table on your side for you to win.
5682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impossibility of a gambling system (Why methods don't work) on: July 21, 2019, 07:46:36 AM
If a specific method works or will work in gambling then no casino or website will be established. It purely depends on your luck to win or not. Even mathematicians can't or even tried to beat a gambling system.
5683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: July 20, 2019, 09:34:58 AM
The only thing that gambling involves in video games are those skin, gacha games, and lootboxes are not mandatory to play the game. If you want your character to be strong or look cool then you can try your luck on those RNG events.

It's not addiction imo but its your passion that drives you to gamble on those. It's also a way to support the game you love. Unlike the actual gambling in casinos or websites you rely on luck to earn and be happy or lose with regret.
5684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting ready to buy! on: July 19, 2019, 11:00:09 AM
to buy it, I usually see the previous support area. from this support area we can predict a price reversal will occur. so not every drop we buy, waiting for the price decline in the support area will be more effective. In my opinion

I think this is how experts do their daily trading. They buy on support then sell on resistance.

That's really a great bargain to buy Bitcoin and hold it to the next year. All are looking forward to the bright future of BTC when it's dominance is at 65.7%.
It seems to be on the path of 2017, I think the whales will continue to buy it until Dominance reaches 85%.
Buy as many BTC as you can, because you will no longer see BTC moving at this cheap price in a few months.

Bitcoin halving will happen again next year so there is a high possibility that its value will greatly increase.
5685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will there be physical casinos operating with cryptos in the future? on: July 19, 2019, 04:55:42 AM
It is possible just like many businesses that adapts to the blockchain technology together with the use of cryptos. You can just go to that casino without bringing cash and buy some chips or credits to gamble by paying bitcoin or ethereum.
5686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 19, 2019, 03:07:05 AM
Hardwork in gambling will only expose you to everything about the game, but doesn't guarantee you win always. Luck counts a lot in gambling and also smart work to an extent. Well, hardwork pays in everything.

But hardwork in gambling also means you risk alot of money to strategize all possible counters everytime you lose. Only a very rich man could do that imo. If you're just a casual gambler you won't risk your hard earned money just to let it eaten by the gambling website or casino.
5687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 18, 2019, 11:47:38 AM
Winning in gambling can be experienced by any of the user, but the same won't continue. People never understand this reality and starts to bet continuous without analyzing better, but relying over the luck most of the time. This will never get you winning, but causes frustration when what we believed never strikes the reality.
Lol people understand that they are losing but the problem is the eagerness to win that most turns into greediness.

But I believe that if we can find the real essence of gambling?no one else will turns addicting instead they will use this as unwinding and relieving

Money is involved in gambling so most people see it as a way to earn extra cash. Gambling is a form of entertainment and must be played that way but most people don't see that. Some get addicted because they are desperate to earn.
5688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What 🛠are the advantages 🔝of playing poker💵 on: July 17, 2019, 02:39:44 PM
I think the advantages are it improves your decision making and ability to bluff your opponents. It really takes a lot of time and dedication if you really want to be good in poker. Even if you have bad cards you can turn the table on your side if you are good at bluffing your opponents.
5689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: July 17, 2019, 12:53:55 PM
However, most players simple don't know when to call it quits, or resort to strategies that will not work in the long run, such as martingale.

Martingale is a killer, it kills your bankroll, I should know that as I've experience getting busted int he past.

Martingale is a very risky strategy especially gambling really depends on luck. The higher your base bet the higher it will double when you're hitting losing streaks. I don't even think high rollers use this strategy. This require a very huge capital to put at risk.
5690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: July 17, 2019, 12:05:11 PM
That is my struggle whenever I gamble, I always lost track and I can not manage my greediness, my eagerness to get back what I have lose. This tips may help gambler like me who are actually lack on self control. Knowing when to stop is really important especially when you reach your target profit.

Greediness is a sin as they say.  If you are not easily contented on what you have and crave for more you will just lose it in the end if you don't control your emotion. One way to control yourself when gambling is think the worst case scenario if you continue gambling even if you already reached your target profit or loss to much money.
5691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: July 17, 2019, 08:18:03 AM
Any of the top coins like eth, ada, ltc, bnb, eos is a good choice of investment for long term.  BNB is developed by the same owner of binance exchange. Eth because of its own blockchain and smart contracts. Ltc was created 2 years after bitcoin so its been here for almost 8 year.

The best thing to do is research where you want to invest then decide which you think is good and last for many years.
5692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 16, 2019, 01:15:44 PM
Having a winning mindset in gambling gives you courage of winning already, but doesn't determine the final outcome. Well, it's always good to be optimistic before gambling, then focus and if luck shines on you, you win the game.

Luck really plays a big role in gambling. Even if you are optimistic and plan ahead your gambling, if luck is not on your side that time you won't go home earning some profit. Controlling your emotion or avoiding to be greedy  will rather give what you want in gambling.
5693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 16, 2019, 10:04:05 AM
House edge is normal but for me the reason why we lose in gambling is the frequency of us gambling. Let us just say that we won five consecutive times, do you think we will stop gambling? My answer is no, we would still gamble until we lose.

Yes, we will not stop gambling because we want to make a big win again and again. That will make us play more because we expect that in the next round, we will going to be the winner again. But the truth is we will going to lose in the next round, and they will get our win money back. But if we can realize that what we win is enough for us and we decide to stop gambling, then I think we can save that money, and we can leave the places without any problem.

Human greed is really difficult to control. We are not easily on what we have so we crave for more. We think we are lucky when we are having winning streaks on gambling but when we start losing we try to recover it until it's all gone.
5694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever looked at how much you have wagered with a hanging mouth? :P on: July 15, 2019, 11:40:07 AM
At first I'm also shocked to the total amount I wagered. And think if I spend it not on gambling it could already bought many foods and things I want. But I don't stress myself about it, I just tell to myself not to regret it and I also enjoyed those times I was gambling.
5695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm interested in trading but don't know where to start. Any tips? on: July 14, 2019, 11:20:40 AM
I am newbie in trading. can you guys please help me ? How much money do I need to get started?

Start with a very small amount to learn how it works. Read some articles or watch tutorials on how to trade. Internet is always your friend, it's up to you how you will use it to the fullest. Once you get the hang of it increase the amount you trade. Also don't listen to some experts saying what is good to trade, imo only them gets the benefit of it. Always DYOR.
5696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: July 14, 2019, 05:04:50 AM
We can save our bitcoin or altcoin on exchange market but we have added authicator to protect our digital coins is safe, but we can save by using offline wallet like nano ledger wallet.

It is not advised to store your cryptocurrencies on exchanges even if you enabled its 2 factor authentication. You don't have personal control over your coins there. Once the owner of that site decides to freeze all withdrawals you can't do anything about it. The best choice is to use hardware wallet but not all can afford that so using some wallets that supports multiple cryptocurrencies is also good.
5697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 14, 2019, 03:49:17 AM
How can it affect your gambling? I think everyone that gambles wants to win. Put it in a lottery. All people that try their luck on it have a positive mindset but a very lucky individual win. Sometimes the one that wins don't even expect they would win.
5698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: July 13, 2019, 06:17:26 AM
Desperate need of money makes most people addicted to gambling. They don't earn enough and they see gambling as a way to provide it. When they lose they can't accept the reality and try to recover it.
5699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 13, 2019, 05:44:10 AM
Imo hardwork doesn't work on dice sites or games where house edge is the opponent.. But on games like poker where your opponent is a real human there is a chance that your hardwork will pay off learning all the possible strategies for every situation.
5700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question of the day: What is your price prediction for bitcoin ? on: July 13, 2019, 03:52:01 AM
My guess is it will reach new ATH this year. We've already recovered last year's bear market where it crashed hard and bitcoin's price was below $4k. Now we are slowly climbing up and been stable above $10k for some weeks. Maybe before november or december we'll achieve a new ATH.
