Either there's something wrong with Bitcoinwisdom or the BTCe order book looks strangely empty. There's no supply above 242 and only about 1400 bitcoins left on the whole order book. 63 BTC there - munched.  i'm noticing it too now.. this could go up fast on BTC-E. |

i have to say bitcoin is doing very very nicely price-wise, seems like a natural rise too with some decent volume.
Lets see if it passes the 249.22 then we would have a strong signal for trend reversal. Is that where the blue thingmy crosses the brown whotsit going up the way on your chart ? no, i'm just looking at Bitfinex on Bitcoinwisdom and it seems like the short term ATH of 249.22 is what needs to be breached in order of trend reversal right now.. but i would love to here a more detailed foresight about bitcoin's possible trend reversal (including those blue thingy crossing the brown thingy ) |

They're just here to try to keep up with DASH's latest updates so they can continue to to COPY and PASTE
i think its getting very very hard to just copy & paste Dash code into some coin these days, and after the next Dash update it will be even harder. I suspect we will then be the first altcoin that successfully integrated all the current Bitcoin updates into its own code. I have a feeling the DASH will not be able to follow BTC much longer if the whole side-chain thing happens but I don't know enough about it to really comment to much about it here is some more info about it : http://techcrunch.com/2015/06/13/down-the-blockchain-rabbit-hole/I'm not sure what to think about it, appearently it has been given some serious thought but would require a hard fork for Bitcoin.... are they really up for that? And what about regulations ? Will they even allow this for Bitcoin ? For example Confidential Transactions (a specific sidechain) seems to conflict with currently drafted regulations and KYC rules. |

For those in need of a longterm overview :  Basicly the price of Dash is going sideways since early may 2015, so i'm not that worried. Also a certain large update is just around the corner..... |

Not tight enough. I always worry about myopia, on any project. The answer to watering down the impact of altcoins on BTC is side chains. Side chains have the potential to propel Bitcoin further without side chains. Without altcoins there would be no side chains. Loop that for a while i tried to loop that, it gave me a headache  |

The two things I'm losing sleep over right now (and neither of them are recycled nonsense about naming issues).
[2] - w.t.f. game is the EU playing at with Greece ? Why do they seem increasingly more relaxed (apparently) about letting it blow up ? Have they
a) - calculated that they can get away with it without creating apocalyptic mayhem in the Eurozone
b) - got some looming black swan event that's going to need the bailout cash more then Greece does
I guess they are playing as much hard ball as the greek, coming thursday will be a decisive moment. The EU limited the possible impact this could have on other EU members as much as possible by setting up certain support structures recently (over the last few years) and obviously they feel more confident now. |
