5721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the police do if they seize bitcoin from criminals? on: July 15, 2020, 03:18:57 AM
It depends on which government they belonged because for some reason there are lots of rules out there in each country. some might keep it as government properties when they are proven to be used for criminal activities. some might just hold it and we never know what they may do to it later. then you have some corrupt policemen in every country if the operation didn't publish to their people, there are chances that they will hide it to sold later on.
5722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: July 13, 2020, 01:16:39 PM
Sometimes I feel that whoever loses this election 2020, will blame coronavirus for this. They will claim that they were not being able to involve with their workers and were not able to perform pre-elections campaigns properly. Covid-19 could be an easy excuse for losing the USA elections for both the parties.

It could be used as a reason but more likely people will not buy this kind of cheap reasons nowadays. Only because they already know which reason why the other party loses the election. They just need to be truthful and professionals where they don't give a hard feeling in each other because in the end of the day, they need to help each other to make America great again.
5723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: July 13, 2020, 12:41:43 PM
I have some certain coins who have a lot of potentials to become one of the top coins in the market today and I was holding them for a pretty long time now. I want to hold it as long as possible and hold it until I think the price is reasonable to sell them. It's not that easy to hold such coins but if it ever reached its all-time high in the market, I might think again to sell them all because we never know if their price will reach up that high again. Some people will not bother whether to sell them now or later only because they're holding some amount that they don't really care whether they lose it or not.
5724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocoinopoly - Do you consider it a good idea? on: July 13, 2020, 12:16:04 PM
I never played monopoly games before but if you innovate it with implementing crypto on it, I might try and play your game. This will be the first time this kind of game introduced to the forum and if you come to make a pair of rules which will make players enjoy this game then that will be something to look forward to. I would like to participate in the beta version if you will have one like testing some flaws and bugs.
5725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 12, 2020, 03:00:27 PM
Two weeks but it also emphasize in the article that they need more time to get back in shape because two weeks of resting only is not good for a player to just come back after that period, training back is the first step and then they can play and compete well.

Yeah! they will need some days to get back in shape and that would be good before they restart the season they will have some kind of practice game like they used to do on pre-season games. This will be enough for them to get back on track and play like they used to. I really miss seeing some unexpected dunks again. I'm counting the days for their next come back and will gonna watch it with my friends.
5726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin smart contracts are not developed? on: July 12, 2020, 02:21:43 PM
It is because there are lots of cryptocurrencies nowadays that offer that kind of contract, like Ethereum and others. If they will be developed it now, I think its too late for them because there are already lots of projects who have this kind of thing and theirs are already developed to the point that they only encountering fewer bugs from it. If the team who develops smart contracts for BTC is really sincere they won't hesitate to start it now but there must be some kind of reasons why they're not focusing on this one.
5727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 12, 2020, 01:52:13 PM
Petr Yan has won a vacant Bantamweight Championship belt. Does he counts now as a champ in his division or he needs to fight someone else to be counted as a true champ?

He already a champion if we stick by the rules. but if he wants to prove that he really is, he needs to face some top contender in their division and when he able to defeat that challenger, he can now have a rest because He is truly a champion with proof. Real fighters will not be satisfied if they only get the title without any struggle because it is their pride in their retirements.
5728  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Warning: SEC issued a warning against FORSAGE! on: July 10, 2020, 02:26:52 PM

By the way, did you guys report it na ba?

5729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 10, 2020, 02:01:11 PM
Those coins you mentioned had faced tremendous problems before they became stable cryptocurrencies investment in the market. Most likely because when they first launched their coins in the market, only few investors have taken the risk to invest in them but as you can see right now the result is truly amazing where they be able to gain some huge amount of income after a long struggle of holding those coins. If we can only know which new coin right now will turn like those coins in the future, no one will gonna hesitate to invest in it.
5730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest in a bitcoin exchange? on: July 10, 2020, 01:23:00 PM
If it's that easy to run a crypto exchange, everyone that has enough funds will gonna make their own crypto exchange and you will gonna see that the numbers of crypto exchange will reach up to thousands. But as you can see, it's not that easy to run. in fact for every single crypto exchanges required some special teams to do their own duty in the exchanges. we're not counting other staff like those people who are specialized in security and preventative measures against hackers. In other words, it's not an easy job to have one and also you really need to have some huge amount of capital to actually run a real crypto exchanges.
5731  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Warning: SEC issued a warning against FORSAGE! on: July 09, 2020, 05:00:09 PM
Good Job talaga OP, right timing talaga yung pag share mo ng knowledge as in meron tayong nailigtas na tao ng dahil dito.
5732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: July 09, 2020, 04:39:44 PM
I saw Ryan Garcia's highlights on Youtube and I think this man has a lot of potentials to become one of the legendary boxers if he can maintain his position in the Top Ranked Boxers in the world. He should no doubt fight at least at the top 5 ranked of his current weight class. so when he beat them all he can prove everyone that he is deserving of such title. but wait, that's not an easy job though. cause anything can happen on the ring but those who have a lot of potentials can make it through to the hall of fame.
5733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: July 09, 2020, 03:03:55 PM
Paying taxes is our right and here in our country, people are obliged to pay taxes when we are in a work.

Lucky for our country because as of this moment, the government isn't thinking of putting a tax on Bitcoins or any cryptocurrencies. Taxes are there for the betterment of the economy so if the time will come that they will put taxes on Bitcoins here in our country then there is no problem on it since it is our responsibility to pay taxes right Cheesy.

I agree with you man, thankfully we are not yet obliged to pay taxes when using BTC in our country which is so far so good for us. If they ever put some taxes on it, it would not be that higher than the other countries on the list. because we know that in here people will not be engaged in something that has some kind of higher payments except those who can afford it which only a few people in our country can do.
5734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how big? on: July 09, 2020, 02:14:46 PM
We haven't added the underground bet which is we know they are not playing around down there. if they are not operating illegally, we can somehow find a source that will lead us to know how much they spend on one bet down there. I'm sure we can also count some millions of dollars and maybe much more than that. I don't know how they gonna set-up their own gambling station but I know there is something going on there which normal people don't know.
5735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency mixing services do more harm than good to blockchain technology on: July 09, 2020, 01:54:02 PM
You forgot to research another story about it which Cryptocurrency mixing services will give more secure transactions for holders and will make their transaction untraceable because there are lots of people out there who had been a victim by those evil people who only exist to steal other peoples money. With the help of Cryptocurrency mixing services, they can prevent this kind of act. for your information, you can see some people who fell victim when evil people traced them. check this link: https://github.com/jlopp/physical-bitcoin-attacks/blob/master/README.md
5736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 08, 2020, 03:07:55 PM
Looks like if that happens we have to sacrifice a little bit of our privacy to play our favorite casino and sport betting games. It's most likely unavoidable in the near future but its necessary while there are cons there are also pros. Because we might get insurance and protection against scam gambling sites.

It would happen in the future when the government has finally accepted Bitcoin as a means of payment, they will go for the Gambling site next time and any other industries that run cryptocurrency in their Country. Of course, there is some advantage when that happens because those fake investment scams will have a hard time running their company in the public and they will be asked for a permit just to run a mere scam.
5737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 08, 2020, 02:35:54 PM
I have noticed that there are many people here who do not understand that many cryptocurrencies are stablecoins. Stablecoin means that its price is designed to be as stable as possible. That means there will be no ROI from buying and hodling bunch of stablecoins. Coins with very large or infinite max supply are very likely designed to be stablecoins because that way they can stabilize the price by emitting more coins when the coin scales rapidly. Just like they do with FIAT to keep the exchange rate stable. Stablecoins are rarely perfectly stable, but they are considered stablecoins because of their effort to keep the price stable.

Stable coins are not for investment, they're just for back up with US dollar or any other national currencies. You can always use it when you are afraid of a sudden decrease in the price of the BTC or any other cryptocurrencies in the market. because once you convert it to stable coins, no matter what the result of the price of the other cryptocurrencies might be, it won't affect it at all.
5738  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Warning: SEC issued a warning against FORSAGE! on: July 08, 2020, 02:08:02 PM
5739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life soundtrack for Gamblers? on: July 08, 2020, 01:40:34 PM
This will be a difficult choice because everyone will have different choices and the some will love loud music, and some will love the smooth melody instrumental music playing in the background. Like myself would not prefer any loud music or drums being used extensively and may just irritate me. So, I would just like to have a good non drum based music.

Also, there are some people who prefer silent than hearing a lot of noise around them which is impossible if you are inside of the Casinos. except when you are at home, you can really do that because you are on your own. Loud music are really annoying if you are not used to listening to it but some people preferred it than a melodious one.
5740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 60M$ Worth Bitcoins Moved to ETH on: July 08, 2020, 01:15:19 PM
With this, most of the tokens that use the Ethereum network will increased their price. There hasn't been any further movement with the ETH price right now, maybe it will trigger when there will be another good news about ETH again. Anyway, this is a good thing for ETH since last year a lot of negative rumors are spreading about them because of the price of ETH isn't increasing when BTC price was sky-rocketing last year when it reaches to almost $14,000.
