... and a lot of interesting stats and info is also there thanks to poiuty who made this! Btw this site is mostly in Russian, use Google Translate interesting, i didnt know inflation is scheduled to decrease per 2016 thanks for the link. Supply is to be cut by 7% every 210240 blocks (which is ~1 year) EDIT: strictly saying inflation % != emission % emission % is calculated using amount of money issued while inflation % is calculated using goods prices at different points of time afaik thanks for the clarification

guys in last couple of days im getting error when sending via instantx Status: 1/confirmed (InstantX verification failed), broadcast through 22 node(s) every time, what the hell could be the masternode network thats still updating from .22 (48.2%) to .23 (50.7%) could be the venom bug that forced some server providers to update their platform, which lead to some server instances needing restarting, which lead to some lower masternode numbers right now (at least i assume thats causing it) could be something totally diffferent

I've been in hibernation for a few years. Who the f*** are usecryptos? appearently a wallet and trading platform for virtual currencies https://usecryptos.com/i vagueally remember this came also up a few pages ago ? people asking if people knew it.. Its a bit weird to see our largest Dash volume 24h there (44%). Cryptsy has 25.6% of Dash volume 24h currently. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash/#markets

On behalf of the Dutch government i wanna express my sincere apology to those countries that had their internet traffic running through AMS-IX in Amsterdam today (the largest internet hub in the world appearently). http://www.nltimes.nl/2015/05/13/outage-at-amsterdam-internet-hub-affects-much-of-netherlands/For those complot-theory enthusiasts among you i just want to emphasize that : A : The Netherlands was not fletching it cyberwarfare muscles here in a prelude to a possible WWIII B : The Netherlands was not aware the superhub was even there .. well, at least i wasnt .. and who put it there anyways ? C : Appearently someone was having a bad day at the office as the outage points to human error in this case so .. in short .. sorry and have a nice day.

i'm not sure how much value to place on above post from someone so involved in the XMR vs DRK thread (and then clearly on the side of XMR) but i am interested to see if there is any truth to it. edit : also she owes a certain person 0.4 BTC

History in the making (again) I'm sure we'll be making a lot of history along our journey! Glad to see the DGBB's been passed. Now to see how it works in practice, and make adjustments if need be. What about starting off with 100% Yea? giving people 2 weeks to vote Nay and if its still over 51% at end, then the vote passes. This would do away with some of the apathy and inspire people to turn up for the ballet. (even organ donation in some countries is presumed yes unless you have a card saying keep off) ''Distributed systems is kind of like economics: everyone thinks they are qualified because they once ran a remote process.'' ~~Emin Gün Sirer~~ (Cornell University, Professor of computing) i rather like current setup (starting with abstain and working towards yea or nay) but i think we need to intensify our communication efforts towards informing masternode owners about new or current voting proposals. We could perhaps use the dashninja site which is widely used by masternode owners to inform them there is a new voting proposal that needs their attention .. kinda like how masternode owners get informed on that site a new masternode version is out. edit : now i think about it, we could also maybe try to implement something like a messaging system that can be used within the Dash wallet for these kind of important messages .. a decentralised secure messaging system that can be used to alert masternode owners. Perhaps complement it with the ability to have it sent you emails about important messages as well.
