582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: January 08, 2021, 04:16:09 PM
for me its a bit risky, especially if you are here to earn, and not gonna hold long term, I suggest you wait, for the price, to go down, or try to invest in coins that are just going to enter the market, its a lot safer than to invest on already at the peak price it's really dangerous, but if you can bear if it goes down then it's ok.
583  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost in my life on: January 08, 2021, 03:00:26 PM
Where should I go in the virtual currency world?I don’t have the funds to invest. I don’t have a premium account for bounty and signature tasks, but the cruel reality does not have much time for me to learn.
why are you in a hurry? take small steps at a time, as a Sr. Member I'm not in a hurry, I just go with the flow, why not do a step by step, you can't be a millionaire in 1 day, it takes hard work, and the never giving up attitude, when I was like you, I really don't know what to do, but thanks to the people that guided me, here I am, don't lose hope, it will come, but you need to work first, nothing will happen if you act like that.
584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Actual Blockchain Games on: January 08, 2021, 12:30:25 PM
Also please include in your list the upcoming game Mirandus, and also Town star, I have tried town star and its entertaining also excited for the launch of Miranda, what excites me is that you can own land in the game, I think there are still blockchain games that we haven't tried looking forward to using crypto coins for the game, hopefully, other games follow.
here is the link maybe you should look at: https://gala.games/
585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need some help getting into bitcoin on: January 08, 2021, 09:47:54 AM

586  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning} Fake Gemini BTC Airdrop on: January 08, 2021, 01:40:55 AM
Please be careful with this so called Winklevoss twins Gemini fake giveaway.

Website:
Code:
https://gemini-giveaways.blogspot.com/
https://gemini-payment2.blogspot.com/

BTC address:
Code:
1ELTNmArkQ3yBLusW4Pj245yAXyhktMcCj

So far it has a final balance of 0.0015 BTC and I do hope it's not from some beginners in crypto.

Archived: https://archive.is/yG3fG

I have reported this to blogspot already, they are very quick to take down websites that have been using their platform, so I expect that in the next couple of days, this is gone already. However, need to give the community a warning, just in case a newbie saw it in the rounds of social medias.
Such a good project but I think gemini will not make an airdrop now,  their project are doing great, if you want to check if tjey really have airdrop go to their official website for announcement, better to be safe than be scam, need extra careful because we cant afford to lose money from this people.
587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First Bitcoin Transaction and i dont know where by Bitcoin has been sent on: January 07, 2021, 11:25:42 PM
yes it's 0.02 BTC in this wallet 36ovibBn7g7CukYy29y3rFwXpj3GvHHrSh, I don't know what they are saying that they don't recognize the address or what
but if you clearly see on the transaction its 100% bitcoin address, sir o_e_l_e_o is correct, you might victim to a scammer scheme, I'm just thinking why would you do a large transaction to an unknown exchange, I'm sure its an exchange I hear of that before, why not choose well known, like Binance, or poloniex?
588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another sad story, 2.6 BTC lost. on: January 07, 2021, 10:17:02 PM
I've almost to the point that it becomes tedious to send or receive coins, because I have to triple check everything.

Lol

This is my life.

I just sent a transaction to a friend. I spend about 20 minutes checking, choosing the coins and addresses I would like to share triple check ledge nano, electrum, nano device, fees... so many things to check

It's easy to make a mistake, but at the same time it is amazing the freedom to send money over the internet without any custodial service or intermediaries
I'm just like you, my friends are so annoyed I keep on asking if the address is correct, I even ask for a screenshot of the address and check it per line, when I transfer. .04 BTC the last time it took me 15 mins checking it back and forth doesn't want to lose money by just because I'm overconfident but sometimes bad days really come, no matter how we are careful.
589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who the hell is doing this? on: January 07, 2021, 04:24:37 PM
time is changing people realize now the value of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin,  from a coin that has been ignoring by millions of people laughing , and saying that its a scam, now they know the mistake they made, and rushing to at least have a small amount, as long as people buy, companies and other groups recognize bitcoin as an important or money it will continue to go up,
590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help for mine on: January 07, 2021, 11:33:44 AM
at now i doing mining in some website.i know its a not mining.its share my hadware to that web.anyhow i can earn oneday 4$.i want to know can i earn money for anyother good site or using some of software?
If you have videocard then you can mine altcoins like ethereum for example, its true what other said you can't use that for bitcoin mining,
what do you mean with a website, i think the website, you are talking about is just a gui is just a statistics its normal, so that you can monitor your hash or are you slowing down how much did you earn something like that, also you can go to the mining section, they can answer almost everything,
when it comes to mining good luck, in your mining.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty on: January 07, 2021, 07:59:21 AM
I have been in your position before, it's very difficult and sometimes frustrating if you have spent time and effort and in the end, it's not even worth it, it's like gambling you'll never know if it's really legit, the bounty value will depend on how successful the project when release, now if you were talking about the bounty on a signature campaign that is a different story, they will pay you every week in BTC, to know more about that navigate to the market then services section of the forum, just a reminder that there are some that require a certain rank and other requirements.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 07, 2021, 12:28:39 AM
I think those tips that they are sharing will only work for them, because in order to win like them you need to have the same amount of money as them, yes sometimes those works but that's like 1 in a million, if you are just going to follow those steps that actually told you, it will never work
because what works for them might not work for you, paying how to win is just like a waste of money, it's better if you learn it to yourself and get better at it.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Forsage on: January 06, 2021, 01:43:45 PM
I am not a professional in the field of investing, but one look at their website, and what is inside there is something wrong, I'm not here to judge but if you are familiar with networking? it is the same but this one is just digital why I'm saying this? why do you need to have downline and upline in investing? in crypto you trade by yourself you win loose in forage you don't invite your gone look at the image I'm going to post it's like a pyramid scam, stay away from this crypto is way better than that a million times
here is the image

I also heard in the video that if you can't invite you can make your own something like that
please don't waste money on this scheme, spend it wisely let's go-to crypto bitcoin!
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 06, 2021, 09:17:48 AM
What a performance displayed by Kyrie Irving just for the first quarter of the game "18 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast, 7/7 FG & 4/4 3P". Looks like the clutch Irving is back, do it Uncle Drew.
Yeah, I witnessed that on live tv.  Grin
Damn, those soft touches were still going in. It's like lady luck is beside him.
But the lead went too far that it became garbage time. Ended up just having 29 points and sits down the rest of the game.
LeVert and Allen made a lot of contributions to win.

No Durant and Dinwiddie and they are still that strong. It's scary.
I think jazz can't match nets yes Mitchell can pour the points but, if those other players will not add 10pts a game they are not going anywhere especially now that west is so loaded still, Rudy needs to add more points, Bojan needs to step up, if they will just let Mitchell do all the scoring then I think it will be an only one-man show.
595  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Urgent help on: January 06, 2021, 07:28:52 AM
what is your operating system, and what is the error, if its a software maybe you can recover it but if it's a hard drive, it's like a 50/50 chance for you,
if it's just an operating system maybe it can, the bad thing is, that you need to update the os, I'm pretty sure its windows XP or Vista operating system, its like 1000 BTC try to ask for an update or fix in Microsoft they can do that but with a price.
596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what happens to bitcoin on: January 05, 2021, 04:40:29 PM
I think one of the reason is that people are now what they called FOMO meaning fear of missing out, because as we know lots of people ignore bitcoin before but now, they realize they have made a huge mistake and trying to have some piece or part of it before it goes up, also there are lots of company now that is trying to use bitcoin, banks are now having an interest in bitcoin, there are lots of reasons but I think this is some of it.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 05, 2021, 03:37:31 PM
there is no such thing as fair game, every time two different person meets there is one who have always the upper hand for example when manny fights Mayweather this is just an example guys okay, manny have to use what Mayweather gloves want's, in that Mayweather gets the advantages, in card game? the banker has the upper hand, in basketball LBJ will always have an advantage over Curry.
598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comparative Features On Top Phone Antivirus For Crypto Wallets Protection on: January 05, 2021, 01:10:03 PM
Antivirus keeps your phone safe, also I encounter sometimes example in Huawei if you don't run an antivirus scan your phone suddenly slows running application, is slow, I don't know yet what is the for it, but I think to be safe for any thief, don't just install apps especially with airdrops, those applications can't be detected by antivirus, also apk files we don't know where that came from and it might have hidden executive file that might harm your phone and hacker might use that as a backdoor.
599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verified Twitter account is being used to promote fake giveaway! on: January 05, 2021, 05:15:02 AM
This is why very important to read, research, what really is going on, sometimes if we just click anything advertising something on Twitter we will be in the loop, and may also spread the same giveaway, link and hashtags are one of those that are being used by a scammer, with that you tend to believe it's legit because once you check the account its verified, but the links given by the scammer are not.
Where scammers are hiding:
Links
Personal message
Best thing to do is go to the official website before clicking any links, or in the official site for sure they have the links or form of the giveaway
if you can't see them on the site it's fake.
600  Other / Beginners & Help / why its important to read Terms and condition when sending funds on: January 04, 2021, 06:35:28 AM
This post is for a newbie or old-time members who sometimes forget to read and just send their funds away and lost them the reason is that when you forgot to read and there is a minimum and an exchange or a certain address requires a minimum, sometimes they don't return the funds, I have done this before the good thing that I only send few dollars but hey, its still money, also for some coins don't forget to add the destination tag, this is is a 6digit number to know where exactly to send a certain coin that requires it is aside from wallet address it, take extra careful small money or not always read what is written below the deposit address or wallet, so no money will go to waste.

this image is taken from an exchange while im making a transaction this example is for BTC
