I have a running MN. Is there a guide to add another one to the same wallet or do I need to consolidate them to the fresh wallet?

Thx

Good stuff but still no Factom. Now when their network s been stable. I really do not see the point of waiting till scheduled 2018.
583  Economy / Speculation / The sky has not fallen down on our head and I hope you have not sold at $1830! on: July 21, 2017, 06:38:26 AM
There is not much to say here. I just wanted to reiterate the need to learn the value of patience in crypto. Buy when there s blood in the streets and do not sell when people re panicing. Cause that way the only ones who profit are speculators. I hope new crypto users learn this and learn it fast.

Bitcoin has survived, as discussed a few days ago, SegWit2x has locked in and it will be activated in 300 blocks. Miners have a few days to update their nodes and those who do not, well, their blocks will be rejected after activation which means they ll upgrade 100%.

There will be no Bitcoin doom. There will be no Bitcoin split.

Here is another free tip for you guys, after BTC breaks $3000+, alts will start skyrocketing again. So dont be fooled to sell while the alt market s red. Stick it to speculators. Let their buys remain unfilled!
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 21, 2017, 06:32:58 AM
Ok, as I ve stated a few days ago, SegWit is locked in, it will be activated in 300 blocks and the sky has not fallen on our heads. Where re now FUDders to cry about Bitcoin doomsday?

I guess they sold their coins at $1830.

Now the same panic will move to alts with the same result.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIP 91 lock-in period on: July 20, 2017, 09:23:48 PM
It ll get locked in within a next few hours. Then the next 3 days stage starts. BTC price has already recognized this. What about alts?
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Bitcoin pump on: July 20, 2017, 05:20:57 PM
Right now we see a 10% pump of Bitcoin, anyone could explain me the reason? Isn't it going to dump this weekend?
There's a lot of things that are influencing the value, such as the fork coming up in just a week and some days, which has been getting the required amount of signaling and is looking like it will be the fork being used, so that's pumping the value since there is now more confidence in the abilities of the mining community to do things that benefit the community as a whole. Fees should go down, there should be a smaller queue for transactions, it's good all around and people are happy.

True , fork will crash the bitcoin for Sure and there will chance Segwit handle that issue it is all about 12 hour game
by August 1st or July last lilke 27 - 28 issue might be hit then next 12 hour of fork we will find out the Value of BTC or BTU

I ask this question for the 55th time. WHAT FORK? Why do you post about stuff you obviously know shit about. What fork? Segwit2x support is currently just under 90% and once it gets locked in the rest of the blocks will be orphaned, receiving no fees so they ll all line up and go after SegWit2x.

What fork?
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 20, 2017, 05:17:15 PM
@crazyivan, it is entirely possible that Bitmain may fork off to Bitcoin ABC regardless of BIP91 lock in. They have said they will not, but they may break that promise. Just because they can.

I would not count on that, WU and the gang hold too many BTC just to destroy it cause they can.

I understand the position of people not wanting miners control the code but up to now we ve had BTC core control the code. What s the difference? They all have their own interests and this is the weakness of decentralization. There need to be some kind of mechanism which makes decisions. Consensus of all involved parties NEVER takes place.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Absolutely the Best explanation what will happen with SegWit2x and when! on: July 20, 2017, 02:14:00 PM
$2600 reached. Can we get to $2700?

I m not sure how much of this is due to the fact people withdraw coins from exchanges into safe storage so noone trades them. But this should reduce BTC to alts trade not BTC to Fiat.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Absolutely the Best explanation what will happen with SegWit2x and when! on: July 20, 2017, 12:38:03 PM
BITCOIN WILL NOT FORK!

I believe you meant to say will not SPLIT. the fork is happening and all the things you are explaining in your comment is saying it is happening. and with the current 79% of the blocks signaling for BIP91 which is for SegWit activation it is highly possible to have a simple, drama free, smooth fork. exactly like the P2SH soft fork which nobody even remembers because it was smooth Cheesy

Well, English is not my first language, but yes, your term s correct. Fixed! Thx.

The point is there will NOT BE TWO Bitcoins. Scheduled fork ll take place 3 months from but all miners will have to upgrade and accept SegWit2x. Not cause they like it or not but cause of not losing money.
The best single motivator - MONEY!

By using segwit2x software you are risking a 40 billion dollar marketcap in the hands of incompetent developers. You are delusional if you think all the miners will support segwit2x hardfork in 3 months. They are just signaling BIP91 to get segwit activated and avoid the august 1st drama. Once segwit is activated the majority of miners will go back to running safe Core software and not the btc1 crap.

Yeah, that s gonna happen. That s why they signal SegWit2x so they could not use it. Great conclusion bud.

Anyway, can I say $2600 BTC or not today?

EDIT: BTC price edging upward ($2360 or so) would hint that you are right in your confidence.

Huh? What do you mean "hint that I right"Huh

I m always right when talking about BTC. I do not give advice often but when I do, I m right. Smiley
I told people 3 years ago to buy DMD Diamond when it was 18 cents. Look at it now.

By coincidence (?), BTC has rocketed to ~$2450 since I wrote above.  Hmm, THAT kind of price rise would hint even more that you have an excellent read on BTC's situation.

You're on a roll.  Keep writing.  Maybe $2550 next hour?  Smiley

[This Bearing/Gold/BTC guy does not know enough about other cryptos to mess with anything other than BTC]

Buahahhahah. If only my posts would fuel BTC price rise. I d wear down this keyboard by the end of the day. Smiley

The point is there will NOT BE TWO Bitcoins.
There can't be two bitcoins in the same ecosystem anyway. If still the split happens,we will have a bitcoin and another altcoin. I read through the post, preciously written but hey do you think all the miners would play safe ? There is this little chance the split would still happen I feel.

There is so much confusion around the whole process, makes you wonder if this is early growing pains or is this going to happen again in the future? The decisions made now will impact everything going forward! I'll. Try reading the information posted to gather more knowledge, but sometimes it just feels overwhelming
I'm glad it will be working in bitcoin's favor. The post theymos wrote (which appears on the forum page) should be easy to understand.

There s no doubt in my mind all miners will fall in line. Cause even if it would split, the other alt Bitcoin would be so heavily dumped by BTC holders, into oblivion. Not to mention security issues, orphan issues, etc.
For large BTC pools, the best choice is to support BTC, let it grow and let price increase.

Expecting to reinvent Bitcoin via this kind of split is just foolish. Cause ordinary BTC holders are not involved into mining, only large farms are. So, if I have a majority supported chain, which is this 80% Bitcoin, I cannot mine the alt Bicoin cause I have no ASIC, why again would I hold it? What kind of benefit does it bring for me besides free coins to dump?

Nah, they ll all fall in under SegWit2x.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Absolutely the Best explanation what will happen with SegWit2x and when! on: July 20, 2017, 10:17:00 AM
Well, I cannot put in less simple words besides saying there s no need to panic, the upgrade s moving ahead of schedule and it will result in faster and more stable network.
Everything seem to be in order.

First things first, BITCOIN WILL NOT SPLIT! As you can read in this great article by Jimmy Song, all miners will switch to SegWit2x. Why? Cause if they dont, they ll lose A LOT OF MONEY. So newbies, stop panic, once more, THERE WILL BE NOT SPLIT. Speculators, stop spreading FUD, we talk about the future of entire crypto economy. So, at least for a couple of days, pls tone down your filthy tactics of spreading panic.

Second, thank you Jimmy Song for such a great piece.

For those interested, please read the entire piece here:

https://medium.com/@jimmysong/uasf-segwit2x-scenarios-and-timelines-1a540336c4be

I ll just copy a few lines stating:

"The earliest that BIP91 can lock-in is block 476784, which should be around ~2017 July 21 10:00 GMT. This would be ahead of schedule as Segwit2x was scheduled to be released July 21. This would mean that BIP91 would activate 336 blocks later at block 477120 (~2017 July 23 18:00 GMT). At this point, all blocks not signaling BIP141 (Segwit) would get orphaned off the network. Since presumably at least 80% of miners would not accept such blocks, miners that create blocks without signaling BIP141 would likely lose the coinbase reward and fees (roughly 14 BTC or $30k as of this writing). As such during the 56 hours or so between blocks 476784 and 477120, we will most likely see every miner upgrade (if necessary) to signal for Segwit."

Still, read the entire piece.

Look what it did to the price of LTC.

+1 to this one.

It resolved LTC scalling issue, it ll do exactly the same to BTC. The only difference is that few so called BTC devs and large holders would like for the entire community to follow what they want to have. This is why all this fuzz. LTC did not have it.

597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HELP: Banksters are conquering Uruguay. This could be the beginning of the End. on: July 20, 2017, 07:26:59 AM
Sorry to hear that.

That s why you have elections every 4 years. Just show them how you feel next time, there isnt much any of us here can do about it.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: July 20, 2017, 07:04:12 AM
I have a feeling that the premise of a Supercomputer for people to rent will not work out. I think it can't work. So Golem will not go as high as I would like it to go. I am heavily invested which puts me in an awkward position. I am a long term holder anyway. Interesting.

You re heavily invested into a project you think it ll fail??? Yeah, right. Dont embarrass yourself, these posts re really stupid. Go troll some other thread.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2x support growing day by day, WHY FORK FUD and PANIC on: July 20, 2017, 06:30:36 AM
How is it possible there re so many lazy and ignorant people here. After 2 weeks of explanations of what SegWit2x is and what does it take for it to get implemented, people still come here spreading FUD about the fork and when will that take place.

FFS, there will ne NO FORK, read a bit. It s all just smart attempt to make you sell your coins cheap. Dont be an idiot.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I buy bitcoin today, afte 1 August what is my bitcoin chain? on: July 20, 2017, 06:19:32 AM
There will no fork after Aug 1. So if you buy BTC now, your BTC will be on the only BTC chain there will be. If there would be another chain, it ll get obliterated in a few weeks cause nobody would mine on it.

SO STOP SPREADING FUD. There re tons of threads here about this issue and I repeat for 55th time, there will be no fork since current SegWit2x support is almost 90% and even Roger Ver will switch to Bip91 once he figures out his ideas re shit and he cannot control BTC.

Pls, it s so simply. If you buy/own BTC, just move them to a local (NOT ONLINE) wallet and keep them there till Aug 1 passes. By Aug 5, it should be safe to transact again and all this fuzz will be behind us. At least behind people who were not stupid enough to sell their BTC for $1800.

Good luck.
