guys is absolutely no sense in carrying out a public sale in such a market. there is simply no chance of raising money and, as other projects show, it is almost one hundred percent. many projects understand this and either refuse public sale or transfer it to another date.
You are right, it makes no sense having an ICO when its a sure thing that the target will never be achieved in this current market situation and just like you stated, most project have paused anything that has to do with such or implementation, so these are tough times for any fund raising thing in the crypto industry Cova team is making a very nice move on the private placement. Thats much better than going for public sales. I would like to get some Cova tokens in my portfolio. Yeah, me too. That's why I am also waiting to start their sale. But still couldn't found any information about the token sale. It has been mentioned a few times here in the thread that there will be no token sale in the traditional sense. Cova will sell the tokens at an exchange. If they succeed in voting, this exchange will be Huobi Great! I didn't know that they mentioned that they will going to sell tokens on exchange once we won the voting on Huobi and we really made it! So we will have a chance to have some good amout of COVA! i think they almost got to Softcap, so we shouldn;t be worring about that! however they are ready to launch MVP soon and development is really going on FAST! they have been talking about releasing MVP for the past couple of days i really don't understand what the team is upto. they should endeavor to release their MVP Yeah, The MVP is really late now and I don't think anyone know why? I dont think anybody have doubt on that. They will eventually achieve softcap and might also move higher. Well, I am confident that they will reach it but I was also confident that BTC wouldn't drop below 5k again. And here we are now. I don't wanna paint a bleak picture but raising funds in this extreme bear market can be hard. So maybe they could also work with the amount they got so far and don't have to refund in case they don't get the remaining 500k to reach the softcap. |

Ya I don’t see why people seem to be talking about not having a normal ico is bad lol. Having sales on an exchange is just a solid way to fit into the distribution model of a project like this

it is like the team are still working to ensure the whole plan works out, i believe they will come clean with such informations as soon as they are ready I think that we will get that details from their whitepaper link? I am also interested to see the allocated funds/tokens for investors, bountyhunter and community members. I have checked their whitepaper and also their Github page, but couldn't find anything about it. I hope they can release such important information very soon. |

Please do anyone know if exchange business is really profitable because it seems to me that almost all new ICOs in the space now are new exchanges, what I feel is that most projects want to be the new Binance which is a 1 in 100 example, Binance has a right go to market model and get it right, I don't know how projects cope now that the market has greatly dumped and for how long we don't know
Of course, there is no guarantee that ONAM will be the next Binance. And it's also true that there are a lot of exchanges already. But in my opinion, ONAM has features like their AI trade assistant that can help it to stick out of the mass. |

i will like to believe they are capitalizing on the fact that the market will recover soon but i still believe it gonna take some time before the market recovers in most threads it is currently only about the one topic. The big losses in the market. Of course it's bad, so if I look at what my tokens were worth a year ago and what they are worth today, then I could cry too. But I see this as an opportunity to invest in further projects. After all, next year it will almost certainly be the other way around, and then you should have already saddled your horses Isn't there a quote that goes something like 'buy when there's blood in the streets'? If you are still convinced that cryptocurrencies or blockchain projects have a right to exist and that their development is rather at the beginning than at the end, this long bear market can be seen as a great opportunity to stock up coins/tokens of promising projects. |

They might run a public token sale in the future, I believe the team are discussing the best way to raise more funding. Could be an ICO or an STO. Who knows!? I just checked their bounty on bounty0x and found a few members participating their bounty i dont know if some leaved or paused but the task is not so difficult to do where everyone can participate and easier to access, i love twitter campaigned the most, especially the owned tweet but there bounty are only 6 days left sad to say that i joined today, still 6 days is a not bad as long as i got some quality coin of this project rather than nothing.
I also participated in some Onam Bounty tasks through bounty0x. My submitted tweets are still pending, only the first one was accepted immediately. This is over 1 month ago. If you do not get something in return for your work, it's no fun. All those bounty sites that are taking over the campaigns for the ICOs are all overwhelmed. I think the projects should do the bounty campaigns by themself. That is the reason why I don't participate in those bounty campaigns anymore. You do the work and get no tokens for it. My tweets are also pending for weeks. When I first heard about ONAM I wanted to join their bounty on bounty0x too but for me, the problem already started with the registration on the site. I couldn't register so I gave up. Such a shame, it would have been nice to earn some more tokens. |

I think it’s save to say eth will drop to around 100 but it’s going to continue to be the de facto standard for crypto as it’s just too widely used and easy and I let will remain the most secure smart chain thanks to the insane amount of hash power so groups like BitMax using it are pretty safe in knowing that
The fact that ETH is the de facto standard for crypto due to its use makes me wonder why it is dropping with such velocity, I really don't think we will see the bull this year, but then again, it is just my thoughts. It's not only ETH that is falling, the whole crypto market is in a continuous downtrend so it's no wonder that ether is no exception. And I am with you, I think we have to be patient a bit longer to see the market make a turnaround again. |
