Despite of seeing lots of NOs in the poll you started, I'm not discouraged at all because I do believe that merit system intend to help us and improve the forum not to harm us.
Nice words. Eventually, merit system will help the forum to control and probably stop the spamming endemic, which come from spammers, account farmers (which has changed to merit farmers), shitty posters, one-line posters. Merit system and its mechanism help us (admin, moderators, merit-sourced users, and normal users) find account-farmers more easily. Next step is to apply forum rules (should be stricter) to ban them, and wipe them out. |

I am not bragging, but trust me, it is hard to get it but it is not impossible if you keep giving your best and just dont focus too much on it. 1 merit per day is already a great score if you can make it.
That's it. Users in the forum, particularly newcomers (I mean both newbies and Junior Members) should change their minds, their attitude on whether they will accept new rules of ranking system which in turn related to merit system. I think they have to accept the fact and the system. Over the history of bitcointalk forum, when new rules lauched, there are lots of controversy, complaints, crying threads, etc. but over time everyone accepted such new, stricter rules. Personally, I think admin of the forum did those ones in order to improve the quality, experience of forum users. |

This is a tough one... I see both sides: creating a new ANN and starting fresh with Qbic 2.0. I also see the value in leaving this page up and showing our community that although we're not perfect, we're constantly improving. Let us discuss this topic over the next week or so and hopefully by the time the website comes out we can have a clear path forward. However, please keep the feedback coming; we love it when the community participates and let's us know what they're thinking.

Yeah, QBIC project has experience tough, valuable lessons from un-well-managed signature campaign. I don't want to try to offend QBIC, but it should be fix with right approach, and should be more transparent in future campaigns. It will be better for QBIC project to move forwards like this, transparent, fair, well-managed plans for signature campaigns, bounties, airdrops, etc. Additionally, if you have plan to run additional rounds of signature campaign, I highly recommend to have more impressive signature. 2FA is very important indeed. Use it and you will be safe. As we already saw, this is not 100% safe, but it's much safer comparing with no 2FA. Good luck
When using the 2FA, as good authenticatior, send the code just before it expires, so no-one can intercept and abuse it in such short time. Really? Is it needed to do as you suggest? The countdown timer of 2FA is so fast, hence I think it's unnecessary. Do you agree? |

Yes I agree with you. There will be possibilities of selling and buying of merits. So those who are higher in rank can benefit with this and so their friends. With this case, merit system will tend to be unfair. But anyway, there are also some who are righteous and fair to their fellows especially like me, a newbie, who are willing to give to those who deserve it. And they are the ones to be called a role model and are very much worthy of appreciation.
