Carry or at least get a knife, and if not just be ready to fight. Travel in groups. Have a phone handy just in case.

Most of all, carry yourself straight and with confidence. Be aware of your surroundings. Hustlers and punks know in the first glance which ones to avoid and which ones are easy marks.

From a racial angle, non-blacks of any color should be fully prepared to fight against blacks in new orleans. To be unprepared otherwise or pretend you are down with em because you happened to be a bit tan is first ticket to being seen as their bitch.

Do keep in mind that crypto requires community members to work and contribute to a coin if they truly want a coin the succeed. Have you promoted it to your friends and family? Do you know financial sector employees who would like to know more?

It's not the kind of forex thing where you throw money and just sit on a stock. With crypto, especially altcoin scene the way it is, you must become involved and work for the coin you want to see succeed, using both your time, labor, and money to make it happen. Idea and suggestion are all fine and helpful, but bear in mind the degree of effort you actually contribute to a coin could also very well determine how far it will go and how much you earn from your 'investments'.

Treat it like work. At work you don't get to just throw out ideas and make a few post its with suggestions then say you deserve that 5k check after every month. Your time, labor, thoughts and investments all contribute to making an alt coin successful, not platitudes without sacrifices in efforts.

There is too much 'i just want to say what i want and alt coin better go the way I like it so i can dump' kind of mentality in the altcoin scene.

Do you know people in the financial world? Your co-workers at your job? Family? Friends? Let them know that there is a crypto currency that is being professional and show them nobl.

Work for the coin you like.

I take some fud as a sign of coin's growth and a healthy symptom of its rising position. It's a given that some sour grapes will constantly bleet about nothing significant.

Shadow is a good platform and excellent coin.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem in crypto currencies? on: August 06, 2014, 08:21:42 PM
People who are 'leading' it.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was Made by the U.S Government on: August 06, 2014, 04:43:08 AM
People who think bitcoin is suppose to 'revolutionize' anything and talking about crypto utopia sound like those idiots back in the 90s who were preaching that internet will grant every individual a voice with dignity and freedom to engage in a communal and utopic new world of cyberspace.

How the fuck do you willingly plug yourself into the most pervasive, extensive, and powerful surveillance tool and call yourself 'free'? Apparently there's no one easier to fool then people who are 'too smart' by half.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Sold $1k worth of Bitcoins to... a Black Guy (gasp) on: August 06, 2014, 03:55:32 AM

Yeah man that is everyone saying.

No Virus in the Wallet?

No virus in the wallet (I'm on Windows).

589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ARGENTINA COULD BE THE 1ST COUNTRY USING BITCOIN AS OFFICIAL CURRENCY on: August 05, 2014, 01:01:01 AM
Because a nation would select a 'currency' for itself which it does not control, has no control, and has its security based off of machines outside of its boundaries.

Is this a joke?
The Euro is setup very similar to what you are describing. The European countries give up control of their currency to the ECB in exchange for having a more widely adopted and more stable currency.

If Argentina were to use bitcoin as their national currency it would be for the same reasons. I do however doubt that any country will do this anytime soon.

Semantics is how most people try to play that game. Are you really going to compare the geographically clustered union of nations on a continent with electronic currency that is completely outside of their sphere of influence?

Talk about naive.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ARGENTINA COULD BE THE 1ST COUNTRY USING BITCOIN AS OFFICIAL CURRENCY on: August 04, 2014, 10:24:12 PM
Argentina is attempting to deflect its miserable financial decisions by blaming the very people they borrowed money from with full knowledge of the terms it agreed to. The terms which they broke again and again.

Not only did the loan 'restructuring' allowed them to steal half the loans they were obliged to pay back, but now they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for any excuses including nationalism to anti-US sentiment in order to deflect blame.

Imagine if some one borrowed money from you, you provided loan relief that essentially gave away half your investment to them for free, then they refused to pay back the rest.

That's called theft.

Fact is, Argentina borrowed money knowing full well it must be paid back with interest. The loan lenders did not demand anything more than what was initially agreed to on the contract, and even lost out through the generous loan restructuring agreement that gave away half the loan for free, which can either be called charity, or theft. Argentina decided they are not obliged to follow the mutual agreement.

They were mistaken.

Heard there's a bitch fest going on here with blackies and white people.

Mostly I hear black bitching.

Funny because rest of the world regard 1st world white vs. black bitching the same way they look at two gay boys fighting over who gets to wear the dress.

Grow a fucking spine.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SDC] ShadowCoin | PoS with PoW distribution | ShadowChat P2P EM System on: August 03, 2014, 04:01:40 PM
This will be strong competition for the other anonymous crypto currencies.

From what I can see, it can easily surpass most if not all anon coins in terms of quality and degree of technical upgrades being done on a coin, and I believe the market cap will reflect it in the coming week.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SDC] ShadowCoin | PoS with PoW distribution | ShadowChat P2P EM System on: August 03, 2014, 03:47:50 PM

Just keep punching out those results. Haven't seen a coin doing this well in a long time.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SDC] ShadowCoin | PoS with PoW distribution | ShadowChat P2P EM System on: August 03, 2014, 02:31:19 PM
That would have been a very good opportunity for me to increase my position. It was also a good entry point for new comers.

Weekends always show downswings due to weak buy pressures, and the prices were due for a healthy correction.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SDC] ShadowCoin | PoS with PoW distribution | ShadowChat P2P EM System on: August 03, 2014, 03:09:52 AM
Of course dudes.

EVERY COIN IS A COPY OF BITCOIN IN SOME RESPECT!! OMG SELL EM ALL THEY ARE ALL SCAM AND COPYS. I liked VERT before i read this, now i'm dumping my stash. I don't want to hold a QQ Coin clone.

I guess, you can't innovate anymore. SDC has given credit where it is due. Unlike microsoft when they ripped off xerox.

This ^

Do your research, make your choices, and most importantly do not spread fud out of spite. Not sure if I have seen a coin deliver actual results like this one in a long long time.

* Bold are the references who are the same in both Papers, where of course only the Bitmessage whitepaper is to be considered a real whitepaper.

First of all, if you write a whitepaper and add footnotes, you have to reference them in the text...But of course you cant because you reworded the text too much.
Second, you basically added a preample (We shadowcoin team believe in human rights blabla) and then reworded the Bitmessage whitepaper letting out all interesting stuff?

So, you cloned Bitmessage basically? Whats the point?

Funny you should play proofreader now, but honestly I don't see anything wrong with building on top of what's been established, developing it further with new additions that are both substantial and innovative, and creating a new coin based off of hard work and labor. From what I read, most white papers including this one contain very similar language and templates due to the fact that - They are all crypto currency. No surprises there.

Maybe you can go proofread all the other 'whitepapers' and tell me this one is any worse. For a crypto community managed project, this one definitely stands at the top.

I personally find the dev dedication, product quality, and community acceptance of new development a refreshing change from the collection of garbage coins in the past 2 months. This coin offers a real deal and a step in the right direction.

If the best you can do for trying to mess with a coin is moaning about references in the paper, you should know you are playing on the back foot here.

There's no need for misdirected fud for this coin. Dev did not over promise or over hype - this coin just punches out results after results.

So far I've only seen weak attempts at fud cherry picking facts to make things sound worse then they really are. Not only that, the dev answered each and everyone categorically and precisely.

I support this coin full heartedly.
