These things can handle more than "just" 381Mhz. Other than the clock speed I can't think of anything...you do an awesome job with fixing what the manufacturer shouldn't have left a mess in the first place. I'm hoping the limit can be lifted via software...otherwise it looks like we're on the way for a hardware based clock boost. Also - for whatever reason bfgminer 4.2.1 has an "issue" with manicminer.in pool. I can point bfgminer to nicehash and things work ok. Point it to manic and nothing happens. No accepted shares, no hashrate, nothing. It's very odd. I've cloned and compiled from your git source and the same thing happens. Like a moron I didn't do any debug logs though. I'll see if I can get those today if you need them. Ok next release I will cut it off by an override flag so everybody can configure it on its own. regarding manic i can test it with my blizzards. Nicehash causes me really high rejects multipool.us not, so I also have to look into it why one pool is stable and the other not...but be patient I am no HAL developer or hardware near developer. So what are the legal and technical formalities I have to be aware to get a licence for CAT?
As I see that some are selling their licence for 0.5 BTC, the first postings says 0.9BTC and in the German Altcoin forum it is announced with 0.8BTC....
So hope you cane give an advise how to proceed here?!?

Der Gridseed kann ohne Probleme an den USB Port angeschlossen werden. Hab es auch so, vielleicht liefert dein Netzteil einfach nicht genug Power, Port Defekt oder komische USB Treiber?!? Schwer zu sagen aus der Ferne, tippe auf letzteres. Da aber ein USB-Hub hab keien falsche/schlechte Investition ist, kannst du bis dahin noch folgendes machen... I really don't understand why you guys look at each individual contract and worry wether that lil bit is gonna break even for itself. It's nice to see what each contract does but it is not needed and I think PBmining has only opened themselves up to all these silly comments that it's not profitable by doing so. I've been mining over a year now mainly with actual hardware, I've been cloud mining for 2 months now.... When I add new hardware to my rig I don't worry about how much that specific piece of equipment is doing I worry about the TOTAL amount of GH/s I'm running at. Of course I wanna make sure each piece is running at what it's suppose to be running at but what it is making per week I'm not worried about. The TOTAL GH/s is what makes you money and is how I determine profitability. I've made alot of money doing it this way, Well OVER my INVESTMENT. I believe you guys are knit picking the shit out of this to the point that it's stupid. YES, if I would of just invested into BTC itself and not mining I would of made more money, I know that now and I do alittle of that but I like mining and it's nice to have another form of pay coming in. I know someone is probably gonna come along and tell me how I'm an idiot and blah blah blah I'm wrong but I've paid off my investment, my house, a car and bought some really nice things and even more miners by only paying attention to my TOTAL GH/s that my rigs combined have. I hope this helps calm some of you guys down that think this is not profitable. If you are only working with acouple GH/s it might not be profitable, but that's the way mining works, the more you have the more profitable you are gonna be! PBmining is great! Remember you are NOT paying any fees or electricity bills with PBmining either, unlike CEX. I'm also not sure what Germans say about horses in front of the pharmacy....... lol  Hi Steiny, you are right that in the end it doesn't matter what the individual contracts returns any positive investment or not. You have to count all contracts and things you do on top like dice games, advertisement, hardware invests, electricity, of course referrals etc. Every single variable can be the specific point, if an investment is good or bad. Personally for me it was the right choice as the calculations shows, during the left contract period the dif was not significant above the overall average. And this is the point, so many ppl calculate with 25% average for a long time, although the past shows other percentages. No one can say how dif will be in the feature and how the exchange course will fall/grow so everyone has to decide on its own to invest into PBmining or not. Personally for me: Yes it was right to deal with PBmining! Independent of the individual contract the decent ppl using my referral link give the portfolio a great spin. Would I recommend to invest? Sure, but as you see at the calculation...you can loos nearly everything and at the point you click purchase, you have to depreciate your money OOT: Nice to see that German humor is irritating for so many ppl |

Ich habe seit Ende Januar einige Anteile bei PBMining erworben und bin bis jetzt zu frieden. Da ich ja bei Minershare.net auf die Nase geflogen bin, habe ich erstmal nur 2GH/s zum Testen gekauft. Nach 2 Wochen zuverlässiger Auszahlung habe ich auf 47GH/s aufgestockt und lasse es nun einfach laufen. Der Support antwortet hier im englischen Beitrag oft und zuverlässig. Hatte auch via Mail Kontakt, da Chrome Autofill meine Straße als Bitcoinadresse eingetragen hat und das korrigiert werden musste. PBMining hat binnen 2 Stunden geantwortet und laut anderen Beiträgen unter 8 Stunden generelle Responsetime. Auszahlung ist immer Sonntags UTC-6, 07:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit / 08:00 Uhr bei Sommerzeit. Habe aber in den letzten Wochen meine Coins bereits gegen 23:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit erhalten Aktuell ist leider kein manueller Payout unter der Woche möglich. Mindestauszahlungsmenge für Sonntags sind 5300 satoshis (0.000053 BTC) und wenn du diese nicht erreichst, dann kommt die Auszahlung erst eine Woche später. für mich vollkommen OK. Im Grunde kaufst du für 5 Jahre Anteile entsprechend der ausgewiesenen Leistung, die zu 100% entsprechend der Difficulty bedient werden. Heißt also der Anbieter nimmt das Thema Mining-Luck aus der Kalkulation raus...mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Du brauchst dich also nicht um solchen Themen wie Pool, Worker und CO zu kümmern. Lediglich die Bitcoinadresse für die Auszahlungen sollte stimmen und vorhanden sein. Aber das kannst du mit der neuen HP auch nachträglich nochmal verändern. Es gibt keine Fees oder sonstige Umlagen, wie z.B Strom, auf die Auszahlung /den Ertrag. 100% Mining-Kalkulation anhand der Difficulty, sind also auch 100% in deiner Brieftasche. Mit den letzten Difficulty Anpassungen hat PBMining entsprechen auch ihre Preise gesenkt. Zwar nicht ganz Deckungsgleich aber dennoch bemerkenswert, fair und für mich doch sehr positiv überraschend!!! ALso es war nicht der Multipool, war reine Glückssache.
Watchdog nützt auch nicht lange etwas, da nach zu häufigen Reboots der Apachee und SSH Zugang futsch sind...auch wenn der CGMiner weiter fröhlich hinrödelt.
Versuche es jetzt erstmal mit dem Scripta Image für Gridseed, danach den Vorschlag von yxt....mal sehen was da hilft.

Nutzt einer von euch Minepeon 4.2.6 + CGminer 3.7.2 mit Gridseed support? Ist das beie uch auch so instabil, dass sich das System alle paar Stunden vollständig aufhängt? Zum Glück gibt es ja einen Watchdog Ich habe nur mal kurz scripta angetestet, läuft bis jetzt stabil: Miner 20h 44m 36s - Pi 20h 45m 41s Neil arbeitet an der Unterstützung für die gridseeds in minepeon, zumindest hat er es auf der Liste Die ersten Tage lief es bei mir auch rund mit Minepeon frag mich nur was das ist *grübel*. Schieb es mal auf den PI Version A wenn ich es herausfinde poste ich es gerne hier, ist ja vielleicht nochmal interessant für alle. Hey. Afaik hat das was mit dem USB-Treiber zu tun. Der ist etwas blöde implementiert. Ich hatte ähnliche Probleme, als ich mit einem seriellen GPS-Dongle am Pi experimentiert habe. Adde mal in der /boot/cmdline.txt (ans Ende der Zeile): Seitdem läuft das Ganze bei mir seit 3 Tagen ohne Probleme. Guter Tipp, nur ist der Commandline Switch schon Bestandteil von Minepeon Ich glaube es hatte eher mit Multipool und deren Switching Algo zu tun. Seitdem ich auf einen Singlecoin Pool gewechselt habe, läuft das ding wie blöde durch Ich werde weiter beobachten... |
