I check dmaxl code and see: #define ZEUS_CLK_MAX         382

It is dangerous to change to 400?

Dangerous not bit your miner will freaking out as the communication protocol of the controller cannot handle values above 382. So you can see the same discussion some pages earlier

After a long time I found time to start with day trading again, but whats this with Cat2.0 I got a Java Virtual Machine Launcher Exception: A Java Exception has occured.

Nothing more. Cat 1.4 works without issues. Any ideas?!?

EDIT: SOLVED
Was the issue that I haven't installed latest JDK 8: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html

Thx mulde for the hint!!!!

And this little piggy went hashing!

Customer: #630
Entry: #45

A lady goes into a bar with her goose. Then the bartender comes up to her and says, "Why did you have to bring the pig in with you?"
Then the lady answered, "Excuse me, I think this is a goose."
And the bartender says, ''Excuse me, I was talking to the goose.''

Got only one female adapter Sad
Nevertheless one blade is now running with 7.2 MH/s, 2.6% Reject, 4.8% HW Error  at 340MHz
As the rest of the connectirs will not be delivered prior Monday I will use the time to clean up the other blades and give some MX-2 to them Wink

As far as I know coinking and nicehash are pools which do not work well.
Multipool.us and clevermining are really great... Also others report that single coin pools also working...

Got a Thunder x3 with male connectors grrrr now I have to fix this fabric fail to get it running. Hope my PC dealer has some 6 pin extenders to use instead of cutting the wires of my PSU

Got replay from shipping team  Roll Eyes  they will send out 4 replacement wires Cheesy WUHUUU but do not think that this will arrive prior Thursday Sad
So I still have to do a bit customizing to the connectors to get started today ^^

Yeah 4 males is weird but seems like they were setup to plug straight into the psu

correct but a manufacturer cannot expect that everybody has a modular PSU with explicit 4 female PCI-E connectors as IN.
My PSU has this not as it combines two PCI-E 8 PINs to a 16 PIN IN with a Pin placement like:
0 0 0 0 12 12 12 12
0 0 0 0 12 12 12 12

so no chance without cutting the rope to get it fit Smiley

So the best would be that Zeus uses wire with female connectors in stock and places 4 additional male connectors to the package that all setups can be covered Smiley but this would be the German approach I think Cheesy

Here is the distribution matrix of my PSU...

Made an adjustment to batch file

Really nice, how much thermal past did you spend for this?
I am excited like a little kid to get my Thunder running this evening...hopefully Smiley

Command Lien would also be nice, so I can compare to yours Smiley

thx, mal sehen was die anderen Anfragen so ergeben Smiley melde mich dann nochmal

Netzteile und Kapatzität? Du musst Deine Netzteile musst Du selbst mitbringen.
Was meinst Du mit "hops geht"?!

ah ok verstanden.

Was würde mich das inkl.

572  Local / Biete / Re: Biete professionelles Minerhosting im Rechenzentrum Colobunker Bonn on: June 30, 2014, 04:38:44 PM

http://zeusminer.com/product/week-one-thunder-x3/

I am having a problem.

My WU is declining and has been.

This is with cgminer and bfgminer.

I hot plugged the miner in and think I fucked it up. Not sure. Ever since, WU decline below 1.2Mh/s after 12 hours and keeps declining. Never picks back up or increases.

I have it overclocked to 350 with diff of 2048. SHouldn't 350 get me 1.3-1.5?

After hot plugging it. 8 hour run. @ clevermining.

Bout to chuck this thing at the wall.

Somewhere ind the Litecoin-Zeus thread Terry stated that WU has to be multiplied by 1.09 to get the pool side speed. But nevertheless it is really under performing. I also have such a dives...same config but is constantly performing 150kH behind the others Sad
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: June 29, 2014, 08:33:49 AM
I'm using dmaxls beta 2 and am getting 1.68mhs on nicehash (381mhz clock).

more interesting would be what you get on pool side. The miner/GUI can talk much but the accepted hares are counting Wink

8 gridseeds + 2 Fury's on Nicehash.  You can see the large dip in the graph where the 2 fury's were offline (I was using bfgminer but took things offline to flash the new release of starminer and clone/compile the latest dmaxl cgminer), take note of the Minera hashrate (last tab in Firefox) sitting at 3.5Mhs.  I'd say the 2 Fury's are more than pulling their weight...and from the looks of it dmaxl's cgminer work is catching up to the speed of bfgminer.

and btw....I had been using your builds of bfgminer up until this latest release of Starminer (6/27) for mining on Nicehash (you can see the first peaks in the graph - that's bfgminer 4.2.2).  It seems to have some problems with the other pool I use so I have always had cgminer on the sidelines for mining at my other pool.

really nice. so it is good to see that cgminer is now on the same hash level. This solves much pain points in my bfgminer build.

As cgminer sometimes causes issues on my PI (freezes and lags) I am currently stay at bfg and look if I could do something to the community if same issues are recognized.

Hate sometimes my lack of programming such drivers Sad

i was able to use that tutorial for 4.2.1 however the first pool i put is regardless of eaht pool it is always shows "dead" i tried compiling 4.2.2 and i couldn't get it to switch to mining with 4.2.2 it just stayed at 4.2.1 i also couldn't get decent poolside hashrates with minepeon 4.2.6 and 4.2.1 . after about 45 mins my poolside hashrate only show 4mh/s, my miner side hashrates are over 7 mh/s. guess ill wait till the nect revision to try again.

just test with one miner per instance and also without any failover pool. Currently seems that is the most stable configuration now with 4.2.2

how do i run 5 instances on minepeon 4.2.6 and your bfgminer 4.2.1? i cant find and condig settings to run 5 separte instances?

The current web ui does only support one miner at port 4028 so if this is ok for you can do to create for each miner a separate screen instance and a dedicated config file like this:

/usr/bin/screen -dmS zeus0 /home/minepeon/bfgminer --scrypt --zeus-cc 6 --zeus-rc 300 --set zeus@/dev/ttyUSB0:clock=347 -S zeus:/dev/ttyUSB0 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner-zeus0.conf

/usr/bin/screen -dmS zeus1 /home/minepeon/bfgminer --scrypt --zeus-cc 6 --zeus-rc 300 --set zeus@/dev/ttyUSB1:clock=346 -S zeus:/dev/ttyUSB1 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner-zeus1.conf

You can also place this commands at the web ui under Settings -> Miner Startup as part of the bash

That's awesome.  I read that darkwinde was testing at rc of 270 but haven't seen results.

I would use that version but it doesn't work at all with manicminer pool which is where I usually mine at so I'm stuck with dmaxl's build of cgminer.

I'd like to get one miner that works for both gridseeds and Zeus hardware.  In tried building bfgminer with support for both last week but had no luck.  It would see the gridseeds but not the furys.

Seems to have no real effect on the miner as this parameter only enables the miner not going out of work, so think this will never happen in our cases with a counter around 300 Smiley

Independently I am currently looking into an observation that a clock 349 an rc 270 seems to be more stable (less HW error) on my blizzards but this can also be related to a better lower air temperature with the room. I will report if I found out something worthwhile but as I stated first, think RC has no real influence at the current stage.

My fury is gonna be here today. Is there a Darkwinde Windows binary?

If not which is best to use atm off windows OS?

Anyone have a default settings config for the fury? For windows binary. For scrypt. bfgminer.

OP has a link to DW's thread where he's got binaries linked.

yup. thanks, got it. Got the driver installed. Got bfgminer 4.2.2 on my desktop but no conf or bat.

Now I need a .bat or .conf default settings for the fury for scrypt.
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=20477.0

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://SERVER:PORT -u WORKER.NAME -p WORKER.PASSWORD --zeus-cc 6 --zeus-clk 340 -S zeus:all --no-submit-stale

I will use this.

Code:
{
"pools" : [
        {
        "url" : "pool:port",
        "user" : "username",
        "pass" : "password"
    }

]
,
"zeus-cc" : "6",
"zeus-clk": "333",
"zeus-rc": "300",
"api-description" : "cgminer v3.1.1-zm",
"api-listen" : true,
"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",
"api-port" : "4028",
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"nocheck-golden" : true,
"hotplug" : "5",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-serial" : [
        "//./COM0",
        "//./COM1",
        "//./COM2",
        "//./COM3",
        "//./COM4",
        "//./COM5",
        "//./COM6",
        "//./COM7",
        "//./COM8",
        "//./COM9"
]
,
"scan-time" : "1",
"scrypt" : true,
"shares" : "0",
"verbose" : true
}

Now how would I run this?

Like cpuminer uses config.json. What would cgminer use?

Edit:
I am already so frustrated with this.

Like for cpuminer "minerd" in the folder I would have minerd-gc3355.exe, config.json, start.bat.

start.bat has a cmd in it

Code:
minerd-gc3355.exe -c config.json
pause

That directs minerd to use the config.

How would I do this with bfgminer?

bfgminer.exe --config someconfigfilename.conf

or just -c file.config

also --help often show up interesting things Wink

Aloa,

as promised I implemented an override for the 381MHz cap and pushed it to git: https://github.com/Darkwinde/bfgminer.git

Add to your command line: --zeus-clk-override
and you can set any clock you like with "--zeus-clk". This is done on your own risk Wink

Example Linux:
Code:
./bfgminer --scrypt --zeus-cc 6 --zeus-clk 400 --zeus-clk-override -S zeus:/dev/ttyUSB1 -S zeus:/dev/ttyUSB0 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner-zeus.conf

Have fun and looking for feedback if everything works fine.
Darkwinde

I tried --zeus-clk-override on Windows using this build:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/2791-new-bfgminer-4-2-1-release-with-support-for-zeusminer-scrypt-asics/
but it doesn't start.  The BFGMiner window flashes up and closes before I can read anything. Without --zeus-clk-override the build runs fine.

right have reverted it, was a first shot without testing and understanding of kramble command protocoll, as it supports 8 Bit for setting the clock plus the complement as check sum, so if the HW implementation does not support any other clue we are limited here to 281 MHz. Sorry can not do anything against it...only Zeus...
