I don't get what this is about I mean like what is the use of wcg? Why would you hold or buy them?

You spend computing time for scientific research. as reward you receive WCG. We help to improve liquidity (increase volume and narrowing spread) in Ripple ecosystem, through market making.

same as XRP, because we expect the value of WCG will rise!

You said it all right there!  You don't care about scientific research.  All you care about is getting the value to rise so you can sell it and line your greedy SCAMMER pockets.

GO AWAY!  And take your SCAM COIN with you!

584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSV] ★★ Silicon Valley Coin ★★ - The Future | ✈ MailDrop | DigiShield ✔ on: March 30, 2014, 06:49:34 AM

From the article:

The hope is to gain mass adoption quickly and get people using cryptocurrencies in their daily lives but whether or not Mark Zuckerberg or Tim Cook will ever claim their siliconvallycoin is not clear.

Oh it's clear.  Neither one of those billionaires is going to have anything to do with this crappy scam coin.  Nor are the vast majority of those that live where these vouchers/junk mail are going to be sent.

I like this part especially "The hope is to gain mass adoption quickly and get people using cryptocurrencies in their daily lives"  that is years off if it ever even happens.  As far as the scammers that launched this coin, their hope is to get the price up and sell as much of the instamined coins as they can before the maildrop that will be a complete failure.  That's if they bother to stick around that long.

585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSV] ★★ Silicon Valley Coin ★★ - The Future | ✈ MailDrop | DigiShield ✔ on: March 29, 2014, 11:07:24 AM
I saw this on BITTREX this morning and plenty of volume being traded. There must be tons of interest in this coin already.

Yeah right.  24hr volume was $ 1,265 on Bittrex,  $ 322 on Poloniex, and $ 86 on Atomic trade for a total of $ 1,672.  The net hashrate is dropping as miners are fleeing this scam.    There is not much interest because it's an obvious SCAM.

This Scam isn't fooling anyone but a few ignorant morons that are too stupid to see it for the SCAM it is.

What are you?  Working with the Scammers or a fool?
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSV] ★★ Silicon Valley Coin ★★ - The Future | ✈ MailDrop | DigiShield ✔ on: March 29, 2014, 03:30:07 AM
This scam coin should be pulled off of coinmarketcap.  It's currently at #11 because they valued the 50% premine at the price these scammers pumped it up to.

SiliconValleyCoin   $ 8,758,517   $ 0.50   17,548,090 XSV**   $ 1,271

The valuation is based strictly on the 17,500,000 premine.  $ 1,271 in volume proves that nobody is buying into this scam.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/morganbrennan/2013/10/16/silicon-valley-tech-enclaves-top-our-list-of-americas-most-expensive-zip-codes/

In Atherton, Calif., 94027, the most expensive home on the market is listed for $33 million. But perhaps the best gauge of this Silicon Valley enclave’s exclusivity is the price of a starter home. The cheapest house for sale in Atherton, a 1,194-square-foot, two-bedroom bungalow on a 6,000-square-foot lot, has a $1.2 million price tag.

Six FORBES 400 billionaires reside in Atherton, including Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, discount brokerage tycoon Charles Schwab, and HP chief Meg Whitman.

Anyone that thinks Eric Schmidt and Meg Whitman are going to be bothered with this pathetic SCAM Coin are complete morons.  Yet these are the people that this SCAMMER has stated he is targeting.

This is a pathetic concept and a complete SCAM.

I have never seen so many complete idiots as I have on this forum.  So many fools that keep falling for SCAM after SCAM.   They're too stupid to see the truth that they make me out to be the bad guy and put me on ignore while they bend over and take a big one up their ass.

If it's being airdropped on affluent people they are less likely to dump. That should help keep the prices up.

We are targeting the wealthiest mail routes in each zip code, the USPS provides this data so we can target the correct demographics.

Solid Idea.  I agree that these people are more likely to hold the coins as an investment rather than dump them.

Yeah they may not dump them, but they may literally dump them.

Hypothetically, let's say they do literally dump them.  This drastically decreases the total XSV supply.  It's a win win situation for the miners either way.

Good point, but it would be great if XSV is circulated in Silicon Valley to get attention.  Maybe it's better to send to those that are more tech savvy and still affluent but not uber wealthiest.  Of course this makes it more complicated to determine mail route but I'm thinking blindy picking wealthiest area may not be the best approach.

Currently we will be sending them to zip codes that are associated with a Silicon Valley tech company, and from their narrowing it down to the wealthiest within that zip code.  We are targeting people who are most likely to bring innovation, wealth or both to not just our coin but to the entire industry.

Lets see here.  In approximately a month you'll be sending out vouchers worth a few dollars in an unknown altcoin to the wealthiest people in that zipcode.  That gives you plenty of time to dump as much as you can before you spam these wealthy people with junk mail that they will promptly toss in the recycle bin.  That's if you even bother with the mailing.

Just how is this a benefit to anyone but you and your cronies that hatched this scam and are currently selling whatever you can?

Anyone that doesn't see this for the SCAM that it is is a complete moron.  And anyone dumb enough to think that giving away some free altcoin to the wealthiest in America is somehow going to bring altcoins out of obscurity and into the mainstream is just a fool.

The dev and his cohorts in this scheme will be dumping as much as they can before any drop.

This is one scenario of how this scam is being played out:
1.  Create media presence, website, facebook, twitter, ANN on forum

2.  Do a premine 50% with 48% going to a maildrop and 2% left for dev.

3.  Leave the 48% in an address for people to see so you can claim that you're not dumping it.

4.  Claim the other 2% will be used for mailing, printing, and developer fees.

5.  Have coin listed on exchanges before working pool

6.  Launch the coin without working pools so that the dev and buddies can instamine

7.  After coin is launched lock registration to the one working pool so dev and buddies won't have to share.

8.  Start dumping as much xsv as you can as soon as you can

Are you serious?  Your pool hasn't solved one block since this SCAM coin was launched.  And you registered your domain the day before the launch.  I think you are part of this SCAM.  Why would anyone mine on a pool for a week and get absolutely nothing for it?  Oh wait, you and the dev are giving xsv to people to mine on your pool.  What are you doing?  Stealing their hashrate to mine some other coin?

Why would anyone leave the pool that has 90%?  Half the pools you have listed haven't found a block since the coin launched on March 18th.  You had to pay people to mine on other pools.

One pool has 90% hashrate and other pools haven't found one single block since the March 18th launch.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSV] ★★ Silicon Valley Coin ★★ - The Future | ✈ MailDrop | DigiShield ✔ on: March 26, 2014, 06:48:04 PM
They also launched with no working pools and instamined the crap out of the coin.  You could watch the block count and difficulty go up very fast.  They only had a windows wallet and there was no code released on launch.

Because of the planned instamine the dev does not need to touch the 50% premine so he can just keep pointing to the premined wallet address and fool the morons while he dumps his instamined coins.

All anyone has to do is read through this thread to see the obvious collusion involving several entities to pull this caper off.

This is how I believe they pulled this off.  They had colluded with both pools and exchanges. They had the exchange shill dbt1033, and the pool shill laterbreh (whose pool now has >90%). I believe that they were behind the ddos attacks on the other pools. Why? I am guessing the 50% pre-mine wasn't enough for them and this was an elaborate way for them to basically premine a bunch more, and get a head start on the confirms to get to market first.

Scam_exposer you are the most annoying guy in this forum. Go to reveal real scams, and go out from here. So this is a scam? And Aurora is also a scam?

Where do you ignorant fools come from?  The dev doesn't have anything to do with Silicon Valley.  The dev and his cohorts in this scam live thousands of miles away and have never even been to Silicon Valley?

You deserve to lose anything that you might lose.

What's wrong with one pool having 90% of the hashrate?  Are you tired of giving coin to the other pool operators to pay people to mine?

From Engineers pool front page:
2nd REWARD(New Reward Scheme Closed):
1 xsv per 1 Mhs for all who mine in our pool for the next 24hrs(Starts from your mining start time)

Engineers pool hasn't solved a single block since the launch on March 18th.

They have been paying people to mine.  Pathetic.

This SCAM is so obvious that it reminds me of STACKCOIN.

Looks like these PUMP and DUMP Scammers got onto coinmarketcap in the top ten without doing anything.

These clowns don't have anything to do with Silicon Valey.  They're 50% premine is just another pump and dump scam.

They claim that giving 50% of the coin away to the richest people in America is going to bridge some kind of gap.   People living in Silicon Valley will just toss their junk mail in the trash where it belongs.

It's amazing how people continue to fall for these SCAMS.  You better get in and out or you'll be left holding the bag while these con artists pretending to be Americans cash out their coins for BTC.

There is no way for them to prove who gets their mail drops or how many are cashed in by people in Silicon Valley.  This has been one of the more organized scams with collusion occurring from multiple parties.  Just read through this thread and it will become obvious that this is a SCAM and has been one from the beginning.  If you read the posts from the dev he is only concerned about getting the coin listed and the price going up so that he can dump the premine and put the btc in his pocket.  There is nothing about his vision for this coin other than the propaganda in the OP.

The entire thread is nothing but a bunch of greedy fools talking about the price of the coin.  There is nobody in the community that is involved in supporting/promoting this coin other than to sell at the highest price.

Pump and Dump Scam

"Residents will download the Silicon Valley Coin wallet and redeem their voucher on our site"

I swear you people really need to know the definition of a scam

All you did was cut and paste the crap from the OP.

Do you actually think that residents of Silicon Valley, the second largest collection of wealth in the United States are going to download some altcoin wallet and redeem these coins?  These are some of the richest people in the world.  Only a fool would believe that they would even care about some crappy clone coin launched by someone claiming to be American but likely living in China or the Ukraine working with their buddies to pull off this scam coin con.

And all you are doing is saying what you think is going to happen. Don't call something a scam you clearly do not know what the word means,
I bet you called the aurora coin premine and airdrop a "scam". I'm going to ignore you as you are clueless. Please go play altcoin hero somewhere else.

Go ahead and ignore me.  The day will come when you'll know I was right all along.

Ignore = Ignorance-Ignorant.  Keep your head buried in the sand and your eyes blinded by greed.

I'm not playing altcoin hero.  I'm just trying to expose an obvious scam.  How can people like you be so naive?
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSV] ★★ Silicon Valley Coin ★★ - The Future | ✈ MailDrop | DigiShield ✔ on: March 26, 2014, 04:46:15 PM
Why are block and mature times ridiculously high?
As soon as the mail drop starts the price will plummet
We are going to release our Mail drop chart with dates later today. Our mail drops will be monthly for 36+ months.  We are also targeting the top earners in the Silicon Valley. The USPS provides earning demographics. This will not only bring new innovation, but it will also bring new wealth to our industry. Each voucher will have an expiration date. Any unclaimed coins that expire will be used in another drop, that is why we included the + sign after our planned 36 mail drops.

So you have 3 years to launder the 50% premine into your own pockets.  Hey buddy do everyone a favor and quit insulting peoples intelligence.  Why would you take three years to mail out what could be done in a day?

Anyone that loses money in your SCAM deserves to lose it.
