I pm'd him a month or 2 ago and he said its still being actively developed. Response was very quick.
Sorry but this isn't good enough. There are people coming in the slack trying to pretend they got responses from him with insider information and no one can prove it. Even if he said it's still in development, that isn't saying much if he won't even come on the thread and explain what's going on or message people who have been following the project since the early days. Have you ever considered that it could be your aggressive attitude that the Dev doesn't respond to? This guy seems as genuine as they come. There is no reason to slap him down and call him out because you don't believe him. |

As stated in the above post I'm waiting until things have settled down before doing anything myself. This is great news. You're going to fork-off. Even if you don't, which I really hope you do, we'll hear the end of this artificial FUD storm that's impacted confidence and the price recently. And evidently the increased emails and DMs have pissed off the dev enough to remove his email address. Something he did before when there was a commotion and when it died down he put his email back so people with genuine support requests could get in contact with him. Like I said, bye bye. |

Dear all,
This project is indeed still being actively developed.
Due to nature of BitTorrent sharing, we have been experimenting with the possibility of migrating ZEC's zero-knowledge to VTR core to improve users anonymity and try to do without needing of reseting the current chain.
vTorrent 0.9.1z will be the first version to incorporate the zero-knowledge protocol and if resetting the chain is needed, there could possibly be a fork of vTorrent-Classic running by community keeping the 0.8.x chain.
There are some other plan along with this new chain, which is still being in discussion in our team.

It's easy to sit in an Ivory tower when you've just used a pump to exit and then hand down judgements on those who believe in the project long-term.
