581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon May Accept Bitcoin By October. Do you believe? on: September 26, 2017, 09:33:38 AM
Not really a surprise... Every business that will allow bitcoin, will have a better source of income, as we all understand that BTC is going to grow for the next years.
More than that, it's a sign of good health to use innovative and new ways of transaction for a company.

The only point that might stop them, is that if government doesn"t allow them to do that.

I hope business will win this fight with governments. BTW governments should serve people and business but not otherwise.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Amazon May Accept Bitcoin By October. Do you believe? on: September 26, 2017, 09:13:25 AM
There are news about accepting bitcoin as a payment at Amazon. Here is the link to cointelegraph article. If this would be true we will get huge pump of the whole cryptocurrency market at October/November. What do you think about it? Just one more rumor?
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Coins:buy during ico or in exchanges when price fall on: September 22, 2017, 02:39:13 PM
I'm always trying to catch dumps after coins get listed at exchanges. As a rule the price soon gets back to ICO price. It's good opportunity to make good profit!
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best Coins this year ? on: September 19, 2017, 05:34:49 PM
The best coin of 2017 is definitely Ethereum. It gained 4000% since 1st January 2017 and provided the best crowdsale platform ever. It's really the God Father of crypto))

586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to do when price keep dropping ? on: September 18, 2017, 07:39:07 AM
If you are sure at coins that you have - you need just calm down and wait. Dip corrections are pretty common for a such volatile market. So if you haven't nervous strong enough you will lose [money, health, time] here at crypto...
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How cryptos affect your life? on: September 18, 2017, 07:31:31 AM
Researches about cryptos and ICOs are my life now - youtube, twitter, telegram, medium, slack, blockfolio, etc...)) And I do sports to be in good shape =)
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: sites similar to Bittrex.com on: September 18, 2017, 07:26:08 AM
Actually bittrex is the best exchange for trading altcoins. There are different exchanges too, but Bittrex was never hacked, they solve issues pretty fast (even if they appeared at all) and so on.
You can check existing exchanges here.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with Airdropped Coins on: September 15, 2017, 08:48:10 AM
As I know OmiseGo is one of these coins that will be growing sufficiently in the middle term. Dont think it's a good idea to dump them now.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Minister: It's 'Impossible' to Ignore Cryptocurrencies on: September 14, 2017, 08:25:23 AM
Russian Ministers are only able to deny Grin seriously, these guys are not going to get into it, they just want to ban everything.

This is correct claim)) They want to earn money, but everybody around should not do this. If crowd can earn money with crypto the officials want to get fees. But they are not able to do this (and they won't be able I suppose). That is why they trying to forbid such kind of things. But they are stupid enough not to understand that this ban will sink their own boat. Russia is just like China at this matter.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I convert my bitcoin to Ethereum? on: September 11, 2017, 11:01:11 AM
My advice is to divide your portfolio between these coins if you want to reduce an investment risks.
As for me I'm fully at altcoins.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Blockfolio vs Coinmarketcap app on: September 11, 2017, 10:54:36 AM
I don't use coinmarketcap application but I'd like to share things I use.
I'm always using portfolio at cryptocompare.com. There are several reasons:
1. Synchronization. I can't use Blockfolio just because it's not convenient when you have more than one device. Moreover, there is no cloud backup.
2. Many portfolios. Blockfolio can't manage different portfolios while cryptocompare can.
3. Desctop version. I like to manage my portfolio via desctop - it's much more convenient than at smatphone.
Cryptocompare has cons too. For example, the lack of small cap coins.
But I use Blockfolio app too, for price alerts.

Totally agree.
BTW cryptocompare has very nice UI design.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: September 11, 2017, 10:49:41 AM
Can anybody explain to me how to connect the electrum xvg wallet? Even after 5 hours research I dont find a slution. Verge is completely useless if its not able to transfer that coins. Can not sell anything.

Hey, look at this post:

Hey guys! I need help with my Verge wallet. I downloaded the Windows one, the regular, not the electrum one. I downloaded the latest blochchain - September 2017 but the wallet is still out of synch with 0 connections. What do I need to do?
Hello, just close your wallet, then you can create a VERGE.conf in your "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\VERGE" directory, with this text in it:

Code:
addnode=104.131.144.82:21102
addnode=104.236.107.27:21102
addnode=104.237.2.189:21102
addnode=116.251.193.36:21102
addnode=138.197.68.130:21102
addnode=138.68.108.250:21102
addnode=159.203.121.202:21102
addnode=167.114.208.68:21102
addnode=172.104.157.38:21102
addnode=216.15.40.124:21102
addnode=45.32.129.168:21102
addnode=45.32.242.173:21102
addnode=45.55.209.243:21102
addnode=45.55.59.206:21102
addnode=46.4.64.68:21102
addnode=61.164.253.37:21102
addnode=68.66.193.48:21102
addnode=69.197.128.125:21102
addnode=78.46.190.152:21102
addnode=80.98.74.43:21102
addnode=91.121.82.47:21102
addnode=94.130.19.114:21102
Then start the wallet again and it should sync. If not, then you need to check your firewall/network settings.

597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest news - BANNING from Russia, Korea AND China on: September 07, 2017, 08:20:03 AM
Quote from the news:
Russia should create its own alternative to Bitcoin and Ethereum because they are ?developed on foreign cryptography,? a senior politician has said.

Not sure why a country want its own crypto or any people want to use it, it just seems so conflicted. Maybe i am missing something?

Russian officials don't want to study the question about cryptocurrencies as far as they should. Stupid claims and statements sounds every now and then. They understands the power of crypto, but can't catch it, can't manipulate. So that's why they look like shaved bear attacked by bees.

sounds like you locked it. did you put a password/encrypt it? if so, please unlock it.

Yes, it's locked. But I cant find any option to unlock it. It's just offline. I was trying to find something about it and there is only one thing tied with password word in "Wallet" submenu, but it's for password changing.

The main problem is that wallet offline. I see it tries to get to online, but unsuccessful(((

are you using the new windows version?

Yes, it is. I've just updated nodes to these

Russian officials don't like things where is big money and they can't get it. May be they don't understand the nature of crypto and the real sence. But most likely they are nervous because they can't get taxes and fees. But there is one small detail at their statement - they prohibit only bitcoin trading, morons...
