Great!!! To be sure I understand, the next dividend we receive will include our share of the ASICMINER dividend as well as the proceeds from the liquidation of these shares?

Thanks!

Hey Everyone, quick update. We now have over 12,000 AM shares! Pricing is pretty good at the moment, and possibly the cheapest depending when you look.  We have had our first successful withdraw and even more deposits! I look forward to continue working with everyone.
Also, Ukyo has turned on options trading and rewriting for those wanting to get guarenteed pricing against price drops/increases! Already a few posted.
Best Regards

I have been a bit slow at responding, but your are continuously changing your mind.
The PT is not your private exchange to MPEX, it's meant to be used in such a way that your trade on BF not on MPEX,
If you want to trade directly on MPEX you may do such by getting a account on their on switching to a broker which lets you do as such.

The only reason why I have added this feature is because people wanted me to,
It's not in the contract and it never have been.
It's simply a feature I added because I wanted to be nice.
If me taking two days of destroys your trading, then you probably would like your own account.

I am sorry for the delay, it was not originally intended but please keep in mind the MPEX trade feature is something that I do out of my kindness, it's not a service I charge for nor am I obligated to offer this service to you. I am not your private broker, I am a PT, please realize the difference and use the exchanges that are at hand to trade you shares.

I will try my best to make transfers and orders happen within 24-74 hours period. I never promised time frames, and you never asked.
Let me reiterate, the Pt and myself are not your private arb system. You will need your own account.
You have asked me to place over 4 different SALE ORDERS (not transfers) on your behalf on MPEX in the last few days alone. This is not the purpose of the passthrough. If you want me to transfer the shares to your mpex account, please let me know.

Hi DT,

Can you confirm a third dividend payment today for ASICMINER? How many BTC do you hold now in dividends for us?

In two weeks the weekly dividend will drop at least because the IPO money will have been paid back to the preferred shares. (This could change up or down depending on competition or additional hashing power from ASICMINER's second batch.)

Thanks!
Hello Smiley
Yep a third dividend has been received.
A total of about 310 BTC are currently being help.

//DeaDTerra

Thanks DT. Can you make a payout next week? We should be close to 500 then and it will have been a month.

Quote
I will as usual wait until we have 500 ish BTC to pay out but as it might take a while before we get up to those numbers I will lower the amount until I pay out.
I will try to pay out once or twice a month.
That's the plan Smiley

Deadterra, why you didn't tell the guy he can lockdown 250+ shares out of bitfunder. Or did I get my info wrong ?
Ah yes ofc, shares can be moved from and to BF, as they are 1:1 backed by real shares Smiley
if you have over 250 shares you can simply withdraw them for AM shares.

wow, I've only been lurking on the lending page for a couple of days. Hadn't seen $13,500 on offer at VIR before. Is that outside of the norm or not?

It seems USD demand is very low currently. Probably noone wants to risk going long on leverage with a (still possible) crash or at least decrease. Am I analyzing this correctly?

That seems like a valid conclusion. I also think that a lot of people are cancelling their loans and closing their long positions resulting in that a lot of capital is freed up.

There are 2 pass throughs that have been setup where you can buy ASICMiner shares.

https://bitfunder.com/asset/G.ASICMINER-PT
https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT

Thats not what i search and i cant buy asicminer shares there, only shares that pass through asicminer. And that means i dont own the asicminer shares. When the issuer decides to run i cant do anything against and dont have anything. That would only mean another layer of insecureness between.
I want to buy real asicminer shares only.
I have been running a fund with at the top 15000 Bitcoins, if I would have like to run, I would have done so a long time ago Smiley
I am here to stay for the long time,
http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=DeaDTerra
I have been following bitcoins for two years and I wouldn't do anything to that could damage Bitcoins or it's community.
I am also sure that FriedCat would make sure that I would not get away with running away.
My ID is being held in escrow by kluge, my full name and ID is also known by  handfull of individuals of the community.
//DeaDTerra

I didnt mean to insult you because i dont know who ran the PT. I only know glbse and the experiences with it so i will avoid any potential risk if possible.

Gabit... ill try the unified thread...
I didn't take it as a insult Smiley
Simply wanted to show that even if it's a extra risk, it's a pretty small risk Tongue
Even if BF shuts down, I can return the shares to the shareholders of the PT Smiley

Perhaps look in the contract specifications on page 1.

Supplemental dividend plan:
“Friedcat” has confirmed that once the passthrough reaches 5,000 shares it will receive a board member seat. The current ASICMINER plan is that each board member will receive a trial ASICMINER mining board. If the passthrough receives this board, 95% of the mining income will be paid out to the shareholders of G.ASICMINER-PT as an additional dividend payment. Additional dividend disbursement will be no more longer than every ASICMINER dividend disbursement. At the discretion of the G.ASICMINER-PT issuer, these extra dividends may be distributed sooner.

It will be hosted by either me or by a third party for example Jon Montroll.

How long would transfer of shares into passthrough take? There are Dividents anticipated for Wednesday.

Your shares would not be in limbo.
Friedcat will pay either you, or the PT the divs for the shares.
You will get yours either way. Smiley

I am sure DT will check the transfer confirms from Friedcat before processing divs.
And even if there was some sort of awkward mishap, DT has proven trustworthy that he would fix it asap.
I received a pm this morning with the updated list of new ASICMINER deposits Smiley
I will import them in just a bit, please be patient.

Out of curiosity, what does the G in G.ASICMINER-P refer to?

Gamma. Smiley

DT prefixes all his assets with G.
It's reserved for him. Tongue
It's my thing xD
Started with Gamma Bitcoin Fund and then spread to all my other assets Smiley
If it's Gamma before it's usually run by me Cheesy
