Great decision DT. Smiley

Do you have any idea when the trial board will start to give us dividends?

I assume that ASICMINER will run it for us, rather than shipping an actual unit.
ASICMINER will ship it, the whole idea is that they ship it.
That's why the trial board exists to show transparency and proof of the technology.
Friedcat said he will send it after the second batch is completed.

Yea I would like to see this one closed up as soon as possible.
The earliest GBF can close is at the end of the Teramining contract which runs for 9 months from the date the BFL ASICs start mining at GigaVPS. Expect this to run until the end of this year at least.

Good move on putting them on BF!

Hi DT

I just first want to say thank you for always being available to answer questions and making sure that your investors can trust you.

As someone that has invested in GBF last year and not being too clued up as to what is actually happening with the closing and paying out of the fund, is it possible that you can perhaps post an update in plain english what the process going forward will be with regards to the outstanding BTC owed to the investors? Also, what part does the ASIC miner now play in all of this and when can we expect our funds to be returned. I'm sure there are some other investors that's also wondering the same thing and that's not too clued up on all the markets and where the fund is now.

This will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Well, a whole bunch of ASICMINER trades just went through at 0.695, and the lowest ask is now 0.744.  0.7/share is definitely a realistic price, and it's probably too cheap now!

(check my math below before relying on the results)

Want to know how much ASICMiner value is in your personal Gamma shares?

Gamma investors can calculate their percent ownership of the total fund from here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjO5QWRR9dAHdHZJRE1WRU00RWVEcEFNT0FQWmtlYmc#gid=0

(while the numbers in the 'A' column are outdated amounts due to partial payouts, they are still useful for calculating percent ownership of remaining assets)

Divide your personal number in column 'A' by 7214.14 (the grand total of column 'A') and that's your percent ownership of Gamma.

Multiply that resulting percent by 4607 (the fund's number of ASICMiner shares) and multiply that result by the current market value of ASICMiner.

(currently ~0.695 BTC / ASICMiner share)

For example, Investor #100 would calculate his value this way:

(188.78 / 7214.14) x 4607 x 0.695 = 83.79 BTC worth of ASICMiner

Hi DT,

Can you confirm a third dividend payment today for ASICMINER? How many BTC do you hold now in dividends for us?

In two weeks the weekly dividend will drop at least because the IPO money will have been paid back to the preferred shares. (This could change up or down depending on competition or additional hashing power from ASICMINER's second batch.)

Thanks!

Thanks DT. Can you make a payout next week? We should be close to 500 then and it will have been a month.

Quote
I will as usual wait until we have 500 ish BTC to pay out but as it might take a while before we get up to those numbers I will lower the amount until I pay out.
I will try to pay out once or twice a month.

395 ASICMINER Shares sold at 0.8,
I will keep posting asks at reasonable prices and sell of slowly and surely to not crash the market.
A dividend will be paid out after the next AM dividend.

Great!!! To be sure I understand, the next dividend we receive will include our share of the ASICMINER dividend as well as the proceeds from the liquidation of these shares?

Thanks!

Woud it be possible to get the list of investors / holdings spreadsheet updated as these payouts happen so we can keep track of how much we might still expect to receive?

There is no amount you can expect to receive, as discussed earlier. The payouts are based on the amount we can liqudate not the amount held in the accounts.
No guarantee was made of this balance nor of any profits potentially made.
I will pay out all liquid assets and the dividends from all illiquid assets until there's no assets left.
