I thought I read somewhere that the sale of virtual currency is prohibited by their terms.

It is prohibited, but I have my ways of securing funds.

is this verified? anyone tried it? i am looking to buy some coins

I had another sales thread open too clicky here, but I decided to create a new jazzed up one because I want to do this in the long-term.

I'm also a long term exchange on HackForums with no scam reports, only a few idiots who thought that I did scam them because I was ill for two days and when I returned payment was promptly sent out to them. Some people just don't understand that I'm a human too.
585  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Buy/Sell] BritXchange.eu - Cheap, fast and trusted. on: December 26, 2012, 01:36:51 PM
If you're trying to indicate some sort of disadvantage to me using PayPal in currency exchanging, I have that covered. I'm not new to this, I've pretty much perfected how to safely move PayPal funds when exchanging currency with a very very small failure rate.
586  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Buy/Sell] BritXchange.eu - Cheap, fast and trusted. on: December 26, 2012, 01:13:19 PM
I can do both.
587  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 10 BTC for Paypal on: December 23, 2012, 07:33:13 PM
I'll do this for you as long can prove ownership of the PayPal account, I may also call up PayPal and ask them to check for any anomalies in the account.

How much do you want for it?
592  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 1 BTC on: December 23, 2012, 06:30:52 AM
I can do this as long as you can verify ownership of the PayPal account.
593  Economy / Currency exchange / [Buy/Sell] BritXchange.eu - Bank / PayPal - 0% fee. on: December 23, 2012, 06:27:47 AM

I'm a UK based trader who has been currency exchanging personally since 2004 and commercially since 2009. I have lots of experience in the currency exchanging business and have traded & done deals well into the thousands range. I despise scammers and constantly aim to prosecute for the highest possible penalty. I report every attempt to the respective authorities. With that said I pride myself in running a fast and safe service. Customer satisfaction & safety is my number one concern.

My fees are simple and cheap. They are listed below depending on the payment method.

PayPal.

If you are selling: 10% less than the current MTGox price. (10% of MTGox price - current MTGox price = what I pay you.)
If you are buying: 15% more than the current MTGox price. (15% of MTgox price + current MTGox price = what you pay me.)

UK Bank Transfer

If you are selling: 0% more than the current MTGox price. (0% of MTGox price + current MTGox price = what I pay you.)
If you are buying: 0% more than the current MTGox price. (0% of MTgox price + current MTGox price = what you pay me.)

I take the following and offer payment methods:

UK Bank Transfer.
PayPal.

Please note for PayPal I may ask for further verification. These may include requests for an ID photo matching the name on the PayPal, proof of address and the address must match the one on the PayPal. This information will be kept up to 180 days (maximum time for a credit card chargeback via PayPal.) to prevent any fraudulent attempts. This information can and will be used to file a police report against you and put you on a PayPal blacklist. PayPal funds may also be held for up to 3 days as further checks are made.

You can PM me on here.

595  Economy / Goods / ★ Xch4ng3's Game Store - Bitmit with Escrow ★ on: December 10, 2012, 01:26:47 PM

Intro:

I am now selling games for all your favourite consoles. Including but not limited to Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the new Wii U console. These items are obtained 100% legally. They are not carded, socially engineered or obtained in any way that will get you in trouble. The games you will receive are brand new and sealed. A little run down on why I believe it is best to stay legit:

When you fraudulently pay for something, the merchant is left with the charge back. Now depending on how badly you piss someone off this could lead to further investigations being launched. I don't support this at all so it is something I would never do. At the end of the day the person being paid gets away clean and the buyer is left with a bill or a criminal investigation. Not worth it. The same goes for socially engineered goods, most of the time you end up with a massive bill to foot. We all saw it happen with the Kindle fiasco last year.

With that said, the rest of this thread will explain most of the things you need to know.

Products:

Black Ops II (PS3)
Blac Ops II (X360)

Prices:

Prices vary, discounts range from 5%-40% off.

Payments & Shipping:

I will accept the following payment methods:

- Bitcoins.
- Liberty Reserve.
- PayPal. (Payment is subject up to 7 days holding time and further verification checks as I deem necessary.)

I am not aware of any middleman / escrow services on here, so if you know of any please post the links and I will let people who don't want to go first with me use a middleman.

597  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: anonXchange scam! on: December 09, 2012, 07:23:25 AM
I would never trust an .onion site with my money to be honest. You never know when they could up & run away. I'm not saying all .onion sites are scams but there's no authority for them to report to if something goes wrong.
598  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER: caradenada on: December 07, 2012, 07:00:36 PM
He must have robbed the person blind cause he had all there info, and his bank this its him too lol.

Not uncommon to find credit data which includes everything to bypass a credit card processor, but since he used his residential IP address, it's unlikely he was trying to bypass any AVS checks. Game over.

EDIT: meant to say geo-region checks. /facepalm.
599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Setting up a Server at home on: December 07, 2012, 04:29:56 PM
Need a little bit more details, by file server what do you mean? Do you mean that the files would be accessible on a LAN or WLAN? However, to start off with I would use Linux Mint. I loved the GUI for this and it was my first step into running a server for my projects.

http://linuxmint.com/

and then LinuxApacheMsqlPhp should be all you need.

http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/486

Follow the instructions and you should have a basic server to use for your personal use.

Quite simple: I am Brazilian and I am a customer of Banco do Brasil. I had direct experience with different types of card issued by Banco do Brasil. The initials of the card numbers are from two types of credit card, platinum and classic. Neither cards work with USD, only with BRL (Brazilian Reals). Cointell has already confirmed that he purchased goods with USD. That is impossible, the payment processing system would never accept a payment made with BRL. The only credit card issued by Banco do Brasil that could be used to convert BRL to USD would be the international type.

Well...you learn something new every day. Glad at least someone has the sense to see that their not Entropay cards.
