sorry to post here... but i cant post anywhere else on this forum. can you please help
I don't see your question anywhere.
If you have some specific problem with mining at Deepbit, you can also use e-mail (at the bottom of any pool's webpage).

AFAIR, slush was the first one to implement JSON API, so I just used same keys when possible in my version of API.
That's why it says "confirmed_reward" instead of just "balance".

So, instead of typing:

Code:
python poclbm.py --platform 0 -d 0 my.email@gmail.com:xxx@pit.deepbit.net:8332

Type your account Deepbit info correctly :

Code:
python poclbm.py --platform 0 -d 0 my.email_somethin@gmail.com:deepbitaccountpass@pit.deepbit.net:8332

Hope this will help!
Actually it's my.email@gmail.com_something, not my.email_something@gmail.com
Also you can change the default worker's password (the one that has the same login as your account) and use it.
587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: May 14, 2012, 06:10:18 PM
I know the server is: pit.deepbit: 8332
I only have a worker email and can log into deepbit without problems

Is the server setting right?
No, you should use pit.deepbit.net instead of pit.deepbit

I'm looking at the pie @ bitcoin watch and it looks wierd...

BTC guild with pool speed of 1,591.79 Gh/sec is taking 15% of the pie.
Deepbit with pool speed of 3,198.49 Gh/sec is taking 18% of the pie.
Unknown is 37% of the pie.
Use this.

@DeepBit: Is it ok to have two (or more) miners running under the same worker account? Or will this cause trouble?
You can use up to 20 miners under same worker account with LP support or unlimited number of miners if you don't use LP.

Using one miner per one worker account is convenient because you'll see which ones are still working and which ones aren't (in case of some troubles on your side).
590  Economy / Services / Mining contract offer (checking demand) on: April 20, 2012, 02:52:04 PM
I would like to know is someone will be interested in buying mining contracts with following terms:
1000 BTC upfront for 1 year (365 days) of 5 GH/s hashpower or 36 628 938 accepted shares (preferred), directed to your account at Deepbit.
LR payment is also possible. Smaller hashates are available, but those may be less interesting for me.
591  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Does anyone still offer Mining Contracts? on: April 15, 2012, 02:59:54 AM
Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone offers mining contracts?
Yes.
592  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Who has the highest hasing rate? on: April 15, 2012, 02:59:07 AM
Mystery Miner has ~1.35TH/s, I believe.
Its a problem, because they prevent their blocks from including tx, so about 15% of blocks have no tx, slowing down transactions.
Mystery Miner's ip is spanish.
Theorys include a botnet, and the government forcing its citizens to pay tax in mining power.
MM is not producing 1tx blocks ATM AFAIK.

i have problem with GUIMiner, where i can find Phoenix for w seven?
You can check miner threads here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=42.0
Also you can try cgminer if Phoenix doesn't works on your system.
594  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [284 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining Pty Ltd DGM downtime coming on: February 06, 2012, 12:41:36 AM
So I'm not sure what Tycho (165519) or deepceleron (3 deepbit blocks) are talking about.
Maybe deepceleron means some of the '?' blocks 6 blocks after the one being discussed :P
At this moment blockchaininfo's "orphan block" page shows incorrect branch as the winning one. It was changed at least once, but still wrong.

165525-165526-165527 are Deepbit's blocks.
595  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [284 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining Pty Ltd DGM downtime coming on: February 05, 2012, 11:19:25 PM
I already fixed it.
596  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [284 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining Pty Ltd DGM downtime coming on: February 05, 2012, 10:29:07 PM
thanks deepceleron
we did find a block AND managed to be on the correct side of a 2 block fork!! some luck :D
165519
Blockchaininfo somehow shows it on the WRONG side...
597  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: What I love about P2pool on: February 05, 2012, 08:05:55 PM
2- O P2Pool CAN and SHOULD have more than 51% of the hashpower! That's it! If P2Pool owns, for example, 80%~100% of the hashpower, we will be much more safe!!!;
100% of the hashpower by single software solution is not a very good idea. Some bug or exploit can lead to a disaster.
Yes, it sounds good, but 100% is not healthy for ANY single entity.
598  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3609 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: February 05, 2012, 07:16:24 PM
Anyone having an issue with payments? The site lists the payment as being processed and links to this as the block explorer link under the payment date section to a link that is "No such transaction"
Was it automatic or "instant" payment ?

No, we don't have any issues with payments at this moment.

No, I mean the ability to assign different workers to different GPUs.  I think it's crazy to aggregate all GPUs into one worker.  Then you never know if a GPU is having issues.
Today's problem is experienced with GUIminer/poclbm, not CGminer
