Please players, don't abuse our tournaments by signing up and sitting out trying to get some money that way.
Keep it fair.

For the people who didnt know yet:

We changed the structure to make the games more exciting. Tables are now 6 max, starting stack is 1500 chips and blindslevels are 8 minutes. The old structure was too boring, and nobody wants to play 2 hours for a $13 prize pool...

3 people in the freeroll now? This is a steal ^_^

But first things first...
586  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls - 0.1 BTC prize pool! on: May 01, 2013, 05:35:41 PM
Thanks for freerolls !

I would ask Hand History in TxT format ?
And maybe a button for reload chips at table ?

Thanks
Hand history in txt format is already designed but still needs to be built. We decided to give a non-download client in the website priority.
At this moment the chips can be reloaded by right clicking on the table and choosing add funds to table.

Hi people,

we found a solution for the people who sitout. The hourly freerolls will resume at 2PM EST. Registration will start 30 minutes before start of the tournament to prevent the abuse we have seen before.

589  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls promotion cancelled on: May 01, 2013, 08:48:10 AM
Well I enjoyed the hourly freerolls as long as it lasted. Hope you can find a solution Smiley

Another nice "promotion tournament" would be an added tournament. So like 0,1 BTC buy-in.. then 0,5 BTC added or something like that. Ofc only one tournament like that in beginning. IMO that could trigger people to put some money on there.. at least I would Smiley (maybe this is for a later stage as you guys are still testing too.)

Good luck.
Thanks Smiley
We will have the tournaments back up soon. Just have to build something against these sitouts Wink
590  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls promotion cancelled on: May 01, 2013, 07:31:06 AM
We cancelled the 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls as there were tournaments with only 2 active players and the rest of the players sitting out, hoping to catch some prize money while sleeping  Huh
591  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls (0.1 BTC Gtd) on: May 01, 2013, 06:27:28 AM

How are you IPO'ing when all you've held so far are free rolls?

Seems like it'd be very hard to get any sort of accurate valuation.. Might be interested though Grin
Right now it is just a limited pool of private investors and we are not going public yet.
593  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls (0.1 BTC Gtd) on: May 01, 2013, 05:56:48 AM
Before people are jumping the thread about us showing up on bitfunder, we are doing a pre-ipo for private investors and we are considering possibilities of doing an IPO.

Hi guys,

Just to offer you all some games while we are building and expanding our services, we announce the 1000 Gtd Hourly Freeroll. This translates to 0.1 BTC prize pool per tournament.

We updated the installer on the website with a few fixes. All bugs are gone now and we are working on improving the user experience. We hope to launch our HTML5 client next week so people don't have to download our client. We will keep you guys updated on the process.

Whenever you feel like playing, just come and visit us!

Good luck at the tables!
596  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - Stay tuned for more freerolls on: April 30, 2013, 05:31:35 AM
launch the mobile/on-site version of the client for people who don't want to download the software.

That's good.  I didn't even think to request a non-Windows version because it seemed so unlikely you'd do it.  I don't know how many people are willing to download and run random Windows executables when they have Bitcoins on their computer.
We wouldnt be respecting ourselves and our clientele if we didnt listen to the wishes of the customer before we officially launch Wink

If our website misled you, I truly apologize. We aim to be fully operational within maximum 2 weeks and we will be holding an awesome freeroll promotion then. We needed the front page to be up so people can download our client. Once again, my apologies!

No problem.  Just explaining why I was confused, and why others may be.

If you really aim to have the most freerolls you'll have to beat sealswithclubs:

Every hour on the hour is a 3-winner turbo tournament with a 50 chip prizepool.

(1000 chips = 1 BTC)

I guess you don't say you're going to be giving away the most money in freerolls, just that you'll have the most of them, so that's not too hard to stick to.

Actually we will be offering the most money in freerolls. The exact tournament schedule is still being worked out. We first aim to get our software updated this week with some improvements requested by the players, get out the last bugs, and launch the mobile/on-site version of the client for people who don't want to download the software.

After that we will provide further information about the exact freeroll schedule, but I promise it will be a good one Wink
598  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 9PM EST 1 BTC Beta Freeroll on: April 29, 2013, 10:08:22 PM
We are not yet hosting the freeroll on daily basis, only when we have to test updates to our software.

I was misled by your website then:

In general the website gives the impression that everything is up and running, whereas it seems you're still in a testing cycle.

If our website misled you, I truly apologize. We aim to be fully operational within maximum 2 weeks and we will be holding an awesome freeroll promotion then. We needed the front page to be up so people can download our client. Once again, my apologies!
599  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiPoker.org - 9PM EST 1 BTC Beta Freeroll on: April 29, 2013, 07:31:33 PM
There are still some issues with the client. That is why we only run freerolls until all is working flawless Smiley

Are you running play money games too?

I got onto the site last night but couldn't find anyone to play with, not even for play money.

And the freerolls - is there just one per day, at 9pm eastern?
there are play money tables, but there is usually only traffic around the freerolls for now, as we do next to no marketing untill we really go live with a final product. We are not yet hosting the freeroll on daily basis, only when we have to test updates to our software.

All pending withdrawals have been processed. There was a slight delay because of updates in our payment system
