581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 02, 2023, 03:05:53 PM
Should we really believe the rumors of Fernando Alonso moving to RedBull from next year ? Personally , I don't get it from where this rumors are coming from but with Lawrence Stroll determined to sell Aston Martin by the end of the year , I start to believe that rumors might actually be true! If that happens , I think Max will finally have a battle and also a strong teammate that will most likely be allowed to fight with him for championship title.
Heard of this yesterday from one of those reporting on F1 websites but they are just what you have said so far, rumors.
So until there has been an announcement from either teams you can only go by speculation at this point.
Perez has a contract with Red Bull into 2024 if that hasn't changed unless Red Bull can it buyout to release him.
Stroll putting Aston Martin for sale could be the reason for Lance driving the way he has and not caring for his actions off the track in the recent months.
Don't you think it's more plausible to have Ricciardo instead of Alonso? I haven't seen much of the rumors but it's an interesting one. I just hope that in the next season, there would be a competition and there would be a fun and unpredictable battle.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What betting moment still haunts you? on: November 02, 2023, 03:01:35 PM
For sure, it has something to do with the amount that you have lost or anything around weird interactions that could have happened.
  • You lost an amount you cannot bear to remember
  • You have witnessed something that could haunt you for the rest of your life in a casino, losing to a bet that should be a sure thing
  • Betting a smaller amount but it turned out a bigger amount and then lost

These are just the things I could think of. It's going to be a challenge to recover.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin WhitePaper At 15th Years Anniversary on: October 31, 2023, 08:36:06 AM
It definitely went by so fast. The 15th anniversary is still young in terms of the market age. It seems that no matter what you have done, in the past, it's important that you continue to support BTC and look into the future.

It's best to focus on the betterment of everybody and not just one. Cheers!
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $BTC soar beyond 35K or dip below? 🚀📉 on: October 31, 2023, 06:18:03 AM
It will soar above it but we are not sure "WHEN". It's always about that. More accumulation will come for this, I'm sure. I believe that it is part of the natural growth of an asset. It's set to be greater and continuous growth will come. Back then it was "will we reach $1000, $10000, $50000" and it has been achieved.

I hope that everyone is monitoring and making sure to take advantage of its dips. Timing the market is hard but continuous DCA would definitely be a great solution to timing it.
585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giveaway Scam On the Rise on: October 31, 2023, 02:47:20 AM
With the rise in the usage of AI, it's definitely not a surprise to see it being used as a tool to scam people and make life easier for scammers. It's important to know that if you have something to be gotten for free, it should be within reason or else it's a scam. It is harder to prove now but it's still at the user's discretion.

If it's too good to be true, it is. That can be a guideline for everyone. It's important to let others know that rule.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think a new memecoin $MEMEFARMS will skyrocket in 2023? on: October 30, 2023, 04:40:00 PM
Meme coins = Risk

You are definitely risking a lot of your money in those types of coins if you continue to invest in them. It seems like you are somewhat related to the project. Are you affiliated with them OP?

I can't see the news about $MEMEFARMS being listed in Binance. All I can see is MEMELAND etc.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Using a Credit Card Demonstrate Financial Literacy? on: October 30, 2023, 04:13:17 PM
That depends on the person for sure, if you are someone who doesn't take responsibility too much and tends to spend all the time, credit cards wouldn't be ideal for you. It should be controlled no matter what the process you are doing. It's best that you have the idea or the capacity on what you are paying for.

It's really up to the person if he will be a slave to the credit card or not. For sure, you need to be its master.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Profit And Conscience on: October 30, 2023, 03:47:15 PM
I think it's an easy answer and don't have to think about it too much.

IF you VALUE Money more then let the Lotto Store lease on it.
IF you VALUE your Integrity and Morals, then find someone else. There maybe another opportunity coming.

That could be summarized like that IMO. Please update us OP on what your friend's decision is.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strange situation in some major casinos on: October 29, 2023, 11:02:08 AM
Hmm. Maybe the simulation has some advantage to make it feel like you want to do it in a real game and then it has decreased chances to which you need to be lucky in order to win.

I'm not sure how Pragmatic Play does their deals with the casinos but it certainly has something to do with it I think.
590  Economy / Services / Re: 📢📢I am interested in becoming a CM or Moderator on a crypto project. on: October 29, 2023, 06:10:50 AM
If you are planning to work on any crypto project here in Bitcointalk, you need to prepare a portfolio. I don't think they would be interested much if you have a newbie account and no portfolio to back up. You should show the results that you have and probably show that you are serious with buying copper membership etc.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Almost All Countries Affected by Inflation, Opportunity for Bitcoin! on: October 28, 2023, 04:52:44 PM
Of course, we all know everything advantageous if you were to use Bitcoin and HODL it. It's going to be different for every country but the important thing to see if it has really an effect is that there would be more countries to adopt it. We cannot really quantify if we have so little data. If there would be somewhat of a Bitcoin standard, that would be interesting as well.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changed the game you gamble on? share your story. on: October 28, 2023, 04:45:36 PM
Also it's worth noting that many addicts will probably say or think that they can stop at any time. It's just that they don't want to stop  Grin
Saying and doing are really two different things. What's important is that they wouldn't abandon any post that they have or responsibility for whatever that he/she has on their plate.

If they have neglected any of it, then they are addicted, no matter what they say.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is health and health is Bitcoin. on: October 28, 2023, 06:23:06 AM
This comparison doesn't make too much sense because Bitcoin and health can't be correlated. It's just that the way you can be healthy is if you have money and that could be a lot of bitcoin or fiat.

You can't be risking money if you don't have any extra for investment. You must have that health protection before anything else. No excuses from that like "I'm investing FOR my health" unless it's an insurance for your health or something but using it for Bitcoin is really different.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, human rights, authoritarianism and war on: October 27, 2023, 02:18:58 AM
I believe that this type of cryptocurrency and utilization of this type of mode of payment has changed the whole thing about funding whether it's with the diverse application of research or any other type of funding. It is definitely a complex issue that would require more in depth analysis that there wouldn't any other be a concrete conclusion. It's hard to really quantify this complex.
595  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from Bets.io on: October 26, 2023, 11:31:05 AM
Welcome to Bitcointalk! It seems like another great casino to try, and I do hope that many people will review this. It's really easy to remember the URL and maybe the luck would be different lol (It's never too late to wish lol).

I will try your casino soon.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 25, 2023, 01:31:50 PM
They are probably popular because of the amount they are trying to spend on the casino and that's how they are going to make it seem like. Someone who wins a lot and bets a lot enough to make a career having to do gambling and streaming.

It's interesting to many because they want to watch someone fulfill their fillings in which they are "lucky" to win. They found backup to it or reinforcement or something. That could be the case.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 24, 2023, 09:53:26 PM
It's hard to really follow or time the market because it's hard to know what's going to happen. Knowing that it's always moving with the 24/7 and global market. It's easy to feel FOMO because of the increase in price I hope you continue to invest (if you can and are willing to do it to decide on it) then you wouldn't really feel this way anymore.

Just continue to achieve your goal and you can be more active on it.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7,000 bitcoins locked on USB stick. Owner not rushing to unlock them on: October 24, 2023, 03:17:14 PM
Or maybe it's already unlocked and he just doesn't want everyone to know.

Those two experts working with him must be pretty busy or not working on it or anything because there should be progress or like my first guess, they have succeeded. Maybe, just maybe.  Grin

I do hope he gets to share his story or something.
599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance is Rolling Out Copy Trading? on: October 24, 2023, 02:57:31 PM
This is quite a long time now. Is there any reviews done by Bitcointalk members using this?

Let’s just hope that Binance would make copy trading available for the Philippine users.
I do hope that would happen as well. I didn't know or didn't see that there were announcements for them to do that. Any related news about this that could bring up the usage to the Philippines or any reason behind it?
600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: App for crypto indicators on: October 24, 2023, 02:29:47 PM
What is better for this is to have a bot where you can automatically buy when certain conditions of your strategy have sufficed. Maybe with those three indicators that you have, RSI, MACD, and BB, you can all together just buy it and then wait for the percentage to sell.
Trading bots automate things and eliminate emotion in trading but people must learn fundamentals, technical indicators to set up trading bots.

Some good trading bot services are available to buy and use.
[BIG LIST] Crypto Trading Bots.
One of them is Gunbot that has an announcement thread in Bitcointalk.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Trading Bot with 136 exchanges available!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Definitely Gunbot. I have been using it for a long time now and it doesn't disappoint. The continuous development and the one-time payment thing is what I like. I don't like the subscription-based IMO and there are tokens involved.
