5801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in an ICO? on: September 09, 2018, 08:32:02 AM
This topic has been discussed how many times in the forum, but still, I always heard the word risk in investing in ICO and some other say that avoid investing they are probably scam. No, that is not true even there are a bunch of projects now emerging but still, there are some other having a potential for investing. Yes, OP was right, checking all documents and team that they had before planning to invest. You can ride the risk if you know how to research before engaging in their project and invest.

i hope this helps :
1. Not yet. Have not thought of that yet
2. a) Forum; b) Team
3. f) Support (investors and partners)
4. d) History of the team and investors
Definitely, it is correct.
5802  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can decrease economic development on: September 09, 2018, 08:01:46 AM
Being worried about this new era. We are bound to digital worlds and forgotting the needs of our physical world.

If our farmers, fishermen, and other workmans that focus on agriculture would know how to gain bitcoin, will they still do their profession? However to some country, this is not a profession but a job to earn money. And if they learn about bitcoin, will they be able to continue earning from their hardworking jobs?.

What can you say about this?
Bitcoin is not a job it is just the currency so if someone want to have bitcoin they need to do work to earn that so it won't affect any kind of profession. If you think crypto trading as a job it can't be done by everyone only few people can become traders of everyone starts doing crypto trading then world will get into chaos. But this won't happen at any cost the world needs all kind of jobs for the human beings to exist.
I strongly agreed with you mate, yeah Bitcoin is not a job. If those people learned about bitcoin they used this as an alternate source of income because you can't rely on this as a main source of income. Field workers like Fisherman, Farmer and etc that are related skilled worker they may use bitcoin as a part-time job but they can't give full-time work in crypto-currencies.
Adopting in cryptocurrency is depends upon o which country you are.
5803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: September 08, 2018, 03:01:02 PM
Not much,it maye around 1 hour or more if we calculate in average basis but some days I can go through without gambling and some remaining days will play more hours just like how my mood was there on that day,I am not really addictive to the games because of much work tension. So I don't have enough time to get into play more games too.
I think that's right, we are in the same place now I also didn't have enough time to play online gambling after work but there are some days that more than 2hours I spent in gambling. I'd like to play dice since before I have an account I still continue gambling but due to conflict time, I just seldom to gamble. Once in the blue moon but if there is a day that I fell the moment to play online is spent 4-5 hours.

Addicted to gambling is too bad on our wealth so much better earlier we avoid on this kind of addictive entertainment.
5804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why exchange want to bank details for kyc??? on: September 08, 2018, 01:23:23 PM
Never heard of any exchange that wants your bank account details to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) form. You probably misunderstood something. They might want your bank A/C details if you try to deposit/withdraw fiat  so that your account gets connected to your bank. I see no other reason. Usually a government issues ID is enough for such verification.
That was also in my mind I never heard such as exchange asking a bank account for their costumer most likely they ask a KYC for verification. Government ID or even passport is just enough for you to gather personal information, no need for a bank account when you trade. You can avoid this issue by choosing a good exchange there are so many exchanges that did not ask on that, probably that is risky on us showing our personal information and bank accounts.
5805  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and Taxes on: September 08, 2018, 08:13:18 AM
Yes of course it seems to me that in the aftermath of the adoption of crypto currency, it is inevitable that we will pay some taxes from it
tax will only apply to countries that do adopt bitcoin because the state also benefits from crypto or bitcoin, but what about countries that do not legalize bitcoin? Will it be taxed by bitcoin or not?
Legalization of bitcoin is hard to implement in a country, just like here in my country government did not implement any law that state the bitcoin to pay tax. Bitcoin taxation is not directly applied on the bitcoin it may only cause on the holders per transaction that have.
But for me, paying tax is just a little amount that you contribute in paying by your government in order to improve or have an economic growth. So, I don't hesitate my self to pay if ever we required or oblique to pay taxes.
5806  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: September 08, 2018, 05:01:14 AM
It depends upon the situation if that time bitcoin will be legalized in all countries then probably investors from stock market diversify their money into crypto if they saw that stock market will be cashing out because once a businessman knows they will earn the know how to many risks even how risky in cryptocurrency.
On other hands, bitcoin now will very popular that having a profitable source so, there's no reason people did not adopt as an alternative way of investment.
5807  Other / Meta / Re: User nominated names of possible moderators for forum. on: September 07, 2018, 06:25:38 PM
An active member here in the forum who punished those people who act against and violated on our beloved forum.
In my own opinion, I'd like to nominate this.

But as what Welsh says, only theymos knows who is deserving on that position.

5808  Other / Meta / Re: Spamming in all local board on: September 07, 2018, 09:21:04 AM
I can't imagine how he/she gets that 1 merit on zero posts and activity?  Grin
Because when you received smerit is not moderated that you can delete, it will still remain.

He thinks he's clever for deleting all his plagiarized and copy pasted posts. But, wasnt fast enough to delete everything before someone archive his posts lol. Good job @OP
Yeah, you are right mate, surely this is a true newbie that She/he knows what will happen when your work is plagiarized or stealing work from others. Probably, this newbie was trying to explore different local boards by having a troll post and copy-pasting which is a big offense from the forum.
Job well-done OP, this case is now over and hopefully, there are many newbie members had noticed on this thread now.

5810  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is driving me crazy- What should i do? on: September 05, 2018, 11:56:16 PM
I have an unverified account with money inside (not much but it's mine not theirs). I came back from holidays and wanted to start trading, so i logged in in order to get verified, though they never gave us a specific date, so we can withdraw or not if we dont want to get verified. I keep trying verifying for a whole week with high quality photos of formal ids (either driver's license or id), and i keep getting rejected by their system. I asked support for help since i ve reached the max number of verifications tries, however it is slow and they keep replying me with non-sense responses(they suggested me to upload my driver's license, since it was more new and of better quality than my id, and after i did that the same hour they rejected me). Furthermore, today is the 2nd time i ve reached maximum number of verification tries.
I ve written them that since its not my fault that i m not getting verified and i was willing to get verified, i demand as a customer to delete my account and return my balance and they deny it, with a reply that they cant give me my money back unless i get verified.

Question 1: Should i worry?
Question 2: Do any of you had the same problem?
Question 3: Should i contact a lawyer?

I dont really know what to do and i me nearly out of options and will ...Anyway after this awful experience, in which the fault is not mine , i m thinking seriously to get verified(lol if i am able to do it) and then delete my account since this is at least unacceptable.
1. Nothing to worry you are in the good exchange.
2. I never experience this because when I passed ID verification make it sure that it is not blurred.
3. No, it won't help you, have patience until their support team/staff will help you.

Make it sure that the captured photo from your ID as a verification was clear (not blurred) and the ID number was there. Easy to get verified the account if you follow it will their instruction mate. Just have patience don't do panic.
5811  Economy / Economics / Re: After Nine Bitcoin ETF Rejections! What is the Solution to Mainstream Adoption? on: September 05, 2018, 11:22:46 PM
Recently I really got interested in cryptocurrency, so I have been reading a lot and started following blockchain related news and projects. What really caught my attention is the SEC rejection of nine ETF applications. I think this is in a bid to usher in mainstream adoption, but many argue that it's a problem of regulation, and others are saying the price instability of cryptocurrencies is hindering mainstream adoption. what is the solution to mainstream crypto adoption?

Nothing, bitcoin will rise up itself without ETF implementation because ETF has nothing change the price of the bitcoin.
Before bitcoin raised up in the market by itself and no ETF implementation so it is possible that it will happen again.
The price movement that we can help the market make green is not to panic selling even how many FUD news comes, stay strong and hold your portfolio not to sell you bitcoin. In that way, we can help market and even how many ETF application we don't need that.
5812  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: September 05, 2018, 05:11:02 PM
Those people are the richest based on Google. There are a lot more that we do not even know about. They just down let people know how much money they have.
What about Satoshi Nakamoto  Grin ? I would say this person can surpass Jeff in term of wealth.
Yes, there are many rich people who hide their wealth in the public by not showing their liabilities and assets to the public.
And some are those big politicians, storing their money into the cryptocurrency since you can hide your personalities while having an illegal activity. Probably that name of Satoshi Nakamoto was already had done on this community.

As per Google search these are the top 3 richest person of this world.
Quote
1.Jeff Bezos — $108.9 billion
2.Bill Gates — $91.9 billion
3.Warren Buffett — $90.1 billion
Well, I agree with this, these people had a very well known name even in social media.
5813  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coins.ph got hacked ? on: September 05, 2018, 03:00:51 PM
So you do have an account, or not??

I do not have any account with https://coins.ph
So, if you don't have an account on https://coins.ph then you've got an emailed from them probably that is phishing link, or are you sure that are you the only one who used your Gmail account? If you don't have an account in Coins.ph that is impossible for you to receive a message from them. I'm using Coins.ph wallet when I convert my bitcoin to fiat only I didn't store bitcoin on this wallet because I'm not the one who holds my key. So, if it is true, this may warn for us to careful on that maybe Coins.ph got hacked or they send a wrong Gmail account.
5814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum just crashed 10% in 3 hours on: September 05, 2018, 01:36:27 PM

Jesus, they are all selling ETH and we thought $300 is already the bottom don't we?  Shocked

I guess they can drag the price of ETH down to $10 if they really will do it. Its not good seeing how all they can really make people go poorer than ever after they got into crypto. If someone with money sending it to altcoin will probably hang himself like the Japanese businessmen do.
What da...Hopefully will not, I saw now Ethereum deeply sink the price in the market cap with the dominance of 10.66% downtrend, it is really swinging more when the bitcoin goes down. I don't know what is the reason behind on this but one thing that comes up in my mind some whales now trying to manipulate Bitcoin price and if a panic seller will bite their trap and do panic selling surely, they have a loud laugh from those weak people.
5815  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What's the best cryptocurrency wallet that you can trust? on: September 05, 2018, 09:18:00 AM
I never heard issues on this wallet before that's the reason I keep trusting into their service.
If you never heard or saw any issues posted related blockchain.com(.info) I wonder if you take your 5-10 seconds of ctrl-F on this section (web wallet) with the keyword of "blockchain",  I assure you that most of the complains are from the blockhain.com(.info) wallets.
Sorry mate it's my bad now I've sawed many issues recently about the transactions of web wallet blockchain.com(.info) but it looks like all are resolved problems, so therefore they have a very fast support team to respond in every problem so no need to worries.
Actually, I didn't hold for long-term my bitcoin on that web wallet that is only intended for receiving only, I have my own Ledger wallet that is for long-term purposes in holding my bitcoin and investment as well.
5816  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if a stable coin is in high demand? on: September 05, 2018, 08:05:04 AM
As far as I know and understand from the market cap price, the coin will unstable the price if have fewer of the demand on the market and it becomes high in supply which is not good, so, therefore there is no stable coin price in the market that having a high demand. Most likely those coins are manipulating by someone else. That's the reason why new token/coins having an exact circulating supply to make fluctuated demand and make unstable price movement.
5817  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money on a long-term period on: September 05, 2018, 04:08:48 AM
We have number of ways on banking system to save money for a long term. I love to trade more coins and save them .
I don't suggest to save money on your bank in the long term period because it will give you nothing since the interest rate is very low and maybe your inflation rate in your place is high that makes you money less in value. I suggest to put your money in stock market or even in cryptomarket, treat this as your savings for your future needs.
Saving in the bank is for security purposes if you have a huge amount of money then you can trust bank were is the best storing of your money. But when it comes to investment while saving bank wouldn't give you a high profit, a very low interest on your saving money from the bank. Saving your money in cryptocurrency is good if you know how to manage them but if you don't have knowledge then, I tell you much better not to do. It is a high risk when you diversify your money into crypto and save, but again it's your call and thinks twice before you move through.
5818  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin not the choice of criminals anymore on: September 04, 2018, 11:42:17 PM
BTC us getting a much-improved image as US law enforcement acknowledges that BTC criminal use has declined dramatically.

https://forexmarketslive.com/bitcoin-not-the-choice-of-criminals-anymore/
Very good news, this can happen if the government participates in controlling bitcoin in its use by the public, because the thing that some countries fear is criminal acts like this, maybe if some countries know they might follow...
Controlling bitcoin? I don't think so why you have said controlling bitcoin since it is decentralized I know you couldn't if your thought is having a regulation that is not right. But that is not directly to the bitcoin they regulate those users in bitcoin probably that's the reason why the illegal users of bitcoin have less and did not have a transaction for criminalities activity. Criminal use has declined due to bitcoin have a transparency transaction that easy to track.
5819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 04, 2018, 11:03:28 PM
Social media Tips is good but don't do what they exactly say, instead used this to have a comparison at your own references that may help when you are in trading. Much better you have your own research and don't rely on others pieces of information because that is your money used in trading not them. Broadcasting in social media especially that price signals they are not worth it follow sometimes delay sometimes wrong information gives that make you lose.
5820  Economy / Economics / Re: Next SEC meeting on: September 04, 2018, 10:20:26 PM
When? And what is on the agenda?

Next one is in 7 September (Bitwise).
Then 21 September (Direxion), and only after that it's the 30 September VanEck / SolidX, which is causing a lot of hype. But all of them can be postponed afaik.
Ohh thanks for this information now I know when the next SEC meeting.
Yes, they are right this market did not rely on hype, that ETF did not change the price in the market it is recovered bitcoin itself nothings happen even there is ETF. I think altcoins now did not swing since bitcoin slowly recovered, maybe the best thing to do is diversify your altcoins to bitcoin. But as of now holding is the best choice don't you ever panic selling.
