5801  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: May 16, 2015, 12:05:49 PM
I don't think its an good idea to have an bitcoin as a retirement account as the future of bitcoin is still blank. We don't know whether it will replace fiat or not but i would prefer to invest in some pension plans which would pay me assured amount of money monthly rather then going for bitcoin retirement account.

Nope, I guess you are wrong. For now of course it is still blank because we can't predict the future but why dont you start investing now to craft that future? Altough bitcoin can't replace the fiat we still can earning through it. For now 1 bitcoin is $200++ and may be in the future the value will increase again and it will be go higher too. If you going to invest now may be it is not too late but you dont want to invest its your choice

Yes this is the best time to invest in bitcoins as the prices are low so if you are thinking of earning good profits in future then you should invest in bitcoin at present. And if you are worried about the future of bitcoin then i guess its value will reach to a high level in coming future.

Well indeed, I`ll buy 2-3 Bitcoins in a couple of days, the price seems fairly stable, and it stabilized around the 200€ mark, i dont think it will go lower.

I guess it will be stable for just in a few days more and hope after this it will going high not dropping. And buying 2-3  bitcoin directly is not a best option because you didnt even know what is gonna be later and better wait for a little bit low then you buy or earning first
5802  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: May 15, 2015, 05:45:41 PM
think this is all just wasting time by clicking captcha. The payment is better signature campaign rather than faucet.
I know this, but i had some free time on a work place.

Altough you got some free times it will be always wasting time because the time you spend and the payout you earn is not good enough. The payout from faucet is too low and the time you spend is too much. With that much of time you can earn more by doing signature campaign or trading

for people who have a job and have a monthly salary, I think they do not need to play a faucet. because I think faucet only to persons unemployed and has no income certainly does not have the expertise or anything. Because of their passion for making money is very high, even if the results are not great, they will do it

But if he got nothing to do in his office I think its ok to play faucet but since the payout is low I dont suggest to do it. Unemployed person that has no real income sure wont get through this faucet too. I think unemployed person sometimes smarter than employee because they can see everything clearly but employee only know how to earn money by work and work, they are too passive in their way to earning money
5803  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: May 15, 2015, 05:36:38 PM
I will just watching Cool because I don't have so much Bitcoin. Even if I sell it, it will still be just a small amount of money Sad

You can start earning it from now and until that time you already got enough bitcoin to sell so you will get some profit. You can collecting it by do trading, gambling (which I dont recommend) but if you feel lucky you can do it and do signature campaign because they will pay a lot

Are you don't understand what am I doing right now? Cheesy I'm in the process of collecting Bitcoin right now Wink

How am I suppose to know what are you gonna do to your bitcoin? I just suggesting you to keep it for now dont do anything that can cause you lose all your bitcoin like gambling or doing ponzi or others like that so you will get more profit when the price is $1000
5804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Service to receive payments in Bitcoin from non-Bitcoin users? on: May 15, 2015, 05:32:51 PM
Are they many non-BTC users willing to receive any payment in BTC?
The opposite service would probably get more customers.

Please read carefully before you post. The OP wants to get payment in bitcoin since he doesnt want to convert cash to bitcoin so he asking whether there are some exchanges or system that can automatically convert the buyer payment to bitcoin so he doesnt need to wasting time to convert cash to the bitcoin again.
5805  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 15, 2015, 04:52:21 PM
Here's a good tip for saving money: any time you buy something on sale, take the money you saved and actually save it - put it in a savings account or buy bitcoin with it.  If you don't actively save your savings, then you never really saved anything on the purchase.

Everyone know the tips and there is so many out there but no one can apply it why? Because their salary is just enough only for their living and their needs. We dont said about other people that have a lot of cash that can easily convert in bitcoin without do saving but for average people like me to save and invest what are you suggest for me to do?
5806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: May 15, 2015, 04:41:51 PM
In my country, bitcoin isn't popular but it's still allowed in my country although there aren't any local store accept bitcoin as payment method Grin

For now it wont be so popular because there are only few people that know what bitcoin is and for local store to accept bitcoin for now is to impossible because they dont even know what it is and how to use this bitcoin. Just wait for the mainstream time, after that people will start to collecting it and also the price will going up too
5807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the Blockchain on: May 15, 2015, 04:33:01 PM
What about comic books as well?

book game would be a better option, if we are talking about game

i love those books, like lone wolf, the dark crusade ecc, they were playing with dices, it would be cool to have them in the blockchain or in a side chain

If there is too much games on blockchain dont you think it will be such a waste? Because there are so many games sites out there and can this games in blockchain compete to them? How will you attract people to play in blockchain I guess that is going to be hard enough
5808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2015, 04:27:36 PM
i've been around this community a few years and i still don't get why anyone would chose bitcoin.

don't get me wrong i believe in an alternative p2p currency, but to me bitcoin certainly doesn't cut it.

about the only answer people have is first mover advantage. but that's pretty much it.

bitcoin seems to, over time, be drifting more into a centralised system, core dev team where so few as 5 completely control the code, backed by what has come to light time and time again a very questionable central organisation.

have VC with their little startups jumping on board left right and center, and we know their goals  Kiss, bitcoin's heading more and more like being the bank product it was meant to be an alternative to  Shocked

seems the only way to back bitcoin is keep your head it the sand and hope it'll all turn out good in the end........

well i think it is because bitcoin is already an established crypto currency unlike those altcoins even though some of them are innovative are not yet well established and not much of it are supported by many people

invest in other altcoin is like a gambling with no guarantee return of your initial amount there is much big risk involve in it but Bitcoin is the safest investment for bright future, so much public awareness and merchant acceptance around the globe.

Yes its true altcoin is like gambling but the return can be like 100 or 1000 times it depends on your perdiction, some of them are getting their profit just from altcoin because they know which one to invest and they gather a lot of information. So I guess that is not purely gambling if you choose well so you will get a lot from it

5809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Service to receive payments in Bitcoin from non-Bitcoin users? on: May 15, 2015, 04:18:40 PM
I'm interested in selling stuff on a website to people who have no idea what Bitcoin is, but I want to get payments in Bitcoin.
So basically something as simple as PayPal for the buyer. They use their credit /debit card to pay, however it is converted into bitcoin and sent to my bitcoin address.

Does anyone know of a service or company that can do that? Is that something that Coinbase or Circle can do?

It would be nice if something like this was an optional payment method for eBay. It would also flip the tables around, instead of merchants taking our bitcoin and converting it to cash at the end of the day, we could take cash from buyers and convert it to bitcoin.

Do you mean that automatically convert dollar to bitcoin directly after the payment has been made? I guess there are no such thing auto convert bitcoin to cash or vice versa because the algorithm is to hard to make, it its not easy like other systems

Yes that's kind of what I would like. Or simply just the reverse of what Coinbase or Snapcard does for retailers. That people could pay with dollars and we could withdraw or receive that payment directly in Bitcoin.

Sorry, I made a mistake. There are already got system for automatically convert the payment to bitcoin or vice versa but I can't recall what it is
5810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help to buy bitcoin on: May 15, 2015, 04:12:29 PM
Hi,
I wanted to buy something but in my country,Iran we do not have access to cards like visa or master or services like paypal and mostly others. Infact some do it through other countris but it will cost  2 to 3 times more than actual price. The only way to buy that service is btc but here again is the problem, how buy bitcoins!? only gift cards are available here like google, amazon, itunes or webmoney ready codes and most of them even without scans. Can anybody please help and show me some way to change for example google gift card with bitcoins? Any other way?
Thanks

You can try localbitcoins like many people said before and with your understanding I guess you can start earning through signature campaign because their payout is good enough. $10 is around 0.04-0.05 for current price so you just need around a week to complete it. Its just a simple like that

Do nothing and patient, because i believe the price of bitcoin can be much much more than $1000.

If you just do nothing you wont get much more profit till that time. Because the mainstream of bitcoin is depends on us. If more people buying bitcoin then the price is going to $1000 or even more because everyone wants to get profit so you need to do something at least persuade them to using bitcoin as their payment method
5813  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 15, 2015, 03:43:19 PM
Investment doesn't sounds good at a initial stage. Saving in a bank is the best thing to do. As you can withdraw money at any stage of time in case of any emergencies and investing can prove a wrong decision so in savings you get less returns but those are assured returns.

Why it doesnt sounds good? Do you scare o doing investment because of your trauma or scare on a risk job? I guess everything that you do will always got risk. Saving in case of emergencies is good but you must see the future too, how much can you get from just saving in the bank? The interest is too low and you just need more time to be enough, it doesnt worth enough if you only do saving

The current interest over here is even less than 1%. That's not a big deal.. However, saving money to prepare for emergencies and other unexpected costs is always a good thing.

I think many people dislike investing because of the risk indeed. But hey, not all investments do have a huge risk.

Yes that is true that you need your saving money for emergencies but the interest is too low and still they continuing on saving like that. Investment is sure got high risk and the payout is good too so it will cover your emergencies too and I think it depends on what this money are going to use for each person
5814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you mine it or buy it? on: May 15, 2015, 03:38:10 PM
I think it is really possible from altcoin trade indeed, although you need some luck. By succesfull daytrading / short term trading you can make some extra bucks easily. You just need some luck that you invest in the right coin (at the right moment). You might be lucky enought to stake some altcoins that are getting pumped soon or later (and then you need to be lucky enough to sell it at the right moment.  I've made some money and lost some money on altcoin trading - in the end you should take a profit as soon as it's a nice profit (and don't wait for an huge increase in value - as you will probably end up with nothing).

I guess that alt trading is not based on luck, it is based of information gathering, the more information you can get the more profit you will get because you know whether this alt coin is worth to pump or not. Information of altcoin is the right thing to get if you want to start earning from altcoin. Luck is just about 5-10%
5815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you do to Earn your coins on: May 15, 2015, 03:35:25 PM
First I tried faucets for weeks but I can't get a decent satoshis but when I discovered this forum it gave me hope. I  think campaign signature is the only I can get a decent bitcoin.

Yes its true signature campaign can give you more than faucets and we can know a lot of things in this forum but I can suggest something more is trading altcoin or trading bitcoin if you want to earn more. But that is depends on you, some people just do the signature campaign because they said trading is volatile so its risky
5816  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 15, 2015, 12:42:31 PM
Some people of course are waiting for $100 to buy but dont you guys think if the price is going down till $100 is there any chance to go back to normal or even higher than usual? That is just some kind of prediction to make, and for other they will buy for now and investing it continously that will be good, you can get profit whether its up or low. Both of it will be profitable
5817  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 15, 2015, 12:17:38 PM
I would keep the gold in hand and never sell it for 10 years, while I would't keep Bitcoin in hand with no transaction. In somehow, the Bitcoin is just an invstment and I have to let it go and back for interest.

Gold is better then bitcoin would love to invest in it as it is   the best investment product and don't go with the present prices just think of the future and it will definitely give best return on investments say after 15 to 20 years but its difficult to judge whether bitcoin will survive or not.

Yes gold is better than bitcoin if you ask me but we must see the progress too. Gold, the price is always rise every year but it is more stable so if you invest in a long term I guess gold is the best but if you want it in a short term bitcoin is good too because the volatile price we can earn random profit and we can earn more that we can imagine so both of them is good. Just invest in both of them  Grin

I bought worth $5 BTC and invested it. After days goes by I already have now $100 but it's hard to earn it.
would you care to share what did you invest your $5 worth of bitcoin in and also how long did it take you to reach $100 ?

most likely altcoin "investments". these can explode in price from time to time. if not, then i also want to know how you made $100 with only 5 bucks.

$5 worth of btc could be grown even up to a hundred dollars. Smiley The most logical investment there is would probably be the altcoin trading scene. There are coins that shoots up prices up to a thousand times in a short span of time, and it is likely to be a pump coin. However, it would be too dangerous to get in once a coin started boosting up in price rapidly because you don't know whether the pump will stop or not.

But that is just a newbie talk and why did you guys believe it he doing in from altcoin? I guess he get it from ponzi because the payment is good but the chance of getting scammed is thousand %, may be he is one of the lucky guy to make it out there
