5801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto a good resume of the situation. on: December 15, 2019, 01:58:09 AM
LOL, this is a year old discussions in this community already,

Satoshi Nakamoto P2P new post

Is Satoshi Nakamoto is alive? Today he posted on p2p foundation. Your opinion?

"Nour" Satoshi's Account Re-live

I think we should stop speculating about the man himself, unless Satoshi sign a message from his known addresses, this sort of discussion is baseless.

5802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 14, 2019, 09:11:17 AM
So many expectation coming from different investors or even from analyst. But for I expect for another bullrun for bitcoin. All we know that all of us are hoping for the next bullrun. As a bitcoin holder I am expecting that I will earn more because bitcoin and other coin  will rise again in the year 2020.

Based on the previous bitcoin block halving, of course everyone is hoping that after the 2020 scheduled event, we will see the price goes into another meteoric rise, most likely year or two after the block halving. So I'm not expecting a huge rally in 2020, probably just a good bounce back so there's no all time highs. But 2021 will be different though, we might see some signs of the 2017 cycle again that could put the price of all crypto in ATH. So stay tune in.
5803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain Foundation buyback address hacked on: December 14, 2019, 08:24:19 AM
Things are not going good for VeChain and the results are displayed on the price. VeChain was supposed to be the coin for China but lost it's major project and now struggles with such blunders rather than any good news. It's getting difficult for VeChain to ever attain back it's ATH.

With this news, I'm sure the price will be affected negatively. Besides the worsening market conditions, this kind of news will sway away investors for good in VeChain unless some whales put a lot of money to keep this project going until we goes on another bull run.

It just sadden me to hear that another breached and investors lost their money without a fight here and it could impact the whole crypto sphere again. And unless the hackers made a mistakes of depositing it to a exchange that Vechain has contacted, there's no way they can get the money back.
5804  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto Exchange BitMex Hit With $300 Million Investor Suit on: December 14, 2019, 07:44:21 AM
Well it also says $50 million but what the hell is $250 for punitive damage?

*$250 million

Maybe he feels he's been literally scammed by Arthur Hayes, or just fishing to see how much he can wrangle out of him.

Fishing, mliking whatever we call it. Simply people are using crypto sphere to hassle someone. Yes he already has lots of money, but I'm sure Frank Amato wanted more. Easy $250 million if it goes his way here.
5805  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: telegram channel with bot on: December 14, 2019, 06:42:47 AM
Hi guys what do u think about telegram channel with signal and bot? Do u know some good channel with a real profit?
I try to invest in some channel but are all fake... only 1 currently is paying me from 1 month

Someone can help me to find a good channel?
If someone want I can share the one who is paying me

Nah, if I'm in your shoes, better learn trading by yourself but reading thru this community and  search some youtube videos. Trading signals doesn't work in the long run, and it might end negatively on your part. Been long enough in this forum to see many newbies being victimized by those scammers by giving them signal. First you will got a few good signals and you think that it is legit. So you will be suckered to pay them money, as soon as you're in, that's when the real scam works. Because they will give you a fake signals so just be careful.
5806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Spends over 800 BTC just to Win a 5 Million Doge Bet on: December 14, 2019, 06:01:33 AM
~ snip ~

This guy on Twitter actually spent 800 (probably more) BTC in order to win a few Dogecoins. Goes to show how easy it is to manipulate the market.

Just one classic example of pure manipulation, but you have to lauded the whale though, damn 800 BTC just to win the bet. But then again, since they have a lot of Bitcoin stash they can do whatever they want, those people doesn't care about their money and it looks like he just want to proved something here. But at the end of the day, no one wins, ego, child play, as they change the whole game play.
5807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: December 13, 2019, 12:40:49 PM
Hey, guys! Check this video where Tone Vays shares his opinion on future of Bitcoin's price. He considers that BTC will fall to $5k and will start growing just after that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qABFMlxnmFA

Well Tone Vays did make a lot of wrong predictions in 2018 and in mid 2018, if I remember correctly, he said the same prediction, $5000. So I don't consider Tone Vays as one of those so called experts, although he shares his technical analysis which is again, false.

Thanks for the video, but I'm very skeptic of his every prediction. I also recalling him predicting that bitcoin will reach $100,000 in 2017, which didn't happened obviously.
5808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing}: Inoue vs. Dasmarinas Mandatory Title Fight Ordered By IBF on: December 13, 2019, 11:36:24 AM
I don't think this will be revenge after Donaire's losses but hopefully, he could make it and take the belt.I'd love to see how Filipinos get into ring and fight. We can't deny also that Inoe is a good fighter and he's aiming for another title belt or surely we would like to defend his stands today. But in this game, of course, I would like to give put my bet to Dasma...

Of course, as I have said previously, triangle theory doesn't work in boxing specially if you think that the boxer will try to extract revenge because he beat a fellow Filipino here. What we don't want to see is Filipino going against a fellow Pinoy for the title. And I would agree that it's going to be worth to put a bet on Dasmarinas if this fight will happen in the future.

@Kasabus - I would prefer Ring's p4p list, not much difference though, but yes, definitely Inoue should be in the top 5.

5809  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 13, 2019, 11:08:50 AM
Nah, I don't think that DEX will have success in 2020. Traders still prefer CEX in my opinion, even if we have so many hacks and many problems with some scam exchanges, specially mid-tier. Remember that most reputable exchanges run IEO, which will continue as the trend next year. Remember that we still have the block halving coming, and I think newbies will still favor to put their funds in CEX no matter what.
5810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long will existing encryption last? on: December 13, 2019, 10:40:17 AM
Google has come up with quantum supremacy through which calculations can be performed in a very short time and the same can't be cracked by the conventional conputer used all around.

This serves to be a tool in the hands of hackers, criminals to crack blockchain based cryptocurrencies like bitcoin ans others to be the targets. Also it is stated to crack the encryption upon which the internet is built on. Later news revealed it isn't that powerful to crack bitcoin. Right now it has got only 53 qbits, to crack the bitcoin there is need for at least 1500 qbits. This way no nees to fear about the encryption of the algorithm.

LOL, do you think that quantum computers will be mass produces if ever they successfully crack 2^256 code? so it will not be for everyone's used. And for the record, there are a lot of development from behind. So far the following are candidates.

[1] Lamport Signature - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamport_signature#Public_key_for_multiple_messages)

[2] Multivariate cryptography - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multivariate_cryptography)

[3] Lattice-based cryptography - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lattice-based_cryptography)

for the record though, bitcoin addresses are not at risk to attack not unless the attacker know your public key. The only way to attack us is that if the QC is fast enough to obtain our public key in a few minutes based on our private key.

I think this is the best option for both fighter, assuming that Wilder will win on his next fight, we wanted to see Heavyweight being unified again and makes it more attractive and entertaining just like the 80's.

Right, this is a money fight, this has been brewing for years now, prior to Tyson Fury entering the HW division, talks of Wilder vs Joshua has been in the air for the last two years or so. They have built the hype already and it's about time to cash it out next year.

Of course mandatory fights are also good to give the number one fighter a crack, however, since boxing is a business, promoters are going to put a fight that can generate big money.
5812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nike secured blockchain patent for cryptokicks on: December 12, 2019, 10:49:02 AM
This is a great improvement about the exposure and adoption of the blockchain technology. Nike is one of the biggest and famous foot wears industry and this initiative of theirs can even spur other industries to inculcate the blockchain technology. I just can't wait to see my favorite brand Adidas also do something similar to make blockchain technology.

I don't know, but I have a feeling that Nike, being the dominant shoes makers who have right now, wanted to be the first. However, since they have patented it, maybe they have some intentions behind and this could be private and only willing to be used by other companies if they're willing to pay patent price (loyalty/licensing).

Of course, Adidas can create their own blockchain technology and patent it, and I'm sure as rivals, they won't used Nike's blockchain here.
5813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing}: Inoue vs. Dasmarinas Mandatory Title Fight Ordered By IBF on: December 12, 2019, 10:15:50 AM
IBF is just going to send Dasmarinas to a beating. Less fighting chance for Dasma. Donaire didn't beat Inoue is because the monster is just too fast and can endure Donaire's punch. I lost my bet too.

For the record, Dasmarinas is rated as the number 1 rank player of IBF, so I don't think its fair to say that the world governing body, IBF, is sending someone who can easily beaten by their champion. Dasmarinas deserves a shot at Inoue.

Dasmarinas I think should first fight Donaire to see if he can also beat him and then conclude that he can possibly knock Inoue. Or let Dasmarinas fight more Latinos first.

LOL, triangle theory doesn't work in boxing mate. Smiley
5814  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best way to mix bitcoins on: December 12, 2019, 09:42:54 AM
I would like to know the best way to mix bitcoins. So far, I have read about converting to monero and then back to btc, I have read about using exodus wallet and then also seen the service of blender.io. I am not sure which service to use as it has been a very long time now since I have used a tumbling service, I would like to know which would be best to use.

You can check this thread:

5815  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptojacking Malware Devs Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison on: December 12, 2019, 09:28:19 AM
So I guess criminals are not that really intelligent after all, because sooner or later they can make a slip up that will lead to their arrest.

Obviously, these criminals are very sloppy in covering their tracks, and one way or another, they are going to make a lot of mistakes that will eventually reveal their identify or at least give law enforcement a clue and started their investigation that will eventually lead to their arrest.

And I agree with the OP here, US are sending a strong signal, don't messed with them, regardless from what country you are, because they're going to haunt you down.
5816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good thing for Ethereum and DeFi right now? on: December 11, 2019, 01:46:33 PM
As I have posted a successful Defi project , here, it seems to be this could be the next trend in the coming months. So I guess this will be a good in the long run specially once we bounce back from the current market conditions. So definitely it's good to keep an eye on Defi project and I would say that it could have a positive effect on Ethereum, specially use case that can really affect the financial markets.
5817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing}: Inoue vs. Dasmarinas Mandatory Title Fight Ordered By IBF on: December 11, 2019, 12:22:15 PM
Do we have a live stream channel for this fight? In my country I have no national streaming which I can watch.
There is no arrangement in here. So I want to watch and may bet on.

The fight is not yet done, it was just ordered by the IBF that Inoue should face his mandatory which is another Filipino. So there's no betting line yet and obviously we don't know if there will be live streaming or not.  And we don't know any updates on the negotiations. Anyways, no disrespect to Dasmarinas, but he will be facing Inoue here, who is undefeated has been tested by Donaire. So I don't know how can he win against a fighter who is just above the rest at 118 lbs division.
5818  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto News Aggregator on: December 11, 2019, 11:47:04 AM
Added sentiment voting on individual cryptocurrency pages. Once more data is available, I'll display the corresponding sentiments after vote is submitted.

I voted, but it seems I'm lost as I can't find where my vote goes.

Edit: I changed the styling a little in attempt to make the application look more modern.

Yes, I see the changes, very nice feel and look of the new website. Keep it up.

Edit2: Time since each feed item has been aggregated is now displayed in a more easy to read minutes/hours/days format. Should be easier to see which articles are most recent.

Good that you implemented this one, was just about to suggest it.
5819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: December 11, 2019, 09:51:42 AM
My prediction missed.Very bad game from Indonesia where there are minimal creations in attack. I only see a few shoots that lead to the Vietnam goal throughout the game. Vietnam really played very effectively by relying on a very fast counterattack. They certainly deserve a gold medal for men's soccer today. Congratulations for Vietnam.

Yes, from the beginning of the game the Vietnam team aggressively attacked the defense of the Indonesian players. After they managed to score a goal, the Indonesian team's mentality began to decline, and the result was that the Vietnamese team won. It's a pity the Indonesian team didn't get gold.

I wouldn't say they should regret and blame themselves for not winning the gold. The important thing is that they have giving everything, but the breaks and experience went to the Vietnamese and they are the better team overall so they deserved it. Indonesia team is very young, so obviously, lack the experience and as you have said, mentality they have a break down in which the Vietnamese team took advantage of.

How about Synthetix Network?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/synthetix-network-token/

Quote
Synthetix Network Token Statistics
Synthetix Network Token Price $1.29 USD
Synthetix Network Token ROI 184.71%

It's a defi project and it seems one of the favorites of investors right now. Looking at the chart, it seems to be going up since the introduction. And possible that it could have a lot of growth in the next year or so with this technology.
