I think that is expected. My wild guess is that it would be around 2 weeks, a month or it varies from the rule broke. They are not fixed offfence for all but maybe it is 2-week temp-ban this time. First offence: 7 days
Second offence: 14 days
Third offence: 30 days
Fourth: Permanent ban

I am not a merit source (I planned to make my source application on the beautiful day 02/02/2020 but I did not finish it as consequence of something unexpected) but I have my strategies to do if I am a source: - Setting up a max cap of daily smerits will be given away.
- Filling the gaps of un-used sMerits of previous days (if you don't find good posts to give away)
- Never pre-use your self-allocated sMerits.
I could be wrong but obeying these rules will help you lifting up the level of quality of posts you will give your sMerits on. For example, if I set up my daily cap at 5, I must find only 5 best posts each day to send my 5 sMerits to. There are days you find many good posts (more than 5, and you will have to choose the best 5) and days you did not find a single good post. I have some statistics for your local (all outdated ones). Your local is the sixth most actively local boards on the forum, based on statistics.  Based on the criteria, the top 5 active local boards are: - Russian: 1505 posts/day
- Indonesian: 545 posts/day
- Turkish: 376 posts/day
- Chinese: 213 posts/day
- Pilipinas: 174 posts/day

While I only think that reporting spam posts every time we find it is a mandatory action and dont ignoring it so that the moderator can consider the appropriate punishment given to them.
Freedom is the basic of the forum. There is nothing mandatory required for all. Even rules, we only have unofficial ones. Regarding to what you all discussed about the negative feedback on spammers (or neutral), let's see theymos' opinion on this. In particular, in my view:
- Giving negative trust for being an annoying poster is inappropriate, since this has nothing to do with their trustworthiness. If they're disrupting discussion or never adding anything, then that's something for moderators to deal with, and you should report their posts and/or complain in Meta about it.
As far as I know of, @The Pharmacist and @actmyname are the two (at least ?) who pioneered to leave negative feedbacks on spammers because of massively terrible spam endemic on the forum circa late of 2017 and early of 2018. I don't know where they began to report and tag spammers but I read their replies in some threads about their works back in that period. They claimed that they stopped leaving negative trusts and reports (reduce in intensity) after the merit system was kicked-off. |

I'll definitely be expecting lots of goals from the Dortmund - PSG clash, both teams are free-scoring and play open, attractive football.
PSG has better players than Dortmund but who knows, it is the Champions League, where PSG got many defeats recent seasons. Dortmund, despite of their ups and downs, had some greater match results in Champions League than PSG. They have better history in Champions League, I meant. I bet on PSG because such team like them need to go as far as possible in order to keep the Champions Leauge as attractive as possible. This is the match I'll be watching tomorrow, Diego simeone and athletico know how to play a very tight game, with little chances and few goals and I think that's how tomorrow's game is going to be(both legs even).

As a Manchester United fan I have seen him play a lot, and I can tell you guys all he needs is the right kind of motivation and players that can push him to his limits and then you’ll see a different version of Paul Pogba.
Who cares about that? The whole team have to serve him in order to get his best performance in returns (just in his good match-days). I don't think it is a win-win situation for the whole team. You see, after some seasons in Manchester United, what Pogba has shown? His performance is very unstable, that tends to strongly correlated with his mood. Yeah indeed Pogba still has selfishness like Balotelli and his career end was less brilliant because of that selfishness, I think Pogba can still balance about that.
He has earned many more things so far, compared to Balotelli who has started to walk in his career ending. Selfishness and arrogant will play as barriers and keep Pogba far from his best abilities on pitch. |

How is Pogba's condition recovering from his injury?
Yeah indeed Pagba is a good real Madrid player and he sure will spend money to recruit him into his squad but actually I'm still in doubt because if I move to Real Madrid and only to be on the bench then his popularity will decrease because there are many main players good from Pogba.
Pogba is good but I won't say he is good for Real Madrid or a good substitute for Casemiro. Pogba is not a defensive midfielder and he tend to play more in the half of competitor on the pitch. The selfishness of Pogba will bring lot of troubles to Deal Madrid if he moves to the club. I don't believe the other stats in the club will welcome him there. |

No clubs will be able to beat Liverpool for winning Premier League this season, despite of themselves.
