5821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: March 11, 2019, 06:39:24 PM
Hey, Guys, I am jak3, I came back after 1year. (i barely visited this forum in this 1year) but I remember when I left this forum there was a lot of bitcoin campaigns and a lot of discussion topics. But nowadays people are only talking about altcoins. Can you guys tell me what I am missing till now or what exactly did happen under this 1year? I do have some idea about merits thought. Hope I can get a grip back into the discussions.

many people have left crypto because of the current market conditions.
there are many problems with the ICO campaign that have no value when they are on the market, and there are still many problems this year that have no solution.
And majority of these failed project are the reason why bitcoin price is yet to rise even though we claim that it is as a result of whale action but I personally think that if BTC was the only form of coin in the crypto world, it would not have been easy for the whales to control it because most of these investors in other altcoins will focus on BTC investment and using the system for their various organizations.

All these altcoins are just using the means to raise money that cannot be traced back to them and majority of their coins are useless.
5822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 11, 2019, 06:13:32 PM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.
Ethereum price movement is still as before though I expected the ETH market to really get so even though the reverse was the case, I think the market generally is being ruled by one single factor I don’t seems to know yet.

The performance of eth is not so far from the way other market is performing too except those other shitcoins that aren’t making any move at all for one to trade with, right now, ethereum price movement only favors day traders and not long term investors.
5823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MAKING BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY EASY FOR NEWBIES TO COMPREHEND on: March 10, 2019, 09:33:58 PM
It is even better to read the whitepaper and not understand than what most investors do, I have met several people I have introduced into the crypto currency world and I tried to give them freedom to select the coin they wish to invest in by encouraging them to read the whitepaper so that I don’t get the blame when things go wrong but to my greatest surprise many of the investors put their money into it based on the coins I suggested and they rather work with intuition than read the white paper which is quite very wrong and that is why many of us fall victim of ICO scams.
5824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Strategy on: March 10, 2019, 02:58:19 PM
Strategy does not work with all gambling games even the so called logical games which requires skills like sports, I have players whom their strategies have failed in gambling. I would say that if gambling was a game of strategy, then all gamblers would pay at all cost and we are likely not going to have those who loose.

Gambling has automatically been designed to be a game of luck and it requires players to listen to their inner mind, those who fail to listen to these fail and those who do are considered the winners.
5825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP IS BITCONNECT 2.0 on: March 10, 2019, 09:50:12 AM
I think it is very harsh to talk about them in this manner, although I don't like ripple project and I don't think I will ever like it but I don't think they are here to scam people, I only don't like their project because I believe ripple is very much centralized and it is against the initial plan of why the blockchain was first created by Mr. satoshi nakamoto.

I also believe that the coin is been controlled by banks and also the government. Apart from this, I don't have anything against ripple coin or the dev team.

If I remember correctly ripple team have airdropped some of ripples to this community based on the ranks of this forum members. That is the only community/decentralized thing they have done so far but always claiming that they are more centralized than bitcoin (there was an incident about freezing an XRP addy which is having huge balances which was an action of flawed traditional banks usually do).
5826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will Ravencoin hit $0.10 ? on: March 10, 2019, 09:10:12 AM
If you have been in the crypto space for a while now, you will see that it is very hard for anyone to predict what the price of a coin would be in the future, even crypto experts that have been trading for years also fail to give accurate predictions about the price of a coin.

My advice to you is to check the usability of the coin or token and you will be able to predict a bit of whether the price of the coin is going to get to the price you are talking about or might never get to that price.
5827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: March 10, 2019, 08:42:00 AM
Majority of small exchanges with little or no listing fee, usually does not provide enough publicity, and would not be an ideal target of small projects. Some run voting contests, which are ways of improving their own publicity.
A top exchange is always the best destination.

the reason why they are small is because they dont provide enough publicity or promotions due to a tight  budget .these kind of exchanges will slowly die in the long run because no one ever trades them and people will oftenly mistakin them as shady  . your right mate , top exchange is the best way to go because you are already sure about their quality  .  although the main issue of top exchanges is that they cost a little more fee compare to the unrated ones but that isnt a big loss if you are really conscious about your safety  .
Talking about top exchanges, most of them all started as little too, even the popular Binance started little, it’s just their strategy that supersedes most of these smaller ones and if these smaller ones know how to play their game well, they might not necessary park up.

It just same in business generally, we have large scale businesses and also small scale businesses both are doing fine in business industry, though some small ones may not see the light of the day and that won’t be long from when they started.

This is same in exchanges too; we have some exchanges that are relatively small and have been existing for some time now and still existing.  In fact they have less stress compared to the major ones, the major ones keeps having on challenge one way or the other without disclosing it to the public.
5828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: March 10, 2019, 07:56:04 AM
In this situation of crypto market is possible to earn 30% profit monthly, and if we compound it that profit will be multiple times in 1 years. But we should be spend alot of times for trading, and for investor who dont have times for trading, also have possibility to make huge profit from crypto because all crypto oversold already and the price has potential to raise to the top again, just by hold good coin we can make 10 to 20 times profit in 1 year.
Actually holding a coin has the tendency of even increasing ones profit over 200x within a year but it depends on the coin we hold, many of us tend to peg it at 20x or 30x probably because the coin is already expensive and investment in it is little because the cost of purchase is high, I once had a coin some years back that I experienced 300x profit on.

I bought about 15000 coin at 0.001usd per coin which is 15usd as total cost price but within the year when the market experienced a good BULL, once coin later became 0.3usd per coin which my total coin gave me 4500 usd(300x) profit. What I do now is to invest and trade, I invested in many coins hoping similar thing will happen in the long run while I also trade daily with 1 to 2% profit making it about 30 to 60% profit monthly.
5829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: March 08, 2019, 06:44:49 PM
It depends on the level of maturity you go with or the purpose behind  the gambling, not many people gamble for fun, some gambles to make extra cash to add to their daily income in order to meet up with the un-ending responsibilities that surrounds us, we has men exploit different means of making money provided it does not involve killing and stealing which I believe gambling does not belong, we can only term gamblers as degenerated ones if they gamble for fun without purpose or gamble for an ulterior motives.

I remember one of these days I was coming from my office after closing late at around 7pm in evening and on my way going home, I decided to branch a gambling box very close to me though in FIAT, I remove my money to play which was little below 1 usd and low and below, my first play gave me about 615 usd in return which is quite close to what I earn monthly.
5830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: March 08, 2019, 05:29:44 PM
The players have been going out of their ways to destroy their careers lately, Keppa if I am not wrong denied to get benched as well and that is something weird that I have never seen before as well, don't get me wrong I support the personalities of all players and if they want to act the way they want they have all the right to do so but these kinds of things could also have consequences, so if you want to be rebellious and want to do things your way than you have to bear the consequences of your actions as well.

If Adrien Rabiot wants to go out and have a good night drinking and partying after a loss than he has every right to do so, that is his deal. However he shouldn't be shocked if he is benched or even sold after that move because everyone would expect him to be upset after a loss, its the natural thing to expect.
5831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 08, 2019, 04:46:30 PM
Have you checked who warriors have on their lineup as center ? Do you know the players that are listed as true centers? They have Kevin Looney at center, Jordan Bell and as far as I know Damian Jones. Now don't get me wrong they are fine players but if your centers are those three people behind an injury prone and barely can play like he used to Demarcus Cousins you have to get a semi-decent player to give you at least 10 minutes a game.

When Cousins is tired they switch between 3 players who are absolutely no better than each other but when you have Bogut on your team who is a veteran and can do whatever his role he is given, you are limiting that 20-25 minute period of Cousinsless basketball down to 10-15 thanks to Bogut. They never really trusted on their Centers for a ring but they always had players like Mcgee or Zaza to at least bring some veteran knowledge and role playing.
5832  Economy / Economics / Re: R u consider rich holding crypto during hyper inflation on: March 07, 2019, 09:37:08 PM
In Venezuela ppl r experiencing hyper inflation. It can ruin ppl financially. If u hold crypto before ur currency hyper inflates . U r consider rich? Trouble times but crypto helps in economic times definitely.
It’s the amount of crypto own before the hyperinflation that would determine how rich one would be. For instance someone who would have purchased enough crypto before hyperinflation can be lucky because it would be attached to USD.

Now, whatever that makes inflation start at Venezuela , the ability to buy usd will then go down and  the person who has owned crypto would be lucky because he would not need as much UsD to buy Venezuela currency like it would have been before the hyper inflation
5833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sites That Accept Coinpayments on: March 07, 2019, 06:11:17 PM
Coinpayments gateway was created to be used for paying goods&services so you will not find any casino where you can deposit through coinpayments gateway since that would be useless anyway. Most casinos give you a bitcoin/altcoin adress where you can send the funds you want to deposit so you can withdraw you funds from coinpayments directly to that adress.
Coinpayments gateway is a centralized payment gateways but in coinpayments you can use major cryptos to pay for the commodity. This payment gateway can be a good option to be used in website selling services or commodities online to maximize the use of cryptocurrencies in the day to day life.

But, truly speaking, these payment gateways are not at all needed in terms of gambling. Gambling is much easier to start with. We just need some coins and once we send those coins to our deposit address we are ready to gamble.
5834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advise on bountys on: March 07, 2019, 05:38:08 PM
You can see a lot of bounties launching everyday. It is very important to distinguish a real bounty and identity a scam bounty. You can mostly trust the bounties which are been launched by reputed managers instead of going on for the bounties which are been started by a newbie or copper member accounts.

You should always check on the team, the product, MVP, tokenization, etc to be sure you are with a correct bounty. Bounty campaigns are a best way to earn tokens for minimum work and also those tokens gain a lot of value ahead if the project has that potential.
5835  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Fun! 🏀 Fast! 🎾 Fair!🏆 on: March 07, 2019, 05:06:47 PM
Honestly speaking less possible things happened than Manchester United winning just this week, Ajax winning against Mardid and actually winning enough to move on to the next stage seemed like a great impossibility but it happened this week, so I am not really shocked that United won as well, it was of course looking like PSG would be getting to the next stage I am not arguing Manchester United higher chance but x11 seemed like a too good to miss out, I would expect something like x4-5 or so but x11 just screams bet on me Cheesy.

I wasn't brave enough to bet on it because it looked so impossible looking at the odds but now I see it was actually just odds being in our favor. I never checked the odds for Ajax tbf, I wonder what they were getting from beating Mardid.
5836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: March 07, 2019, 09:59:08 AM
I don't see any good reason why anyone will want to trade with as low as $1, it doesn't make any sense because I don't think $1 worth of coin would give you any profit, you might just end up losing all your funds to fee on exchange.
I don't think there is any exchange that allows one to trade with as low as $1 with very low fees and even if there is any, I won't advise you to trade with the such amount of money unless you are ready to give it up as fees.

I agree, it looks strange if someone wants to trade with only 1$ but on the other hand it could make sense. But only in terms of gaining experiences and learning. Then I can understand that someone wants to invest only such small amount and not to risk anything. Still even in that case I would invest a bit more to get more realistic feeling. Exactly the fact that you can trade with really small amounts makes really big advantage for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies compared to other trading assets like stocks or similar.
Still one dollar can't be useful for trading on exchanges since most of the trading platforms assigned some minimum transaction limit value so we need to have some amount to get that value away from that minimum limit and also can have choices while choosing the trading pairs.
Smaller values too can be of huge cause because as we know the cryptocurrency markets are in demand which will only make them go upwards in the future.

Even investing a single dollar can make huge changes ahead as even single satoshi can be much valuable ahead. Peoples who newly start into trading won’t go for higher amounts as soon as they start so there surely might be a number of exchanges supporting lower volumes.
5837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading on: March 07, 2019, 09:08:39 AM
Full time trading with crypto can be HARD! However, a lot of new traders fail due to two fundamental flaws.

1 - Not utilizing discounted trading platforms or functions

2 - Not utilizing stop losses (or setting stop losses in the wrong spots)

Determining where Bitcoin will go hasn't been hard. Determining where Bitcoin will go from a neutral market...now that's a different animal. If you're bullish on a certain crypto always use a stop loss. Look for points of resistance and support, then set your stop losses accordingly. If you are trading and "scalping" your trades, you need to make sure you are paying little to no trading fees. Coinbase pro allows "makers" to pay $0 in fees (limit buy and sell orders). Nauticus is new and offers 99% discounts on all trades atm https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC . Binance allows you to use BNB and receive discounts for it. This isn't rocket science tho guys. Learn how to short, when to open bullish positions, and don't get destroyed by fees from the bigger sites  Grin
Funny enough, a lot of people still use their gut instinct to trade when all these tools and lots of analysis are out there for them to take advantage of and trade successfully. These rules they don’t follow are the major reason why a lot of them fails and they see professional traders and God to trade on their behalf when they can basically be a professional too by following trading rules.

I know it is quite not easy for newbies in trading to understand these trading tools and indicators that is why it is important not to jump into trading till one gets the full knowledge right.
5838  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Vs Lotto on: March 06, 2019, 07:00:44 PM
Any Investment that you do wisely  is better than lottery.

The only way to have a better life for middle class is by Saving and investing.

Lottery chances are almost zero as you said, that's not an investment.

If I am to make a choice between cryptocurrency and lotto and not to make more than one choice I would go with cryptocurrency ,this is because I see it as an investment and I might just have it in mind that I would be waiting for long longtime before getting a high return on my investment but then am sure of getting back my money with a high return but if I had excess money and I do not have any option of having to choose one, I would keep more with cryptocurrency and then try some out with lottery.

Lotto is the quickest and easiest way to make money. You just experience change of status in a blink of an eye. It’s a risk I would not mind taking at all. But in all honesty cryptocurrency is the safest and the best.
Both lotto and crypto are different levels of making money as a means of investment, just that for one you are sure your money will definitely come back and even come back higher and that’s cryptocurrency while for the other you are not 100 getting your money back but if luck shines on you, you will be having it back immediately and definitely higher.

I don’t think we should be comparing both because those who do lotto go in with the mindset of either loosing or winning and that is not the same with cryptocurrency. I wouldn’t advice against any either because they are both raising millionaires and billionaires on a daily basis.
5839  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: March 06, 2019, 06:25:12 PM
I do not expect how Anthony Pompliano would expect anyone to buy into this his ideology. What on earth was he thinking of when he came up with this kind of weird thought ? If he says bitcoin is meant for machines, then how would machines spend or make use of the currency and at the same time, which controls machines ?

Is he now saying that humans can no longer make use of the machines, and if he feels there’s too much stress with the use of machine, I advise he talks more on teaching individuals more about the use of currency.
5840  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: March 06, 2019, 05:52:23 PM
you are portraying those with bitcoin as members of some cult that are following some belief with blind eyes and closed off brains. but it really isn't like that. the fact that some people own bitcoin and are buying more of it has nothing to do with them just believing in bitcoin. it is about seeing its usefulness and seeing the features that it offers which can not be found anywhere else.
and bitcoin doesn't have value just because it exists. it has value because it has utilities.
I like to apologize on behalf of the OP if they made you feel believers of Bitcoin are into any kind of cult but I know he didn’t mean it that way and I will give you reasons to that. I think he is just been realistic and I will say the same thing if I was to make this post and I think what he meant by true believer are those whom have really benefit  from bitcoin aside just hearing and accepting it.

I personally didn’t believe in Bitcoin before buying buy first but it proved to me that it’s worth believing in, I wish I can share my story here but I believe I’ll do that someday and this time I can say that am a crazy fan of this cryptocurrency.
