5821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if btc drops... on: June 21, 2019, 10:21:00 AM
Alts will also drop its usd value. All of the altcoins are dependent on bitcoin in terms of fiat value. Even if it has a high btc value, the fiat value will still be the same. If that happens then you only have two options hodl or sell if you have weak emotion. If btc dumps hard again it's an opportunity for buyers to accumulate more.
5822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best exchange for IEO? on: June 21, 2019, 08:55:36 AM
For me it would be binance exchange. They are the number 1 in terms of volume if you look at coinmarket cap. You can earn decent amount of profit on most of IEOs there. There are others too like bitfinex and huobi but binance is the most popular.
5823  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: June 21, 2019, 05:25:35 AM
Financially yes because bitcoin's price is very volatile. But when it comes to privacy or security I think it doesn't put me at risk. Bitcoin is not illegal in our country. In fact many merchants here accepts bitcoin and I use it to pay some of our monthly bills.
5824  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: June 21, 2019, 04:56:40 AM
To prevent a fraud, you must research thoroughly on that particular investment or business that someone is offering you. Don't put your money as long as you're not sure where you'll be getting the profit. Don't be amazed if he offers you big amount of return that is too good to be true.
5825  Economy / Economics / Re: Repeating of all time high has begun on: June 21, 2019, 03:49:59 AM
It's still early to speculate if bitcoin will achieve new ATH now. For this whole week we haven't achieve $10k yet but I think it will happen very soon. If it really breaks the previous ATH prepare for the huge correction. I would rather choose climbing up slowly than quick pump then dump hard like what happen on 2017.
5826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: June 21, 2019, 03:12:36 AM
Only if everyone in this world bored of it.

I guess people got the same interest even after hundreds of years then it will still continue for many more years.
No one can stop gambling it was only yourself even if governments will not allowed any people to gamble well they can do it on there selves. They can also gamble in their houses without the government permission. People are doing what their wants even there is a law on it. Well, I believe that gambling will only ends when the world also ends.
Old traditions never die, usually get replaced with something more innovative. Gambling as a form of making money and having fun can be the first reason why government apply tax rates in order to fill the budget from entertainment sections of the economy.
Good point. Gambling is too profitable business to stop it. Thus, government won't allow gambling to disappear. And also, there are many addicted gamblers around the world to maintain gambling. So it will probably never end.

In our country even if it's illegal, government can't stop it because those high officials inside the government are the ones protecting it. They will stop operation for some weeks but after that it'll be back to normal again. People would do anything for the sake of money where gambling generates a lot of it.
5827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: June 21, 2019, 02:25:36 AM
here we are, with loteo we can achieve playing games online and still make your finances. i think the online games will be more matured and less violent as long as there wont be online transaction manipulation, and it will involve distant deal, interference will be minimal.

Unlike previous days where you buy a game as a whole. Now most of them have microtransactions. I don't see this as a bad thing because it will help the team behind that game to make more and give salary as well to their employees. If you're a true gamer and really love that game you would really spend money to it as a way of support. As a gamer myself I wouldn't hesitate spending if the price is reasonable.
5828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 21, 2019, 12:58:03 AM
Very few peoples only winning the jackpot at the time initially started gambling.

That is the reality, only some can take that success throughout their lives, that is their break but that also depends on how that person drags the money to his life. A lot of people are dreaming about this and only a few make it happen. Though some won a lot of money from gambling like a lottery, they used that money to build businesses and investments I can't see that as a success from gambling since that is a success through the use of his investing skills and great decisions in life.

Gambling is still a factor of his success. If he didn't won from gambling he couldn't achieve his dream. He won't be able to build his own business and have some investments. He knows that not all can be lucky in gambling and spending money is faster than earning it so he spend it wisely to secure his future.
5829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best tips for who will invest in BTC for first time? on: June 20, 2019, 02:02:36 PM
Invest only what you can afford to lose would be my best tip. Bitcoin's price is very volatile. Anytime it can go up or down. It isn't controlled by banks so it's price can't be regulated.  One thing about bitcoin is it will have a high value in the future because of its very limited supply.
5830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: June 20, 2019, 01:30:17 PM
We don't want luck we want to get paid for hardworking ,bounty that was once about how hardworking has now turn to 'how lucky you are' ,something must be done about this ,any ideas??? Since all devs makes use of Bitcointalk forum to advertise and draw people attention bitcointalk will Be the easiest strong wall standing between scammers and investors

Bounties from ICOs way back 2017 are really good. They distribute bounty right after ICO ends and few weeks become listed on exchange. Now most of them are scam, they delay the bounty distribution for a month or so then when listed on an exchange your bounties worth only few cents.
5831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: June 20, 2019, 12:34:19 PM
The market has been looking pretty confident for the last few months. The capitalization of the market is still so small, definitely this is not the end of the uptrend. I'm waiting for a full altseason.

I'm waiting for that as well. It is good to accumulate now because there are many potential altcoins like neo, ltc, eth are in a good buying price now. Few months from now we'll see them move up. Like on august 6, ltc halving will happen so I think ltc will spike on that moment.
5832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 20, 2019, 10:35:33 AM
If you know you don't have good self control in the first place, it's a good idea to just avoid gambling as a whole. Gambling's obviously not for everybody, and it can be extremely hard to stop especially once you've buried yourself in losses.

Greed can take over in trading too, especially with highly leveraged margin trades, which are essentially gambling with 100x leverage. Greed can ruin you almost anywhere.

I think gamblers think at first that they can control themselves not to be addicted to gambling that’s why they gamble but in reality they became addicted and sometimes they are in denial that they are addicted. Indeed gambling isn’t for everyone but a lot is still gambling to earn money.

They are in denial because they either want to win the jackpot or they have some losses to recover. Gamblers can't just accept they lose from gambling in just a short amount of time so they try to recover it. When they win, they don't know when to stop chasing for more bigger wins. In the end they just lose plenty of money without realizing it because they are addicted.
5833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: June 20, 2019, 05:34:25 AM
Yes ofcourse. It adds an extra thrill while watching the game. You feel like you're in that game. When they score you cheer for them even if you're just watching at home. You also feel the pressure when they lose because you're money is at stake.
5834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: June 20, 2019, 02:05:20 AM
It is hard to say that gambling will ends, as long as there is a passion for people to make money from gambling, they will always come to the gambling places and test their luck. For some gamblers, it is easy to win but for the other, it is hard to do, and even they will lose all the money. We need to know about the risk of playing gambling so we can control our money to not lose in the gambling table.

As long as there are some people that are desperate for money, gambling won't end. They see gambling as a ticket to success on their life. When gamblers are having a win streaks, it is difficult for them to control their emotion. Their inner self urges them to bet more thinking they would win, they got greedy then until the end even their capital is gone.
5835  Economy / Economics / Re: Which form of investment has highest ROI? on: June 19, 2019, 02:30:29 PM
icos and nowadays ieos have good return and very fast return of the investment. But you have to be careful and choose the hyped ones not the ones that has no potential buyer. if nobody speak about it just dont participate.

You must be early and quick to join on those hyped IEOs. Usually they're just a pump and dump scheme. Once you buy late, you will be stuck at a high price for a very long time not being able to gain profit from it. Set a percentage of pump where you will sell. Don't wait for it to double its price. Remember greed is not good.
5836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: June 19, 2019, 11:57:00 AM
It isn't bad. It's healthy for the asset that experience bear market because new investors can get in. If it only pumps you should be scared because investing on it is a very big risk. Anytime it will crash and you'll lose a lot of money to it. Only the first investors will benefit that type of market.
5837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: June 19, 2019, 10:21:07 AM
LTC imo is good now because there will be halving on august 6. Many expect it's price will reach 180usd, some even say 200usd is possible so I have many of it now. Eth is good to because some expert says uptrend will happen soon. So it's up to you what you want.
5838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: June 19, 2019, 09:35:12 AM
Gambling is an addiction, once they get addicted then it would be difficult for them not to gambling even a single day. If not treated in time, it can have dire consequences.

"Gambling" is a recreational activity or hobby and it is not equivalent to addiction. But gambling addiction can be a serious issue for many of the individuals who get involved in gambling. But addiction can happen with a lot many activities and not just gambling. It can happen to smokers, alcoholics, and even to fitness buffs. We need to separate recreational gambling from gambling addiction. It is the responsibility of the gambler to make sure that he doesn't fall in to the trap of gambling addiction.

Any type of addiction is not good. Once someone become addicted into something it slowly destroys not just  physically but also mentally and socially. It's not that easy to quit on addiction so if someone can't control himself it's better to seek someone professional to treat him.
5839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: June 19, 2019, 08:19:53 AM
There's no exact formula in gambling. It's just either you're lucky at that time or not. Same like our life there is no formula to quick success. But not like gambling where it's just based on luck. With hardwork you can be successful. It's sad that many people chase to become successful fast and wants easy money resulting for them to be addicted on gambling until they lost everything in the end.
5840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I saw the notice that Bitcoin surpassed 9.000 USD! Help about "FOMO" on: June 19, 2019, 05:31:48 AM
My main goal is to do "Holding" of Bitcoin and good Cryptos, but in this moment I would like to take some of the profits to redeem in my wallet to already help in future "Hold".

I am a hodler as well and I do suggest it's still good to buy now. We're still in the middle of the year now and bitcoin is near 10k usd. Also next year halving event will happen to bitcoin so many expects to break its ATH last 2017. Just don't watch your portfolio when btc dumps because it will really hurt you. Just think for long term like me.
