o i see you just have to transfer to them twice before it is confirmed makes since i guess kinda a waste of time. especially since i already sent everything i want to.

No.  They way bitcoin network confirms your transfer each time a new block is found on the blockchain. (10 minutes each average)  This is security.  This way the whole network confirms you have sent the coins as you said.

A 2 confirmation minimum is notable since it is so fast (10-30min).  Most businesses (even those on the darknet) will require 6 confirmations (roughly an hour usually).

By now your balance is at Seals.

Come play!

I think it's best to say that the krill system is designed to be gamed - we want our players to figure out how to earn the most for the least effort. Then we will change the rules a bit.  This is supposed to be a free bonus for having been our customer for a while.  It's a totally new system that Freemoney dreamed up a few years ago.  I first thought it was horrible and demanded it be scrapped, but then over time I see it's brilliance.  Hang with us, after we upgrade our shit, I can promise you I am going to get sick with the krill program.   Many ways to earn and reap the rewards.  I think the krill-rolls will always be the centerpiece of the system, and I agree they may need balancing as time goes on.   We may have huge krill-earning promotions in the future (imagine doubling your krill after winning some month-long promotion)  The program is going to continue to stay very interesting.

I think it's worth mentioning that though I hear new players complaining it is not fair that it is harder for them to climb up the krill ladder than the older players.  Those old players helped found the site by playing when there were only 20 of us on at peak times.

The reward system should likely be always monitored and tweaked as needed, but I don't think it is out of line at all for the old timers to have a bit of honor.

BTW Micon, I have taken down two local tournaments while repping seals since your show of kindness.  I know some of my area poker buddies are coming now...

In honor of bitcoiner's favorite son, I've added the Dankie (4.20 cents).

Oh my. Now "they" are likely to come kill us all. Wink

You're telling me you can't just go on gmail and create the new address spik420211@gmail.com?  Someone else has already?

support:
Spike, you may have made a typo when giving your email originally. The email on file is spik420211@gmail.com. If you cannot get access to that email we will try to find another solution.

me:
can't access that
$pike

support:
Is that an email account that you made and lost access to or never had? Possibly the email is available from gmail and you could grab it now.

Lol.  So tempting.

Oops, BTW.

Or tells owner to eat a dick and surprised he is locked out of his account lolz. Owner hiding at an unknown location in Ukraine .

I am sure it is tempting for freemoney...   But I'd bet 200mBTC that not only did this not happen, but spike just effed up his email address.

The downtrend line is at ~ $700 (gox). It's broken. The longer this remains the case the higher the probability of a trend change.

Not anymore.  It went above 700 for a little while on no volume.

700 is looking more significant than I originally thought.

Price broke above, but could not reach 750+ level escape velocity.

Price breaks below, but quickly returns to test 700 as resistance once again...

Market seems undecided.

30 day view seems pretty sure of itself...

It seems to me that this post pop price discovery is going about as well as it could.

5853  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: December 20, 2013, 09:49:58 PM

I think climate change was only a theory when it was first presented via the media, back in the late 1970's or early 1980's(i think it was around that time).

There are still people who do not think that man ever went into outer space.

There are people who do not believe that man went to the moon, and they think that was all a hollywood con job.

There are people who still think the world is flat and not round.

Red herrings all.  Belief in or against anthropogenic global warming has nothing to do with those topics.
5854  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: December 20, 2013, 04:50:33 PM
gotta wonder why MtGox always has BTC pegged a good $50 more than every other exchange, especially when their service is dismal.

Wonder all you like but the answer is this thread.

5856  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 20, 2013, 08:22:36 AM
wow..soon people gonna wake up to the fact Bitcoin isnt just some play money to speculate with anymore.

With all due respect if you don't think BTC is a good speculative investment at this point in it's evolution then why the hell are you in this forum?

I can respect your opinion... why don't you respect the opinion of those here?
5857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 19, 2013, 11:55:54 PM

Aaah, like an annoying little clockwork: bouncing off (from below) 1h EMA150. Come on little buddy, you can do it!

(not sure if it can. this post does not constitute financial advice Tongue)

Lol.

Considering the general technical climate we are in bouncing off is the bigger odds wouldn't you say...  Since breaking through implies change.

Then, when has btc ever been surprising?
5858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 19, 2013, 11:43:10 PM

(sorry for another sloppy short post)

next target for me: ~750 (mtgox), ~710 (bitstamp). breaking through those, and staying above them, would be confirmation for me that we're done with this correction, at least short term -- doesn't mean we can't enter a longer bear market, but I wouldn't expect another very sharp drop then in the next days at least if we cross those.

Appreciate them even if they at short.

Well look at it try and try.  Moving well I to 700s

I haven't been this sick since a stint with day trading in the 90s.  I understand some TA ideas and having watched bitcoin swing its way through bubble pops I just decided I might swing trade (not day trade)  this one.

Of course it so much easier said than done.  I'm in the black about 30 percent so far and have much of the profit in USD.  But I'm coin heavy again here...  And I'm watching charts all day like an addict.

I'd quit while I was ahead except I don't know what quitting is exactly anymore. Smiley

I think you should separate tournaments and SNGs, why dont you put a SNG section?

Depending on the client, there is one.

The second half of 2014? The fuck? It really isn't that hard to get Bitcoins accepted on your website if someone like me can do it but omfg they have lots of computer components too, I like a big retailer accepting Bitcoins Cheesy.

That's just it.  They are NOT someone like you or me.  They are a multi million dollar retail business.  They can't just hire their brother in law to install a bitcoin plugin for their zencart installation.  They have to consider all the legal aspects and logistics.  Who they pay or if they develop in house.

6 months is actually kinda slim time wise IMHO for them to pull it off well.

Want to know what a bad enterprise size infrastructure can do?  One word: obamacare.
