5841  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-18] Warren Buffett Is Wrong About Bitcoin, Fred Wilson Says on: May 21, 2018, 06:53:33 PM
Technically, Warren Buffett is inclined into the traditional way of investing- which primarily revolves around the acquisition of stocks and business ventures in order to increase their influence and sales. Bitcoin, which is decentralized in nature, makes it difficult for them to comprehend the processes and system. That is why, most of his statements are prejudicial to bitcoin's existence as he does not understand on how the blockchain technology works! Funny thing is, people who also do not know the background of bitcoin tend to be influenced by these statements and they start this revolution against cryptocurrencies.
For people who dont have any idea on whats blockchain technology or even just with Bitcoin would really be easily influenced with this words and most targets of this one are those people who are on stocks and forex trading which buffett words will really put questions on their minds it would be either they do believe directly or do make some little research first and for non-investors they will most likely to believe on the words of famous people and its not a surprising thing.
Fred is correct, bitcoin just can't get erased and it's the path that we are going to take no matter what they do. Warren Buffet is just a grumpy old men who wants to stay in the old lifestyle where he can remain living like a king.
Interesting. I might even consider that the statements that he made are actually part of his scheme. The whole thing might be an act and I even consider the possibility that he already invested into some cryptocurrencies in the market, which explains on why some coins suddenly increase on their supply.
Scheme or not but i do agree that Buffett is a grumpy old man which do keep on targeting cryptocurrency or bitcoin itself without even knowing on its actual use and proclaiming things without any consideration.
5842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Always KYC (Know Your Customer) Why NOT KYO(Know Your Owner) on: May 21, 2018, 05:37:42 PM
Guys why should only users have to provide identity why not the OWNERS who up and run them??? (are they gods?)

This is especially for the casinos which demands for user KYC documents.

Its time to make things even. kiddo edwardoo are you lurking??

I really understand your point on here which you are really correct where as a gambler it cant really be avoided to have questions on mind about the name or identity of such gambling site for us to be fully confident on using em up and entrusting with our btc deposits and sits up with our gambling site account.Just like had been said by buwaytress above not all gambling sites do have that licensing or do being regulated which it does really give the sense of being unfair on our side.
5843  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-02] Doomsayers Predict Crypto Extinction Event on: May 20, 2018, 10:57:14 PM
prices are set to suffer a massive 90% correction that will lead to a “mass market wipe out” in the next 12 months...
Well that's too fast we do only have 12 months left or do have the chance to sell all of our altcoin holdings.  Smiley
Im little bit tired of this non-stop news about speculations came from analyst or any famous personalities/economist/groups which they do always love to say negative things about crypto.I don't say its not possible but we do have still long way to go for us to develop. We may see some flaws when it comes to price growth but as long the support is there,it wont easily fade away or wipe out .
5844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An insider scoop on why "PUMP" groups are a SCAM on: May 20, 2018, 10:09:27 PM
Pump groups are not scam, they are already all scammers, they just try to scam each other because basic of pump group is not something reasonable for making money. Let them play with each other.
General thing, the scammer would be always the owner of such group where pump and dump signals been given where most victims are those people who do believe on such signal and when it had been told to buy on that price then they do follow it but there are people who are wise which they can utilize the scam attempts thru dump into its group owner that's why some people do still join up to make money and go along to that opportunity.
5845  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: allert scam primedice and stake.com is same support and same team on: May 20, 2018, 08:18:36 PM
Why are you posting this alert as if this is new information? Everybody knows that stake.com and primedice.com have the same owners. As far as I'm aware there is no secret surrounding this. If you really think you've been scammed, this should be in the scam accusation section.

Scam accusation is total irrelevant and as I have said earlier Primedice has nothing to do with such mistake. They don't owe nothing to OP itself or not liable to pay him up because its his total responsibility on checking out his balance while he was playing. If its already credited or not into its balance and also if you are a player you would really notice on the amount you would bet before you would roll the dice.
5846  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A development company just charged me $3300 for a first call on: May 20, 2018, 06:56:25 PM
I just had a 40 minute (first) consult with a US based (crypto) development company (I need development done for my ICO).

At the end of our phone call he said: I charge $5000 an hour and I had you on the line for 40 minutes, so that is $3300. I asked if he was joking, but he replied with “which part?” and that was the part in which I decided to hang up on him because I found this to be quite disgusting. He was completely serious and I expect a bill through his attorney.

No way on earth that I’m going to pay that bill. He never said upfront that he would charge me anything. If I knew this I wouldn’t have talked with him. But if I receive a mail from his attorney, which action do I need to take? Because their company is pretty big and they have well payed attorneys.

I started to wonder if this is standard for US companies (charging people for a phone call)? Crazy fucks.
You do have some mistake on here. Havent you consider on the very first place that you are calling out a development company would really have a charge on the service that they gave it to you? Talking for about 40 minutes about developing consultation would really have a certain charge and just on callers common sense you will really able to know that this is not a charity work where you can just simply ask things then hang it up when you already done on knowing some piece of advice.
5847  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: primedice not paid me my 0.144 btc on: May 20, 2018, 02:14:53 PM
In short, you mistakenly click that max bet and hit that roll button without noticing your balance? Primedice has nothing to do with that yet this is totally depend on players negligence throughout into his bet. Lets say, you have won that bet then for sure you wont really make any comments or complaints about that one since you are on profits or do benefit. This is not actually haven't not being paid by them since they don't owe you something.
5848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with decryption on: May 20, 2018, 12:04:03 PM
Even attacker would able to know the addresses between the origin and the address where coins being sent as long the key isn't exposed. The important thing on here that you should have a clean pc, even if you have transferred it on an airgapped device if the online or origin is infected then its still useless.
5849  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-17] Bitcoin Price Fails To Accomplish Predicted Rally on: May 17, 2018, 08:07:41 PM
Actually prepared for this matter because not all times the trend or scenario would repeat always on every year basis yet there are lots of factors which do mainly affect why price did pump after the consensus but opposite thing do happen to the market.I actually laughed on the meme which is posted in the article link above which is part of the reality. We do hope the same thing and now we forgot this this is very an unpredictable market.Anything can happen when we least expected.
5850  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 17, 2018, 07:17:30 PM
I am signed up with you all and have been for almost a year what are the odds of hitting the daily bonus, I usually see 150 or so online what is the total signups?

By daily bonus are you thinking of LuckyJack?
I think it doesn't have a lot to do with being online since a lot of people don't opt in to LuckyJack even if they were drafted.
Dunno what the odds are though.

Afaik the luckyjack is drawn from the all available users at Fortunejack which I believe there are thousands usernames on each draw and keep increasing so the odds is getting lower and lower day by day. It means that the odds is not fixed and keep on changing. Users can only try make sure that they do not miss to hit that lucky button everyday to try their luck.
Some of them missed the chance to claim up their bonus where some people still keep on striving to be drafted by logging everyday and might hit that lucky spot on that particular day. Odds wont really be calculated because this would really based on how many players of the site not only to those who are online. So everyone do have the chance and therefore if you do like to check out, clicking that lucky button wont really cost too much time on daily basis and that's what I'm doing until now. haha
5851  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Wallet status: Maintenance ? on: May 17, 2018, 06:21:18 PM
My queastion is when wallet status is Maintenance (deposit and withdraw), how long it takes?
Thanks

P.S. It's been over two weeks

There is no timeframe provided by yobit about this.

Usually it will take a long time, probably at least 2 months. In some cases wallets placed in maintenance from 2017 are still not unblocked to this day. If you message support, they will most likely just ignore your messages. Their efficiency is absolutely terrible. So basically, if you have funds in these wallets in maintenance then you can kiss your money goodbye, and when they actually do get to unblocking it your alts have already dropped in value a lot.

Yobit should be avoided at all costs, because they are just the worst exchange possible currently still in operation.
"you can kiss your money goodbye" I actually laugh into these words that you said which is indeed part of the reality where once you had a pending transaction due to wallet maintenance then its better not to stress yourself out on how to pull out those coins because high chances that this issue turn out to be forever because of their horrible response time and site technical problems and slow fixing capability. Some people do make use this exchange nowadays which is very a non ideal thing to be made.
5852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie question about bonuses on: May 17, 2018, 05:50:50 PM
Apologies if this has been covered 1000 times before... I’m extremely new bitcoin and only used to traditional bookmakers. I see all this talk about bitcoin sports books only needing a user name and password to deposit and withdraw(also see quite a few that do require KYC too). My question is about these sports books that have no KYC requirements but might offer say a matched deposit bonus. What stops someone from signing up, using that bonus and then signing up another new account using a VPN and getting the bonus again? Thankyou
Don't ever tend to abuse any bonuses using up VPN's because once you are caught then you would really be having a big problem into those linked accounts and also you wont really able to get bonuses by just having a simple sign up where you would really need to deposit money(bitcoins/alts) before you will be entitled to receive those bonus but as part of traditional thing, you will really need to wager those according into their ToS that's why I'm not really too much interested into these kind of promotions.
5853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to spend my crypto, where do I go? on: May 17, 2018, 05:23:37 PM
So far its pretty hard to spend crypto on a daily basis.
There are some services out there which allow me to pay my bills with it, but the fees are high and takes away the usefulness if I have to pay fees.
Zeex is a new ICO which seems pretty cool, you can buy gift cards for various retailers with crypto directly.
Check it out at zeex.me

I think that is what cryptocurrency lacks the most right now, and that is investments in ways where people can spend their crypto on the daily stuff, like greengrocers restaurants transportation and restaurants, currently there options we have all involve third parties which take more fees and more time than we would pay with fiat, but with ICOs launching now and then we see some great projects with great ideas that aim to implement crypto into the domains that i have mentioned earlier, and hopefully with time we would actually be able to spend our crypto like we normally do with fiat.
Bitcoin did have that hard time to be adopted I don't see a reason why altcoins would be the first to be accepted on general means and with just basing on how bitcoin adoption progress we do saw slow movement due the fact into its volatility is the main concern that's why it cant really be easily considered to be adopted. How these alts would be different with bitcoin? Volatility would always remain unless if they are just tokens which is fully centralized then its possible but if its a token which do depend on supply and demand then volatility would always be present.
5854  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is service of Bitgo? Is it useful? Benefit? on: May 16, 2018, 10:13:29 PM
I guess it is still pretty useful/trusted if they've been used on the known exchanges like upbit, bitstamp and bitbay (after all that happened on Bitfinex).
Currently, they are on track to pursue on a new suite of custodial services - https://www.coindesk.com/bitgo-courts-wall-street-new-bitcoin-custody-products/

Sorry but couldn't find any similar services like BitGo.
There might be some accusations towards Bitgo posted above links ^ .but still companies do make use of it which signifies it is still trustable enough and I don't really see similar thing on the net which do have the same service that they do gave.

Its better to store your coins in paper wallet and use them by importing it in supporting multicoin wallet which gives you private key....
Agree, I would choose up to store coins in a paper wallet and I'm not really much confident into other 3rd parties.

5855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does Trading bot helps? on: May 16, 2018, 08:51:13 PM
It's quite uncomfortable while facing on a computer for 4-6 hours to do scalping trade. Somebody did offer me to run a traderbot for easy and profitable trading. It will also run 24/7 and for sure it will take more profitable than watching manually study the charts and indicators. Did anybody here in this forum who's using bots for trading?
May I ask your brilliant idea please.
Thank you.
Bots are just good for automation of your trades which it will really simplify your trades yet you can able to walk away in front of your pc and the bot would do the rest but the risky thing that these bots do only follow with your settings or commands and it doesn't really have that decision making factor when sudden unexpected conditions that might happen along the way which would really result into negative outcomes. This is why I do prefer on doing manual trading,it might be boring but as long it is profitable then it would be just fine.
5856  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-15] Man Who Sold Everything For Bitcoin Won't Buy a Lambo,Has No Plan B on: May 16, 2018, 08:28:49 PM
Very courageous but also a very risky thing to do and only a few would really make such decision even myself cant even imagine to go all in with investments where you do already comes to a point where you sell on your all possessions just to go all in. If he bought between February to September 2017 then he would probably made lots of profits when bitcoin price hits up $20k on December.I doubt on whats his view on that moment or do let that opportunity to see to pass.
5857  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much do websites like Primedice, Stake, Bitsler, Duckdice etc. make per day? on: May 16, 2018, 06:35:25 PM
I've been wondering how much profit these sites make because 1% house edge is pretty low

Gambling sites will not disclose how much they earn but for sure they are earning much that can able to support their business for more years. The gambling sites are the real winner here, because many gamblers who lose their millions of money just to play on their site so basically they make money out of your money.
Well that's how business goes and as a gambling site owner you would really do things which you would really have the edge against into your players. Its not really gambling sites don't disclose their potential earnings on a single day yet you can make your calculation basing on the daily wager. They do get significant percentage over all which means the higher the wager on 24 hours then expect on whats the amount they do gain on which is really big and this thing do also on how popular your site is.
5858  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange withdrawal fee comparison on: May 15, 2018, 11:01:47 PM
I don't remember which one between Yobit or Poloniex but I thought they didn't charge any fees since the transactions were sent in batch.
I use sometimes Paymium for this reasons as I don't mind if the transaction is sent in 1 hour. I don't understand why not more exchanges use this method especially if they have large volumes daily

It's definitely not poloniex as I just checked it. They are saving huge bucks by having their users pay for their own transaction fee when withdrawing so I'm pretty sure they do not want to shoulder it for them unless they want to use it as a marketing strategy. But hey, since it is sent in batches, the fee's are cheaper since together it'll be used to pay for a single transaction's miner fee--- the batch.

Because they don't care about their clients?

Right right. Sorry about that!
Even just thinking that those fees are way too small but if we do total the volume for those who make withdrawals specially into top tier exchanges then those amounts will pile up and still a big money.Even if i have my own exchange i will practically charge up my users to pay their own fees rather than on using up on my own wallet. Sounds selfish but this is how business works.  Grin This thing is only good for promotion for a short duration.
5859  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-15] Predictions of Bitcoin Price to Sky-High by 2019 on: May 15, 2018, 10:31:13 PM
The closer we come to the block halving, and the important events and developments, the price is pretty much guaranteed to increase, especially in the latter part of 2019.

It's just a matter of summing up the obvious, which means that you don't have to be an 'expert' or 'analyst' to understand how much potential there is to catch up on in the coming few years.

It seems that everyone nowadays is throwing around with extremely bullish predictions. The only downside of this is that we might see an opposite reaction of the market in the coming months.

Regardless of how seemingly bullish the sentiment is, we are one major dump away from a total sentiment shift. It's basically a perfect shakeout opportunity before the market gets bought up like there is no tomorrow.
This is why we do keep on predicting due we do really believe on what we are seeing or had experienced towards bitcoin. You are correct that theres no need to be an expert or analyst to understand the potential because with just a basic observation and experience will really able to make your own views. This is nothing different on last years predictions and views where we didnt even expect to hit up $20k on that year i dont know if it would able to repeat the same trend again.
5860  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Asian Gaming sites that are reliable in paying out ? on: May 15, 2018, 10:06:03 PM
if you want to place bets on sports then I strongly advice you to join asianconnect88 , they take bitcoin and exchange it to EUR and there is no KYC for users who want only to use bitcoin
they have been around for over 10 years , and been using for like 3 months now
you need to contact their live support everytime you want to make a deposit or withdrawal , deposits are credit after 3 confirmations and withdrawals are instant after you contact them

I wouldn´t trust them with higher amounts. I know that they have been around for
years (and probably much longer than other agents), but there are many reports
across the internet in gambling-related forums where people had huge problems with them:

#1:
https://www.wettforum.info/forum/bookie-section/wettb%C3%BCro-news/4657770-wettagenten-broker-%C3%BCbersicht?p=4739622#post4739622

This is from a German forum where a user deposited using Bitcoin and turned his small deposit into
2600 € using a Matchbook account provided by Asianconnect. Afterwards he was told to complete
KYC even though he deposited using Bitcoin (!). I´m not sure, whether he actually received his money in the end
but in the post he states that after 12 days he still didn´t have his money and the support just stalled him.

#2:
https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/40/sports-betting/asianconnect-spammers-sure-scammers-too-1610458/

A user from this gambling forum was scammed out of 2k $ by Asianconnect and a 6-figure $ amount
was held for over a month by Asianconnect while the customer service stalled him.

I´m not saying that Asianconnect is a shady operation, but these reports don´t indicate trustworthiness either.

such accusations are rare , and they exist almost for any other site
if we look at the positive side we can see that the majority of users are extremly satisfied with the service
there is no 100% perfect site , even the top names in the market have some of such accusations but you can't define a service with such rare acts
personally I have done 3 four figures withdrawals , and always received the bitcoins withing 20 minutes of contacting support
You are right. Reading up some issues into any gambling sites doesnt really directly signifies that they are not legit anymore. They do really face up problems but the main concern on here that they do able to resolve problems in the end without leaving it behind or pending transactions into its players.I wasnt awared on Asianconnect but as i have searched up they wont able to sustain long years in service if they are doing bullshit things.
