Interesting after reading a few pages about this thread I found out that there are no proper way to invest your Bitcoin, aside from the majority saying trading altcoins and also lending btc both of which are high risk low reward scenarios for you to call it as a safe investment. Better follow what others are telling you and that is to hold your bitcoin and convert it to fiat when it is high.

if you gave me 10 btc, I think I would use part of it to trade altcoins to make some profit, as less than ten bitcoins is enough amount to start trading, so even if I go through losses at initial stage then also I can recover it in future.

I think customers would use Bitcoin as payment only if they are already using it in the first place. As a Bitcoin user, I would be happy to walk into a store that accepts Bitcoin as payment. But it would be really hard for the part of the company to conduct a lecture that helps people understand Bitcoins. Non-Bitcoin users simply wouldn't fully understand Bitcoins for that short period of time that they are in your store. Most of them might not even be interested in Bitcoins.
Actually the people who use bitcoin has the same reason why people use debit and credit, people use it for its convenience that it brings to them. I say do both as well, save some of your money in the bank or some safe at home. Then invest the rest that you are wiling to risk or lose in the long run. Because the fact is that businessmen are not going to waste any single penny for investments that they are not going to understand in the first place, just tell them that bitcoin is going to be the future currency that Bill Gates is telling. It is not an easy process introducing a new way of payment because there are several questions with it. Suppose they accept bitcoin will even one person pay using bitcoin. And also there is an issue about taxes the government will try to chase you about you earning money without having a record of your earning because they are all bitcoin.
