5841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: June 19, 2019, 03:55:48 AM
Just a few hours ago, I met someone who made his first investment in cryptocurrency. I was appalled by his lack of knowledge of crypto. He had purchased BCH worth around $100. I tried to explain him that BTC is the original cryptocurrency that was created by Satoshi, and BCH is just a forked coin. But this guy had been thoroughly brainwashed by someone and he refused to believe me.

It's really disappointing that there are still some people that are brainwashing others who doesn't know anything about crypto for their own good. Maybe that guy promise him that bch would double or even more his capital and he trusts that guy to make him buy bch.
5842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: June 19, 2019, 01:35:42 AM
Spider fighting, I've never heard of such a thing, do you have to mark them to keep track of which spider is which? I know some are wildly quick or are the spiders you're discussing more slow standing strikers?
Those spiders has different colors and designs in their body so we can distinguish which is which and they may fast moving but not enough to get away from the captors

And this was revolutionize in Asian countries and may not known in UK and US so you might have not heard of such before

Asian people always finds a way to earn money. Spider-fighting was just for young-ages before but when adults got involved they make it for enjoyable for themselves by betting their money in it. I don't know if the adults were also catching those spiders or the young ones are doing it for them.
5843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: June 18, 2019, 01:11:08 PM
I think it's just normal because bounty hunters are selling the tokens they've got. Now the main challenge is does the team behind that ICO have plans to make their roadmap real. I've joined many ICOs way back 2017 and only few of them can keep their words. Most of them after their ICO, you won't hear anything from the team for a few weeks or a month. Some reason why listing is delayed. Until their tokens became worthless on their first listing on an unpopular exchange.
5844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 18, 2019, 04:58:33 AM
House edge is impossible to beat. Casino owners and websites plan carefully their business to avoid getting bankrupt. No one would risk their money just to beat the household. If it was easy do beat the household then high-rollers would've done it already.
5845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: June 18, 2019, 04:07:17 AM
If you provide a reputable gambling site with KYC it doesn't mean they will immediately start sending out your personal info to all the authorities in the world. Basically you remain anonymous to the rest of the world except for the site, and it's not in their interests to treat their customers badly. Requiring KYC for big withdrawals can protect the users from situations when their account was hacked and all their money stolen. If it's your account and your money, you have no reason to rush it and you can be doing it one small part at a time to avoid providing KYC. In many cases it's the thieves who want to withdraw all at ones.

And what happens when the casino closes or goes bankrupt? It's possible for the team behind the brand to sell their player database. And trust me. I happen to have received already a message from someone on LI saying he's selling a database of player information.

Then those people will just know they become a victim of identity theft. They already have chargers for something they haven't done. Worst is they'll receive threats that put their life and even their family in danger. If it won't benefit you then I suggest not submitting kyc. Just find another website where it doesn't require kyc.
5846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 18, 2019, 01:27:52 AM
It is not true if you are not satisfied with gambling you should increase your knowledge before you get in gambling, try to learn gambling rules, find best website for it and slowly you can become successful gambler, to get success in gambling we will have to be confident about success and follow the gambling rule.

Yeah, that's the right way to do the best effort on gambling. But sometimes it is not really easy like what we expect. There are always obstacles and challenges on the process, that's why a gambler also needs good self-control and views everything realistically. And one thing that a gambler needs to remember for a success, "don't be greedy and lose mind".

It's hard to control yourself when you're having a win streaks. Most people wants an easy way to earn money making them greedy everytime. When they find an opportunity to earn quick they grab it without thinking the risks it have.
5847  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: June 17, 2019, 01:27:18 PM
It really did expand the world business. It also helps to promote what is blockchain technology and crypto. If a business starts to accept crypto on their payment gateway, shopping on that site becomes easier because bitcoin is a global currency and anyone is allowed to use it.
5848  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 17, 2019, 10:57:41 AM
The most valuable benefit of bitcoin for me is the use of it as payment. I can buy things online, pay it directly then delivered to our house after few days. I don't need to go at atm machines just for that. I can even pay our bills and have a small cashback on it.
5849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties and airdrops still worth it? on: June 17, 2019, 09:59:36 AM
Not worth it now imo compared to 2017. Bounties and airdrops now are almost worthless. Those tokens take a very long time to be listed on exchanges. And what you get is only a few bucks if converted into fiat. Some of them even require kyc just to have some small amount of their tokens which I don't really want.
5850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: June 17, 2019, 08:46:15 AM
Truth be told. You can't be jobless and be doing bounties. You will starve  Grin

Bounties won't sustain your daily life. You can be lucky to 1 bounty to earn much but not all are like that. Sacrificing your job for bounties is the worst thing to do. It's really difficult to have a decent job these days. You can do both but prioritize your job than bounty hunting. Having a job will keep you alive for longtime lol.
5851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL BOUNITES AND NEW PROJECTS EVER STOP? on: June 17, 2019, 07:48:41 AM
As long as this forum exists, bounties and new projects will continue. I think this is their main platform for promoting their project. All people here are aware of blockchain technology and different type of cryptos. Good feedback of their project here will greatly boost their project's reputation in social media and some blog websites.
5852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 17, 2019, 03:39:47 AM
I don't find any success in gambling. Well if you're good at strategy then you can be successful but for me, it's really hard and will go through a lot before I succeed. Well, I really recommend we must go on the practical way of being a successful man than a person who really trying hard and doesn't have any assurance that he will succeed.

There is no assurance that you can be successful in gambling in the long run. If there was then no one would work or go to school. They would just gamble for their whole life. No one knows if he will win in a lottery in the future. Pursuing your dreams and working hard you can be successful. It doesn't have risks, all you need is trust on yourself and don't rush things.
5853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: June 17, 2019, 02:48:57 AM
Most games online require devices with high specifications and good internet connection to run it properly. While many gambling games can be run with low end devices. That's the reason why I prefer online gambling rather than games online. More over, most gambling games are simple.

It still depends on someone's preference. Me as a gamer I would definitely invest to buy a high spec pc to play those new games that are newly released. I would regret it if I would just spend it on gambling. Meanwhile on gambling it doesn't bring me the enjoyment what I get from online games. All is about luck.
5854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 17, 2019, 01:22:12 AM
Gambling in emotions makes you uncontrollable and will cause a sense of lust that will make you experience defeat, and doing anything in an emotional situation will hurt yourself.
in gambling it must be relaxed and calm so that you can be controlled in the game and will take advantage of opportunities when the position of victory and you stop when you feel victorious so you have a real victory.

Most people are greedy resulting for their loss everytime they gamble. We can't blame them for that because we aren't in their situation. Maybe there's an emergency in his family and he don't have someone to borrow money. Or maybe some of them are tired of being a corporate slave that they see gambling as an escape and a ticket for their success.
5855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: June 16, 2019, 01:08:30 AM
In what way can it be considered as a religion? Bitcoin was created as an innovation to our rapid improving technology. Fiat can be replaced and use bitcoin. Same as telephone and smartphones now it brought more convenience because of the improved technology. Religion is forcing someone to believe something and worship it even if it's not true.
5856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: June 15, 2019, 11:30:20 PM
because crypto players prefer cryptocurrency and it means privacy. KYC on the contrary reveals who you are and it's no good.

People have being scammed in recent past in various cases and prefer not to give KYC to any third party or to whom who they do not know and thus they prefer to keep their privacy and not to disclose it which they can misuse it or not sure .

Submitting a kyc just for a gambling site is really a big risk. You don't know the owner of that website and he might have intentions to sell those infos he will get on the black market. We all know there are some cybercrime going on over the internet so completing those kyc's might put our life in danger.
5857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: June 15, 2019, 12:52:14 PM
daily trading still profits as long as you choose potential coins and can manage your profits well, I prefer daily trading with small profits but can continue long-term rather than having big profits but only once.

Daily trading is only for people that can focus on it for the whole day. If someone has his office job and busy from his work daily trading won't suit him well. It's better to just buy those potential coins that are good for long term. Crypto market is very volatile and every hour their is a possibility that the market can go sideways.
5858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: June 15, 2019, 10:20:43 AM
We need to educate them. Noting has value until it is get used. If you manufactured a car and nobody is driving it, it has no value and this applied to every other things. Since Bitcoin is getting adoption gradually, it's value will be greater than anything on the surface of the earth

I think that is law of supply of demand. Something's worth depends on its demand. Since bitcoin has only limited supply and its demands grow continuously is the reason why its value keeps increasing throughout this year. Bitcoin will have no value if something will be created better than it.
5859  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: June 15, 2019, 08:22:24 AM
That is really a great thing. Recently I have seen a lot of good news about crypto in the Philippines. I think they are inclined to develop and invest in a new potential area like cryptocurrency to improve the economy in a clear way.
If the Filipinos are well-informed about Blockchain and crypto knowledge over the next few years, I'm sure their country will outperform those in Asia.

There are already many merchants here that accepts bitcoin. You can already use it to pay some of your monthly bills with ease at your home. But there are still some that uses cryptocurrency as their front on their pyramiding/ponzi schemes. And still many people are investing on those ponzis because the leader are promising some high returns because of bitcoin's value now.
5860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING AND CHARITY on: June 15, 2019, 06:06:10 AM
What do you think guys? Do you think that the charity had made me fortunate to win in gambling?

You're just lucky on that time that you win in gambling. Donating to a charity won't make you win in gambling or even increase your luck. You just feel that way because it is related to human nature that when someone did good to others he relates it to his blessing. Yes it may be true and that is what we call karma, but it doesn't work in gambling. It's just all about luck.
