I replied to Timelord, sorry if that made confusion.

I'll miss you if/when you go.

Impressive coinlocket$. I know there were A LOT of abuse in the Survey I made.. I probably denied a few hundred people that "took the Survey" but didn't receive payment. Some did fall through the cracks though, appreciate that you've come up with the data. I'll tag them all!

I will find more next week I have fever now and I'm pretty sick. I've analyzed 10% so far.

Hope you're fighting fit next week - might be worth having a look in on this old chestnut when you get back - unless anyone else wants a crack at it?

Had a think about this:

I've been waiting for someone to bring this up...  Grin  Cool  Kiss

@Timelord2067... just a (very) minor correction to your OP:

Unless otherwise stated, all times in blue are NZ (GMT +12)
We're currently on NZ Daylight Savings Time... NZDT is UTC+13

Otherwise, thanks for curating this list of articles. Excellent work!

Hi,

Well spotted - I know from living across the ditch in SEQ that when the rest of the country goes onto nutty time that times on the east coast are still AEST (ie GMT +10) as opposed to AEDST.

And so it is for New Zealand that New Zealand is and always will be (unless the international date line gets moved yet again) sitting at GMT +10.   When NZ goes onto nutty time most of the rest of the planet stops being on nutty time, then when they go onto nutty time New Zealand has recovered its senses (thus nature balances itself out)...

I've cast very long shadows down Princess Street towards St Kilda Beach and along Linwood Avenue towards Ferrymead... (... and New Brighton Beach  Shocked )

I'll be over for WOW again this year.

Unless otherwise stated, all times in Aqua are NZ (GMT +12) and in blue are NZDST (GMT+13)

-<(snip)>-
I was given many negative feedbacks for such action from TwitchySeal, actmyname and DarkStar_ as well as neutral from Lutpin and Timelord2067.
-<(snip)>-
Edit : Let me know if you guys have any questions for me

Have just come across this post, two questions:

  • Are my two *neutral* trust posts correct?
  • How many alts do you have, are you prepared to name them (either here or in PM) and would you be prepared to have those alts either nuked or their passwords changed so that you cannot access them again?

*edit*

I've just had a read of my post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1702409.msg17067724#msg17067724 (Archive) you went cap in hand to mexxer-2 back in 2015 for pretty much the same thing.

Cryptocurrency users try to reclaim funds from hacked exchange

https://www.radionz.co.nz/news/national/380264/cryptocurrency-users-try-to-reclaim-funds-from-hacked-exchange - (Archive)

7:21 pm on 16 January 2019 Matthew Theunissen, Reporter matthew.theunissen@radionz.co.nz

Quote
About 40 people have come forward to try and reclaim their investments with the New Zealand cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia, which crashed this week after being hacked.

Police have started investigating after millions of dollars of digital money disappeared from the online exchange, but people who made sizeable investments during the Bitcoin bubble fear their money may be gone for good.

On 13 January, $US3.6 million ($NZ5.3m) was transferred from Cryptopia to an unknown digital wallet.

The following day its website was down and concerned investors left in the dark, except for a brief statement that said there had been a security breach.

It is not the first time digital currency investors have been anxious about money they were keeping with Cryptopia, which is similar to the way money is stored with banks.

Christchurch lawyer Clive Cousins was approached early last year by investors who didn't know what was going on with their funds.

"We were contacted initially by about three people, including a South African lawyer, who were complaining that they were having trouble transacting using their wallets and couldn't withdraw funds."

Mr Cousins said a further 40 or so people have since approached him with an eye to launching a joint lawsuit.

He said Cryptopia's success may have contributed to delays in processing transactions.

In 2017 the company claimed to have 30,000 users around the world. This increased to 1.4 million by January last year.

The lawsuit has stalled due to a lack of funding, but Mr Cousins said his clients still wanted to know what was happened to their money.

Cryptocurrency consultant Josiah Spackman said one of the problems with Cryptopia was its focus on lesser known digital currencies, which meant not as many eyes were monitoring transactions as with currencies like Bitcoin.

"Because they were often the exchange that people would go to for these lesser-known currencies - these up-and-comers - they got a bit of a reputation for that and they did in fact grow quite significantly from that.

"Unfortunately, as a result they've had these other coins disabled. So once you purchase them you basically can't get them off the exchange."

Mr Spackman said it could difficult to track down those responsible for the hack.

"It is effectively like a bank holding the funds for thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of users. And they are basically tasked with keeping it safe.

"The problem is it's easier to hack a computer than to physically walk into a bank and take gold and silver."

Police were today seen at Cryptopia's offices on Colombo St in the Christchurch suburb of Sydenham but no-one from the company could be reached for comment.

Adrian Przelozny, from Sydney-based cryptocurrency exchange the Independent Reserve, said crypto exchanges were natural targets for hackers but attacks were becoming less frequent.

"Smaller companies grew very quickly and they perhaps didn't have the controls in place to manage the amount of client funds they were holding."

A Christchurch-based investigation team is being established and includes specialist police staff with expertise in this area.

Police said they were liaising with relevant partner agencies in New Zealand and overseas.

what are you talking about.... a month has almost already passed...

that's nice this game: cryptopia: we cannot talk because of police - police: you must ask to cryptopia

Well i hope there's enough reason for their silence,

with regards to the feb 15 date given by the police i highly doubt they will resume operation on the same day. This could be another reason of waiting when cryptopia starts and create their own investigation drama.

I knew I'd seen this some place:

yes, i'm one of those. Whats the discord adress you are talking about?

Here is an invite link:
https://discord.gg/279Jcc

However be warned, I don't think there is any actual Crytopia admins who frequent that Discord, and even if they did they certaintly won't be answering any questions since there is still an ongoing investigation.

Its mostly the users of Crytopia who frequent that Discord. However its probably as up to date as it can get since they never update their website or send out any emails of what is the progess with the hack.

As I've been saying here the last thing Cryptopia would want to do is say anything that might jepordise the Police's investigation...

...and as for Discord as adaseb has pointed out:

Friends.

Background: For those of you who aren't aware Thule attempted a "sting" operation against Suchmoon in a separate thread (Archive)

In that thread I post this: (This summarizes where we are at)

(Post)

Quote
I suggest Thule might be quickseller in a Trust Wall post.

Twelve months later I am for a brief moment on the DT then it is taken away.  {1} Thule then starts a thread to place my good name under a cloud.

In the ensuing discussion Suchmoon and The Pharmacist say they are going to review my Red Trusts to see where I may have gotten wrong assertions that various UID's are alts.

Thule then switches their attention to Suchmoon.

quickseller is well known for pushing it's (name) alts under the bus when the alt is no longer of use.

Bizarrely, quickseller firsts contradicts Thule's assertions then increasingly supports Thule's assertions.

{1}

*edit* that should read logictense starts a short lived reputation thread and then Thule starts a thread...

Thule wants me to retroactively {2} remove my trust wall comments - as stated in previous posts in this thread I will not do that - I do not trust Thule and their actions over the last week have proven why I should not trust Thule.

I am posting this on Thule's Trust Wall as a warning to others: *edit* well, I would have, but it's "too long"

To summarize:

I suggested Thule might be quickseller in a Trust Wall post.

The image Thule has used for their "sting" operation against Suchmoon has over the last 24 hours been proven to be a hoax.

Thule has been online but has not come into the thread to dispute the assertion the image is a fake.

I doubt we will see Thule back except to troll.

{2}

Thule quotes theymos' recent edit concerning trust wall negative trusts demanding I remove my posts as Thule has deemed them to be retaliatory, however (1) theymos did not make their edit retroactive (2) Thule has not removed their own retalitory trust wall posts against me (3) I do not trust Thule.

It's now 24 hours and 40 minutes since Thule last posted in this thread (and roughly half an hour since they were last online) probably time to call this for what it is.

HOAX

Time to lock this thread.

If you look at the screen shot in the OP there is a trailing loop like a lower case "Y" that hasn't been crossed out- what ever the UID purportedly sending Thule the screen shot has a six letter user name with the fourth letter as "y"

Given Thule is claiming it will lock the thread I'm posting this now in the hope someone else can recal an alt that either QS for Thule has used that contains:

Have you contacted Cryptopia first? Coinbase is insured against theft/loss of bitcoins so it wouldn't be unimaginable that Cryptopia is insured as well. Could save you a lot of hassle.

My thoughts if I may is Gunbot 's legal representatives would have to establish if Cryptopia were trading while insolvent last year after the 100 51% attacks. That would then guide who (the company or the directors) is ultimately accountable for damages or costs Incurred.

It may be worth reaching out to any other class actions who have similar desired outcomes.

Just thought of something else , if you post on Friday and Monday (any time zone) you qualify for the "last three days" for the two list s that are compiled on Saturday and um, Monday

I stand corrected.

We are also about a week away from releasing sexcore-sexcoin, which will allow some very interesting merchant services. After that the Adroid client will be updated.

Exciting news. Sexcore will be awesome! Onward and upwards!

I wholeheartedly agree.

Am looking forward to being able to restart using my Android Wallet

Update: we got availability from some NZ Gunbot users to file our class action and put our lawyers in contact with a local firm. It is important to collect cases from you all as the sooner we file the sooner our cases would be part of the official police investigations.

You're welcome to post a message in this thread: Cryptopia - ONLINE ARTICLES related to hack & theft of funds 2019 and I'll add a link to the OP.

For those who likes to count a coins in hypothetical cryptopia wallets:

That might be a cold LTC wallet as this wallet: https://bitinfocharts.com/litecoin/address/Lcwr6zgXEMtPyrqeTxWTfYwUU11AuaoM1w is purported to be Cryptopia's Hot Wallet for LTC. (See also LINK)

Hi Joel, nice to have you back with us.

Yes, there's quite a few people jockeying for position at the starter's gate.  I won't bore you with my own trust list - I'm weighing up who to add as well.  I will say that LoyceV is fairly level headed (even if some of his lists are going above my head...)  The rest I'm afraid to say you'll have to work out for yourself.

There are a few people who have been pressured to remove their trust in others (not just of myself) you'll be able to work out who they are soon enough.

From where I stand allyouracid has DT (?2?) so your trust-wall-trust looks like
