5861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-05-22] What makes an ICO shaddy? on: May 22, 2018, 10:56:16 PM
~snip~
What the f*ck did i just read? About their feature. A coin which do save up the user from going to hell? What a unique and bullshit, complete non-sense it do have. Even just on the coin name you would able to find out that this aint serious.
What makes an ICO shady? When you dont see any transparency in them, in terms of their dev team.I do always prefer on checking out the team with credible, good standing, experienced when it comes to blockchain tech.
5862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gdax Vs Bittrex on: May 22, 2018, 10:23:34 PM
Which of these two is the best exchange?

I consider bittrex only for one reason and that is the volume that gets driven into the exchange. Its huge so you dont have to wait for your order get executed at all times. You just place the bid and mostly it gets filled as someone will always be there to buy or sell at the same rate as you are making the trade. So that is why first preference to the Bittrex only. However recently I have started using the Binance also, just adding up that as it is getting even better than these two exchanges so if you wanna get started with the crypto then thats the best place to get started with.
When it comes to volume no doubt Bittrex would really have the edge on here and when it comes into number of altcoins then Bittrex do have it unlike GDAX which is somehow limited and as being said it is similar to coinbase where do involve with Fiat trading. They do have eventually had their own purposes.
I have only one account in bittrex.
I dont know whats your actual point on here. So what now if you do only have account in bittrex? You are not totally answering on the things being asked on OP.
5863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: vitaliklotto: The power of the pyramids meets the power of vitalik on: May 22, 2018, 09:31:38 PM
When you said of pyramids then what my first thought was the ponzi scheme, I think it is not similar to that but it will have some tendency to that road. But lets talk about this lotto regard saying that it is some scheme. What I would like to know is about the share profit here because there is no way you will share this equally to many investors here. You must have some portion depends on the amount

Btw I can't click on anything on your site though. I opened it using my mobile and it is on chrome
Same here, i cant access the site using up my own mobile phone with chrome browser seems like op do really need to look in this matter too even lottery games isnt too much on demand but its better to fixed everything and can be accessible either on pc or on mobile.

I dont see it would turn out to be a ponzi yet when it comes to investor side i do see compounding profits when you do tend to reinvest your divedend.

also unicorns don't actually exist. 🦄"
Darn. My life is a lie...
Total nonsense.
5864  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: May 22, 2018, 08:43:54 PM
This becomes a real problem for me. Why should they be interested in my personal data at all? And what if I have many accounts?
Purpose of KYC is to fight off possible frauds and money laundering cases and talking into company's side it will get rid of those people who do have lots of accounts like you. Cool If you do presevered to have many accounts then you would really experience the hard time on making verification and im wondering where you would get those informations you would use? Dont tell me you would either buy or use others identity.I bet you wont really that thing to happen where personal informations do leak out.
5865  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the alternatives for Bitcointalk? on: May 22, 2018, 08:05:30 PM
There is alternative. Called blockchain forum  https://www.blcx.org

I have lost 2 accounts already and admin do not even bother to respond to emails. Even this account got negative rating for complaining about a merit points. Some thinks they earn more trust by reporting other users
You deserve it man! Each forum has its own rules therefore you should really be responsible on reading up first if you dont like to suffer consequences and now you are suggesting another forum with dont have even post being made on there. I dont see any alternatives or any other forum that would be match up with this one, bitcointalk has it all. If there are some forums exist then it wont really be as good with this thats why lots of people will always prefer this place.
5866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: May 22, 2018, 07:27:46 PM
I find 5 and 6 completely irrelevant. I couldn't care less about the government benefiting from my loss.
Is gambling a good thing? Of course! It has its  benefits the most important being 2 and 4. It's entertaining and it gives you a chance to win with this chance being rather high in some games like poker.
I do only consider 2 and 4 which are actually the benefits which can only be achieved by a certain player and the rest is indeed goes to the government which i dont really care at all. Gambling do really have its positive benefits but we cant really remove the fact that it would mostly give you negative ones if you let yourself took control over yourself. Always on control and just enjoy the monehy being spent into your leisure times without abusing it too much.

That is why number 2 on your list shouldn't have been there in the first place because you cannot gamble and loose money for entertainment if you are cautious of not spending or abusing too much money on leisure. I gamble because i want to win and the benefits my governemnt derives is just a bonus and whether they use it rightly is none of my business.
You are right and the thing i dont like is that the government on our country is included into the list where corruption is rampant thats why i dont really like for them to benefit when it comes to tax yet i had known on where those funds would go,even we say its none of our business but we cant really avoid to think up on things.Id rather play on an online casino and spoil all of my winnings (in case) and i do rather like to make the gambling site owner to be rich if i lose  Grin
If you have enough of money, i think you just like an entertainment and doesn't care even if you just win or lose as long as you are entertained. Anyway, i don't believe that gambling can give a positive effect to the people, maybe in some other cases with various factors would change the case (too many to mention).

If i have enough money with self conviction i will still not waste my money on gambling for entertainmenmt since there are other forms of entertainment outside gambling which are also free of charge. If you have enough money that you worked hard in earning i don't think you will still want to spoil your self by wasting them on gambling unless you have no use or respect for money.
Using up money on gambling sites doesnt really mean that you have no use or respect for money yet there are people who would really likes to play and do make use of their money on playing without minding too much on the risk or losing those funds. The important thing on here is that you should really be responsible enough into your actions which your funds being used are not on the ones being used to support your daily living. Leisure is normal and lots of ways on how we deal on it, some would be practical where they do avoid on too much spending but there are people who do loves gambling inspite on being too much expense.
5867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Number One Reason NOT to invest in Crypto on: May 21, 2018, 11:06:02 PM
Sorry for OP. That's the way it is though. It's all about security. Investing in Cryptocurrencies is one thing. Security one's assets is another thing. I believe this is something anyone looking to invest in Cryptocurrencies should be aware of ~ which is to take securing assets very seriously. The number of scams, hacks and theft in crypto is too numerous to mention. I think that's why the SEC is becoming more concerned about crypto.
Even SEC is becoming concern with crypto but still it cant do anything about it because of decentralization these things cant really be avoided to happen. Security and price volatility would be the main reasons why bitcoin or crypto cant really be easily considered or adopted on legal terms. It not really right to discourage someone to invest on crypto since we do have our own will, its up too us if we decide to continue or not as long we are aware then its up to us.

5870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: May 21, 2018, 07:42:44 PM
Its been 5 months now, since I joined cryptocurrency ,I've seen many ups and downs in Bitcoin Currency and Altcoins even in those Rank 2 to 100 in Coinmarketcap, but I just want to clarify why every end of the year starts in September then up to  December Bitcoin fly high, any fundamental reason why does the value of Bitcoin and other currency go up?
Of all the years been seeing how bitcoin and altcoins do move in those months i can say that there are really cryptoholders who became rich because of such pump but for this year we cant still assure if that pump will still happen or will just stay on this level and gradually have an increase,no one really knows but if you do like to be rich then you should take the risk on purchasing, not only on bitcoin but also with altcoins.Just remember this thing where if theres someone who become rich with crypto then there would be always who got broke and lose up money.
5871  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-18] Warren Buffett Is Wrong About Bitcoin, Fred Wilson Says on: May 21, 2018, 06:53:33 PM
Technically, Warren Buffett is inclined into the traditional way of investing- which primarily revolves around the acquisition of stocks and business ventures in order to increase their influence and sales. Bitcoin, which is decentralized in nature, makes it difficult for them to comprehend the processes and system. That is why, most of his statements are prejudicial to bitcoin's existence as he does not understand on how the blockchain technology works! Funny thing is, people who also do not know the background of bitcoin tend to be influenced by these statements and they start this revolution against cryptocurrencies.
For people who dont have any idea on whats blockchain technology or even just with Bitcoin would really be easily influenced with this words and most targets of this one are those people who are on stocks and forex trading which buffett words will really put questions on their minds it would be either they do believe directly or do make some little research first and for non-investors they will most likely to believe on the words of famous people and its not a surprising thing.
Fred is correct, bitcoin just can't get erased and it's the path that we are going to take no matter what they do. Warren Buffet is just a grumpy old men who wants to stay in the old lifestyle where he can remain living like a king.
Interesting. I might even consider that the statements that he made are actually part of his scheme. The whole thing might be an act and I even consider the possibility that he already invested into some cryptocurrencies in the market, which explains on why some coins suddenly increase on their supply.
Scheme or not but i do agree that Buffett is a grumpy old man which do keep on targeting cryptocurrency or bitcoin itself without even knowing on its actual use and proclaiming things without any consideration.
5872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Always KYC (Know Your Customer) Why NOT KYO(Know Your Owner) on: May 21, 2018, 05:37:42 PM
Guys why should only users have to provide identity why not the OWNERS who up and run them??? (are they gods?)

This is especially for the casinos which demands for user KYC documents.

Its time to make things even. kiddo edwardoo are you lurking??

I really understand your point on here which you are really correct where as a gambler it cant really be avoided to have questions on mind about the name or identity of such gambling site for us to be fully confident on using em up and entrusting with our btc deposits and sits up with our gambling site account.Just like had been said by buwaytress above not all gambling sites do have that licensing or do being regulated which it does really give the sense of being unfair on our side.
5873  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-02] Doomsayers Predict Crypto Extinction Event on: May 20, 2018, 10:57:14 PM
prices are set to suffer a massive 90% correction that will lead to a “mass market wipe out” in the next 12 months...
Well that's too fast we do only have 12 months left or do have the chance to sell all of our altcoin holdings.  Smiley
Im little bit tired of this non-stop news about speculations came from analyst or any famous personalities/economist/groups which they do always love to say negative things about crypto.I don't say its not possible but we do have still long way to go for us to develop. We may see some flaws when it comes to price growth but as long the support is there,it wont easily fade away or wipe out .
5874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An insider scoop on why "PUMP" groups are a SCAM on: May 20, 2018, 10:09:27 PM
Pump groups are not scam, they are already all scammers, they just try to scam each other because basic of pump group is not something reasonable for making money. Let them play with each other.
General thing, the scammer would be always the owner of such group where pump and dump signals been given where most victims are those people who do believe on such signal and when it had been told to buy on that price then they do follow it but there are people who are wise which they can utilize the scam attempts thru dump into its group owner that's why some people do still join up to make money and go along to that opportunity.
5875  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: allert scam primedice and stake.com is same support and same team on: May 20, 2018, 08:18:36 PM
Why are you posting this alert as if this is new information? Everybody knows that stake.com and primedice.com have the same owners. As far as I'm aware there is no secret surrounding this. If you really think you've been scammed, this should be in the scam accusation section.

Scam accusation is total irrelevant and as I have said earlier Primedice has nothing to do with such mistake. They don't owe nothing to OP itself or not liable to pay him up because its his total responsibility on checking out his balance while he was playing. If its already credited or not into its balance and also if you are a player you would really notice on the amount you would bet before you would roll the dice.
5876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A development company just charged me $3300 for a first call on: May 20, 2018, 06:56:25 PM
I just had a 40 minute (first) consult with a US based (crypto) development company (I need development done for my ICO).

At the end of our phone call he said: I charge $5000 an hour and I had you on the line for 40 minutes, so that is $3300. I asked if he was joking, but he replied with “which part?” and that was the part in which I decided to hang up on him because I found this to be quite disgusting. He was completely serious and I expect a bill through his attorney.

No way on earth that I’m going to pay that bill. He never said upfront that he would charge me anything. If I knew this I wouldn’t have talked with him. But if I receive a mail from his attorney, which action do I need to take? Because their company is pretty big and they have well payed attorneys.

I started to wonder if this is standard for US companies (charging people for a phone call)? Crazy fucks.
You do have some mistake on here. Havent you consider on the very first place that you are calling out a development company would really have a charge on the service that they gave it to you? Talking for about 40 minutes about developing consultation would really have a certain charge and just on callers common sense you will really able to know that this is not a charity work where you can just simply ask things then hang it up when you already done on knowing some piece of advice.
5877  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: primedice not paid me my 0.144 btc on: May 20, 2018, 02:14:53 PM
In short, you mistakenly click that max bet and hit that roll button without noticing your balance? Primedice has nothing to do with that yet this is totally depend on players negligence throughout into his bet. Lets say, you have won that bet then for sure you wont really make any comments or complaints about that one since you are on profits or do benefit. This is not actually haven't not being paid by them since they don't owe you something.
5878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with decryption on: May 20, 2018, 12:04:03 PM
Even attacker would able to know the addresses between the origin and the address where coins being sent as long the key isn't exposed. The important thing on here that you should have a clean pc, even if you have transferred it on an airgapped device if the online or origin is infected then its still useless.
5879  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-17] Bitcoin Price Fails To Accomplish Predicted Rally on: May 17, 2018, 08:07:41 PM
Actually prepared for this matter because not all times the trend or scenario would repeat always on every year basis yet there are lots of factors which do mainly affect why price did pump after the consensus but opposite thing do happen to the market.I actually laughed on the meme which is posted in the article link above which is part of the reality. We do hope the same thing and now we forgot this this is very an unpredictable market.Anything can happen when we least expected.
5880  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 17, 2018, 07:17:30 PM
I am signed up with you all and have been for almost a year what are the odds of hitting the daily bonus, I usually see 150 or so online what is the total signups?

By daily bonus are you thinking of LuckyJack?
I think it doesn't have a lot to do with being online since a lot of people don't opt in to LuckyJack even if they were drafted.
Dunno what the odds are though.

Afaik the luckyjack is drawn from the all available users at Fortunejack which I believe there are thousands usernames on each draw and keep increasing so the odds is getting lower and lower day by day. It means that the odds is not fixed and keep on changing. Users can only try make sure that they do not miss to hit that lucky button everyday to try their luck.
Some of them missed the chance to claim up their bonus where some people still keep on striving to be drafted by logging everyday and might hit that lucky spot on that particular day. Odds wont really be calculated because this would really based on how many players of the site not only to those who are online. So everyone do have the chance and therefore if you do like to check out, clicking that lucky button wont really cost too much time on daily basis and that's what I'm doing until now. haha
