First of all prices drops faster then boutny participants recieve their tokens.
Second limiting is good, but what to do with participants who join and do their job bad ?
Limiting is tantamount to saying that the ICO will surely a success and to limit the dump, they will release a small portion of the coins or tokens. It does not work that way, most ICO prefers a lot of participants so they have better exposure, bounty are compose of different task to spread in the crypto world. The only reason why people complain now is because no one is buying and bounty hunters are dumping, this also affect the bounty hunters as they will receive a lesser value than their expectation. Let's go back when the market is fully recovered, we will see that bounty has a little effect or no effect at all. |

The cryptocurrency market will not end, although 2018 is very bad, but I believe that the cryptocurrency market will be better in 2019, but we must wait patiently. Perhaps the cryptocurrency will continue to be sluggish in the coming months, and only deep despair can change back to hope.
People are overreacting, as if the market has died. Bitcoin has died many times, and that's the reality but it's still here. This is normal because many ICO teams have no plans to develop projects after raising enough funds, resulting in tokens without any storage value (no potential).
I don't think that is the reason, I believe they have plans but even if they have great development, they cannot market their product right due to the bear market. People are not buying now, they remain calm and wait for the market to normalize, when this changes to uptrend, I'm sure they'll be buying again. |

of course this very bad market experience will surely provide an extraordinary experience for investors and traders. for those who have been old, this may be normal, but for those who are just starting out, this is a blow that can make panic and loss. Not sure if they hate, some big names in the banking industry are publicly saying bitcoin is a bubble or a scam but we do not really know what's inside their mind. We have to remember that bankers are good in making money, if their statement can affect the market, they will use it to their advantage, so it's better to also think outside the box, don't listed to them, listen to the people.

 If Sec accept Bitcoin ETF , we can expect the huge bull run for the market . What do you think ? Will Sec accept bitcoin ETF ? Soon or later, i am believe SEC will approve bitcoin ETF. Bitcoin transaction and market cap growing bigger and i think SEC should regulate cryptomarket. Beside that, with many big investment banks involve in cryptocurrency market, i am think SEC can not under estimate about this market I believe on that, they have delayed their decision so most likely they are going to announce a good news soon. Next year is gonna be a year where all the answers will be heard, we have to prepared for that as whenever good news will be announce especially the EFT, it could trigger a big pump, in addition the BAKKT launch is just around the corner. |

Last know update for ethereum hard fork is that the Constantinople fork is going to come on block 7080000 on the 16th of January 2019.
And expect more dip before the fork, it is giving a good entry for everyone. I don't think that's gonna happen, the trend is different, it's the opposite that is happening. ETH needs to be upgraded and together with the upgrade is the price increase, having my own opinion to this, I'd rather be excited that look for negative things. Everyone wants to buy cheap and at this current price, I don't think they will not grab it, we do not need downward movement anymore. |

I was hacked on etherdelta, cheaters changed dns on the server side, and people who even have a correct etherdelta adress in bookmarks were sent to a wrong site and cheaters got private keys from ETH wallets and stole funds of users Most hacks happen in crypto is cause by user's fault. Sorry to say, but you should not trust a site that requires you to enter your private key, I heard the hack before, luckily I'm not using ED at that time. About exchanges, sometimes it's very fishy, owner might be responsible also of hacking their own clients, we should only trust big exchange like Binance. |

I thought the bull run has arrive, but once again, it leaves us disappointed. Anyway, life still goes on, continue holding for life. Hopefully BAKKT is a real life saver. |

There is no specific answer that I can answer behind the decrease in the price of Ethereum as you mentioned. However, the current atmosphere of the price of each coin especially Ethereum reminds us of the price of Ethereum at that time. Then this can be the beginning for Ethereum.
What we should be more concern of is the development, instead of price. Now, if we look at the price we cannot appreciate it, especially if there will be more fall to come. This is where the development continues but the price is being manipulated, we should be looking at this reality. |

I wouldn't dare to overlook history, as pointed out by others in this thread, Bitcoin has dropped 90% and even 95% from ATH before recovery. It barely touched 3k this time around, so it was only 85% drop, so we shouldn't be surprised if it doesn't drop even further.
Not saying history is sure to repeat, but if we believe another ATH is coming, then we must believe the super low is also coming.
Too soon to call the bottom I believe.
The price does not really have too much room to keep going down, if the price keeps going down then we are going to reach prices before bitcoin even activated segwit and that doesn't seem possible to me because thanks to segwit bitcoin has improved considerably and it is a better coin because of it so it doesn't make a lot of sense to see prices lower than that. That's the logic I arrive as well. Price already at dip now based on my analysis so I am aggressive with buying the coins and tokens I like to keep. No one can predict when is the bull run will start but with these price on the floor, it's hard to resist as we can easily make profit for short trade. |

I have not earned anything from August, last earning was when I sold some BTC, although it was earned in April. The only way to survive in this situation is to wait for good days to come. Mining is very expensive now a days. It was profitable till june 2017. Due to increase in prices miners, graphic cards and other stuff like electricity.
May-June was worst but when everyone thinks that the coming "ber" months will really change the situation, but it was a complete opposite. August was the start when campaign started to dry up although the price was relatively stable at around $6K. However, November was the low point of Bitcoin when the price went down to $3K and we haven't recovered as of yet. It's hard to predict when this market will start to fully recover. People are just saying based on their speculation and they could be right or wrong, and what happen is that most of us are wrong with the price prediction. But, we are still here surviving, though the market dry up, the hope is still in us that this will eventually turn to be a real bullish. |

I think they have their own popularity and I think I will also invest to EOS while having Ethereum in my wallet because as I noticed to the market EOS has also a great chance to grow this coming year. That's why I keep some of my savings to buy and some investments to EOS to gain a better earnings.
Good idea, thinking it will be the next ETH will make you more motivated. EOS has been performing well, if not because of bear market, price could have increase more, but this tech is really awesome so buying now is really a good decision as eventually this will rise at the right time. Tech will stay but price changes from overtime. |

The question is, is that really necessary? Well for me it's not , it would be exciting if satoshi will remain anonymous, besides
his technology is here and it's open source so anyone can benefit on it.
I also think that if he will reveal his name, he will not anymore leave a normal life, that's why he remains to be anonymous, I guess.

that is why you should never listen to what others tell you on the internet specially when it comes to money. they will never be helpful to you, anybody who is wasting their time posting things online is doing it for their own benefit.
and it is not only about the negative comments about bitcoin. it is true about everything and both positive and negative comments.
You just wrote my thoughts! Each person should think with his head and responsible for his own choice. Then there will be no regrets and accusations. And I think that many of those guys, from 2011, are still here in crypto and they don't regret for anything. This market is full of greedy people, some would be willing to give their fake prediction just to take advantage of the weak people, of course they do give false information as well. So, what are we going to do? We should be smart, rely on our own based on our research so we are convince in every action we make. |
