I'll switch with gold and keep it until 10 years   Lol and I think that is a smart decision to make as gold will surely give you good profits if you hold it for 10 years as we don't know whether bitcoin will survive for next 10 years or not so holding it can be risky. Well this is a smart move but you can only that if you have other stable source of income but for those people who doesn't have stable income and just hoping to get good profit for their sources then this idea is not going be a good idea for you are just going to see the result after waiting for 10 years. Because most of the people wants a daily basis result investment. Judging from what I am reading Gold investors are already selling their gold pieces as they know gold as of now will continue to go down, we can't predict if gold is still a good investment but my suggestion is you buy gold when it becomes more lower than today. 10 years is a big time for you not to have a mistake be careful. |

Something we do know is that bitcoin gets new value each year, soo im pretty sure you can invest into it without regret, some days ago bitcoin were traded at 600 now it has already raised a bit, and should go a bit more as December aproach, people looks like do like pumping bitcoin for christmas gifts.
1 btc is a good amount to have but not enough to make huge profits as we cannot expect that price will reach in millions so if you want to make higher profits you should be ready with atleast 15 to 20 btc. You are right but guessing in trading can give you a lot of headache at the long run. And also Bitcoin's value stays at the 600$ range at a long time I can say it is already in the accumulation stage people are warehousing their bitcoin so that they can sell it at a higher price. But I can also be wrong as the date for Bitcoin is not as clear as the date given by real stock brokers. |

I think that this one would never happen as long as it would not be used in money fraud which is really a big law breaker, but if ever the first thing to consider is of course file a cased agains't that order but this would surely needs the support of other bitcoin users. Here is one big example why Bitcoin is involve in big fraud " HashOcean run away from 700,000 investors" One of the latest scams that lasted for more than a year which accumulated money and never was caught or even planned to be punished by law. The reason would be, the transaction is really quick and secured. No tax and no surcharges for anything. Its not even required to carry in hand as it is a digital currency. No third party interferes. As it is fully depend on online, keeping the wallets secured with given keys is mandatory for safety. Few countries accept btc, so it is more convenient for the customer to do online transaction for any purpose.
Transaction fees are irrelevant this days for example there are no transaction fees being paid by paypal users which are buyers, 0% interest rate on loans. Because they see an increase in price would be displeasing to customers now right now there is barely any transaction fees in any part of a sale. I think bitcoin can help poor countries because poor countries have so many corruption and bitcoin can reduce corruption.government are corrupted so using bitcoin people can identified where government using their money.
Bitcoin can't reduce the corruption since the corruption (governments) itself will make sure Bitcoin stays outside. They won't let Bitcoin gain ground till a level where it is infront of the government's door. They will act before that. Government will ban bitcoin if it can goes against corruption, it's sad but it's true. Btw people just don't care about it, otherwise they will be already on the floor  No, Bitcoin can't stop corruption or even just reduce it. We have a real life example, drugs that get you high are illegal in certain countries yet why is there still corruption? Even though they can't stop the circulation of illegal drugs what they just do won't produce anything related to corruption as there are other ways for the government to have money like taxes. I don't think there's a safe way to grow your Bitcoins at all. Even coins that promise a really good outcome in the future goes to waste or becomes a scam coin. Why are banks being compared to bitcoin? You don't grow interest on bitcoin unlike banks , although bitcoin tends to fluctuate whether high or low banks have really have low annual interest rate. You really don't earn money from bank and also they really eat your money in terms of buying power. But what if the price drops bitcoin? You would have difficulty ..  This post is an example on why you don't want bitcoin as your salary, first off it flactuates frequently, you do not want your salary to be undervalued when you really need money. What about people suddenly stop accepting btc for cash than your bitcoin will be worthless and you have nothing left to feed your family. 2016 was calm after the Halving hype, and then Bitfinex happened. Defenitely not the year of bitcoin. But maybe we will see something big happen at the start of next year or late this year.
But this 2016 was given us big profit since the start of 2016 the price is below $400 and now gives us additional 40% increase of the price we can say that bitcoin is great this year and we are hoping that next year would be more income coming to us. For you it might be 40% but there are a lot people that managed to more than double their money within a year due to the peak that we have experienced back in June of this year. This year has been fantastic for those that managed to make a good profit. Perhaps that when SW gets activated, and more clear information about the roll out of LN, that the price will take another jump in 2017. Patience is what we need. Well, in overall we have already an increase of a 100% for this year alone, so you were able to buy the cheapest price this year for sure you have already doubled your money easily, so with that progress, it is just fair and right to call 2016 the year of bitcoin. Well if you noticed the post in Micro Earnings about last 2 years ago, Faucets back then give a generous amount of bitcoin because the value of it was cheaper compared now, But I wonder if you compared it right you still have more bitcoins back then compared to having it now. I stopped claiming Satoshis from faucets a few months ago because I can barely earn about 20000 Satoshi which is barely over .10$ because it is pointless when you get there. |

I think you meant 0.03BTC. 18$ is actually already a big amount of money in third world countries. I can survive having like 6$ a day in my country -- the Philippines. It's not that because my country is a poor one but because the expenses are really affordable. Well, you can choose to live a life of luxury but, it is not really necessary. That 6$ is enough money for food, transportation. It's enough to survive for a day. 18$ can feed a family of two or three with good quality foods already. Well yes 18$ is sure is enough for your family to feed on but how about the other expenses or even your future? It won't make your kids have a good education if you just rely on that 18$, however 18$ is a big amount if you are earning it online and not doing it full time. Well having 18$ a day as an extra income can make wonders you can even start an investment for you to save extra money. |

Well you can't hate Paypal that much besides before Bitcoin Paypal used to be the middleman among the transactions also the fees are really low, also there are no fees for buyers as the fees are for the sellers. I'll be happy to receive my salary in Bitcoins but if I will be allowed to make a choice I would request it to be in half since I receive my salary on 15th and 30th, It would be great if every 15th its in Bitcoins and every 30th it's in Fiat, that way I don't need to convert to Fiat if needed.
If you don't want to convert your money on Fiat, why will you accept bitcoin as your salary on the 15th? It is non-semse for a company to pay you 2 kinds of money on the same month it would be hard on the financing department of the xompany and it will complicate things, also it is better for me accepting shares of stocks from the company as it can make me work harder for it to grow. |

Faucets may be good only if you are new to the bitcoin and if you are not aware about the other ways of earning bitcoins, or else its not worth to spend our valuable time to get few santoshis.
