5881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 05, 2019, 03:01:19 PM
I can't remember as well but it was on PrimeDice though it has low risks bets, to be honest like having a 75% chance of winning. And if I remember correctly I try some on Freebitco.in too but chances to win there and get some profits over there are very time-consuming and not so long I totally quit on that site. The higher the chance of winning the more streak you'll probably gain.

That denial is really a good indicator for a possible bullishness, though hindi ako ganoong aasa, I will just observe the market. That's a 1D chart might be a good way is way for a day or two before confirm a breakout. Might be possible na baka sa sunod na buwan din yung ATH na hinahanap ngayong taon, 14k is a possibility dyan. Kagigil yang RSI na yan kung may pera lang.
5883  Other / Meta / Re: is it possible create an account anti-merit? on: August 05, 2019, 04:42:26 AM
I guess to do it is put a text on your text profile or on your signature that you probably don't want any merit to be received. That way I guess people will never give you a single merit, though it isn't a 100% that you will not get it, still there's possibility if you will explain it fully that you didn't really want it.
5884  Other / Meta / Re: Inquiry about the ban on: August 04, 2019, 02:57:20 PM
It isn't ban yet it is just locked, probably there is unrecognized activity going on with your account and the forum locked it. You can visit this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0 to give you an idea how to recover it.

Seems @TryNinja give it first, just follow the link and that will solve your problem, though it will take time as there are still accounts in queue for it.
5885  Other / Meta / Re: User Post Notification on: August 04, 2019, 09:15:23 AM
The only thing closest to that is this bot made by Piggy [RELEASED] @mention notification bot - now with Telegram but I guess this will not notify you instead it will be the user itself. The forum doesn't support the following option for a specific user that you'll be notified if ever he posted a topic or post a reply to anyone's topic.
5886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best solution to handle gambling addition, in a country. on: August 04, 2019, 08:48:46 AM
Why not limit the gambling days and instead of total ban it should be only accessible during weekends. Cockfighting is the way most people gamble here in my municipality but the mayor banned it, the people look for other place where to gamble, totally it can't be stopped. I see to put a limitation over gambling might be a good solution.
Very nice ideas but I think governments may not do that and remember that governments also do benefit from the gambling companies through tax and reducing the time or days that people play gambling may affect this benefit to governments. In my country it is not a bad thing to play gambling and there is no law prohibited any individual not to open gambling businesses. In fact some of our politicians do open sport betting central as a constituency projects! We should only advise people to play gambling with the money they can part with and maybe report perceived addicted person to government’s agencies for rehabilitation.
Not in our municipality's case as our Mayor totally bans cockfighting and even the newly constructed building for such gambling has been closed and even card games have been prohibited, though there are still doing it in a secretive way some are still punished if caught on the act. Our Mayor is a woman and totally not into gambling, and right now people in our municipality feels change really is coming.

I'm thinking to have a HODL word too on our own language probably with the inputs of some WO here on our local board.

What you think guys? How about KAPT as the HODL translated version on our language, it means "kapit" and seeing "KAPT" too means captain. BTC is the captain of all crypto.

Yoshinoya

Some text spinning has been made.

Bitcoin Processors (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) BitPay confirmed that they stopped their operations in Germany via email sent to Cointelegraph on August 1.

In the email mentioned above, a BitPay PR representative. Jan Jahosky, citing regulations which come into force next year in Germany, is the reason why the company decided to suspend services in the home country of Bayer Munich.

Meanwhile, the local information technology news outlet, Computer Base, announced earlier that it will not be able to offer Bitcoin as a payment method as a consequence of the BitPay suspension service in the country.

However, the outlet also acknowledged that most customers pay using PayPal, with some also using wire transfer, while Bitcoin does not appear to be a popular payment option. However, alternative open-source self-hosted payment processors do exist like BTCPay Server, which reduces dependency on third-party service providers

5891  Other / Meta / Re: Reporting Proof Of Authentication posts on: August 03, 2019, 02:49:11 PM
I have often wondered why some proof of authentication posts are allowed and why they aren't.
It is allowed as long as it is not just for bumping the thread to be always at the top or gives incentives of posting it and why others aren't allowing it maybe it doesn't confine within this rule https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2284371.0.

My understanding is if they are offering a monetary incentive to post a proof of authentication post they should be reported. However is this not what all proof of authentication posts are?

Yes, giving incentive over a post should totally be reported, not all because some are just for proving ownership over the account, there are cases that an account has been on the google sheets even though that account totally not done anything, so to combat it the POA has been required, I can't tell when it started maybe by 1st quarter of 2018. Here's a good topic about it and @zenrol28 even made a suggestion to further enhance the POA system. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5049737.0

May I ask what the specifics are when reporting proof of authentication posts? I will also put the suggestion out there that all proof of authentication posts should be done off site and made against the rules.
You can make this thread of mprep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2284371.0 as a basis of reporting those. Regarding off-site POA, I can't think of any.
5892  Other / Meta / Re: Forum, sex, crypto. Are there chances to see growth of sex industry adds? on: August 03, 2019, 03:16:14 AM
I see some adult-related projects on bitcointalk before and even have a signature campaign I guess as long as no NSFW content seen on signatures I guess that way is okay. Adult content projects has high chance of booming on this industry because anonymity is what crypro at its best. I doubt theymos would even allow such ads, the forum rules negates that.

If you mean being blacklisted by a campaign manager I guess you do have the right to ask him to remove it and implicate your reason that it isn't right because the one that used your account is a spammer. Don't worry I know campaign managers will take a look on the issue in regards to hacked accounts if only proven it is really hacked.
5895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Career on: August 01, 2019, 04:41:26 PM
It is interesting you said your computer CPU broke down... or is that computer CPU?  Would you mind telling us why it broke down? You sure the poker website isn't using your cpu power for something else, like mining cryptocurrencies?

I like the idea of career in poker. If that is really possible I would try to learn to be a poker player too.
I don't think it's good depends on poker game, it doesn't matter you can win all the time but you spend money from poker for your kids future. Gambling does not always give you an advantage, you should not make it the main thing to make money.
Exactly. Try to have a stable job that's way nicer if you really want to save some money for your kid/s. Gambling is at a 50/50 chance and sometimes it is even lower than that, other benefiting factors are being greedy and let emotions take over when gambling. There are real career professionals on poker though I find it as a hobby for them and I guess it isn't easy to get there it involves talent and most of all money.
5896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Should Know Before Playing A Crypto Betting Game on: August 01, 2019, 01:51:52 PM
That's why it is better to investigate first on the gambling sites first especially the new ones before diving in, yeah there should be a code open source on Github but that alone isn't making them probably fair and there are still possibilities that they might turn to be the filthy one. I'd probably gamble to the most trusted one and have lots of reviews by the community and that's way safer.
5897  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Duterte halts lotto, other gaming schemes licensed and franchised by PCSO on: August 01, 2019, 09:54:38 AM
Though it is not our fault that these people are betting with almost not 1% chance still it is from the people at ang ginagawa lang dapat nila ay to manage the lottery and the funds for the winners if meron man pero kung yun ay ibubulsa lang ng iilan at hindi ibibigay sa mga nanalo talaga or even laid doon sa mga charity that is another story.

If you will read my statement above, what if talaga na makialam ang blockchain technology at smart contracts lalo na sa usapin sa lotto so that corruption will be mitigated or even put to extinction.

Lol.

Please no. Don’t bring this thing to our forum.
I don't want to interact with just an emoji as well, I am contented with what emoji we have by now in the forum. Well, these emojis we can see can be posted in the forum though others aren't viewable just marking x on the emoji but then the forum really allows some emojis.
5899  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Troll Poll - voting has begun! on: August 01, 2019, 02:42:41 AM
gameprotect is going head-to-head with roach and TOAA they are the best picks and deserve to win this poll. Does that mean that there are only two that will win in this contest just like how many votes to cast on?
5900  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Duterte halts lotto, other gaming schemes licensed and franchised by PCSO on: July 31, 2019, 03:56:18 PM
Why not expand the lottery of PCSO using blockchain technology or using smart contracts that way corruption might be eliminated. Blockchain technology is far what I see na posibleng solusyon sa anumang korapsyon. What you think about it, will this be implemented on the near future lalo na sa PCSO?
