btc-e is heavily needed, bter is full of bugs. Look at 2 different buy orders at .0041 ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) 3 different batches of orders at .0038 ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) sort this shit bter Observation, this behavior you're noticing at BTER where multiple orders appear at the same price, appears to actually be a case where BTER needs to show one more digit after the decimal place. Watch closely at the trade history when someone buys or sells a group of those orders that look like they're at the same price, and you'll see it's just something silly like 0.00038, 0.000381, 0.000382 orders all appearing to be 0.00038 in the order book. This also appears to be the reason for buy and sell orders that appear to be at the same price in the order book not executing, because there's a mismatch in the amount small enough that BTER isn't displaying enough digits. Yep, noticed it this morning, though I can't add another digit. Might be api stuff like with btc-e

I hate these threads more than copycat coins announcements. New coin will make few people busy and entertaining, this is copycat too but boring one.

If it wasn't bad enough that the coin has a yak in it's logo, imagine what people will think when they learn that the name stands for 'yet another alt-coin'.
what about well-known "YACC - yet another compiler compiler" ? ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Where's the originality in that? People want a catchy name that they haven't heard before, not regurgitated ones. I think having a good name can be instrumental to the success of a crypto-coin, and a bad name can be detrimental to a crypto even if it has a good innovative concept. You have a point there definitely. Both YAC and JNK creators made coins that vere pretty innovative compared to crap that was and still announced here but both were half-arsed in naming their coins. Stupid and childish thing to do. Though I think YAC managed to run away from the full name pretty much... YAC is already used by almost anyone, that full name is rarely mentioned..

BQC, FC2, RYC, all those new BS coins would never be added to MCXNow if I had to guess.
I guess my question to the people who are upset about this.. How can one start a discussion organically about MCXNow? It seems like even suggesting using it, with supporting arguments is considered spam.. How else do you start a discussion?
Well, make this thread a discussion and leave it there. And tell the gang from there to stop opening thread after thread and put all they have in it. And you'll be fine and it won't be considered as spam. But when admin over there pay people to open threads here to spam his shit, than expect people to hit back.

well, if he dumps them he won't get rich now. Daily volume on bter so far is barely above 100 btc.
However, I don't mind him or anyone else dumping, they have the right to do what they want. If coin is strong enough to do good at market it will, if not, it won't.

And here it goes again - mcxnow spammers. How much you got to post it here?
This is what pisses me off. You have a bunch of stupid bars next to your username so you feel you can say "oh yeah mcxnow sucks" Well hey, how about you substantiate your claim? WHY should vircurex be supported over mcxnow? It isn't spam if your position has no fundamental basis. Leave my bars alone ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Well, mcxnow spammers are pissing me off with their amateurish attempts to promote (read: spam) that site here in planned and often paid campaigns. But I've seen one banned this morning, hopefully that's what is going to happen with all of you until you stop opening thread after thread after thread about it. And I don't give a shit, let alone support vircurex but I don't see vircurex members spamming this forum unlike mcxnow one.

Oh no, not this insider trading scam exchange again. 200 people active and 190 of them know each other.
and 185 simultaneously come to bitcointalk to post about it.

Most of the orders are for very small amounts. It's very easy to manipulate a non regulated exchange.
yep, volume is very small, there's not enough "financial" power on bter. btc-e could do wonders for yac, shame they haven't added it yet.

And most people goes to Bter to sell alts, not to buy them. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Obviously that isn't the case, as they wouldn't be able to sell if there weren't an equal number there looking to buy. Eh, sort off, agree. But still there's more people (read: miners) hurry to sell and with pretty small volume it's much easier to send price down with not much coins sold. We'll see how this one will go and that's mainly to people who are buying at this point. Are they buying thinking it's very cheap and great entry point to invest or they just hope they'll sell at 10-20% of profit. First one would be good option as it would mean the coins are changing weak for strong hands, the other one wouldn't be the one that would put too much smile on my face ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

CPU is closest to be most fair game but AWS is problem. Botnets not that much, they deal with lot of crappy processors but aws has some serious power that is unfortunately exploited by some individuals with yac.
not really exploited. anyone can sign up and pay for it. thats like saying the rich have too much of an advantage with GPU mining cus they can buy more. Of course anyone can do it but that doesn't mean it wasn't exploited. Anyway, it's semantic stuff, you should know what I want to say ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Fair game is close to impossible at this time as computing power is there and easy to get, specially if you have some spare bucks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .. I was reading some threads back then when Tenebrix and Fairbrix were released, pretty much everyone was at same hashing power - 3-4kh, lol, nowadays huge power is few clicks away.

I don't think a coin that has a yak in it's logo can ever reach mainstream acceptance. Maybe as a joke coin, but certainly not as a serious contender in the crypto universe. I would put it on the same level as BBQ Coin, except that BQC was the original joke coin, so YAC is actually inferior to BQC.
In other news... the avatars you used so far impose such a reliability ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

it is definitely, yac was last that had any serious interest. But I guess new releases will stop soon when they realize it's not that easy to just announce it and bank from it.

I don't have anything to sell (unless I brainstorm something) otherwise I'd definitely start selling something hat can be paid solely with yac. We have to talk some asic seller in accepting yac ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) People are seriously shitting it, I'll have no funds to buy it anymore ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
