5883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Surges Higher (& Higher) on: May 10, 2015, 11:04:52 AM
Whether it goes higher or not, but we are definitely not going down below $200 which beartrolls were barking all the time, and that's making every Bull feel proud considering the current situation.

We are in another deadcat bounce and not yet at the bottom for Bitcoin.

We are going below $150 (within several months) before we go to $1000 again some years later.

And I am not a Bitcoin bear.

I guess we are gonna raise for $1000 without touching $150. You can see the market for now, I think it will hold it just for a moment before it will going to the moon and hope everything is all according to the plan
5884  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: May 10, 2015, 09:54:19 AM
It seems to me, although i can be wrong, that about 90-95% of users of this forum own less than 0.5 BTC. Am I right?

Anyone can attest that?

You're probably right but there's no real way of knowing. Some very established posters often casually mention having tiny overall amounts.

Lets say that is true and why some people are still buying bitcoin and where it gone? I think they always buy and I guess it will more than 5 btc but still they poll and said that got below 1? How to all that make sense?
5885  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 10, 2015, 09:40:18 AM
Well, bitcoin has already been at $1000, so it's possible again.  The only, and I mean ONLY, thing it would take is for people to bid up the price that high again.  It doesn't matter if more people adopt it, it doesn't matter if people hold it--folks just have to want to pay more for it.  If there was only 1 bitcoin left on the planet and people would only pay $1 for it, that's what the market price would be.

Why do you saud that people want to buy $1 for 1 bitcoin? If in this planet bitcoin is left the last one. Many people will bid for it and then the price is gonna skyrocketing and will get to the moon, because it become so rare about this bitcoin and the market will know about it anyway so they wont sell it cheap for sure

I get what you're saying, but consider a time in the future where no one wants bitcoin.  For whatever reason, could be that it's been made illegal in many countries, could be that it's become obsolete.  In that scenario it wouldn't matter at all how many were left, because demand wouldn't be there.

That future that you saying is so far to go, I guess that will be decades or more until that day come. So meanwhile we can start collecting it and we can have some more profit now and before that time come there will be some issue to tell us to dump it. But with that conditions we are still getting profit somehow
5886  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 10, 2015, 09:32:52 AM
Whether you save or invest depends on how much money coming in you have. Personally I like to save most of my money and invest a little in bitcoin. I think bitcoin could be a decent investment in the long run so I plan to hold for a couple of years at least but if bitcoin doesn't really go where I want it to or fails then I'll still have my savings.

I am also saving at this point, even when it gives me barely a decent return. Currently 2.20% anually. Better than nothing, and it's a very safe and stable manner of growing your money.

I hold my coins because I believe in Bitcoin. And from time to time when the price is quite low, I buy and hold, and if the time is right I sell them again. Extra profit  Smiley

So that means you are just wait for the right time to sell right? So how about if the right time is more than a week? Do you still wait it then sell? That is a real problem if you just buying and the price keep dropping? What do you suggest for the time like this?
5887  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: May 10, 2015, 08:49:47 AM
I'm not sure if the government is afraid that bitcoin will take over fiat.  You will still need to pay taxes in fiat, which will be a portion of every transaction - sale/income/expense.  Fiat will have a place in the economy because it's what people trust, regardless of its fundamental flaws.

Yes, as long as you need to pay taxes in fiat, there will always be a need for fiat. But think of a country with a huge trade deficit. If Bitcoin becomes an established international currency, they will be happy to accept bitcoins which can then be used to bridge this deficit. If dollars are welcome in places like Argentina, bitcoin will also find a place.
If the bitcoin takes over the fiat money theres no taxes to be pay with the government they would not give to us what they want. Theres a thing that you can't replace in this world. But using bitcoin in a country like philippines its a great help because bitcoin is the largest exchange rate here at the Philippines.

I guess there will be tax no matter fiat or bitcoin, why? If there is no tax to be paid how are they going to developed their country, altough not fully is for our country but still some of them must corurpt some and if this bitcoin larger they must take the full control of it then a new regulation will be made to prevent something happened
5888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: May 10, 2015, 08:45:25 AM
My trading strategy is to buy a coin when there were negative news and the price dropped as a result of bad news. Then hodling it for a couple of days/weeks and sell at a higher price. This worked very well so far, not for all investements, but for at leas 3/4 of them.

Which coin did you buy? I guess not all coin with the same condition can last long if they going to drop? 3/4 is already so many of it but you still need a lot of information of that coin if not you wont be able to get profit from it. I never do alt coin trading, I just get from bitcoin, if you can share that is a good things
5889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: May 10, 2015, 08:40:13 AM
I made 0.09 BTC in trading some low volume coins on Poloniex and got 0.012 BTC from A-Ads. So far, a good day Smiley

That is a great amount for today. What a great day you have today  Grin. I just got some about 0.02 from trading, altough its low but its good better than nothing, I hope I can do better for next day. Btw what altcoin are you play in Poloniex?
5890  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: May 10, 2015, 08:18:55 AM
What's kind of website? I think if you have brain enough you should know that website is faucet!
Faucet may not good for you but for someone is good!
You can't even know that what's kind of website? LOL  Tongue Tongue Tongue

For those who can cheat it may be its good and that become their living fund because they can get a lot from it. I think some of people use it because they got the bot to auto play it and they just sitting do nothing then make it useful.  But for me its still just wasting time because I didnt have bot to play it
5891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you introduce Bitcoin to your friends and family? on: May 10, 2015, 08:15:41 AM
Smiley I'm using guerrilla method..so I printed lot of paper wallets, distributed them and told people to keep..I'm time to time even tipping waiters in clubs with wallets. Last time (yesterday) I gave one to young cool assistant of my dentist..

How come you giving tip with bitcoin? Are they going to believe what is that paper wallet? Are you going to make them curious so you can try to explain them in details and ask them to join. Is that your trick?
5892  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 10, 2015, 08:13:20 AM

but if there are an emergency and you need those money, you can't get them because they are locked(if for fixed deposit you mean that) by the bank, also the return per year is very slim

i think it's better to create a business if you want to save money, then just simply invest them, in something that has low risk

for example you could buy things on ebay and sell those at a higher rate somewhere else

i think its better to invest your money 30-40% and save your money 60% to backup if you need anything
because an investment have risk to lose your money.

my example isn't exactly an investment, you could buy stuff that you need anyway and sell those at a higher price on some unknown market online, some random forum is ok too, the only problem is maybe scammers...

I dont think some other forum will not know the real price for each item, because everyone dont want get loss right? You just can hope to buy something lower from the real price and sold it for higher a little bit. Not every forums is legit so better be careful if you want to sell items
5893  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: May 09, 2015, 06:32:05 PM
it is impossible for it, for the price of $1000 the second time just very heavy.
but if it happens of course my life will change 360 degrees and will do anything to please all those who are near me Smiley

Why should not be possible, everything in this bitcoin is still possible and many people will believe that price is going to $1000 for the second time and the time is near now. Btw I just correct your word if change your life 360 that means you are back again just like the way you are now and there is nothing change with you. I think the right way is change 180 degree  Grin
5894  Economy / Economics / Re: The banks should be repealed on: May 09, 2015, 06:14:31 PM
The money must be printed by the Ministry of Finance. Do you agree?
Everything should be replaced by Bitcoin, so there is no actual printing needed to be done. Needing to print money on demand = faulty design from the start.

How are you going to replace all things with bitcoin? If you did that how are you going to buy bitcoin? And how are you going to invest in it? With disaperance this bitcoin gone you can't do things with only just bitcoin. There is no standard price for bitcoin

5896  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 09, 2015, 05:53:33 PM
Saving in a Bank or Bitcoin is the best possible options at present. Banks Will pay you interest and the money will be safe and can get access when & where required. Invest in small things and diversified products so at least you go through loss in one you can cover it up from other.

I dont think saving in a bank for now is the best thing you can do. With that low interest are you going to put it that way? Better if you do some investment and you will get higher payout than bank. You mustnt save more than invest, its like gambling. If you profit its alright if not just let it go. Dont set that mindset

You are right. Bank doesn't gives you that much interest but atleast your money is safe. You can withdraw anytime you wish to. While investment is long term you can't withdraw in between and even if you withdraw there are many costs associated with For eg. Life Insurance.

How come you are so sure that your money is safe? Actually they are using out money to invest on something or may be they use it to do other things so they give you low interest and eat up th rest. Bank is not stupid just to give you such money like that and if you just save there. You can't really get alot from it and for withdrawing I guess there is certain regulation for the withdrawing things so it will always on loss for us
5897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: May 09, 2015, 05:46:53 PM
Did you earn some bitcoin today? If so, how did you do it? BTC

Earning 140% of my investment from www.CrazyPonzi.com. It is not everyday, it is in every 120 hour. But I am more or less satisfied with this return. It is kind of calculated gambling for me.

Is that true? Because I every ponzi is always run away after they got enough of their money plus when I saw this website it say that this is a gambling game? But still give use $140 return altough some of them got paid

I would strongly suggest NOT to invest a single satoshi unless u properly understand the game. Because, that way u'll only end up accusing it as a scam for no reason. First do understand, your investment here is not secured and that is not because operator will run away with it but because it can expire. That means to say, your investment/bet, whatever you call it, will get 120 hour to be covered. Otherwise, it will expire and add up to the bankroll to pay next investors. Operator takes commission whenever someone gets return and that sums up to an amount more than he'll make from running away with the bankroll. Hence, he never runs away. If u r into gambling, I'd suggest that u check the FAQ first and study the game. Then only decide if the game is for you or not.

Im just tired from this sick game if I know that and I understand it, at last he will still run away with my bitcoin because ponzi always do things like that and so many people already know how its work
5898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2015, 05:00:30 PM
What do you mean by selling produt of bitcoin?

If you have a product then try sell it for bitcoins. Not that difficult to understand. People sell plenty of goods on the marketplace here though there are ebay style markets like cryptothrift where you can sell your items for coins.

But not all people gonna accepted bitcoin. In my country there are still people that wont buy it using bitcoin they prefer take fiat than bitcoin. I try to explain it but still they wont listen it and insist on taking fiat so thats the problem

What are you talking about? People only accept bitcoin on this forum and on cryptothrift, the places I explicitly mentioned. There are plenty of other sites where you can list your things for bitcoin too.

Of course in this forum people will buying with bitcoin but in my country I dont think it will going easy plus I dont think people will have any attraction to my items. I just can try to persuade them to play with bitcoin so everything can be easier
Its hard to explained to other people what they can do to bitcoin or what is bitcoin. They wont as a payment unless they try to use it or they know about bitcoin. How will you do that?  I didnt know.

I dont think it will be that hard to explain, you can start with your family or your closest friend because they are the most you hang out with and they will hear your explaination altough there are so many argue but its ok. You can argue everything with them so they will really understand what are you doing. And the last part I didnt understand at all what are you going to said
5899  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 08, 2015, 04:44:17 PM
No neither its dead nor dying. Bitcoin has a great future and it will grow its value in coming years Once the Government start accepting as a currency it will grow more and that would directly increase its value so i don't think its dying for next 15 to 20 years atleast.

But how are you so sure that government will acppeted our bitcoin is this world? There is so many things that they must do before they are going to aceppt it and I dont think they will do that. There is fiat that government control so I dont think its value will rise with this kind of way

That's the problem we are facing that Government will not accept the bitcoin as currency. It's really difficult to believe that Government will accept it as its an threat for an fiat money and banking system so lets what future is going to offer us is it bitcoin or fiat?

I dont think I get you word. But what I know is we just can wait for the best, may be government will came out with new regulation about bitcoin that profitable to us. Why not we going for it? For noww we just can save or earn as many as bitcoin we have and make it alive not let it dying
5900  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I start Investing USD? (Betterment?) on: May 08, 2015, 04:39:36 PM
How can you say that Bitcoins value would be more then USD in future? Future is uncertain and so Bitcoin is  You cannot be sure that Bitcoins will give you more returns in future. As USD is the strongest currency of all you can guarantee that you will not be at loss in future.

Everything is uncertain. There's no guarantee that Bitcoin will increase in valuation.

There's also zero guarantee that USD will be "the strongest currency of all" in the future.

But, based on my own research it's much more likely that fiat currencies such as the USD will fail within our lifetimes. So in future, if you only held USD you may have the same amount of $$ in your hands, but you will not be able to buy the same amount of goods with it. All fiat is based on empty promises. Believing in government guarantees is dumb. Take a look at history.

(That said, the US economy is not healthy at all. Billions of USD  (with no backing) have been pumped into the system under the QE programs.)

ya.ya.yo!

Ya that's true there is no guarantee that USD will be the strongest currency in future. So its better to invest in diversified products such as Gold, Stocks, Real Estate and Bitcoins even u go from losses in one product you can atleast cover the losses from other products.

If you are talking about fiat money, I guess dollar will be the strongest in the future. But sure there is a risk too if you invest in dollar, but for now I guess bitcoin is still better than dollar because bitcoin is becoming mainstream in future
