5901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 17, 2023, 02:45:55 AM
I think the best thing is to have some patience, I know that Chelsea fans may feel somewhat overwhelmed by everything their team has been going through, but we only know what they want As far as we know, we don't really know anything or the origin of things.

We're been patience because we know Graham Potter doesn't have his full squad available. Some key players are having injuries that's obstructing the teams progress. We can see when Potter had some players fit how the team played and won games after games. Bit though while we're been patience we also need to see some positivity in the team and I must said from the game against Manchester city, I was impressed even though we lost.

That game was played with full confidence from the squad as we attack Manchester city as we would had done to any other team we played. I strongly believe we'll bounce back but until then Graham Potter shoudn't let us lose against smaller boys that we should be winning comfortably so the boys can be in full confidence when playing Dortmund in the champions league.

Yes, it is partly difficult when a technical director does not have his full team, however the situation can be well understood, and as I had said before, sometimes the press is very tabloid, and not only the press, as soon as we get into a social networks and they say that the team has already been relegated and that they cannot recover, that the team is in very bad shape, sometimes the news they put out is quite alarming, when they go to the field of play, they see the games that they still have to play or play He knows that there is a good opportunity, in addition it is known that the team that is 100% with everything is Man City, they are in a much better position than almost everyone in the PL, however Chelsea's effort is recognizable

Brighton looks like an experienced team in the match against liverpool. I wonder how many people will still believe in liverpool after so many bad results happened in EPL? real madrid is far greater compared with liverpool in any thing. Im thinking about the new player didn't evne give good contribution to the liverpool. Gakpo was actually over rated player in my opinion. Gakpo has the same quality like felix that has been going to the chelsea. Both have very bad debut in EPL.
Liverpool's defeat against Brighton is surely shocking with this now feelings and thoughts are changing because if they are not able to have good results against teams like Brighton then surely they can suffer against Real Madrid which is having much better performance and quality in Champions League, and they can give them big defeat as well for having their seat into last eight of the Champions League this season teams.
Now, if they are not going to bring changes then surely here we can expect worst end of this season with no place into top four and early exit from Champions League recently they have Gakpo which was good in world cup and expectations were high, but now it's all showing it's just overrated player even we can expect better in coming days, but they need to turn quickly before it's too late for them.

I have to say that Liverpool are really struggling at the moment. I can see, bringing in Cody Gakpo to the team has not made any noticeable difference to the performance on the pitch. Jurgen Klopp's loss against Brighton was something that was totally unexpected. Due to the fact that they have had a really rough run of form, I have a feeling that they are going to have a very hard time playing against Real Madrid. In spite of the fact that Real Madrid recently lost their final match against Barcelona, overall Real Madrid are in a far better state than Liverpool at this point in time.

Liverpool wants to saar the thorn that what happened to them last season in the UCL, because Real Madrid left them there with no opportunity for anything, this time they can do something, the truth is that anything can happen, Real Madrid suffered a great loss against Barcelona and they lost the Super Cup of Spain, what happens is that for now Real Madrid has to correct some inconsistencies that they have, like giving everything at minute 80, that is something that they should not allow anymore, they cannot inventing to fix everything at the last moment, because it is very difficult to come back when it is more than 2 goals, so I would say that Liverpool have a good chance of being able to do something.

Liverpool monitoring Moises Caicedo

After announcing the signing of forward Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven for £37m before the window even opened, it’s a surprise to see that the Reds have not kicked on, either on the pitch or in the transfer market.

5902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: January 17, 2023, 02:27:27 AM
I left betting on national teams after the World Cup ended but Germany were one of the best playing teams in the World Cup. They just had issues with finishing and said farewell to the tourney in group stage unluckily. I see Germans as favourites of the tourney with their host country advantage as a result.
don't get fooled by the fact that the Euro will be played in Germany, if you think Germany can win it as a team, it's fine you do you, but because they are the host it doesn't mean anything, we saw what happened to Brazil in 2014 world cup, it's rare where a host wins the tournament, who i actually think can win it is England, they have some young talents that can get them the trophy and it's been a long time since they won something.

It seems to me that German national football has been in crisis for a long time. After the 2014 world title in Brazil, they did nothing in the world competitions and were eliminated twice in a row in the group stage of the world championship, which is no coincidence.
Honestly, regardless of the fact that they are the hosts of the next European Championship, I don't see them as favorites for the title.
At the European Championship, I expect the most from the French, England, Spain and Italy.

@Daniel91 Germany’s football used to be so great once upon a time, but now a day’s they play really bad but since it’s in their home country I sincerely hope that they will perform well at least for the sake of their citizens. However I don’t expect them to win it, because I expect France or England to win it because they have really good player’s who can help them win it.

I think that now Germany must make a mix of its best players, the oldest and the youngest, perhaps the youngsters are not afraid of the veterans and that is an advantage, but they do not have experience and in a game you need to have experience to deal with certain things, even with arbitration, so if veterans join the team, and youngsters, the team will have a better integration, it will be more complete as I had said before, let's just look at what Spain did in the World Cup, it took only youngsters And they still got kicked out, veterans are always needed in a team so they can do things better.
5903  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: January 17, 2023, 02:03:03 AM
for me KYC in gambling when needed i think is fine. meaning if a gambler enters on a gambling platform without KYC and after getting a big win he wants to withdraw all his money and is required by KYC to verify if he is not a robot or a criminal being manipulated in gambling.
well, it's really not recommended for KYC on gambling platforms or a gambler also almost doesn't want KYC on gambling platforms because of the risk when stored data will leak. but if you don't do anything during KYC the winnings cannot be withdrawn because each gambling platform has its own policy. i myself will always take risks because life is full of risks. choose to risk victory or not forever.
and i believe the gambling platform mentioned by the OP is a reputable platform that we can rely on for the security of our personal data
Well it's like you say, everything is a risk, in the event that a person plays on a platform where they make profits, if they are required to have a KYC then they must do it, in my case if something like that happens to me in Duelbits I would not hesitate to put all the KYC that I can, however something that would bother me is that my KYC and for unimportant things tell me that I have to do it again, as happens in some Exchanges like Binance that for KYC are quite annoying, sometimes people It is difficult for them to get certain papers, and that is something that can sometimes bother them if they do not approve it, I prefer to do a KYC with video, identification with a name, something like that, that are not so radical.

to be honest, if I were given the choice to choose KYC on an exchange or on a gambling platform like Duelbits, I would prefer KYC on Duelbits. because actually for me bigger hacking vulnerability is on exchange compared to gambling platform.
but I still do KYC on the exchange because I need a bigger limit when I want to withdraw my assets on the exchange.
so like you said i get profit from gambling and i need it, so it's ok if i do KYC on some popular and reputable gambling platform like Duelbits.
without kyc you have opportunity to use decentralized exchanges btw we are using centralized to get no limit, and so many additional features,
i haven’t needed kyc in gambling site because i didn’t deposit big amount here,
i agree with you i have no problem if ask kyc in trusted gamble site.

Yes, in fact, when I enter a new casino and they ask me for KYC, I simply don't provide it, it seems to me that there is no need, I don't know if the casino will be successful in the near future or if it is simply a scam, even here in the forum they have done tricks to defraud players and that is something that we must be very careful about, a new casino is not the same as an old casino in terms of KYC, decentralized exchanges are a great option, although I cannot deny that decentralized casinos have something to do with them distrust, and decentralized exchanges at the time of having a problem, personalized attention is usually a little late on occasions.
5904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 16, 2023, 03:07:14 PM
this victory is clear evidence that they have woken up, now Barcelona are still at the top of the La Liga standings and their performance is getting better, they just need consistency to be able to win the La Liga title.

this is Barcelona's first trophy after being handled by Xavi and this can be a point of their crew to continue to develop.
and seeing the performance of the two best Spanish teams at the moment is very inversely felt by Real Madrid, they seem to have experienced a significant decline in performance lately so this can be a big advantage for Barcelona.

apart from the European competition that Barcelona can still achieve, but I don't have high expectations because the journey is still very long, but for the La Liga title, I think for now the percentage of Barcelona to be able to win it is greater than Real Madrid.

Source Congratulations Barcelona, the first trophy for Xavi this season. I was really disappointed with Real Madrid's performance, they were not even able to control the ball well. They are even very neat in defense. Gavi is also very good, he deserves to be the best player today.
Gavi scored one goal and one assist, he became a star despite being only 18 years old. Xavi was also smart, he directly gave instructions to put pressure on Madrid so that they could not develop the game well, and it was proved. It's going to be even more exciting, for the League champion fight this season.

Firstly, I would like to say that Barcelona was well deserved to win the match and in terms of their defense, Real Madrid were really lacking. I have to say that this is Carlo Ancelotti's third loss in the finals and I must say that this has been a tough loss for him.

It is important to give credit where it is due, because Xavi was really effective with his tactics and I have to say that Gavi in particular played exceptionally well in midfield. There was only one goal scored by Real Madrid in the 93rd minute of the game. During the course of the game, Real Madrid's defense seemed to be all over the place.
Well, Real Madrid here came out with everything they had to do, they came out with their Arsenal, but apparently Xavi managed to decipher Ancelotti's strategy, that requires recognition, and yes, in part that gives a lot of oxygen to a Barcleona that comes. many problems of all kinds, not bad, I couldn't say that Real Madrid lost because they had no luck, they played with everything they had, maybe Ancelotti now has to make changes to his strategy, not be so persuasive, and one of the Things that they must manage is that they do not leave everything for the second half, it seems that all the energy they put into it is at minute 80 onwards, which is when they attack the most and do more, the games sometimes have to be assured from the beginning.

Here Valverder agrees with my opinion:

Quote
Speaking after the match, Valverde explained to MD that Los Blancos were not at full pelt when they started the match.

“Today the team was not good and it showed. In a final you have to go out to give 100% from the beginning and we didn’t do it. We went out to give 80 or 90 and that’s not enough.”

Even more concerning will be the precedent that Valverde’s statement sets. Real Madrid have won just two of their last five La Liga matches and needed penalties to surpass Valencia in the Supercup semi-final. If it really was a lack of effort that led their defeat, it opens the door for effort levels to be questioned in other games too.

Source: https://www.football-espana.net/2023/01/16/fede-valverde-admits-lack-of-real-madrid-in-damaging-defeat-to-barcelona

This is what stood out, without a doubt Ancelotti has to work more on the resistance of his players and make them give everything from the beginning until they give everything at the end of the game, sometimes 3 goals cannot be overcome in 10 minutes, this is a very bad resource that they always resort to, sometimes it has worked, but at this point that is not good, personally I do not think it is correct to leave everything in the hands of giving all the maximum effort to the last, because it does not arrive on time, they will be left short and in reality it is already very bad, it is a reckless strategy, the forwards wear out a lot and on this occasion they did not achieve anything.

5905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 16, 2023, 04:17:35 AM
The organization itself will find ways to connect him to Inoue. Marketing both fighters is no longer hard, as they already have that trash talk connection, just need to add more ideas to bring a huge fire.

The thing here is if the promoter of Inoue would consider a fight with Casimero.  It was Bob Arum's fault that the second chance for both boxer to fight got dissolve.  Remember the 1st fight were canceled due to the pandemic and the second possible fight did not materialize because Bob Arum has a different thing in mind.  The fight Inoue - Moloney should be Inoue - Casimero but then Bob Arum has another plan and agreed with the Inoue - Moloney.

It is indeed easy for these to boxer to meet in the ring but their promoter made it difficult.

Bob Arum is more on the money side, if there are many readers who can be converted to a possible viewer/ticket sales, maybe Arum will consider this possibility, for now, he still leaning with his cash cow Inoue and he needs to maximize all the profits that he can earned from his champ, still have a chance for Casimero but like what I said above he need to make his way to bring his name up inside the division and force the fans to bring him to an option for Inoue's fight.

I think it's more on Inoue's fault why he didn't get the chance to fight Inoue. All he had to do is make weight and win the fight against Butler. Now, it's getter harder for him to call out Inoue because he has no belt and not even recognized top 5 in any of the body in his new weight class.

So forget about Casimero for now, the focus of Arum is Inoue against the champion in 122 lbs like Fulton and Murodjon Akhmadaliev. That is where the money is right now, not Casimero to be honest.

Yes, it's Casimero's fault why he didn't get that chance. I know it's just a typo from your statement, but it's really a missed opportunity to defend his title and take that fight against Butler. A mandatory fight that might bring them both in the situation where he and Inoue will not have any chance aside from climbing to another division if ever both of them still holding the belts.

We might have another chance if, in case that fate really brings them inside the ring, both Casimero will be in 122lbs a great chance to see them if they will continue fighting and winning their ways for the title belts.
In view of all these speculations, I would just like to see Inoue in action, I don't care who he is with, be it Canelo, Bivol with whomever, but I want to see the debut of a new weight and category for Inoue, because this The boxer has proven to be a genius in every sense of the word, I don't know if these things cause cirity in others but in my personal opinion I want to see this boxer in a scenario where he does not dominate and is proactically new in every way. What I want is to see this boxer in action, and I think he himself wants it too and the eyes of the world are expectantly waiting.

5906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 03:08:36 AM
The media did their best to kick Ronaldo out of Manchester United. The coach of the Portuguese national team did the same, keeping him in reserve. I don't even know the man's name. The name of the coach who will leave Ronaldo in reserve should be deleted from football history. Now there are critics for transferring to the Saudi League. He got rid of the unnecessary words of the media and earned a very good income. What could be more beautiful? He has already performed at a high level until this year and has broken unbreakable records. I don't think Ronaldo has been given the respect he deserves. I think it is wrong to ignore what Ronaldo has done for football by giving examples from his flamboyant life. Let's see what the answer will be when Messi is offered the same level. In my opinion, Messi should earn big income from football in his last years like Ronaldo.

Both the media and the ManU fans played their part. When Ronaldo was playing for them, they were constantly complaining about his performance. Jose Mourinho treated Ronaldo better when comapred to the treatment Ronaldo got at the hands of Fernando Santos, but that alone was not enough to retain him in ManU. And the joke is that once he announced his decision to quit ManU, all those fans who were complaining about him previously went up in arms and accused him of being greedy. This is a classical example of sour grapes, I would say.
That's what happened today. they are Man United fans. so anything related to the club they will definitely follow and even comment on it.
On the other side, Ronaldo fans, don't care what club they will defend. most importantly they watched their idols play in the field. not on the bench.
we've seen enough of this drama unfold. and I think it's enough to end. Ronaldo started his new career with a Club that was able to pay him well. that was enough, and just let him do his thing. The media doesn't need to get too excited about reports that they make carelessly.
This is an unstoppable discussion Ronaldos entry in Al Nassr and ending his career on Europe , but realistically Arabs have given him so much respect and so much honour which he is enjoying for sure . Let's hope he plays amazing football their and be fruitful for his league.

The thing about CR7 is undoubtedly one of the best things that have happened to him and his career, many say that it will be the end of his career, but I personally do not see it that way, I see this as an infallible opportunity for CR7 In the same way, if MESSI decides to go to an Arab team, this will become much more interesting, I think that now we see things from another point of view, will this Saudi league eventually have the audience of the PL? LA LIGA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, now we could see that a League that was not taken into account could be something superior, if these players go there instead of the USA, they will give it all the excitement that everyone needs.

Cristiano Ronaldo will face Lionel Messi when he FINALLY plays in Saudi... A 'golden ticket' costs £2.2MILLION for what could be the G.O.A.T. rivals' final showdown - unless Argentine superstar cashes in with a £245m-a-year deal in the desert

Quote
The Saudi Pro League burst into the wider football world's conscience last month when Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr after signing an eye-watering deal worth £175m-a-year.

Having previously been seen as just a minor league in the Middle East - since signing one of the sport's greatest-ever players - other stars such as Luka Modric, Marco Reus and Sergio Busquets have been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia as they wind down their illustrious careers.

I have a question and came to my mind, could financial education can be a relevant factor for people not to lose a lot of money in gambling, casinos and other games?

Taking this one, financial education will direct you to stay away from gambling. Just my opinion since financial education will lead you to focus with how you can gain money and avoid you to overspend in things that's not necessary, though we do have our own take and having good education on how to value your assets will save you to any financial losses.

Seems that it will depend on how you can really control and how good you are in limiting your budget if in case you are into these activities.

It is very true, as long as we have a high financial education we can have a better way of playing in a casino, because we know well the value of money, we will not bet it just to bet, we know that the associated risk is greater than the probability of winning , and that you will only have a total amount of money to lose, but it is money that a financial culture will make you think is exclusively for your fun, like spending it on a weekend at the beach or something like that, if you see it that way I think that the player will be willing enough to be willing to lose money, but always thinking about what this money could possibly have to multiply, I think that's the trick of everything.
5908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: January 16, 2023, 12:29:04 AM
Most of the successful boxers starts boxing when they are still young, like Mayweather. 2-3 years? I think he still has more years, in fact, he is still dominating now, he only lose when he attempt to move up and challenge a champion, but in his division where he was an undisputed fighter, he is still the king.
Yeah Canelo has a biggest reputation and popularity in this generation boxing career, he is very phenomenal compare to the other undisputed champion, I think it's because many people and boxing fans are really attracted to watch how Canelo's head movement, it's very satisfying how he can predict his opponent's punch

Anyway what's going on with this fight? there's no news about the official announcement and no improvement yet.
Well, this makes me curious because since Canelo made his announcement that he wanted to fight Inoue, and he did it in a way that is not the most correct, because the most ethical way is to wait for his previous fight to end to say something like that, because obviously He implied that he was going to win the previous fight, so the way he did it was not widely seen, but what can we expect? Canelo is like that, nothing can be evaded, if we start to see a possible fight between the two it would be interesting, but what will happen when Inoue beats Canelo well? because that can happen, how would he react? Does he want to ask for a revenge? just as he is doing with Bivol!?

Dmitry Bivol: 2022 was a good year for me but my dream is to be the undisputed champ

Quote
WBA light heavyweight titleholder Dmitry Bivol solidified his outstanding 2022 by dominating previously unbeaten Gilberto Ramirez over 12 rounds in November. That title defense came after a similar performance shocked then pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez in May. Both wins helped earn Bivol The Ring’s 2022 Fighter of The Year award.

Bivol, The Ring’s No. 1-rated light heavyweight and No. 6 in the pound for pound rankings, was happy with how things went against Ramirez in Abu Dhabi.

Manchester United form in the Europa league  have been at top level,  they have only lost one and won 5 games. The playoff fixture against Barcelona will be test of their consistency level because it looks like they are finally finding the balance under Ten Hag's management. Manchester United perform better against top teams and Barcelona will be no different from others but it is a 50/50 game and anyone could win.
United has been starting to be even more mature. The new united under ten hag has become a new form of united which has been fulfilled by so many young talented players. it can be considered as the most difficult match for MU. Barcelona has a very good result in h2h against MU. this is the time for MU to break such rumour if MU was an easy opponent for barcelona. this gonna be death battle for both. I think that i will pick MU in this case seeing from the impressive performance in EPL.
MU is also having good performance during the group qualified in europa league too. MU is so underrated at this moment.
I think Manchester United are experiencing the Ten Hag effect, I will clearly agree that Erik Ten Hag has impacted positively to the team with his disciplinary measures, his tactics and style of play is now proving productive which we can obviously see on the team's outstanding performance lately, the most surprising part of it for me is how well he has transformed Marcus Rashford to be more lethal in front of goal.

I have seen many positive comments about Ten Hag, unlike many, I still disagree, because in my personal opinion a team cannot get along while a technical director is very arrogant and believes that he is even above himself clyub, that's something I still can't understand, the Europa League is a way to measure who is stronger, and who has more mental and physical strength in the competition, because this competition allows us to see which team is going to perform much better in the UCL , and he knows very well everything that it contains in his way of seeing it, for i these things have to be treated with great measure, that's why even so, Man United have had good games, I don't think they are still at the level.

Paul Scholes makes Marcus Rashford admission after Cristiano Ronaldo Man Utd exit

Quote
Paul Scholes believes Marcus Rashford has taken on the onus of being the match-winner for Manchester United since Cristiano Ronaldo's exit.

The attacker is the club's top scorer, having netted 15 times ahead of United's lunchtime clash with Manchester City. Rashford's double against Charlton in the League Cup on Tuesday meant he became the first player to score in eight consecutive Old Trafford matches since Wayne Rooney in 2010.

It meant he scored in all seven matches after the World Cup and since Ronaldo's exit. The superstar had his United contract mutually terminated during the tournament after his infamous interview with Piers Morgan.

Real Sociedad vs Bilbao and i just realized that recent performance from these teams were not so different but Sociedad has 3 winning streak which makes them slightly better than Bilbao but apparently Bilbao still cannot able reach to their best performance even in the last 2 matches Bilbao was failed to scoring goals and home team had ambition to gets their 4th win from Bilbao moreover they also want to ended their poor records from their opponent because from head to head statistics showed Sociedad was failed to wins from Bilbao from their 4 latest meetings and the current odds for Sociedad is @2.49 this makes me tempting to bet for them and i know this option is very risky but i would like to try it
Sometimes head to head results cannot be a reference for a match. But if Real Sociedad manages to win 3 matches in a row, it looks like this will be their 4th victory. On the other hand Bilbao is not too bad this season they are in 7th place in the standings. In my opinion, your bet is quite risky, but I'm sure you will get the result of this bet.
These teams are very good, Real Sociedad has taken a good turn in football and it is normal, they are always measuring themselves against the best teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, they are teams that dominate a league, the only way they can measuring themselves well and being strong means that they beat them, and if this is possible, you just have to look at other leagues, for example the LIGUE1, what Lens did was legendary, they beat the best team that maintains hegemony in that league like PSG, these teams can give the best of all surprises, and also if they beat these teams they would be taken into account as one of the strongest, I know they can do it.

In another order of ideas:

Quote
When remarks about Lionel Messi made by Barcelona directors were leaked this week, many people were outraged at the blatant disrespect shown towards one of the club’s greatest ever players.

Barca’s former Legal Chief Roman Gomez Ponti referred to the World Cup winning captain as a “sewer rat” and “hormonal dwarf” when communicating with then-president Josep Maria Bartomeu, which were met with vehement anger by fans and personnel alike.

One of those who has criticised the comments is the club’s vice president Rafael Yuste, who was at the club when these events happened. He highlighted the blatant disrespect shown towards one of the club’s greatest, as per Marca.

“They represent a huge lack of respect for people like Messi who have given so much for the club, and a lack of respect for the club.

“I totally reject these words, which indicate that the people who were previously in charge of the team did not love the squad as they should have done.”

Al Hilal team are thinking of a move for Lionel Messi to counter their rival Al-Nassr after they signed Ronaldo on a record deal. However I don't think Messi would think of leaving Europe now.

Because the situation is not the same for Messi. He is already a PSG player and his performance level is very high. He is fighting for the Champions League title with his team for now. He is expected to extend his contract with PSG one more season also. Al Hilal are also ready to spend insane amount of money on Messi transfer. They are speculated to offer $300m a year to Messi. This is definitely huge but just as I said I don't think this is the time Messi is leaving PSG.

This news was not convincing to me. Messi is still very good. He is the star of Paris Saint-Germain FC. I think this news is like the viral of Al-Hilal football team. Of course they have the money to transfer Messi. But Messi will not go to the Saudi Arabian Pro League. We all know this very well. Because he still has credits in the European leagues. He is not like Ronaldo. Maybe two years later he will go to the Saudi Arabian Pro League to earn money. But there is no reason for him to go there today.

I think Messi will return to Barcelona at the end of the season and leave football there. He will not go to Asia or America.
These two star players have different conditions, in which Ronaldo left Europe to go to the Arab League (Al-Nassr) because so far no one has signed him in Europe, but star players like Lionel Messi are still very much in demand among Europe, Lionel Messi is one of PSG team candidate who has a high performance game, after winning the world cup match yesterday we are not sure that Messi will move to the Arab League.

Maybe the media crew made the news that Messi would go to Al-Hilal, and I think this is just news Rumors made up by the media crew.

Well yes, they are just rumors, but if this happens, the contract would be a super millionaire, it is something that can be seen above CR7's salary and that would be a bombshell because if they have Messi and CR7 again in the same league, I think that most of the world will go to follow them, and it is true with so many fans that Messi has, they will not hesitate to catch up on this Saudi league, and I think that if they achieve something like that, football will take a great turn. Can you imagine all of us watching the matches of that league? It would be something exceptional, it would be a very fall in love development of football, and I like this, because good football technique expands and we saw something like this in the World Cup with Saudi Arabia.

Exclusive: Fabrizio Romano confirms Lionel Messi’s ‘verbal pact’ amid Al Hilal links

Quote
Lionel Messi’s future is set to remain intertwined with PSG’s, as has been revealed in an exclusive update from Fabrizio Romano.

The Argentine had been linked with a switch to Al Hilal – potentially joining rival Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia – with the Daily Mail going as far to report that the club is prepared to offer the midfielder a deal amounting to $350m per year.

“I’ve been saying the same since December: PSG and Lionel Messi have a verbal pact to continue together,” the reporter said.

“Both parties are just waiting to meet (it could take weeks or months) to discuss the length of any potential new contract, salary and more details but they want to continue together.

“So I expect Messi to stay at PSG; I’m not aware of any other negotiations taking place.”

^^  I don't know, but Paulie M. is already retired long time ago I not sure if we can value what he had said, he had a good career, no doubt, but he was not great to be honest, pillow fisted fighter, all he do is bark and with no bite, and when Cotto broke his jaw, it was over for him as his career didn't go up after that huge beating he got.

Anyway back on topic, Ryan says that he knows what Tank is doing, playing mind games already specially with what he says about his PED accusations. So he is ready by any attack from Tank's camp and on the other hand, he can throw his trash talk as well which he has been doing for the last couple of years. So I guess the feeling is mutual about this two with their accusations and verbal abuse.

Well, we cannot deny that Tank is a boxer who is like from the old school, he knows many things, he knows how to face the psychological factor, and of course he takes advantage of the networks to do what some friends say here is a "Psycho-terror" "It is something that is used a lot to cause fear to the rival, that is why Garcia says those things, because he knows very well what he is doing, however these boxers are as they say here: they are "old foxes" you know very well Well, they always look for a way to make an entire show by letting people know many things that only they handle in the ring, and in this there is of course an associated "pique", something that we all know.

Ryan Garcia dismisses Gervonta 'Tank' Davis mind games - 'I see all the tricks'

Quote

The American duo are set to fight this April.

Ryan Garcia is confident he will defeat Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis if they do meet in April and dismissed recent criticism as mind games.

Tank beat Hector Luis Garcia with an impressive display last weekend, with his Mexican opponent having to retire on his stool after losing vision, such was the strength of his unbeaten American opponent.

He had taken the fight to stay sharp ahead of a clash with Ryan Garcia, with the pair both seemingly expecting to meet on April 15.

I always visit the casino when I really want to spend a different time (physical casinos) because the music, the food, all this makes me think that it is like something very different from what I always experience, it is something normal, it is like when One goes to the f'tbl stadium to watch a match, I just concentrate on that activity without being disconnected from the daily things that we always experience, I think that's the beauty of the Casino when they are physical, you see other people, you enjoy a lot , I see when many win, others have great losses, I see how they played, what possible mistakes they made, all these things are to be taken into consideration.
5914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 15, 2023, 03:27:02 AM
It depends from which side are you looking at the World Cup 2022. If you watched it on a TV from your home, everything was great and most of the games were interesting. However I'm sure that fans that were stopped in the airport because they didn't get their visa on time. There was a situation where two guys payed almost $3000 for a game and airplane ticket to go to one game. One guy got his visa and the other guy didn't get it in time. The guy without a visa got stopped from entering a plane in Frankfurt, Germany and his friend didn't want to go alone. In the end not only have they lost $3000, they had to buy another plane ticket to get home from Frankfurt.

And then there were those discriminate situations where something that is normal in "our" world was forbidden in Qatar, but I won't go into that.

Visa issues during 2026 edition will be much worse than what they had in 2022. Qatar at least issues tourist visa without much delay, unless you are from the pariah states such as North Korea or Cuba. Getting a tourist visa for the United States is next to impossible for most of those who are residing in the third world nations. I am not sure whether they will make some exemptions for the 2026 World Cup, but we are going to witness a lot of ugly scenes at the airport.

Perhaps football fans need to wait until 2030, if they don't want to waste their hard earned money. But we don't know about hosts for the 2030 edition yet. Right now there are at least a dozen bids, including those from Morocco, combined Uruguay–Argentina–Chile–Paraguay, combined Spain–Portugal–Ukraine, and the joint bid from United Kingdom-Ireland. Voting will be held sometime in 2024.

If this tournament is organized for football, everything should be done for football fans. What makes football football is the enthusiastic fans. For this reason, it is necessary to provide convenience in visa. If the necessary convenience is not provided, big problems will arise. That is why the United States should start working on the issue already.
This is going to be an issue this time because USA,  Canada and Mexico will not loosen their visa policies and that is going to be a big issue for them if too much people will come and reside their later on illegally which happens commonly in Europe.  Tourist visa will not ho in their favour so let's see how they'll plan this as majority of football fans will apply for that in 2026.
I have thought of many ways that there are no problems due to the visa problem, and this can be made a superior policy, that is, that there is a way that those who have to attend the country is that they give it some provisions, at least what Let the World Cup last 15 more days, this to give the person a chance to visit the countries, this to do tourism, make the economy move, and give a good show to this, I think that is the best way basic and easy to solve, but from now to 2026 we do not know which governments will be in the countries, if on the contrary instead of making immigration policies more flexible or on the contrary if a Trump wins then the measures will be much worse, tarnishing a show.

Indeed, it's a different thing for different people. For me personally it's around the amount of money I can earn in one day. Yes, it is still painful, losing the money you were working for for the whole day, but it's acceptable, it's not the end of the world, you know.

But that's about the money I can afford to lose without bad consequences. Talking about the money that I can easily afford to lose, than it's about a quarter of what I make per day, and that's what I would bet on the single die roll, you are asking in the OP.

That's a sensible approach that can work for you but is not universal. Obviously, for someone with a low income and a tight budget, who struggles to pay the bills (aka half of the UK right now after massive electricity rates hikes lol), a daily pay (or even just 25% of it) is probably too much.

Personally, for the sake of regular gambling, I'd define the "amount I can afford to lose" as excess (or leftover) money at the end of the month, after paying all bills and usual living expenses and also after making a regular contributions to saving/investment accounts.

But that definition and my risk tolerance would change for things like say investment opportunities with lower risk and positive expected returns. In such case I'd be potentially willing to risk any amount that won't cause a massive disruption to my life.
What happens is that when you think you have extra money that you can lose, it's not really like that, because few people in the world have that ability to spare money, that is, most people have tight budgets for their expenses, that is to say, if they have to pay bills, taxes, some rents, other rents, it is very difficult to leave a money totally willing to lose, because they know that a salary for most people is never enough, unlike players who are Considered whales, these things can translate into expenses that don't affect them, it's just like buying sweets for us means playing in a casino.

Lens will fight against another team who in the relegation zone Auxerre and actually Auxerre statistics was more worst than Strasbourg so this is should be easy match for Lens and currently Auxerre has conceded 40 goals which makes them as the team with the worst defense in France league and i think it's not so hard to scoring at least 2 goals or more if Lens can performing well today especially Lens has Lois Openda who on fire with 9 goals during this season but i wish Lens will be more pay attention to their defense because lately their defense were quite poor and 2 goals from Strasbourg proven Lens have to improved their defensive lines however i think Lens win still the best option for this match
Lens clearly excelled in the match against Auxerre, but sometimes Lens has a pretty bad record against weak teams. Lens must be able to give their best performance so that every opportunity they have can result in a goal and Auxerre I don't know for sure when they will get another victory when what they face in the match will be the team in 2nd place in the standings. I hope it will be an easy game for Lens to continue to keep PSG at the top of the standings.

Well, it's a shame that a team like Lens is in these instances, especially after beating a PSG that took it as it was, I think they won't go down any further, they have a mental commitment to themselves and their fans, I don't I think they are going to be disappointed, this is where a battle for the teams is quite strong, I would not like to be in their place, because every move they make in the game may require being out of Ligue 1, and the truth is not it's that fair of course Nothing is fair in football, only those who manage to score the goals are determined to win, that's how it works, and Lens have earned a lot of respect from others.

Franck Haise confirms Adrien Thomasson set to feature against Auxerre for Lens

Quote
Speaking to L’Équipe, Lens general manager Franck Haise has confirmed that new signing Adrien Thomasson should be set to be involved in the Sang & Or’s clash against Auxerre, being eligible to be  picked by the boss for the Ligue 1 fixture. “He should be eligible to play,” said Haise, “He’s already played a lot this season with Strasbourg so he is in good shape”.

Thomasson, who was recently acquired by RC Lens for €3.9m from Strasbourg, should be expecting a debut with his new team in the match against Auxerre on Saturday at 5pm. Despite only participating in a few collective training sessions, Haise says that Thomasson is familiar with the game plan and is ready to contribute to the team.

Mbappe is still very young, and he has the potential to get even better before the peak of his career is overshadowed by his advancing age. He is only 24 years old and at least he has 10 years left to achieve anything in his career.

I envision him surpassing that age at the peak of his career. I don't normally rate the guy as highly as other great young players since I don’t watch him play most times, but after his outstanding performance in the World Cup finals, I believe he has the potential to become the next world best like Messi and Ronaldo. The guy is fit and physically in form now, every team will love to have him play for them.

His great potentials and good game play can only be accolades with trophies though, if he doesn’t win much in his current club, changing to a new club to win trophies will be better for him. We’re tired of the Messi-Ronaldo era of football, let the upcoming young ones take up the challenge now.
He needs a league that is even more challenging, and the Premier League or La Liga are good options for him, apart from that it can improve his mentality as a player, the competitiveness of the league will help him find more experience that will be useful in the future. His being at Paris Saint Germain I don't think is very good for his development, because in Ligue 1 the competition is not so visible, and when it's easy for him to score goals there it doesn't become extraordinary for me. He must be able to get out of the comfort zone that Paris Saint Germain has given him.

Regarding Mbappé, it is something that has a lot of discussion, yes, he is young, but he has to start working now for his own professional good, the way in which he has made decisions, has become known through his actions in the PSG is not a very good thing, yes, in 10 years they could have achieved all their stardom, but be careful, they have a Haaland who makes a lot of noise, has a very rude playing style and they are praising him too much, I would be really careful I see Mbappé a bit far from getting the ballon d'or, I think everything will start to be decided at the moment if PSG and City go further in the UCL, I think everything will start from there.

Messi, Mbappe make FIFA’s Best Award nominees

Messi, who has won the prize once before, captained Argentina to victory in Qatar, a career-defining triumph that has boosted his chances of winning an eighth Ballon d´Or but may also make him favourite for this prize.

As well as Mbappe, who netted a hat-trick in the World Cup final, another two Paris Saint-Germain players are nominated in Neymar and Achraf Hakimi.

Cheesy Does anyone think Napoli can win big over Juventus like 5-1? Lol, I'm sure no one thought Napoli could win big like that, even if you are a Napoli fan, maybe you just think Napoli will win by a narrow score. To be honest I laughed at the end result like this, how can it be Juventus who are doing well in their defense, but in reality the Juventus defense is not working well for Napoli.
As usual Napoli won in every way in this match just like when Napoli played against Inter, what was different was the final result which was of course very, very surprising I guess.
I don't think anyone expected such a debacle. Napoli simply declassified Juventus, as if they were playing teams from different leagues. Most of all, Juventus was struck by the lack of ideas, the team played as if they had no plan, they just went out and then as luck would have it. Although Juventus had won 8 games in a row before this match, the result on the scoreboard is doubly surprising. Yes, Juventus have some key players Bonucci and Guardado injured, but overall the squad is competent, so they should not have lost.
And Khvicha showed himself well (1+2) in this match, if he continues to play like this, then a very good future awaits him.
I really liked this game, Dimaría's performance was faultless, he showed that he is the world champion, but since I like to say that Napoli is more of a leader than ever, he beat a titan and in what way, because a 5-1 It is not something that can be forgotten like anything else, it is something that is very representative. I know that many were saying that they were going to win because they wanted to shorten everything that has to do with the score, but this win was not expected by anyone, I think that Not even the Napoli players themselves, I like that, because they are finally thinking big and maintaining that leadership, I really like it.

I think the first three teams of top 4 are going to be Bayern Munich, Freiburg and Leipzig at the end of the season. Because they have had a really reliable form for a long time and it looks like they won't give up on their Champions League tickets that easy. I should even exclude Bayern Munich from those two because they are already far stronger from them and will make it to the league title as usual.

When it comes to the fourth member of top 4 I hope Dortmund make it there. Because they haven't been much good for weeks. This break should help them pull themselves together and fight harder.
I expected to see the name Dortmund in the starting three and it is not which is really disappointing. Talking about in form teams in the Bundesliga and Dortmund is not mentioned doesn't look good in any way. I wonder what the priorities of the club management are, because for a big team like Dortmund this level of performance is not acceptable and should be looked into. I also hope they will be able to make top four at the end of the season.
The main priority for the club was to get money. Trophy was not the main priority from the club. Dortmund is focusing in the football business. You shall not be disappointed with the performance from dortmund caused by so many dortmund stars have been moving to the new clubs. As compensation and dortmund got so much money. That's the main aim from the dortmund's management, Dortmund is very well known as a team that was always developing and then selling the players.
That's pretty much the same like old arsenal under arsene wenger. Arsenal was also developing the players to be sold to the another team. That's the main reason why the performance from dortmund decreased a lot.

Well, what really seems to me and what I praise is that Bayern once again is going to show that they are the elite, that there is no group surprise, at one point the team was going through a critical moment, and well, the Union Berlin took the lead and was well above the other teams, but this was affected because obviously the team has a lot to respond to, Bayern didn't hesitate to start their rise, and boy did they come back very successfully and were able to give Good news for your team and your fans, this can be said yes, you have to admit that they are superior, and a team that surprises me is Leipzig, good for them.

Bayern Munich defender Daley Blind gets trial by fire against up-tempo Red Bull Salzburg

Quote
Bayern Munich’s 4-4 draw with Red Bull Salzburg was a wild, rollicking ride that neither team could ever really feel comfortable in.

For new Bayern Munich defender Daley Blind, it was an “out of the frying pan and into the fire” scenario as he had to try and settle in with a new team while being under constant bombardment from the Red Bull Salzburg attack.

“It’s still a bit difficult to say where I currently stand. The training camp definitely helped me. I was able to get to know my colleagues. I feel fit and ready for the tasks to come,” Blind said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “FC Bayern is a very good club with a tradition that speaks for itself and I’m proud to be here.”

... In such a case betting more than you can easily afford to lose is not a wise move.

Betting 100% of all you CAN afford to lose is probably not a wise move, given the 83% chance of a loss. I mean depending on how you define the amount you can afford to lose, I guess. Could mean a different thing to different people.

Indeed, it's a different thing for different people. For me personally it's around the amount of money I can earn in one day. Yes, it is still painful, losing the money you were working for for the whole day, but it's acceptable, it's not the end of the world, you know.

Well, this is something that a decision can be made depending on the type of player and what his personality is like, if the player is very risky and ends his mission because he doesn't care about money, just because he gets carried away by the adrenaline of the moment, That is something that you cannot afford, firstly because it is a lack of responsibility. When you spend your money, how can you recover? You have to do things that you did not have before in your time because the money must be recovered so that your life does not change from one moment to the next and stability is affected, so it is better to control each time you go to play your money, and that you know that the money you are risking may be lost.
