Same here. I normally make bet only for international tournaments, especially those organized by FIFA or UEFA. The next FIFA world cup will be on 2026, and we need to wait for another 1.5 years for the next Euro Cup. The AFC Asian Cup is scheduled to start on 16th June this year in China. But I am not sure whether it will go ahead because of COVID concerns. Euro 2024 will kickstart on 14th June 2024. There will be a total of 24 participants, similar to the previous edition. Maybe they can expand the number of participants from 2028 onwards, given the expansion being planned for 2026 FIFA world cup.

Germany is one of the top teams consisting of a large number of experienced players, and they are comfortable paying anywhere around the world. The only advantage that Germany will have in this UEFA Euro 2024 will be their fans because the tournament will be hosted in their country. But I don't think there will be any advantage for German football because it is already at high level. German Bundesliga belongs to the best five European football leagues. Besides, Germany already hosted FIFA World Cup in 2006 so they have experience in hosting tournaments like this.

It doesn't change anything if Belgium has new head coach because I believe he will pick a similar players just like in World Cup which is an old players that doesn't playing good anymore except Kevin De Bruyne. I don't think that contributed to Germanys problem. Kross was in the 2018 world cup and they were eliminated in the group stages too. Germany played really well in their 3 games. I'd say they were just unlucky. They only messed up and didn't win Japan. They played well against Spain but only got a draw. They also played well against Costa Rica and won.
In fact, the Germany of the 2022 world cup without Toni Kross was better than the Germany of the 2018 world cup with Toni Kross. MUsiala was outstanding. Not having a natural world class top striker was also a problem for Germany.

I'm even tempted to say they would have been a problem for every other team if they made it out of the group stages. The world cup is a tournament that any single mistake can knock you out of the tournament. Germany, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Brazil all learnt that the hard way

I also think that Germans have lost their "German" touch in these last competitions where they were knocked out early in the group stages in both events,for me the 2018 was a huge disappointment as they came directly as World Champions there while in 2022 it did not give me that much of an impression that they were eliminated,mostly because many other well known teams were eliminated early.

I think that they need a true revolution in their team for the 2024 in order to be favorites although I think in front of their fans they will behave much differently and maybe they will be one of the top contenders for the title.
