5901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if someone send faucet to real address on: October 01, 2019, 03:10:26 AM
Everything is written on the blockchain, so obviously you can see it there.

It will behave like a regular transaction and there's nothing to worry about. (I'm assuming OP is somewhat confuse or some concern).

As someone has posted a block explorer for litecoin already, you can just go in there put your litecoin address and see it for yourself.
5902  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Developments Can Put Bitcoin Upwards Again? on: September 30, 2019, 07:47:26 PM
Still boils down to the block halving. For now that is the only catalyst that I see that will really push the price. We don't need to inspire people to buy bitcoin. Sooner or later they will find how bitcoin is, the much touted and best speculative asset that we have right now.

Maybe we can look at LN though, if it can be adopted very quick then it could contribute to the price increase. However, it is still very slow process and it may take some time.
5903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: September 30, 2019, 07:27:28 PM
After winning against shawn . Errol Spence Jr. said "i want Manny Pacquiao " on the interview . Are you guys still confident to put money on errol spence line?
For me in my own opinion its a big NO! Even this is not the right time to make a predictions.  And perhaps no need at all ?Lol . Imagine that kid want to box the living legend Pacquiao?  Oh my gosh it would be a next margarito vs Pacquiao for sure!  Lol just saying because i am now not empress on his skill after fighting shawn.  wherein they are totally the same what i mean no thrill like hide and seek behind their ears?   Ops sorry errol spence fans because Pacquiao speed and power is very amazing and there's no way Errol Spence  can place hes  head under Pacquiao shoulders.  Lol And it's like old man throwing a kid out on the ring. No offense guysl!  Peace!

Until they talk, agreed and sign a contract, only then we can be sure that this fight will push thru, but so many things might happen alone, like Pacquiao decide to retire, because he couldn't get Mayweather to fight him in a mega fight, ot Mayweather decides to get out of retirement and decide that he wants that rematch Manny has been asking.

Manny Pacquiao has hinted that he is willing to fight again whoever they put in front of him. So definitely if Spence and Pacquiao sit down and talk then we can see a explosive fight next year. Manny is moving with his career with or without Floyd.

Floyd is enjoying his life, he doesn't want any piece of Manny today.
5904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHBTC: Bullish Ascending Triangle Forming On Daily on: September 29, 2019, 11:36:54 PM
This is really nice analysis, congratulations. I think we will see $ 210 in USD terms soon. But there is something more important than the rise of the ethereum, What will be the effect of the rise of ethereum on other altcoins? When eth and xrp on the rise last week, vitality had come to altcoins. In other words, as the ethereum rises, this upward movement may spread to the general market. In fact in the short term it's not bad idea to buy some eth and altcoins. This is not an investment advice.

Of course It could have positive effects on the alt market, because ETH is the number 1 altcoin today. So if investors seeing a positive changes in the price and going bullish, we might see some semblance of a rally that will have domino effect on other top alts.

Take notice though that I said top alts, because shitcoins will remain shitcoins and will be just used for pump-and-dump purposes.
5905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: September 29, 2019, 11:12:33 PM
Why is everyone asking for Pacquiao's match whenever they beat somebody? Is it because of the paycheck, the fame they will get? I wish Pacquiao will retire and give the stage to younger boxers but it seems that he still wants to fight. Sadly! I hope he will not hang up the gloves beaten and lost. Our body can only take so much. He already gave a stunning boxing record. I think that's more than enough.

It's pretty obvious mate, they want to beat a living legend and the paycheck and fame is there.

Definitely, Paquiao will retire but he can still duke it out with the best of them that's why he is not slowing down anytime soon. We can't really say what's on Manny's mind and body, it's really up to him when he wanted to retire and hang up his gloves.

As for Spence vs Pacquiao, I think that Pacquiao can give Spence a good fight, Porter made it really hard for Spence, what more if that is Pacquiao putting pressure on him?
5906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are are your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year on: September 29, 2019, 11:51:33 AM
Who is your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year, my bet is the biggest upset of the year Joshua Ruiz 1 but we'll be waiting for what's going to happen in their second match, it might bring a much bigger surprise for us, but so far for me  Joshua Ruiz 1.

The fight of the year was clearly Tyson vs Wilder, by a long shot actually. The way Tyson came back from the dead, pretty literally, and ended up dominating that 12th round was out of a Rocky movie, it was insanity to watch it live.

Right, I think I'll go with this fight as well. Wilder was celebrating, he thought that he good Fury and the referee was about to call Tyson out but suddenly he rose from the dead, punished Wilder and finished strong and it was insane.

And now that Porter and Spence just concluded their fight, I think it could also be a good candidate, UD win by Spence by Porter was banging him the whole 12 rounds was entertaining, wild and exciting bout.

5907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 29, 2019, 11:21:04 AM
Patrick is very dominant in his defensive role and frustrates forwards with giving them no space to make a run at the bucket.
We know that, he is a real definition of a defensive play who always makes some hustle play in the floor, you need to have a high patience when you are guarded by him because if you will get easily frustrated, that's his victory.

With the addition of Kawhi and PG13 Clippers is going to be a great contender for sure. Also excited to see Zion play for Pelicans next season.

They will carry this team to a higher level and if they will win in the west I'm sure they will not have a hard time winning the championship.

Their tough journey is in the West, they need to beat the Lakers and the Warriors as their first priority.

I'm excited to watch zion but i'm expecting too much from this kid unless he actually gets to play with the big guys. We've seen several hyped up top picks end up as busts. These busts have very good and promising college credentials but ended up not fairing well at all becuse of either injuries or they're simply just hyped up.

Me too, I wanted to see his body going up against tough defenders and looking forward for his highlight reel dunks, Lol. Bust do really happened in every sports to be fair though, we would have thought that Brady will be considered as GOAT, when he is pick 199 overall?

Let's hope that there will be no injuries in his young career, he is too athletic and a injury will derail his NBA career.
5908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 29, 2019, 11:01:40 AM
What would a victory for Errol Spence imply for his next fight? Would it be versus Terrence Crawford? I reckon there is no fight that would be more exciting other than that except Pacman versus Money Floyd or Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder.

I doubt that, reason being is boxing politics (very sad), Spence is calling Pacquiao even after accepting the Porter fight so for sure that will be their number one priority. Otherwise, it will be on the same stable of fighters or PBC.

We wanted to see a Crawford match, but since Bud is on the Arum's stable of fighters, I doubt that they can negotiate and see who is the best in 147 lbs division.

It would be a better career decision for Errol Spence, however. There will be more money and Pacman might be the easier fighter for him than Terrence Crawford which might also pay him less hehe.

Exactly, little risk big reward for Errol Spence if Pacquaio will be his next fight.

I like the fight with Porter though, we really see how Spence can adjust with anyone at this division. But if ever Pacquiao will be his opponent, I don't think that someone can really adjust to Pacquiao style. Only Floyd and Marquez (after fighting him many times) was the only boxer I saw truly adjustment and make Pacquiao pay for his aggressiveness.
5909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GRAFT Letter to the Community. WTF!? on: September 28, 2019, 02:45:06 PM
I still vividly remember this project in 2017, so much hype in it until some issues came up as well regarding it's bounty and the project itself.

And I was quite surprised to see the project still running up to this day. But just like the rest of them, some die, some survived but having trouble like like the case of Graft today.

Just to be fair, there's a lot of projects going this route, investors pulling out, money is draining. So I really don't know how can this project continue unless someone give them money to continue. With that said, it's time for them to stop, no point in continuing when there is no direction.
5910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt disappointment on: September 28, 2019, 08:39:15 AM
How many of you guys feel disappointed about how bakkt did nothing to crypto market price but shrink it down to where it is today? i am one of those who think bakkt will have huge impact on crypto market since 2018 so here we are today and things went sideways
I am also very disappointed with the bakkt. Wait for a very long time but until it appears, nothing too special happens. Even the volume is only 1BTC per day

Let's not talk about be disappointed or at least not to expect something big to happen overnight. I know it's sad to see the price going on a nosedive below $8k, it is what is it, and no one to blame here expect us people who put to much on this so called bitcoin future offering contract that bakkt is opening and touted this to be the next catalyst for a bull-run.

Just get over with it, and I'm sure you will feel better and just wait in the next couple of days and see if the price of bitcoin could recover in the five digits again.
5911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 28, 2019, 08:18:36 AM
Ok this actually happens to my friend not so long ago, he is going on a boxing match and he will bet for the heavy favorite, then suddenly an unknown guy whisper to him, that the fight is going to be fixed and he supposedly heard it from the favorite to win, locker room, are you going to listen to that and bet for the underdog.

What's your take?

Why not? Most of the time those kind of whispers are good to bet. Mostly, I have experienced that on horse gambling and I would say I won good money.

So I might throw some money in there, just for the sake for to see if it is real or not or just a coincidence, still there is money to be won here, so I will go with that whispers and see how it goes.

5913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Kovalev WBO Light Heavyweight Championship on: September 27, 2019, 08:56:11 AM
The second match exposes Kovalev's weakness, against a slugger like Ward who always gets in, he has a hard time landing his jabs, and powerful right, this is something that he should watch out against Alvarez, who wants to get in always at every opportunity.

I don't see a lot of chances for Kovalev to succeed against Canelo. He's more powerful, that's right, but Canelo is quicker, more experienced and simply makes a better impression.

Nevertheless, this fight's gonna be one of the best this year. Boxing needs that kind of duels to keep fans interested. Especially in low-weight divisions.

As far as experienced goes, you should give it to Kovalev, his been in this boxing business for too long already.

However, boxing pundits favored Canelo here because he is young and of course beat GGG one of the best MW boxers although his fight is LW which Kovalev is comfortable, Canelo's ability to adjust and power in both hands will be his advantages on this fight.

I agree, it just a disappointment that the supposedly event that will bring the market and push the price, the opposite happened.

But on the bright side, why don't we just take this opportunity to get more BTC's? The price is really cheap at the moment and maybe we won't see this price in the future.

So stop making excuses and blame bakkt today, maybe in the coming days we can see some semblance of a recovery, but at this point, better stack up our wallet with cheap coins.
5915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 27, 2019, 08:04:18 AM
For years, some NBA players lied about their height. They can’t anymore.

Kevin Durant is listed as 6-foot-9 but claims he's 6-11, and soon we'll know for sure what number is correct.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/09/27/years-some-nba-players-lied-about-their-height-they-cant-anymore/

Well I don't see any issues with that, we have heard many players as well "faking" their height.

Durant can still be effective whatever his height is, I mean we have seen his grow and evolved as one of the best NBA players.

Doesn't change a bit if a player lied about their height on not, it's how they contribute and how their career goes.
5916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 27, 2019, 07:23:57 AM
In case you guys are interested to know, below are the Under card for this event

Misael Rodriguez (9-0, 4 KOs) vs Brandon Maddox (7-2-1, 5 KOs)
Lindolfo Delgado (10-0, 10 KOs) vs Jesus Zazueta Anaya (6-4-1, 4 KOs)
Fabian Maidana (16-1, 12 KOs) vs Ramses Agaton (21-10-3, 11 KOs)
Burley Brooks (3-0, 3 KOs) vs Fabian Valdez (3-5)
Amon Rashidi (7-0, 5 KOs) vs Alfonso Olvera (11-6-3, 4 KOs)
Fernando Garcia (12-1, 7 KOs) vs Juan Antonio Lopez (14-7, 6 KOs)
Leon Lawson III vs Alan Zavala
Justin Cardona vs Archie Weah
Jose Valenzuela vs Charles Clark

Some of these boxers are not very popular but it's against good boxers with good potential against boxers who are just stepping stone for future big fights, but it's good to watch these boxers with good potential we can only see them on undercards, this is where great boxers starts from undercard from popular fights to gain exposure to boxing aficionados.

And this would really give people's worth of their money, honestly there is the first boxing match I know that has 9 undercards, usually that's only below 5 matches. Maybe they need this to attract more crowd I'm guessing because just like you, I am also not familiar with these boxers.

What a lame undercard, here, just look at the records of all the fighters most of them are unheard of. Only the main and co main event will the people going to watch.

Perhaps we can find some gems on those undercard fighters, I mean elite boxers didn't start as main event, like like Pacquaio did, if I'm not mistaken he was on the several undercard, his first on the Oscar De La Hoya-Javier Castillejo, his debut on US soil fighting Ledwaba.
5917  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL on: September 27, 2019, 06:54:02 AM
Ultimately it's clear that the bottom will be sub-$1,000. I might buy a whole bitcoin again at that point as a novelty I guess.

Just imagine the scene when bitcoin goes sub -$1,000, are you sure you gonna buy just 1 BTC alone?

Full BTC is one of average Joe's goal, but I think if the right price is presented, more people are going to purchase even casual investors.

As for the OP's battle cry, Lol, at least we have a new kwukduck in the making here Grin
5918  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Be careful of Bitcoins giveaways that are too good to be true on: September 27, 2019, 06:34:24 AM
Speaking of scams and bitcoin giveaways, I recently stumbled this post in the Beginners & Help

{Warning}: Fake Bakkt Giveway website

The length those criminals will do just to victimised unsuspecting people in the crypto verse. Just imagine couple of days from bakkt launch, those scammers are impersonating and trying to lure everyone in their game.

That's why each and everyone of us should stay away from this so called giveaways because 90% of them are really scam.
5919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: September 26, 2019, 11:41:00 PM
Just to be fair though, every investment has risk involved remember that.

One thing that separates crypto though is that this market is prone to manipulation that's why the risk factors multiply. And then this is a speculative asset as well, so there's a lot of dangers wherein you don't know how the market will move in the next couple of minutes and hours.

That's why if you are a investors, you really need to understand the circumstances behind this crypto market and then decide for yourself how much money you are going to invest on it.
5920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: September 26, 2019, 10:25:28 AM

~ snip ~

We all know that career doesnt last forever and he will continue to get defeated not only with Ruiz then its over for his career.
If he would be beaten 2nd time on this rematch,he wont back to zero but regaining its popularity and recognition would already be hard.
We know on how people do react and sees fighters that arent already capable of. Preparation for the rematch is quite long and just right for them to be ready.

Losing twice to Andy Ruiz will ruin his career and he needs to go back again and reset everything. How many fights do he need to go to regain that confidence again? While the top HW are banging it's other as to who is going to be the number 1. While Joshua is fighting the left-overs before he can climb up the ladder again. So it's like going back to zero again because he had lost so much of his stature that his name is no longer in the middle of the discussions. Remember that this is not all about boxing, he needs to win this one so that his sponsorship with other brands would continue as well, Under Armour, British Airways and Hugo Boss and many more, so a definitely a must-win for him.

If Anthony Joshua II will suffer for the second time around under the punches of Andy Ruiz, I'm afraid there is no more climbing up the ladder again. There is no more talking of going back to zero and gradually climb up toward the throne and snatch the crown from whoever is wearing it. Joshua should have been reset by now. After he was humiliated in their last fight, he should have already considered his career zero. And in this upcoming rematch fight, Joshua should already be training with a zero or rock bottom mindset trying to redeem himself. Because this is his only chance. If he is defeated, and defeated convincingly by Ruiz, his career is dead.

Or he could just end up fighting bums in the UK and never come back to the US soil, Lol. He will definitely goes out of the limelight and no more the attraction. This will be the biggest turn around in the last decade or so if he losses badly to Andy Ruiz.

But if he redeem himself, I don't know maybe we can see a trilogy? and let them finished what they started and the winner goes up against Wilder and then Fury?
