Week 72 Payments Sent

Indeed they were.  Thanks my man!  Never a doubt with Stake.

I also see there is a new email code being sent when you withdraw funds from the user wallet on Stake.com.  Nice to see that work is still being done on the functionality of the site to help protect users and make our gambling home a little safer for everyone.  Smiley

Looking forward to seeing how Stake continues to surprise me with new additions and partnerships.  Hard to see where it can go up from Drake, but I'm sure there won't be any disappointment.   Cool
5922  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTT] Trading Challenge- Main Post! Arculus Metal Wallet + Guns N' Bitcoin Patch on: May 11, 2022, 07:19:41 PM
Cool idea and good luck.  I have a suggestion though.  After looking at the thread (maybe not the most observant reading of my life) it didn't appear that you had any value set for the item and no guidance for what you're looking to trade it for.  I think it would be helpful if you set a price that you think your current item is worth and then a suggestion for what you're looking to trade for.  I'm not familiar with the metal wallet + patch, so I don't know if I should be offering to trade you a Casascius coin or a 1g silver coin.

I like the idea though and I hope you're able to get a Casascius coin eventually like this.  It's always great to show people what's possible with some work.

I guess I'm the only idiot who runs GPUs underclocked to get that sweet hash without the massive heat bonus.  Nevertheless, I slapped an underclocked 3060ti onto this Nicehash miner to see what it would do.  I'm now getting 43mh/s as opposed to the 27mh/s I was getting prior to this.  Granted it isn't the 60mh/s that others are claiming with a 3060ti, but it's definitely an improvement and my miner is sitting at temps that make me smile.  I'm not going to play around with overclocking and trying to get that 60+ number, because summertime, but I'm satisfied with this improvement and hope it comes to other miners soon.  Using Nicehash software makes me feel like I need a shower.

No issue at all.

Have you tried with other mirror links? could be a cache problem or an internet source problem. But, I suggest to use other mirror link first rather than using VPN for testing the site. You can also tried using "Incognito Mode"

To get a fresh cache.

I tried a fresh cache and that didn't seem to do the trick for me.  Searching now for the mirror links but I don't see them in the OP and when I search for mirror I just end up finding a post about a mirror mirror contest of some sort.

Any chance you have those mirror links for me or can point me in the right direction so that I can try that?  Any other advice or recommendations would be helpful.  While online betting isn't illegal where I live, my IP is still blocked from the site for whatever reason, causing me to have to use TOR for accessing Stake.com.  Usually it works fine, but I have come across this issue before, which leads me to believe it is a bug with a TOR update and will probably be resolved on it's own at some point.  Would love to get it resolved sooner if possible though.

I wanted to circle back and say that today I was able to get logged into the site no problem as if everything was normal.  No action was taken on my side, so I assume Stake had some sort of maintenance that left onion browsers in the cold for a minute.  This was somewhat confirmed in my opinion as I am now receiving email codes with withdrawals, which is new to me.  So I could very well be wrong, but from the end user standpoint it seems that functionality was effected for a day while they instituted a new email code for withdrawals system.  Nevertheless, everything is working correctly now and I'm once again a happy camper.  Thanks Stake!
5925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 11, 2022, 06:50:24 PM
Actually, Warriors played better without Ja Morant. Look at game 4, it was Memphis who were leading in the game, Warriors just made a huge surge in the 4th quarter so they won, but in game 3, Ja Morant was the leading scoring and his teammates are just living in his shadow, so they are less effective.
I have a different point of view of what happened in Games 3 and 4, with and without Ja Morant. Game 3 was the start of homecourt advantage for the Warriors so the pressure will be there. While in Game 4 they are a bit calm although they played without Ja.
It's not that they are better without him, that's kind of disrespect for Ja. It's just that they had always been a better team with high chemistry and cerebral. But above that all, they will need their superstar to win a game, especially against strong teams like the Warriors.
That kind of rumor about the Grizzlies being better without him started in the season, but that's not true in my opinion.

Obviously the Grizzlies aren't better without Ja Morant.  That's crazy talk.  They have basically no chance at beating the Warriors without him.  We'll see that demonstrated tonight as the Warriors defeat the Grizzlies and move on to the next round where they'll meet up with the winner of the Suns vs Mavericks series.

While the Warriors game will be a good one to watch as they hammer past the Grizzlies, the real fireworks might be in the Bucks vs Celtics game.  Al Horford did a lot of talking after the game about Giannis disrespecting him on "that dunk" where he stared him down and then set Al Horford on a rampage that cost them the game.  I expect tonight will have some Horford/Giannis magic as they both try to get the better of each other.
5926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall below $30k on: May 11, 2022, 06:44:17 PM
Bitcoin indeed fell below $30K for a bit a couple of times over the last 24 hours.  Unfortunately for me, I have to wait for funds to be moved over in order to buy anything, but the market certainly seems to be offering one of it's black swan sales.

The question is, who here managed to buy some Bitcoin under the $30,000 price level?  I'm not going to back the truck up here, but I'm certainly looking to buy back more BTC than I sold during higher price levels.  Hopefully we don't see the fall down to $10K.  My biggest concern though was with the coming mtgox coins distribution.  Do Kwon has shown that the market can digest billions of dollars in BTC being dumped on it though, so it's likely that we won't see a return to $10K just from the mtgox coins alone.  An ETF would sure be nice right now though.  More downward pressure could be alleviated with some upward pressure.  Just waiting on the SEC...

4 more spots to go!  I'll let it go another 24 hours and if no takers and everyone is good with it, I'll fill the last spots myself (so long as the people who are currently entered have no problem with that).  Let's get this party started!  Somebody needs to win a free ounce of silver!

I may need to rethink the name of these raffles in the future though.  It feels so much better to give to others than to receive yourself.  There really are no losers here except for those who don't participate.  Tongue
5928  Other / Archival / Re: Gambling Campaigns on: May 11, 2022, 06:34:46 PM
I'm not sure if this issue hasn't been discussed before, but I'll try anyway. Why is gambling advertising delayed more often than others on this forum? I now mean advertising in signatures. For 10 new campaigns - 9 from the world of gambling, casinos, bookmakers, etc. Other services come across very rarely, and if they do appear, they exist for a short period of time and then leave this forum. The BestChange and ChipMixer campaigns are rather an exception to the rule, advertising non-gambling services that have existed here for years. Everything else is gambling.

Even in 2021, when the industry attracted a huge amount of funds, an insane number of services and projects were opened, but all this was not on the forum, again, almost the same casino advertisement. One might think that the forum is simply not attracted by advertisers who would like to advertise their product in this format, but gambling projects feel good here, they are regular here and can last for long months, unlike advertisements for mixers, exchanges, tokens, etc.

The short answer...  Online casinos in crypto are making a fortune off those seeking riches.  I'm sure a majority of the users in their campaigns are probably also addicted gamblers looking to give away their signature earnings at the chance of a jackpot.  So you have to wonder how much is really leaving these casinos due to these campaigns.  You could even make the argument that signature campaign users eventually turn into loyal customers.  That makes the signature campaigns as much about getting new users to try their service as it is paying them to advertise to others.

As far as the money laundering operations...  There are lots of scammers here and they are constantly pestered unless they use alt accounts and mixers, so that's where their cut of the pie comes from.  Personally, I think at least the gambling operations aren't benefitting from scams here and are providing some entertainment.
5929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only a matter of time until this website dies on: May 11, 2022, 06:27:41 PM
Bitcoin 33,000....soon to be 21,000...Etherium classic will soon disperse....gen Zs retirement disappeared into smithereens.

This website may die, but not from the exchange rate.  More likely it will be taken over by spammers and con artists that force out any legitimate use of Bitcoin, then if not countered with action will likely result in a downward spiral to insignificance.

In reality, this website was at it's peak as far as a being a positive learning environment to discuss crypto back when Bitcoin was around $5.  I've said it before, but I'd happily accept a return to the $5 exchange rate if that meant this place could be a home for Bitcoin activity and a positive place to build on Bitcoin again.  It would be worth it in the long run.

Definitely writing on the wall as Coinbase makes it perfectly clear that they intend to be the next mtgox in the event that something goes wrong.  This is actually terrifying, as I have some ETH2 locked up earning interest that has been in there a long time.  I don't believe they ever allowed trading of it, so to find out now that I'm an unsecured creditor is a bit unsettling.  I've removed all of my BTC from Coinbase (I never held much there, but did keep some there for trading or hedging trades purposes).  I wonder if other exchanges have similar wording in the fine print somewhere.  Definitely concerning for anyone who touches exchanges with their crypto.

Bitcoin’s price getting you down? Is the panic setting in? Want to dump some coins before they go to zero? Want something physical instead of magic internet money? Here’s your chance. Stick me with your virtual coins and get some shiny silver shipped to your door.

Feel free to grab them from the NastyFans site or PM me directly. I’m usually willing to accept a lot of different altcoins as well.  Smiley

This is the tap on the back "it's all gonna be fine" that I needed 😂

The exchange rate has fallen by more than 25% since I asked in this post to be the dumping ground for magic internet money.  I'm sure everything will be fine eventually, but for those who want to cash out a little bit now and have something to show for it, I got silver for you.  Drop me a PM and let us make a deal.  Smiley

Terra USD is going down to zero. Currently 0.35$ for 1UST. What a joke. So much for bitcoin pegged usd. Grin Grin Grin

LUNA Will be zero before UST

That seems to be the reasonable expectation given what I'm hearing.  The rumor that I read was that they would be giving a 50% discount in LUNA for those willing to put up money to buy back UST, but with LUNA already dumping well beyond that, you have to wonder if UST can be saved.  The goal of the LUNA dumping being to restore UST to $1.  It being at $0.30 right now seems like it may be an opportunity.  The BTC that was sold was only sold at a 33% loss.  I'm not sure exactly what sort of funding was used to purchase it, but I'd imagine that $0.30 is a result of panic and that the fair value should still be higher.  LUNA on the other hand will likely be dumped and dumped as long as there are people willing to buy.

I guess I should've picked up some UST before bed last night.  At $0.30 it was a hell of a double opportunity in a few hours.  As LUNA continues to be dumped to anyone who will take it in order to try and save UST, it appears they've also dumped a great deal of alts as the market is slaughtered today.  Probably a good opportunity to grab shitcoins as a result.  I wouldn't touch LUNA, but I still think UST is likely to be closer to it's peg before this is all over.  So glad I didn't listen to people and buy LUNA when everyone was saying how smart Do Kwon was...  It's never smart to telegraph your major buys and then go through with it as the price skyrockets as a result.  Play dumb games, win dumb prizes...
5933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 11, 2022, 08:03:52 AM
Seems like the Suns are ready to move to the next round.  Luka got a little help here and there this series, but it's still pretty clear that without a dominant second scorer this team is going to struggle in the postseason.  The next game should be a good one as Dallas has their backs to the wall, but I think they're just overmatched.  I'm expecting a Suns vs Warriors Western Conference Finals, and with the Warriors healthy (more or less) this year, we'll likely see the series we should have seen last year.  That matchup will probably be the best of the postseason unless we get a Bucks/Warriors Finals matchup, which right now seems more likely than not.

I think the worst damage to Bitcoin has been done.  The cascading liquidations seem to have stopped and so has Do Kwon's selling.

i buy 1 merit point. offers ?

Merit is not allowed to be sold.  Additionally, it isn't worth anything so you shouldn't be willing to buy it.  There are plenty of opportunities to earn merit for free by doing small things.  Use the search function or ask around in the beginner section.  Offering to buy it isn't the way.  Good luck!
5936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 11, 2022, 01:08:13 AM
What a heartbreaking injury and horrible turn of event's for Memphis.  "MEMPHIS -- Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant has a bone bruise in his right knee and is considered doubtful for the remainder of the playoffs, the team announced Tuesday.
The Grizzlies said Morant underwent an MRI that revealed the extent of the injury. Memphis will be without its star point guard for a second straight game as the Grizzlies try to avoid elimination against the Golden State Warriors at home in Game 5 on Wednesday".  https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33893501/memphis-grizzlies-ja-morant-bone-bruise-doubtful-remainder-playoffs

Obviously the Grizzlies have absolutely no chance with out Ja.  He's such an exciting player to watch, and one of the few reasons I've paid extra attention to these playoffs.

Ya, a shame indeed.  They had little chance to win with Ja, but without him they're hopeless.  I love seeing talented players elevate above everyone else in the postseason and that's what Ja was doing.  Messed up that injuries play such a big role in the NBA these days.

On that note, Joel Embiid took another shot to the face and he was in a ton of pain.  He shouldn't be out there in the first place, but seeing this happen shows why.  I'm genuinely sad for him because I know how much he wants an NBA title.  He's being tested this year.  Shocking that he's playing with this sort of injury and you have to respect him being out there.  I'm sure it's something he'll probably regret for the rest of his life once he's retired, so I hope they can help him get to the next round...

If you already playing on stake I don't see any reason why you should look for a new casinos unless you just looking for a competitor for stakes because most of the reputable casinos have similar features.

Stake has certainly paid the cost to be the boss as they say.  Getting Drake as a spokesman was a pretty big deal.  I'm sure that had to get them exposure with a whole new crowd and probably brought a lot of folks into crypto.

The only gambling site I personally thought was superior to Stake was the old on-chain betting site directbet.eu, which unfortunately had to stop operating once people started taking advantage of the on-chain style gambling by gaming tx fees to make it so only winning bets confirmed.  A shame and why we can't have nice things...  If you're willing to bet with a custodian though, I see no reason to look outside of Stake.

The real conspiracy was the effort by the media to marginalize anyone who sided with Trump as a conspiracy theorist.  The far-left leaning operatives of Democratic party colluded with the media to squash any attempt at rational discussion.  Any one questioning the validity of the election was written off as a right-wing nut-job conspiracy theorist, and subsequently ignored.  All the "Fact Checking" seemed to diminish the value of real, hard evidence that there was a criminal effort to steer the election away from Trump.

The Democratic Media Industrial Complex is a powerful machine, and it works. Some voters feel buyers remorse, at least that's what they're telling the pollsters. Biden's polling numbers are abhorrent.

It just means they were duped into thinking orange Hitler and his mean tweets were the end of civilized society; and the only way out was to vote for democratic politicians that were going to use the government to fix all their problems. Trump wasn't wise enough to circumvent their tactics.

BUT… The disinformation czar said that it’s democrats who have their voices silenced. It’s the republicans canceling democrats in their fantasy world apparently.

I haven’t seen this movie yet, but I have a couple friends who have and claim that it is irrefutable proof that Biden did not win the election. I’m not sure what good it is to expose this, but just like when it was proved in court that the Clinton campaign and not Trump were the ones colluding with Russia and the media still claims it was the opposite. This will be no different. You could have a judge rule that Biden lost the election and democrats would still claim it wasn’t true. If you want to be angry and see the evidence that the election was stolen, maybe this movie is for you. I’m guessing most people won’t take the time to watch and will continue believing whatever they want. Shocker huh?
