Thanks for your input, however your reasoning is flawed - show me a topic that has the BitCoin symbol embedded in the title. (There are none) You are confusing the ability to put symbols via Android (and Apple??) from mobile devices. I'm talking about utilising BBCode to show other alt coins, specifically just Ether (for the moment at least) It looks like you got me wrong on my first post. I am talking about two different things. I am aware that there are no Bitcoin symbols embedded in the title. Nevertheless I think adding symbols for other Altcoins isn't a good idea for the reasons I mentioned above (above the line in my first post).
Concerning the non coin related symbols, my screenshot of the bounty section was just an example. If you would make the every-day user aware of the possibility, that they are able to use many different buttons or symbols in their posts, I am sure many more people would use these. Posts would get unbelievably messy and hard to read. I don't believe anyone wants to read posts all day, that look like the todays posts in the bounty section. |

Bayern must be joking to think they can sign Leroy from City for just 40 million euros. Manchester City bought Sane from Schalke for 37 million pounds and the player has improved so much since his arrival at the Etihad, he should by now have doubled up in price on what city got him for. If Bayern Munich are really interested in the deal, then they must start making reasonable bids that's close to what city's asking price is, or else sane could just end up staying in City.
Leroy Sané only has about one year left of his contract. In addition to that, he was injured for several month now. I am pretty sure he will move to Bayern for a reasonable price and that's not the €80-100m Manchester City was asking a few month ago (before his injury and before the Covid-19 pandemic). The transfer fee will be more like €45m-60m, which is fair I guess. It even looks like City is only asking for €50m, if you trust this German Kicker article: Bayern and Leroy Sané have agreed personal terms over a 5-year contract. I would prefer a "thumbs down"-Button instead, to put it here. Isn't this place called Bitcointalk.org?  Okay that was it little bit harsh maybe, please forgive me. But let me explain why I don't think adding more "Altcoin-symbols" is a good idea, even it is only for Ether for now: If we start adding a new symbol for Ether, other people will quickly come up with new suggestions for their Alt-(Shitcoins). At the beginning their suggestions might be somewhat reasonable, because their coin might have a huge userbase or is widely spread, but after a while idiot people and scammers will ask to add symbols for obvious scams like BSV or shilled shitcoins like XRP. Do we really want this? I doubt it. I voted for the "No - Just BitCoin" option in the poll.
Other non-coin related buttons and symbols could be useful though. Nevertheless these would need to be selected very carefully. We don't want the whole forum to look like this:  Link to the Altcoin section. Don't click it. You will find a lot of bullshit. |

How will you watch the games? Will any of you watch the games in a pub?
I will be watching at home with a big bag of chips and having some tasty BBQ on Sunday. I doubt that many people will be able to watch the upcoming games in a pub or bar, since most countries are still on lockdown or bars and pubs haven't opened again yet. In addition to that, even if it would be cool to watch the games in a pub, I suggest everyone to stay at home and practise social distancing. We don't want a second wave, we don't want the league to be canceled again and especially we don't want more people dying. Stay on your couch and watch the Bundesliga! |

Champions und Europa League ab 2021/22 bei ServusTVServusTV wird ab der Saison 2021/22 pro Jahr insgesamt 33 Spiele aus der Champions League, der Europa League sowie der neu gegründeten Europa Conference League live im Free-TV und im Live-Stream auf servustv.com übertragen. Super, schön dass mehr europäische Fußballspiele ins FreeTV kommen. Das sind doch mal erfreuliche Nachrichten für alle Fans. Aber du könntest ja in deinem Exchange Thread eine neue Kategorie "peer-to-peer Marktplätze" einfügen. Das wäre dann auch der richtige Platz für eine Plattform wie Paxful, Localbitcoins, LocalCryptos und wie sie alle heißen. Die drei sind vermutlich eh die bekanntesten. Nur so eine Idee Den Gedanken hatte ich in der Tat auch schon. Eine Kategorie "peer-to-peer" wäre sicherlich eine gute Ergänzung für die Übersicht. Fraglich ist natürlich aber wie viel Platz wir diesen Marktplätzen hier im Forum einräumen wollen, weil sich dort eben so viele schwarze Schafe rum treiben. Das war ein Grund der mich bis immer abgeschreckt hat. Wie sehen das denn die anderen? Falls die Mehrheit dafür wäre, kann ich sie zeitnah (mit einem deutlichen Hinweis auf die Gefahren) aufnehmen. |

Die Person hinter der erfolgreichsten Kryptowährung will aber auch nicht an die Daten meines Reisepasses. 
Stattdessen werden hier wirklich irrelevante Sachen bemängelt. zB. One liners im announcement thread, das ist leider der Fall, betrifft aber leider die meisten Announcement Threads, inklusive der von Ethereum.
Also wenn ich mir den Thread von Ethereum so anschaue, sehe ich nicht wo Vitalik mit einem seiner Alt-Accounts seitenlange Diskussionen führt und "one-liner" austauscht. Aber vielleicht übersehe ich was und ihr seid das nächste Ethereum. Aber so wirklich glaube ich nicht dran. Kann weiterhin jedem nur abraten, seine sensiblen Daten hier zu teilen. |
